Oldies love a chat!
Gah, the last 2 days I've been catching the bus I've gotten stuck in the queue behind old people.
They chat and chat with the bus driver and I seriously want to shove past them to get on the damned bus! Today, to make it worse, it was raining so while Mr old guy was having a lovely old time chatting with the bus driver the rest of us were getting wet! Why do they do this? Doesn't matter where you are, if there's an old person queuing in front of you they'll probably chat to the driver, checkout chick, support, etc. They might not have a schedule to follow but I do and so does the freaking bus so hurry the hell up! Anyone else have days or experiences like this? |
I actually get along with old people, probably because I live with my Grandparents and I love them to death, so I can deal with those kind of situations that get you to feel impaitent.
But I have had experiences like this before, when their conversations seem to be forever and they don't quite notice the "enviornment" around them, if you catch my drift. |

You get shorter as you get older xD |
well if i was in your shoes i would
well first of all old people are nice so i know its embarrasing buttttt possibly say um excuse me i really need to get onto the bus today >.< |
It didn't happen today but I'm sure something similar will... an oldie trying to choose a product at the supermarket, taking up the entire aisle without realising it.
Taking forever to buy their lottery tickets or their newspaper when all i want is a bus ticket I'm paying cash for *dies* |
I don't have many problems with the older population though there used to be an old man who lived up the road who would haul ass to cut in front of you then drive twenty-five miles per hour
^ now that pissed me off! |
