"Okay." Tor finished tying the rope about herself. "We should also send up flares if we do feel we need to separate and we get in trouble. Probably red." Tor stood by the lake and waited for Chloe to agree before jumping in.

Chloe agreed with Tor's statement and jumped into the lake at the same time as her.

She was amazed to find that, unlike the portal from Hogwarts to the lake place, this portal was like a tube that sucked them through it to the next world.

It was making her a little dizzy, so Chloe decided to close her eyes and just enjoy the ride.

((Hmm....what kind of world should we go to? ))

((Some place with blue grass. Really dark blue. I have an obsession with it in imaginary worlds. Other than that... a place where they'll need a shield. Maybe in some sort of challenge to get something?))

Tor tried to watch all the way, but she also became dizzy. She held on for a little longer and they shot out of the tube, into soft grass.
"Look at this. It's blue! Cobalt blue. Wow." Tor looked up, and saw two suns. One red and large, the other yellow and smaller. "I guess we should start moving."

Victoria nodded, "Yeah I used to have that problem. I trained and trained until I got complete control over my magic. Now I use the explosion as a surprise attack."

Alexis nodded, "Yeah. She was pretty scary...."

((That sucks. I was kidnapped by my friends yesterday.....^_^; ))

Chloe kissed the ground, being so happy that they were out of that portal tube, and rolled over to stare at the weird suns.

"It's so calm here," she yawned and stretched, "But, we should start exploring now like you said!"

Chloe got up and started walking through the weird grass. She saw a weird red patch ahead of them and went over to investigate. Scooping some of the weird red sand into a vial, for testing later, Chloe was going to head back over to Tor when something grabbed her.

Chloe looked down and saw that it was a tan colored tentacle type thing and it had come from beneath the red sand.

"What the!" she could only exclaim as the tentacle gave birth to some weird creature that looked like a squid, but had a glowing blue dot on its head. Chloe's mouth dropped in surprise at the weird creature and her body froze with shock.

((That's okay. I've been busy lately too.))

"Let's back away slowly...it might be poisonous." Tor began following her own advice. She backed up to what she hoped was a safe distance. "Okay, now what way should we go to avoid those things?"

Chloe remembered her new power and turned into a bird. She flew over to Tor and reappeared as herself just in time to hear Tor's question.

"Well, it seems that they live in those masses of red sand," Chloe replied logically, "So, if we avoid those, we shouldn't run into that ugly thing again or any of its gross family members."

((Looks like Pengu-Chan has been busy as well.....))

"Thank goodness. If we want to explore over there later I suppose you could fly over and see. Lets head off this way, shall we?" Tor asked.

"Oh i see...but that's because your a crystalline, right? By the way i think that is beyond amazing. Well I'm nowhere near that, so i think this training may be different than the training that you went through." *starts to glow, but it could be a trick of the light. Who knows*

((Its OK. I got food poisoning from my roomie's undercooked chicken so I was "hugging the porcelain throne" for two days straight.... Yeah. I wasn't on at all on Sunday or Monday.))

Victoria sighed, "Crystalline is the most difficult aura to train.... But that doesn't mean that we can't try to train you.... My Uncle trained me and then I trained Alexis."

Alexis nodded, "Yeah. I was pretty hopeless with a wand until Victoria helped me out...."

Victoria just shook her head, "He was fine. He just had issues pronouncing the spells when he was tired from the full moon."

[[oo....your okay now right? that sounds icky O_o sorry i cant really find a word for this situation XD]]

"I see..." *looks at feet*

((Icky sounds about right....))

Victoria looked over at Kazuko in concern, "What's wrong?"

Alexis put his hand on her shoulder.

"Ah nothing really." *sweatdrops* "Just...im not completely sure of my situation. Why did i come here so late? Why do i have this strange aura? just why?..." *pouts and sinks in the roots of a tree*

"I just have bits and pieces of it and i just cant put them together."

"Is there something you can't remember?" Victoria asked.

"Maybe your parents wanted to keep you home longer....." Alexis suggested.


((Reading always helps with that, but you probably get enough of that in school....))

"Alright, you lead the way Tor," Chloe looked back at the red mass of sand with a frown, "Apparently I'm not very good with directions and tend to find unlucky things."

She laughed it off before following Tor, "Anyway, I'm lucky I was able to get away. I haven't quite figured out how to control this new power yet."

"No, i have a full memory of everything. It's just that...i just find it strange that i came here this late. That's all, and the Headmaster told me the power with in me is a very curious one to wonder about. Then i think that he thinks that cause mabye of my three eye, or the other telepathic abilities that i have. Im just twisting and turning in my thoughts really." *sighs, and looks up at Victoria and Alexis*

"Sorry for the monologue." *akward smile*

Victoria and Alexis hugged her.

"We don't know much about your powers but we'll do what we can," Victoria said.

"Yeah. We'll also have to keep Cadeyrn from sniffing around..... He likes to collect rare and powerful "objects"..... You do NOT want that guy curious about you," Alexis said, with an over protective big brother tone.

"Alright." Tor headed off in the direction she had pointed. Slightly in the distance was a lavender river. "Let's be careful if we cross that river. There could be dangerous creatures there too."

Wanders into the library to do some research. As she opens the door she notices that the library is almost completely empty. 'Good' she thinks to herself as she slips into the restricted zone.

"Right," Chloe agreed while looking for a way to cross it without having to touch the water.

She really wanted to take a sample of it, but Tor was right, they should avoid such dangerous territories.

"How about knocking over that tree over there with our magic?"

Bio: Exia was tried to be raised to hate anyone that wasn't Purebloods, but his personality made him so that he wouldn't care as much. "That'll work." Tors strong point was really spells, although potions intrigued her more, so she offered to do it. "Gladius!" She swished and stabbed, pointing at the tree. A giant sword appeared and slice the tree, causing it to fall across the river. "Sweet. I'm glad that worked out."
