@ Minnie Mouse : Nuh uh! D: I think you do have fab avatars yourself! >;] <3<3 And aww, I want more commons though! >.<;;

And lolz, why a murderer though? xDD;;

And pfft, I'm sure you'll do better than 70%! >;] <3<3

M i n u x e 09-30-2009 10:15 PM

Thanks! <333
Everyone could use more commons.

A murderer because that is what my mind thinks of when I see a head!

In physics and calculus I know I will be glad to get just a 70%. D:

Is the typhoon situation in Manila any better now? Do you know what the updated dead and missing counts are? I am quite worried because of my relatives living in Metro Manila. I do assume that they are alright because I haven't heard anything from my mom (unless she doesn't know). Ahhh worries!!! T_______T

Rylynne 10-01-2009 03:40 PM

Commons are love.
Period.
>8]
<3<3

LOLZ, I guess so~ xDD;;
I actually thought you meant the Pudao for some reason. O_O;;
Oh well? >.<;;

And, well, those are hard subjects anyway. >.<;;
Good luck though! *__* <3<3

Hmm, the death toll is reaching 300 soon. :< Reported ones, anyway. :x But over 2 million people were affected by it. >.<;;
Also, there's another storm coming here tomorrow. @[email protected];;
So... yeah. :x

M i n u x e 10-01-2009 04:16 PM

Oh yes the commons are amazing. I have no idea when I will actually let myself "loose" and buy a whole bunch of commons I like from the stores.

Lolol you did? I wonder why.

Ya they are the hard subjects. I also worry that I don't pay too much attention to those subjects and let my easier subjects like Biology slip down.

Ah wow that is high. T_T
Since the typhoon went right over Metro Manila that is a reasonable number of affected people.
Well the storm coming tomorrow isn't going to be as strong as this one right. I will pray that the storm doesn't cause any more significant devastation.

Rylynne 10-01-2009 05:14 PM

I never buy from the stores. >.<;;
I'm too cheap. xDD;;
Although I did just splurge over 5k in commons from this awesome girl in the exchange. 8DD;;
Which is good enough. >8D <3<3

I dunno. >.<;; Weren't we talking about it or something earlier? o_o;;

And aww! :< I know the feeling. D: But don't worry! I'm sure you yourself won't allow yourself to fail~ =P <3<3
I mean, the fact that you're giving it thought means something and is worth something, I believe. ^^

And... actually, it's as strong as the second most recent strong storm that came here last year. >.<;;
But, umm, stronger than that. D: </3
So, yeah. @[email protected];;
I'm still praying for the best for everyone though. :< <3<3

.Simplicity. 10-04-2009 10:23 PM

Ooo, I love the goldness Twinnie!
:'D

M i n u x e 10-05-2009 12:43 AM

@Rylynne: O true it would be foolish to spend in the stores rather than in the exchange.
I guess if I were ever to splurge on commons I would just buy everything I can in the exchange even if I can't think of an outfit to use it in right away.

Well I can't remember what we were talking about before at all. D:

Ya I will try my best not to fail. I am just really terrible at physics though. It is my absolute worst subject! T____T

I went home yesterday and talked to my mom about the storm. None of my relatives were harmed, thank goodness! My grandpa's house was flooded in the main level so he is now living in my uncle's house. All my other relative's houses weren't flooded.

The other storm you were talking about earlier should have passed through by now. Is the situation still alright there? I hope everyone who couldn't return back into their houses were safe and sound during that storm.

@Simpli: Thaaanks!! <333

M i n u x e 10-07-2009 01:54 AM

Aww no one posted here all day. T_T
I won the Georgia Peach shirt (F) from the auctions so I am happy about that! Although I could have paid less for it, but I wanted to be safe and bid a high amount to protect myself from last second bidders.

On a sad note, I think I failed my physics term test. I suck at physics so it is no surprise that I struggled, but I would have liked to finish the test thinking I at least passed. >_>;;
I seriously hope I do not fail the entire course. It may actually happen. I am that bad at physics.

