Yes, but I'm not very good at it, haha XD
Oh, I have to go. I promised my little brother he'd get 2 hours on the computer today. I'm giving him his turn while I do chores. In the meantime, here's something I was working on yesterday and will keep working on when it's my turn again XD: CLICK PLEASE >w< |
the eye is looking fabulous (as is the rest but since the eye seems to be the only part 'done' I thought to comment on it. XD)
|
Yeah. The eye is the only thing that's done. Not even the lineart is done XD
But thanks! Usually, I do things this way: Lineart, base colors, skin, eyes, rest of the face, clothes, background, other special details. But when it's late I get bored really fast so I just switch back and forth (when things are doable, of course. I can't lay done the base color for something I haven't finished the lineart of XD ) |
XD I wanna play with computer graphic art stuff. </3 I need more money so I can get a program/tablet lol.
|
Aw XD
Well I have a really small tablet, 4 by 6 inches and it cost me 100 dollars. It's not the best thing out there (it's small), but for me it gets the job done >w< And I got Photoshop CS3 Extended for free when a guy fixed my computer... XD;; Alright, I just now finished the lineart and I'm gonna start on the skin >w< |
how does everyone get the art programs free? I'm so jealous. XD
I want a tablet that is a bit bigger than that. But smaller then a piece of paper. Maybe I don't know what I want. XD But I'll figure that out when I have the money to get one. ^^;; |
The guy has his own copy of CS3, and so he installed it on my computer. Plus he's got a whole bunch of serial numbers and stuff. He has a LOT of programs, and I think his computer's running on 8+ Gigs XD;;
|
Whoa, pretty good work so far Platty ^^
|
Quote:
*nodnod* It's soooo pretty right now. ^~^ |
Thanks, you guys >w<
Hopefully I'll finish it by tomorrow XD |
Yahhh.
I finally finished mine. :3 Tis not amazing though. Picture of Artie I'm not done with it though... I still have to ink it then color it since I know how to now. ;D |
Thats soo cute Shan! ^^ Artie will love it ><
|
@Platinum
Wow, your lines are so clean and smooooth *o* How do you get the variation in the linework? That is one thing i can not figure out for the life of me I've had to resort to erasing the ends so they taper off in to a fine point, i just wondered if there is a faster way of doing it Bwa ha ha - i have a lil 6x4 tablet too. Lols. No pressure sensitivity or anything. Gah! Kinda sucks. I soooo want a Cintiq! @Simplicity Awww so cute! I love it, i'm sure the person it is for will be over the moon as well. Nice job! @Roach GARGH, i'll get to work on your double hopefully after school Ugly, ugly art history. DIE! Lols... |
Oh! Yeah, that would be awesome dude. I can't give you your wings till Jellysundae clears up the mess in my inven xD. She told me not to trade/sell anything till she gets confirmation etc.
Oh! Im excited about seeing Alec tomorrow, bout this early childhood education thing. I hope that he can find me a job at the same time! Just hope it works out for me just for once! >< Which reminds me! Gotta get a warrant n reg tomorrow on my car Lol, been puttin that off for awhile. |
@Simplicity: that is so adorable~ >w< I'm glad you found the help you were looking for. Show me when it's done ^^
@Nivvy: I use the pen tool. The way I do it takes a bit longer than the usual way though, because it involves more paths. The important thing is that your sketch has line variation, that way you can follow it with the pen tool. See, I don't use the "stroke" method (when we click on the circle with the non-dotted line), I use the "fill" method. Basically, it's outlining the lineart (which is why having line variation on the sketch is so important). I like this method because the lines come out much cleaner and more smooth than with the stroke method >w< Let me know if you need a screenshot of how that works XD |
Roachy ~ I hope he will. I actually sat down and worked on it without rushing for once with my art. .__.
Nivvy ~ Thankiess. I hope he will too! ;D Platty ~ I'll probably ink it tonight, and hopefully finish that. I can't promise coloring, but I'll show it to you as I get closer to finishing it. I'm glad you all like it though! ;D |
I'll be waiting eagerly then! >w<
I'm cleaning out some junk out of my computer, but as soon as I'm done, I'll go ahead and finish what I was working on XD; |
OH NOEZ I FORGOT ABOUT PLATII!;_;
|
Aw, don't cwy >_<
*hugs* :heart: At least you remembered ^^ |
*Hugs* Ok!But I gotta go though.;__; Bye Platii.
|
Bye, bye Foxxi. Hope you have a good time ^^
|
@Shannon - Well when you finish it can i see it?
|
Roachy ~ Of course I'll show it to you! ^~^
Unfinished Lineart My eyes hurt from it right now, so I'm taking a break. :3 I'm actually kinda proud of it so far! ;D |
@ Platinum
Ohhh right, i understand what you mean. I never thought of doing it like that! I usually do the stroke option. But thanks a bunch for that xD;; I've tried it once i think, and then got lazy... *Dies* Yeah i like lines with varied weight, they have a nicer feel to them as opposed to lines that are the same weight. I'll hafta give it another go ^^ Although i don't feel that proficient in doing sketches. Sooo rough </3 |
Hi Platty =]
