A secret admirer? :o
IT'S BEEN FOREVER~
Today I had a dozen roses delivered to my door. I was surprised and delighted, darlings. <3 The contents of the envelope, however, only read "~A.T." I've got no other leads at all. :gonk: We're talking an $80 present and I've no idea who might have sent it. Some people do crazy things when they're in love, I guess~ I know I've done similar things as well. How about you? What's the grandest romantic gesture you've ever given or received? How do you act when you have a crush on someone? Or, do you have any romantic fantasies/daydreams? Oh - and, on a semi-related note, do you kiss with your eyes open? |
*shrugs* I dunno ^_^; Best I got was a necklace.. I wear it everyday :heart: But I actually knew who it was from :lol:

I've never had something like that before. The "love"-related type things are very...dull for me. Twice of all those times the confession came online so that's pretty...sad? xD I guess it'd be this complicated set-up my friends came up with in order to help someone ask me out. A really long story, let's just say it involved cell-phone swaps, contact edits, two ferris wheels, and a rollercoaster. I'm not even kidding. <3 |

Ugh, I'm so jealous. xP I wish my husband knew how to be romantic at all. He fails, really hard in the romance department. Partially because I've never been too fond of romance, at least outwardly. Inwardly I want a fairytale relationship like many of the romantic comedies. Haha. However, I once had a boyfriend buy me a dozen red roses. But it was more awkward than romantic because we'd been dating a week when he told me he loved me. I was maybe fifteen at the time and yeah.
That's a bit of a tangent... Anyway, the most romantic thing my husband's done for doesn't really exist. He tries to get me gifts and stuff but when he presents them he's ridic. and it totally loses any real romance feeling. And before that I've never attracted any romantic men. I kiss with my eyes closed. |

I think those cute little romantic guestures are awesome. I love when I hear about stuff like this. I however have never gotten a present before. From friends and some family yes, but never a lover or admirer. T_T The sadness.

I've never gotten a gift or a romantic gesture from anyone.
When I have a crush on someone, I tend to get a bit more agitated than usual if someone interrupts a conversation between us. I try to be a bit more helpful to that person and usually smile ALOT more than usual. I sometime imagine meeting someone tall enough that I can tuck my head under their chin perfectly and comfortably when they hug me. Wierd, I know, but that image just seems so nice; I wish it would happen in real life. A nice-looking guy just come up and hug me. |
I've been given rather expensive earrings before, not sure if that counts coz I saw who was giving them to me and I think we're just friends. O,o Meh. Don't really have a kissing preference. xDD |
Aside from my boyfriend, I'm pretty sure only one other guy has ever liked me. XD And he likes basically anything has boobs and moves, so that's not saying much. XD
And my boyfriend lives far away and can't send packages, so no gifts. He was able to send me a letter once, though. It was very nice. :) EDIT: Oh yeah, and about how I act when I like someone.... Well, I've been with my boyfriend for a little over two years now, and I didn't have any huge crushes on anyone else before we got together, so my memory of having crushes a bit foggy. XD But I do recall being a bit... stupid. >.< I smiled too much, laughed too much, put myself near the guy too much, basically bugged the shit out of him. XD I never acted like that with any of my other crushes, though. Just that one guy. The others were more casual. I'd tease them a bit more, joke around with them, talk to them a lot. But it was subtle, because that's how I act with all my guy friends. |

I don't think I have ever had a secret admirer, tho I have done some admiring. I did one time get a ring for my ex right after that he doped me U.u;

Back in my highschooling days, on Valentines Day someone slipped a box of chocolates with a message on it into my backpack.
Never found out who it was though. A cute gester no less. |
I know there's some old adage that you should dump someone who kisses with their eyes open, 'cause that means they don't trust you or they're not really interested. Which, I mean, if they're looking at something behind you then... yeah, I'd be a little ticked.
But kissing with eyes locked can be really intense. @[email protected] The girlfriend I had before the last would do that, especially when she was being, um, aggressive. |
Secret admirer eh? I haven't heard of it in a while. That's a sweet gift though. Are you sure it's not from another family member? I mean, I know that sounds silly, but I don't know. I'd be confused if I were you too lol.

My husband pretty much is the most unromantic guy ever. It's not often that he does anything romantic for me. There was this one time he went out and bought me chocolates because I was having a bad day, but other than that there hasn't been much.
It's mainly because he tried being romantic by writing me a poem and trying to set up a candle lit dinner and he go me roses before we were married. I laughed because it was cute and he took it the wrong way and got all embarrassed. I explained to him that it was very sweet and I did like it, but he hasn't tried doing anything major since then and that was about seven years ago. |

I have never crushed on someone so I don't know how I act then but I think I would be more shy than usually and it would take me a lot of courage to go up and talk with him. That is, if I haven't befriended him before. And I haven't gotten any romantic presents, too( :( ). But I still have whole life ahead of me! *overly optimistic thinking* x3 So, I can't reply about the kissing, too. ^^ |
