After making up a story about how she unleashed a tarantula in the Professor's office while she was under the cloak, Chloe thought that the girl had believed it very well. The only problem now, is that she'd have to try and put that cloak to good use to sneak into Professor Twiddle's office and actually release a tarantula. She'd probably have to make a trip to the forbidden forest to find one first, but that place had never really scared her.

Today's divination lesson, for about the billionth time already this year, was tea leaf reading. Chloe and her pudgy faced fan girl both drank hastily so they could be on with it. She decided to let the other girl go first with her cup.

"Oh, how exciting!" The girl exclaimed as she looked at the cup with curious eyes, "It looks like we should be expecting some trouble from you today." Chloe sighed as she put her hand to her face. Of course there would be trouble from her today since it was basically an everyday event that she'd cause trouble. Apparently this girl didn't have the sight either, and was just trying to get Chloe's plan out of her.

She didn't say anything to her, and instead started to look at the other girl's cup.

"If you follow me, you will end up getting hurt," Chloe warned the girl, "It's all right here in your cup, so don't do anything stupid."

Torenda finished the translation, and listened to a brief history of how these runes were used to tell tales. Finally class was over and Torenda packed her bag and left. Now she could get some answers out of Chloe. Plus, her essay would definitely be finished after this. Oh, and it was almost time for their little lake adventure! Tor just hoped the danger was as little as she had assumed. The tiniest thread of worry awoke in her.

((Torenda wants to get answers from Torenda?!))

Victoria stretched and left the class after handing in her already completed essay. She looked around at the other students and sighed. Everyone seemed to be so much freer. Yes, her training has turned her into a world renowned duelist but at what cost? She had no childhood and has no life. Perhaps it was better this way. Less people to hurt her.

After class ended, Chloe knew that Tor would be looking for her, but she didn't want to be found just yet. She still had some business to attend to before they could go on their lake adventure. Therefore, she had dodged Tor easily and was now on her way to the forbidden forest.

Once she had walked to the place she needed to be, she called out with a warm voice, "Sephelia! Where are you my dear friend?"

"Who goes there?" a shrill voice came ringing out as a humongous black hairy spider came out of a hole in the ground.

"It's me, Chloe!" She smiled as the old queen of the spiders finally saw that it was her and all eight of her eyes turned warm as the smaller spiders backed off some.

"Chloe, my friend, what brings you out to see this old spider queen?" Chloe proceeded to tell Sephelia all about what she had done at Hogwarts with the invisibility cloak and how she needed to borrow a spider to put into Professor Twiddle's office.

"You are quite the trouble maker," Sephelia laughed at Chloe, "Your dad was the same way! Yes you may take one, but make sure that they come back alive."

On those final words the queen went back into her hole as all the smaller spiders clamored away but one. The one that stayed must have been a volunteer for this dangerous mission.

"Alright, to sneak you into the school, I'll have to miniaturize you. Just stay put in my pocket until I bring you out."

The spider seemed to understand and nodded before Chloe shrunk it and put it into her pocket.

She then proceeded to walk back to the castle to plan how she would accomplish this mission of hers.

((Oops, fixed now. I was a little tired when I did that. Also, I didn't know Chloe was on speaking terms with the spiders! That would have changed my view of the journey quite a bit.))

Torenda headed upstairs, and got out her paper. She finished writing it, then cleared up the mistakes and unclear language. She was a little exhausted after writing such a large paper, so she d3ecided to take a little nap. She left a note on her curtain, 'Chloe, wake me up at 4. I don't want to miss out.' Tor then sank into sleep, where she dreamed she was being chased underwater by things she couldn't turn around to see.

(( Haha I didn't either....I guess m characters just choose whatever they want to happen, but I'm sure that Chloe didn't want anyone to know that she was on speaking terms because others would be frightened of her. That's why she didn't push Tor into going into the forest with her XD Anyway I made Chloe up to be a shy and quiet girl and somehow she turned into a trouble maker....funny how characters change themselves!))

Chloe had snuck inside the castle and was now hiding outside Professor Twiddle's classroom. She enlarged the clone of the invisibility cloak and gulped in anticipation before putting it around her body.

"Please work," she chanted quietly in prayer, if this didn't work, than her plan would fail. She looked down to see that she was missing a body.

"Yes!" she exclaimed and then covered her mouth, making sure no one around heard. As quiet as a mouse, Chloe walked through the door and into Professor Twiddle's office. She had timed her visit just right so that he wasn't there, but was on his way back. She quickly enlarged the spider to it's normal size and told it not to actually hurt him before she left.

