I don't see Ginny as Harry's "soulmate". That term to me is much more then what i feel for Ginny & Harrys relationship. I would have loved to see the Harry/Hermione thing work out. But then where will that leave Ron? lol

That's why I'm a little more irritated at Harry/Ginny than I should be. >.>;; JK keeps insisting their soulmates in interviews when she should have instead showed it in the books. =| That to me is a sign of a sloppy writer, cause everything should be said in the book. ^^;; Not to say that I don't like JK, of course, but I'm just saying that I don't like this particular tidbit about her. xDD;;

Yeah i guess that is weird. I mean how are we as readers meant to know that they are "soulmates" if it's not written in the books lol. It's important for the reader to feel that they are ...

That's the one thing Twilight and The Host have over the Harry Potter series.
Even though Twilight is totally rushed, you at least get they feeling that they are head over heels for each other, as weird as the relationship is >_> In The Host, this is done better. It's more subtle,there are better reasons for the relationships, and it's not rushed at all. I guess deep relationships aren't Rowling's strong point. OMG I should have asked her! XD I totally shook her hand once >_> |
