I'm doing wonderful actually. I'm having surgery on my jaw tomorrow and I'm super nervous. =O

Ummm...my jaw is jetted out further than what it's supposed to be. =/ No surgeries at all?! O wow. I had quite a few. I just had foot surgery a year and a half ago. It was miserable because I was on crutches for a fairly long time.

Aww. And I don't quite understand the thing about your jaw. Like, is this cosmetic based surgery where you were born with the "jetted out" jaw and want it fixed, or is it the result of something happening?

And nope, no surgery. I'm eighteen and none. xD Well, I do technically need oral surgery next Thursday. It's called oral surgery but I'm getting teeth pulled and such. I have two in the front that broke off in my gum so I think they'll have to cut into my gum to remove it which means I'll be really uncomfortable with stitches in my mouth. ._.

I'm not going to be sedated either, I'll be awake. x.x

Well it's kind of cosmetic, but it bothers me sometimes. Like I can't chew gum long like everyone else can. I can't chew with my mouth closed without it hurting. I sleep with my mouth open (yes, I drool sometimes). It's just with it being a big time over bite it makes some things are for me. When I was growing it grew like that. It's like my foot. Two bones were connected in my foot that weren't supposed to be connected, but as I grew they grew that way so I had to have surgery to fix it. That's how my jaw is. But this surgery will change the way I look a bit too.

That's kind of nasty and sounds really painful. So you've never had your wisdom teeth out?

No, I haven't had my wisdom teeth out, least not yet. We've decided to let them come in and see if they cause a problem or not. *shrugs* Otherwise they'd have to cut right into my gums and bone to remove them cause they're not in yet.

As for being awake, it's because it's less risky without putting me asleep with anesthia. They're just going to numb the shit outta me with the novacaine needle. I actually REALLY like needles so my dentist is happy that it can be worked out this simply. xP I'm kinda worried about how things will go though because of the teeth that they can't just pull. ._.

Yeah you might want to wait to get them out then.

Oooo that kind of freaks me out. I hate needles. And even if I was numb, I would still tense up and freak out. Seriously goodluck with that. You have to tell me how that goes. BUT OMG they are going to cut into your mouth while you're awake. That is totally crazy. I don't think I would ever make a good dentists. My friend had a root canal and she just turned 16 in june, but she had it when she was like 13 or 14. I don't remember. =O

I've had LOTS of dental work throughout my life. I've always just used the novacaine needle thing. My dentists always loved me because I was better than most of their adult patients. My first trip to the dentist when I was little, I almost fell asleep in the chair and wanted to go back right away. >.>

I'm an odd one. xD Alot of the teeth that need to be removed are from way back when I was really young and had to be filled. The fillings started to split some of my teeth down the middle and a couple root canals I had shattered because the moronic dentist didn't complete them. >< It's all quite stupid really. ^^;;

My entire family thinks I'm nuts with this kinda stuff. I have no problem with shots and medical proceedures like that too. I like having my blood drawn and getting IVs. >.> Heehee. ^___^ xP

Well that's good. Barely anyone likes the dentists. I don't mind them, but I don't like needles. =/

Do you donate blood then? My dad doesnt mind needles either so he donates his blood.