She ducked around the corner and watched as Professor Twiddle walked in.

"5...4...3...2...1-" Suddenly there was a scream, followed by a terrified Professor Twiddle running out the door and down the hall in panic. The spider came back out and Chloe thanked it before using a spell to send it back to Sephelia.

Looking at her wrist watch, Chloe saw that it was almost 4. She had to go find Tor so they could get on with tonight's adventure.

"Hey, Tor, Wake up!" Chloe had found Tor sleeping in her bed and was now trying to gently wake her up.

"Mmm? Oh, is it time?" Tor tugged on her clothes to straighten them. "So, we'll take it at the lake then. I was right in saying it was safe right? I just... I had a dream. But I'm probably just nervous. nevermind. Besides, I know I don't have "The sight"," Tor imitated the divination teacher's voice, a nasal drone. "I took it for a year, and failed at it quite badly. So, let's go."

"Don't worry, Tor," Chloe grinned at her friend, "The potion I made will turn us into mermaids and with that transformation, we'll also adopt their abilities. I'm sure we'll be fine."

Chloe walked down to her lab and poured the potion from her cauldron into two vials. She stoppered them both and gave one to Tor. She left in a hurry, eager to get to her adventure, but what she didn't know was that this adventure would be more dangerous than she expected.

"Have fun on your adventure, Chloe," the pudgy faced girl from Chloe's Divination class was hiding around the corner. She silently tucked a bottle of blue liquid back into her robe's pocket and chuckled as she walked back to her room.

((Oh no....what's going on?! Some evil girl did something to Chloe's potion XD I have no idea what will happen, this is interesting! ))

((I'm thinking of inventing a new character. A boyfriend who went through heck to finally get Victoria to trust him enough to talk to him let alone actually DATE him! I can handle more characters if anyone has any requests....))

Victoria snuck down from the library to wait for someone in the recently repaired room of requirements....

She actually had a bit of a smile playing on her face when she thought of the man she was meeting with. Victoria crept into the room of requirements, just barely missing Flitch along the way....

The room turned into a dueling hall with a fire place, a library, and a large sofa in front of the fire place that had a coffee table filled with hot tea and moist chocolate cakes.

She sat down with a book and patiently waited.....

(( haha my character's lab is the room of requirement as well XD hopefully they don't want to get in when the other is using it! ))

Tor walked down to the lakeside and drank the potion. "Bottoms up!" She drank the potion and began to change...

((I would write more, but I don't know what that girl did to it.))

Chloe drank down her vial as well and it was a good thing she was so close to the water because she started changing fast. Her fin developed first and it was golden in color. Then her fingers webbed and scales started to appear in various places on the rest of her body. She put a hand to her face to find that it was the same, which was a little weird since it was supposed to turn a little fish like, like the mermaids of the lake.

"Looks like this needs some testing first. Stay here until I get back."

Chloe didn't want Tor to get hurt, so she had decided to test it out and make sure that she could breathe under water. Once she had dived in, Chloe found that she didn't need to breathe and she could navigate easily, the potion was a success! She did a couple flips and swam to the bottom before swimming back up to tell Tor.

Chloe jumped out of the lake, trying to frighten Tor, when she saw something was wrong. She was not on Hogwarts land anymore, but instead she was in some sort of land covered by small lakes.

She tried to jump back in and return to where she was supposed to be, but she kept coming up to the same place.

"Wow, I'm in a pickle," Chloe sighed as she laid her head on a nearby rock.

(( I think whatever the girl put into the potion made Chloe go to that place out of the Narnia books, if you've read them. It's like a place with a bunch of lakes that go to different worlds.....hehe....have any other worlds you want to visit? lol ))

Tor paced along the lake edge. She began to become convinced that a creature of the lake had taken Chloe. "Lumos." she whispered. she used the light to search the water, but she didn't see any mermaids that looked like Chloe. Great. She knew she shouldn't have done this. Tor brushed her hair away from her face. She had two options, as far as she could see. Take the potion and rescue Chloe, or tell the headmaster and get in trouble, but be sure Chloe was safe. Except Tor wasn't sure they could find her. But she didn't want to get hurt by whatever took Chloe...
Tor sat down. She'd have to think about this...