Rylynne 10-07-2009 10:44 AM

@ Minnie : It's not foolish, per se. xDD;; I just got used to buying commons from the Exchange from my time on Gaia. 8DD;; Plus, I'm cheap, and I'm in no real rush to buy all the commons anyway, so I just buy in the Exchange when I see some on there. =P Which thankfully isn't often, meaning I save more moolah, lolz. 8DD;;

And really? =O I like Physics more than Chemistry, that's for sure. xDDDD;;

And ohh, that's good to hear then! =O At least none of them were seriously hurt then. :> <3<3

Also, yeah, it's gone, but it might come back because another nearby storm is passing beside not (not hitting us), but it's pulling said storm back again because it's VERY strong. >.<;; </3

M i n u x e 10-07-2009 08:05 PM

Ah I see. It is the best thing to do if you are in no rush to get certain commons.
Your current outfit is REALLY cute by the way! <333

Wow you do. After writing the term test I hate physics so much. There is a good chance I might just drop the subject. It's not like I must be taking physics and my life will be screwed up if I don't take it. My life will be more screwed up if I fail physics and my GPA is lowered by a lot.
Do you remember any kinematics stuff? Like kinematics in two dimensions? If so I can tell you what my term test long answer question was. It involves very little physics, you just need to identify what type of motion it is undergoing and what kinematics equations you should use.

Woah I never knew that strong storms could pull weaker storms that are away from the area back in! That is so insane. ><;;
I really hope it doesn't happen. What area is this strong storm going over?

I am extremely thankful that all my relatives are alright. It is such a great blessing. <333

Rylynne 10-10-2009 01:41 AM

Aww, thank you very much for the compliment! :> <3<3

And oohh, you wanna drop it? =O I would only suggest that as a last resort though. @[email protected];; But, maybe only if you were studying here, since dropping any subject here causes you to be ineligible for the higher honors when you graduate. xDD;; But I dunno about how it goes there for you guys. =P

And no, I don't remember anything, sorry. D: Last time I even touched Physics was senior year in high school, and, like, I'm in second year college now. xDDD;; I wish I could help though! :x

And yeah, neither did I. o_o;; But apparently they can? xDD;;
And it won't go over Manila again, thankfully. @[email protected];; But yeah. DX
And I'm happy for you then~ :3

M i n u x e 10-10-2009 05:15 AM

There is no consequence like that here. In my university they actually expect lots of people to drop big courses like physics, calculus and biology. They accept lots of students into the program knowing that more than half of those students won't graduate from the program.
I seriously can't think in the way I need to for physics so dropping it would help me in the long run.

Ah don't worry. My dad is a genius at physics, it's just that I can't obviously constantly get help from him when I am in university. Plus I haven't developed the logical way of thinking so even if he shows me the answer to the question I can't use that concept and apply it to a different question since I can't see the relationship between the two.

Thank goodness it won't go over Manila. That would just be too much to bear in certain areas.
Thanks and I am happy that you and your friends and family are doing well. <333

Seito 10-10-2009 07:05 AM

*stabs the thread in a bloody manner* >3

Rylynne 10-10-2009 08:35 AM

Lolz, dropping is also "encouraged" of sorts over here... xDD;; But I dunno, we're resilient folk? ^^;; Some professors here are IMPOSSIBLE, and some of the subjects are just too demanding. >.<;;

And lolz, you could always get him to explain it to you in full? xDD;; That's what I used to do with my dad, who's a Math genius. =P Although since I no longer require Math subjects, I don't need his help for that anymore. xDD;;

It's REALLY bad in some places though. ;~;
Like, where the typhoon backtracked to, it's still flooded and windy and all that. :x It's so sad. D:

Also, Seisei, you're alive! =O
xDD;;
<3<3

M i n u x e 10-14-2009 12:14 AM

Yay! My thread has been stabbed in a bloody manner.
*watches it bleed*
That must be why it was dead for the 3 days. xD

@Rylynne: Ah so you guys just fight it through. I know tons of physics students who know they terribly failed the test and are still sticking with it. The arguments for sticking with physics would be that you can still learn new things and they bell curve tests with low scores so you won't get SUCH a low mark. Plus there are other small assignments to help boost your mark, but they are only worth a small small fraction compared to the tests.

Ya he explains me the concepts behind how he solved it but it doesn't mean I suddenly fully understand that concept and now can mold it to apply to a huge variety of questions that seem unrelated at first. I am not nearly good enough at physics to even do that. ><
O your dad is a math genius, cool. Math and physics are extremely closely related so he must be amazing at physics as well.
I wish being smart at math and physics was hereditary. T_T

Aww, I have seen some images of heavily flooded areas in Manila on the news. It is really really bad! I know that the Filipino community here is working very hard on getting donations of food, clothes, toiletries and household items to Manila.

