Lucy smiled as he saw his brother in the kitchen, cooking pancakes of some kind."'Morning, Nero.Oooh, making pancakes?Good!Alec gets to try more fo your cooking." He laughed.

Nero laughed lightly."I guess so.Don't worry, Alec, they're just berry pancakes.Kyrie loves them, so you should too..I made these for him his first morning with us."

Alec tilted his head to one side watching as Nero cooked. How strange…well maybe not so much, it was just that he wasn’t use to watching anyone cook, much less cooking himself. His food selection in the past had not been very wide. “Okay,” he said lightly.

"You can go on and sit down on the couch with Kyrie, Alec.I'm not doing anything very exciting." Nero laughed, turning to look at Alec.

Alec smiled faintly and turned to go sit on the couch with Kyrie, though he had found it interesting to watch Nero cook. But he thought maybe it would be a little rude for him to stand there and watch, that and he could end up getting in the way.

Kyrie looked over the couch arm and smiled at Alec."Good morning, Alec." He giggled, waving to Alec."Did you sleep okay?"

“Good morning,” said Alec not sure just how good it really was, after all he was still stuck in hell so this obviously wasn’t a bad dream or anything like that. “Yeah, I slept fine.”

"Just curious, did Lucy hug you really tightly?I'm wondering if he does that too, since Nero does and they're nearly exact twins." Kyrie laughed."It would be funny if their oddly cute sleeping habits are the same, too."

Alec could feel as the tips of his ears turned slightly red at the question about Lucy hugging him while he slept. “Yes, well if wasn’t too tight, but you know…” Alec shrugged slightly.

"Ah..He must be much gentler than Nero, then..Your lucky." Kyrie giggled."Just hope he's not just a gentle hugger..Don't want you going through the same thing I did when I lost my innocence.."

Lucky? There didn’t seem anything lucky about this whole predicament, though perhaps as Kyrie said he was lucky to have to deal with Lucy over Nero. He still didn’t like all this talk of loosing his innocence, it frightened him to no end, mostly because he didn’t know what to expect. He merely nodded in response to Kyrie’s words.

Kyrie blushed."Don't worry..Even with Nero, it feels pretty good..I guess Lust is just about the best feeling sin you can commit, if you must fall..Trust me, I went out there before I fell, and it's terrible..At least I had Nero to protect me..Some demons are very violent, but most are okay..Some, like Bruno and the twins, are really nice..Except for the whole kidnapping thing."

Alec nodded his head lightly as he listened to Kyrie. He didn’t want to fall but it didn’t seem like he had much of a choice anymore. He sighed slightly and brought his knees up so he could hug them. He laughed slightly at Kyrie’s last handful of words. “If you say so.”

"Bruno's nice to angels, too.I've been near him before he fell, and he was pretty friendly..Demons are completely unpredictable..They CAN love, even the violent, mean ones..It's just most don't like to show it." Kyrie giggled."They're shy about it."

“Shy?” Alec asked completely disbelieving that, it was more like they were too prideful to admit it. “I don’t like unpredictable.”

"It's definately more exciting down here, that's for sure.." Kyrie laughed."You don't know what's going to happen next..I say that that's a nice change of pace."

“Thrilling really,” said Alec a bit sarcastically before he realized it and slapped his hands over his mouth horrified. “I’m sorry,” he said after a moment, “I didn’t mean for it to sound like that. I guess I’m just stressed. I’m not used to things being unpredictable.”

"It's alright." Kyrie smiled cutely."I was the same, a couple of months ago..It'll be alright. Alec.This is our home now.And it may be strange..But it's actually not half bad."

Alec nodded his head lightly, though he wasn’t sure just how much be believed Kyrie’s words. He really wanted to disbelieve everything that he said but he knew most in not all of it was true. If Kyrie could come to like it here then he shouldn’t have too much of a problem then, or so he hoped.

"I mean, it's not GREAT, I'd like to go home..But it's not half bad..You get used to the weird things, and the heat..It's not too horrible to want to run that badly..Nero and Lucy love us..A place without rules..Don't you think that's a nice change?" Kyrie said, hugging his knees up to his chest.

“I don’t know,” said Alec with a light shrug of his shoulders. He was so used to the structured environment that was heaven that it seemed so odd to be in a place that had no rules. He sighed slightly placing his head on his knees.

"Alright, little angels, here's your breakfast!" Nero said as he walked in with two plates of mixed berry pancakes, set them down on a nearby table and set up two small tables in front of the two angels and set their plates on them, along with two glasses of milk and tiny cups filled with strawberry syrup, for them to put on their pancakes.

Kyrie let his legs slide back off of the couch and he smiled."Thank you, Nero!"

Alec nodded his head in thanks to Nero, and then tilted it to one side looking at the pancakes. Truth be told he’d never had a pancake before and he wasn’t sure what to make of it.

Kyrie spread the syrup onto his pancakes and began eating."Also, it's hard to run from Nero's cooking, even if you want to go home..You've never had pancakes before, have you? you just put the syrup that's in that little cup onto them, then you use your fork to cut a piece out of it, then you eat it.Repeat the last two steps, not that hard."

Alec shook his head in response to Kyrie’s question, he didn’t cook and no one had ever cooked for him so there were a lot of things Alec had never had. Alec couldn’t help but laugh a little at Kyrie’s explanation, it was rather amusing. “Okay,” he said lightly as he poured the syrup over the pancakes then cut a piece out of them with his fork and took a tentive bite.

"Pretty good, huh? Nero cooks everything really well." Kyrie giggled.

Lucy sat down beside Alec, and laughed."Yeah, but there are SOME things he doesn't make things too well, like that one time he tried to make meatloaf WITHOUT eggs..Because it was always me who made it, so he forgot the recipe.."

Nero sat beside Kyrie and rolled his eyes."Oh, shut up about that already, that was two months ago."
