Hi, Platinum! Up until about seven months or so ago, I hadn't been in a church since I was 15, barring the usual weddings and funerals. I went to Shelia's church with her several times, but I really felt kind of hypocritical doing so.

My parents make me go to keep up appearances, I suppose, but I've never considered myself an appearance kind of girl. It's so irritating knowing that I'm taking someone else's seat. |

Platinum, no worries there. I wasn't taking anyone else's seat, I promise. The church never seemed to be more than half full. It was also, from what I saw, an aging church. I know there had to be young people around, maybe they went at a different time.

I stopped going to church not long after conformation - I started again when I was dating a boy from a very religious family, but as soon as our relationship ended so did my 'need' to go to church.
Every now and then I think about checking out the Unitarian church down the street from me - if I was to be vaguely religious again I think they would be the ones to interest me since they are so open and accepting of everyone. |
@Red: Problem for me is that when I go to mass, it's ALWAYS full and overflowing DX
@Remaja: we're just talking about church and how a good chunk of us doesn't like to go >w> @Sia: Oddly enough, confirmation is what determined I was agnostic. I never told anyone of course, but my suspicions about myself were confirmed during that period of time. I wish I could be religious again but I guess that's just not for me ^^; |