Rylynne 10-14-2009 11:34 AM

I'm a fighter. xDD;; But that's probably because I'm more stubborn than anything else. ^^;; Plus, the process of dropping a subject and then trying to make up for it is too taxing for a lazy person like me. 8DD;;

And LOLZ, I wish it was hereditary too. ;~;
Then again, my brother is a math genius too, so maybe it COULD be hereditary? >.>;; I got a small portion of the genius then, I think, since I can cope with it well enough without concentrating too much on it. xDD;; But GUH, that's only in my dreams~ 8DD;;

And aww, that's sweet of you guys then! =O
Yeah, it's been really bad. >.<;; It's still hard to imagine, actually, till you drive past the aftermath and it dawns on you that all those massive floods that are supposedly only in the movies actually happened. :x

M i n u x e 10-31-2009 12:57 AM

Holy shit it's been half a month since I've posted in here!! D:
*hugs my thread* I must pay more attention to you. <3333

@Rylynne: Ah I see, it's great to be stubborn about your course. I hope the half credit course I chose to make up for dropping physics isn't hard! If it is I will be extremely regretful about dropping physics. T_T
Ah wow I see. Guess it is hereditary in your family because I bet if you had more of an interest in math you would be great in it as well. That is assuming your brother has an interest in math. Both my sister and I aren't good at math.

Ya the Filipino community here did a lot! Wow so crazy to see extreme things actually happen to you.

Rylynne 10-31-2009 02:49 AM

Ohh, so you ended up dropping it? =O I wish you luck with that new half credit course you took instead then! <3<3

And maybe... >.>;; I like being not that interested in Math though. xDD;; I prefer the arts waayy more. =P And yes, my brother does have an interest in Math. ^^ He's working towards Computer Sciences in the future. :3 <3<3

Yeah, it really was crazy. @[email protected];; It's so unbelievable. Totally changed the way we viewed typhoons. ^^;;

Wendy Darling 11-01-2009 05:10 PM

*Snuggles up to Min's thread*

I've been just as scarce only because I've been busy with school and such. It likes to kill us, being in college, ne? D:

*Snugs* I hope you're doing okay though. <333 And that you're partaking in the event some like I am.

Rylynne 11-02-2009 05:15 AM

Hihi there, Wendy! :'D <3<3
Long time no see and chat! =O

M i n u x e 11-09-2009 04:46 PM

Yay for not coming in here during the event. ;________;

@Wendy: Yay, snuggling!
Yes college kills with all its endless work.
I was really thrilled that I got 4 sets from the event, I only thought I would get 2. Since the event was extended for practically 2 more hours I was extremely active for those 2 hours and got soo much stuff.
Sadly I didn't run into you during the event. ><;;

@Rylynne: Thanks! I am so unsure of it since I'm pretty sure it's a new course.
O I see. The Arts are fun and interesting things. Although I have a friend going to an art college and all the assignments there are killing him.

For sure, especially since people don't really think things that bad will actually happen. At least now you guys are more prepared.

Rylynne 11-10-2009 02:05 PM

LOLZ, no worries, you weren't alone in abandoning all other threads outside the event. xDD;; <3<3

Hmm, you should say positive though! =O Do you have someone you know in the same class? That always makes things easier for me, especially if it's a close friend. xDD;; <3<3

And yeah, the arts is stressful. =\ Which is why I'm only taking something half artsy. 8DD;; I can never be a full time art student, definitely. @[email protected];;

And yeah, that's one of the benefits, I guess~ =) <3<3

M i n u x e 11-10-2009 10:26 PM

Ya didn't expect I would be, most people focus all their attention on the event forum.

Ya I will, because it's not some math-y course. xD
Well I have no idea who took it, but everyone I mentioned it to has no idea it existed.

Ah I see, a bit of art is nice. I only take 1 history course at a time and I think that's why I love it so much. I predict that if I suddenly took all history courses I would dislike it.

Rylynne 11-11-2009 04:02 PM

True~ xDD;; I went back and posted here a bit though, because it still earned me currency and it was easier to keep up with threads outside the event forum. xDD;; <3<3

And LOLZ, good job then! XP
And hmm... =\ Interesting? To be honest I'm always wary of newer courses/subjects because I hate feeling like the guinea pig where they make all the mistakes during our batch of students and all that. xDD;; I hope that doesn't happen to you though. =O <3<3

And ohh, I see your point~ =O <3<3
History interests me, but only if it's taught in an interesting manner. xDD;; I'm very picky like that. >.>;; </3

M i n u x e 11-11-2009 04:57 PM

Ya I like how posting anywhere in Mene gives you event currency. The problem with posting here is that you would pretty much never get a reply so your post would just sit there until the event ended. D:

Ahh true, I hope they don't try a bunch of new things with us. It would also suck because any of the course material we need we would have to buy brand new because we are the first class ever. I hope there are more positive surprises than negative ones in the course.

Hahah I see your point completely. If history is taught by the teacher just telling you what pages to read in a textbook you will hate it so much. History is fun when they take major points about an ancient civilization and present them to you through stories. My prof likes telling funny and often inappropriate stories to us. xD
