O I see. It does make sense for people to rally about raising the money spent on the education system. Although even if you have a solid education system people rally about it since we have strikes here too. Usually it's by elementary school teachers or university students and teacher assistants.
Woah that young?! Crazy... Who introduced coffee to you at such a young age? Ah I see, it's great you caught it early then. Was it because you were getting some stomach pains? I know my friend had bad stomach pain 2 weeks ago and she asked people what they think the cause is. Someone mentioned that she might have too much stomach acid in her stomach caused by not eating enough. O sweet! That is a big plus then. I didn't know that apples kept you awake like coffee does. Oh ya true. I forget that most people who go to good schools there have drivers. You're so lucky that getting drivers and maids is so cheap. My parents rarely are willing to drive me home from school if I have something after school so I end up having to walk 10 minutes to a bus stop and bus home. Are you allowed to switch around your schedule a lot and change professors if you hear that they aren't good? I hear that in my university you can change everything to make it what you want. Which would help a ton because my campus is huge and I would die if I couldn't switch around what classes I have. O I see. Guess I have some hope to learn then! I think I tried playing around with flippers once and found it difficult. It's so much tougher to move your legs smoothly with big flippers on your feet. Starfish are slimy so I can see why they would be odd to touch. The one I played with was black =D |

We get a lot of rallies here in our university, since after all, the government subsidizes the cost of tuition here. But, if they keep decreasing the budget for education, the tuition fees will increase as well, and that's not good for those who can barely pay the regular tuition fee as it is. :x There was even a 300% increase two years ago, and they're supposedly planning another increase for next school year. =O
What do people rally about over there though? =O Increase in wages? Actually, my grandmother did. xDD;; One time, my cousins and I were watching her drink coffee, and she let us have a sip. Since then, we've been addicted. ^^;; My parents, uncles, and aunts all tried to stop us, but every time they tried, my grandmother would say, "I am the grandmother here. YOU follow ME. So, I say that they can drink coffee if they want to." One of the reasons why my grandmother is awesome. >X3 And actually, mine was in the abdomen at first, and when I would feel spasms, it would spread to my stomach. And oh! Your friend should have it checked then. It could very well be hyperacidity as well. =O Better she has it checked now while it could still be caught early. And YES! Apples are definitely the way to go. Nevermind energy drinks too. xDD;; Apples have lots of sugar and are healthier. They're the better alternative. :> <3<3 And, well, it being easy to get drivers and maids just shows you how bad our economy is. ^^;; I'm lucky to be able to go to school instead of work like a lot of people to. :x It's why I make the most out of my education and my opportunities. :> And oh, but the buses there are of better quality anyway. =P And in our university here, we can choose any subject and any professor we want. xDD;; They just tell us something like, "You need 3 units of Math/Science, 3 unites of Social Sciences," and etc. And then, it's up to you what subject under those categories you want to take. Like, if I need one subject for Social Sciences, I can pick between the likes of Philosophy, Sociology, Geology, and etc. Those also have subcategories to them, so there's a lot of variety, and you're free to fix your schedule. :> <3<3 And like you, our university is also big, so it's good that we get to pick our schedules, else we risk running from one end of the university to another just to get to our classes. ^^;; And that's true, flippers can be distracting. =O But it's a lot easier to move underwater with them. They give more power to your legs, so that you can travel farther distances. :> It takes getting used to though. ^^;; But they're real helpful when scuba-diving. :3 <3<3 And a black starfish? =O Cool. :> I saw a really bright pink one once, and my baby cousin named it Patrick. xDD;; |

I have just been more entertained by things like ragnarok and restaurant city xDxD Although now I don't really go on ragnarok since I've grown tired of it. Then there's school and team practice. I technically only have to really try for one of my school subjects since it is a required course for my university program so they pay lots of attention to it, but I find it hard to ignore my other subjects. Due to my lack of activity my questing has been at a stand still but I do sort of have enough spare items to put together an offer for a phoenix mask which is great!!! I will read Rylynne's huge text wall in probably 3 hours??? xDxD |

Augh didn't drop by here for so long... I had a long weekend this weekend but it was SO busy xP Ya we definitely were! It was awesome to have so many topics going on at once xDxD Woohoo! I guessed correctly :rofl: Ya I can imagine that the person with the highest mark would only ever focus on studying. I know my school doesn't rank all the students overall we only rank students by grade. Is yours according to the people in the same year or in the whole university? If it is in the whole university then that is REALLY insane! Since it's only by grade in my school the person who gets the highest mark usually has an active social life. |

@ Minnie : Well, it's not really by grade or anything. =O There's a predetermined standard and minimum grade you need to get in order to qualify for Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, and Summa Cum Laude. So, it doesn't matter what year you're in or what course you're taking. =O As long as you make it to the cut-off, then the award is yours. xDD;;
It's why sometimes, no awards of the sort are given. ^^;; It all just depends if you make it or not. 8DD;; |
