Stupid computer *Kick*
My computer has 4 USBdrivethings. Two of them work, the ones in the back of the computer, so if I want to use them, I have to crawl behind my computer, in the dustsea. Well, I'd rather not.
I also have two in the front. But they only work in their own time >< So either I have to push the usbstick/wire down, the whole time, which gives me feetcramps, or I have to be lucky. I never am lucky. I hate this thing about my computer. Discuss; Do you have weird things in your computer, or things that just annoy you? Computerstuff. |
Hah, my comp has 8 of them. Nothing wrong with any of them either ;] My comp does act retarded sometimes for no reaosn though. I'll be getting the hard drive cleaned soon thank goodness.

I have a laptop.
But the USB ports in the back don't work. So, if I need to plug in more than 2 things (mouse included), I have to go find the USB hub that's behind my mother's dust pile...i mean computer. |
I love my computer  it works perfectly and plays all my favorite games for me 8)
I just need a new driver and more space for it.. USUALLY if your computer doesn't work, it's your own fault. |
My iMac is working wonderfully. My old computer, however, has a trojan (my mom clicked on an ad or something) that's proved to be very difficult to remove, and for some reason, it crashes if you leave it on for five or six hours.

I have a similar issue with my computer. It has four USB ports, but all in the back. This was fine, until i had my new desk, where the processor is on the floor. I have an epic crawl to get there too. When i do get there, there's no garentee of anything working, because depending on what is plugged into each one, they sometimes won't work.
It's a pain. In all other respects my computers fine though. |
I spend roughly 90% of my free time on a computer. I'm always either online, or writing, or writing online, or playing a game to relieve stress, or SOMETHING like that. It's been like this for years, and I've been on many, many computers. And only two have ever given me any problems.
One was the first computer I had in my room. I had trouble with that one ever since I installed my antivirus software...because, ironically enough, the installation CD my dad burned had a virus! So before my computer was even connected to the internet, my antivirus program was lighting up like a Christmas tree. It took THREE DAYS to get the virus off...and it never really worked right from that point forward. Supposedly, it wasn't even a really bad virus either. My computer just...wasn't anywhere near ready. The other one that gives me trouble is my laptop. It's currently out of service, actually...e_e That one has hardware issues. It was really cheaply built. Two USB ports are dead from normal use, and the keyboard is falling apart, also from normal use. I've gotten BSOD'd for hardware failures about a million times, often at critical times...and my CD/DVD drive has fallen out a few times. To make matters worse, that one uses Windows XP. Which is the most unstable piece of shit it has ever been my misfortune to try. For the most part, I know how to take care of a computer, and if I ever have trouble, I go to my dad. But some things...simply cannot be helped. >.<; |
I'm going to move this thread to the Computers and Video Games sub-forum, which can be found in the Media forum as it would be better suited there than the General Discussion forum.
Please pm me if you have any questions regarding the moving of this thread. |
