Kasai looked over at Matt. "Yes, you do have a challenger. I'm Kasai Hana, of the Cinder Town Gym, and I challenge you to a battle for the Victory Badge!" she declared with a smile. Her Eeveelutions echoed her declaration with their own barks and growls. ((Btw, I can't remember now... Does your character specialize in any specific type, fried?)) |

"Ugh, we'll finish this battle later. Let's battle now Mira," Scott said. "Okay then. Here are the rules now, 4 pokemon each((To keep it short xD)) and a double or tag team battle," Matt said coolly. Gengar appeared with a bucket of ice water and dumped it onto haos head, which lead him to spout out several strings of profanities.
Mira stared in shock at hao and then tackled him. "Papa! Daijobu!?" "I'm fine." Hao assured her, patting her back. "Now...what day is it again?" |

Hao looked around until he got dizzy and just held his head.
"This is why psychic pokemon are such a bother." He whined "They don't admit it, but they like to cause trouble just as much as ghost pokemon." Gengar laughed at that and spun around his master. |
Astrey smirked walking back to Lirane's side. "I don't deny it, besides itsn't it fun Genger?" the sliverish purple pokemon winked at the ghost type.

Kasai grinned. "Vaporeon, use Hydro Pump on Magmortar! Jolteon, Thunder!"
A powerful jet of water shot out of Vaporeon's mouth, headed directly for the Fire Pokemon, and electricity built in Jolteon's spiky fur. A moment later, a huge lightning bolt struck the Empoleon, hopefully knocking it out in one hit. |
So very predictable this trainer was. At the very beginning Magmortar and Empolean used substitute on each other so that the water type attack only did half the damage on Empolean and the Thunder did not deal much damage to Magmortar."Empolean use aqua jet with a spin then ice beam. Magmortar help him out with a leer then a solar beam now," Matt commanded.

Vaporeon and Jolteon split up, dodging to each side, easily avoiding the attacks due to their superior agility.
"Vaporeon, use Surf! Then Jolteon, use Thunder again!" Kasai yelled, and Vaporeon planted its paws firmly on the ground, bracing itself. A large wave came out of nowhere to soak Magmortar and Empoleon. Jolteon barked and leapt in front of Vaporeon, crackling with electricity again. The yellow-furred Eeveelution landed in a couple of inches of water and crouched. As soon as Vaporeon had gotten out of contact with the water, Jolteon barked again as another lightning bolt hurtled down towards the battlefield. This time, however, it wasn't aimed at a specific Pokemon. The lightning bolt struck the water... ((I had to go back and edit my previous post slightly, fried, in case you didn't notice... xD "Water Blast" is NOT an attack that actually exists... *sweatdrop* So Vaporeon used Hydro Pump instead. Lol)) |

"Then Magmortar use a solar beam and Empolean use water pulse with the solar beam to make a combo move of ULTIMATE SOLAR PULSE((A combination move. With the water pulse Solar beam's range is increased by 10 folds and also is strengthened by 5 folds as well.))," Matt commanded. "No, thanks but if you want you may challenge me at my gym if you would like. Well, I'm off now," Scott said. Scott left and traveled back to his gym. |
((Huh?? Never heard of that... Doesn't really make much sense, if you ask me... Cuz Solar Beam is a Grass type move, and Water Pulse is Water type. Water is weak to Grass... *sweatdrop* Besides, it feels like both my battles so far are rigged, so to speak... =/))
Kasai's eyes widened. "Dodge it, you guys!" she yelled, and her Pokemon yelped and scrambled to get out of the way. Vaporeon was grazed by the attack and yelped loudly before falling to the ground, swirly-eyed. "Dammit... Vaporeon, c'mon back!" She recalled Vaporeon and tucked the Pokeball away. "Espeon, let's go! Use Confusion on both of them!" Espeon leaped forward as its purple eyes glowed eerily. A faint purple glow surrounded its body and grew to envelope Magmortar and Empoleon. |
