At the moment The Office but earlier it was The Daily Show with John Stewart and Dollhouse.

I hope your kitty didn't scratch you up to much. *hand you a band aid*

I adore books as well. I'm currently reading Frankenstien. What book are you on at the moment?

Iltu 03-08-2009 01:22 AM

Ahaha, The Daily Show is wonderful. <3

Thanks! It's not too bad, he was just being a bit of a booger.

How are you liking it? I myself and reading The Alchemyst, a friend of mine has been bugging me to read it for the longest time.

smolder 03-08-2009 01:47 AM

I'm quite enjoying it. The Alchemyst though, huh? Is that fantasy?

Iltu 03-08-2009 01:49 AM

It is. Fantasy is by far my favorite genre- I dabble everwhere when it comes to books, really, but fantasy holds my heart. What are your favorite kind of books?

smolder 03-08-2009 02:01 AM

Oh, fantasy is my favorite genre by far as well. You ever read Mercedes Lackey?

Iltu 03-08-2009 02:08 AM

No, but I have heard only amazing things about her. Which books of hers do you reccomend?

smolder 03-08-2009 02:19 AM

Her Valdamar Universe is simply wonderful and what I would reccomend above anything else, it starts with Arrows of the Queen, I believe. But if you want to start off with just a single novel to test out her writing style I would read Firebird, which is based loosely off some Russian fairytales and is quite fun.

Iltu 03-08-2009 03:02 PM

Alright, thank-you for your reccomendations! I will look into those.

Fabby 03-08-2009 03:34 PM

Oh my god, the thread... it MOVED.

So I'm a bit disturbed that I woke up this morning and my laptop was really hot even though it had just been idling all night. (And why didn't it go into sleep mode?)

smolder 03-08-2009 11:02 PM

Because it hates you, naturally, Fabby. *nods seriously*

Thats actually my response to people about alot of things. XD

Fabby 03-08-2009 11:04 PM

Pebbles!? But... I take such good care of her... D:
How can she hate me?

I'm heartbroken now.

smolder 03-09-2009 02:38 PM

There, there Fabby. *pats you on the back* If it makes you feel better the cell phone that I've held on to for 5 years broke yesterday.

Fabby 03-09-2009 03:14 PM

Oh dear D: I'm sorry.
If it's any consolation, you're the best cellphone owner I've ever known.

Seriously. Everyone I know breaks/loses/gets tired of their cellphone after about a week. -doesn't see the point in a fancy shmancy iPhone thingamajig-

smolder 03-09-2009 04:26 PM

My sister has killed hers twice by talking outside while it was raining. My uncle has run over three seperate cell phones I believe. I think I'm the only one in my family who has never needed a new phone. Until now, le sigh. It was funny because yesterday my sister tried to send me a picture she took with her phone and my phone is to old to recieve it. XD I shall miss the poor old thing.

I don't see the point in the iPhones either. I don't even like texting. I find it exteremly annoying, if someone wants to talk to me they should call.

Fabby 03-09-2009 05:03 PM

My mother has this habit of getting a new phone, then killing it five minutes later. Most recently she walked into a pool with her phone in her pocket.

I've needed to replace my phone a few times. My first phone was a godawful model, and I actually went through two of them in a year because they would break for no good reason. My third phone I finally had to put to rest after two years because it hardly worked anymore. But hey, I try.

I prefer texting, actually. If someone texts me, I have the option of avoiding the conversation. I can't do that if they call me. I actually really hate talking on the phone >_>

smolder 03-09-2009 05:30 PM

I just hate having to write it all out. It takes me forever. Thats one way the new phones are pretty neat, the whole keyboard thing.

Fabby 03-09-2009 05:38 PM

I wouldn't mind one of those QWERTY phone things. xD
But the touch-screen keyboard looks like a headache.

smolder 03-09-2009 07:50 PM

QWERTY? I have no idea what that is.

Fabby 03-09-2009 09:34 PM

The phones with the full keyboards.
My boyfriend's sister has one. She still texts with the number pad, though. O_o

smolder 03-09-2009 09:57 PM

That baffles me, if you have a keyboard why would you go through the trouble of using the number pad?

Fabby 03-09-2009 10:08 PM

That's what I've always wondered.
Why would you spend $200 on a phone with a keyboard to not use it? It's like buying an iPod to play brick on.

smolder 03-09-2009 10:13 PM

* doesn't know what else to say *

I like your dragon.

Fabby 03-09-2009 10:15 PM

-pats him- Thank you.
I like your pinwheel doodad. It is pinwheely.

smolder 03-09-2009 10:50 PM

*nods* It is very pinwheely

.............*twiddles thumbs*

Fabby 03-09-2009 10:55 PM
