Hello! I come from Gaia! I own an art shop there, and one customer asked me to draw her Menewsha avatar. I'd never heard of Menewsha before, so I thought I'd come check it out -- and here I am. XD I like these avvys a bit more than Gaia's, I think. They're a lot prettier. :3 I do wish there were starter items here, though!! I have no gold yet, and no clothes either. D8 Anyone have any advice for this n00b? xDD |

Lots of us came here from Gaia so you'll fit right in. i agree that the art here is so much prettier than on Gaia. The best tip I can give to gain gold is to start posting and finds places to chat. It'll start stacking up that way. Also if you have time for an art shop, that's a good way to get gold. :) And if you're looking for a quick clothing item, there is a shirt for 30g in the Hot Gossip shop. |
Also, don't forget to read all of the stickies! There are one or two that give you ideas on what to do for gold.

I, too, came from Gaia and was impressed with Mene.
Games are a good way to get gold. We have classic arcade games here. Tip: tetris starting at lvl 7. If you're looking for a good place to make friends or a quick stop to ask questions feel free to visit my 'Mene Families' hangout. You don't even have to be in a family to hang out with us ^^ |

Mene's pretty much like Gaia, people here are really nice, so don't worry about being flamed like crazy or anything. Gold here isn't too hard to earn, just join in on events, post in threads, and make new friends! (Check out the arcade, too). Also, you can do avvie art to get gold! I see you've already started, so it shouldn't be a problem for you. If you need any help, feel free to ask me! I can give you a few hints or so~ : D |

I'm also a member of gaia. I have an art shop here (click the rainbow banner in my signature to view) but I've yet to create on on gaia. I find it much easier to converse on Menewsha as the members are much nicer. Plus there aren't a thousand ten year olds bumping pointless threads and cussing each other out over pixel hats on here *snickers* Anywho, I hope you enjoy it here on Mene! |