Bio:Alexis was bitten by a werewolf when he was eight. His wolf is a bit unusual..... Seiki (his wolf's name) only comes out once a month at the full moon like any other wolf. However, his presence is known shortly before the full moon. If you are male, it is wise to not get too close to Victoria during those days. Seiki sees Victoria as his and will surprisingly do anything to be near her during the full moon. The headmaster eventually just gave up and allowed Victoria to go to the Shrieking Shack with him. It was either that or risk having Seiki/Alexis injure himself severely trying to get to her. When the two are together during a full moon he tends to sleep curled up around her and she scratches his ears until she falls asleep. Alexis is 6'5" and Victoria is only 5' so they stand out quite a bit. Seiki is a 10' gray werewolf who is quite vicious and territorial.

Other: Also comes from a wealthy family, one that did not reject him when he turned.

Alexis opened the door to the Room of Requirements and smiled upon seeing Victoria curled up with a book on her lap. She was asleep. Fortunately for him, werewolves have a talent for moving silently and quickly. That and she was a pretty heavy sleeper. He took the book from her hands and gently picked her up and sat down with her in his lap on one of the armchairs. He held her there and softly stroked her hair.

He whispered, "Je t'aime ma petite fleur." And kissed the top of her head before falling asleep himself.

After Chloe marked the small lake she had come out of, she moved across the land, being careful not to fall into any of the other lakes. Finally, she saw what she was looking for, a blue spruce tree. She had read about Blue Spruces before and it has been said that they can reverse the effects of potions. The problem was that the the tree was right in the middle of one of the lakes.

She decided to try to reach it without getting in the lake, who knew what it would do. She was on her toes and was just about to reach the Blue Spruce on one of the branches when she fell. She got out really fast, but something in the water of that lake had effected her. She felt like there was some new kind of power inside of her, but she couldn't be sure.

"Yes!" Chloe cheered when she opened her hand to find the Blue Spruce. She walked back to the small lake she had come out of and got into the water. Her mermaid features came back upon getting wet, and after swallowing the blue Spruce, she dove down into the lake. Once she came back up, Chloe was overjoyed to see that she was back.

"Tor!" She exclaimed as she jumped out of the water, "Tor, don't drink that potion! Give it to me, this was deemed a failor but it led to an extraordinary find!"

Look and Personality: Has wavy black hair and icy blue eye's. Is about the size of a young child, since she had a rare dwarfism that keeps her looking like a young girl.
She may seem young and innocent, but trust me, you dont want to make her angry. She has a rather loud disposition, and pulls people in with her innocent act to use them, then stad them in the back. Also, when she gets angry, she will do anything to get rid of the problem, even if the problem is a person. She is also very observant and clever, able to figure things out that nobody else can.
Bio: Nyx, as is her nickname, was given to her by her mother for some unknown reason, but it grew on her and she was known as Nyx. She is pureblooded and proud of her lineage, but not so proud that the pride gets in the way of her goal. She was loved yet feared within her family, since Nyx didnt take crap from people, which would lead to massive injuries to her cousins. So she was sent to this school to leanr, and she has been here for 4 years now.
Other: Nyx owns a snake named Moria, and usually likes to walk around places with her coil up her arm and around the back of her neck. Moria is a king cobra, who only seems to like Nyx and wont let anyone else pick her up.

Nyx walked into the Slytherin common room, her stuff already in her room, as she expected. She sat down on one of the couches, her icy blue eye's looking around the room, along with Moria who was wrapped around her neck. At this time she had on a black petticoat with blue ribbons and a black velvet choker. At this point she looked like an innocent little girl.

Alexis awoke with a start. He had a nightmare where Victoria no longer wanted anything to do with him.

"Beast!"

"Monster!"

"Abomination!"

Those were the names she called him as she threw hexes and curses at him. His own mother did the same when he was turned. All he had left in the world was his father. Though the rest of his family was scattered throughout the world, they did not shun him like his mother had. When she failed to kill him she nearly placed a curse on him that would prevent him from ever being loved.

Alexis often wondered if Victoria loved him..... After all she was so cold and distant that it took him a full five years to gain her trust. They had only been dating for a year now and he often wondered if it would last. It had to last! She knew his secret, yet showed no fear. She meant so much to him that she was his patronus! His patronus took the form of Victoria with large angel wing on her back. He was amazed to find that he was her patronus as well. At least his werewolf form was anyway.....

He looked down at Victoria and thought back to they day she finally broke and started dating him. It was a rainy day and it was also the anniversary of her parents' murder. She had wondered the woods of the Forbidden Forest and gotten horribly lost. When Alexis saw that she wasn't in class he followed her scent. Seiki was more prevalent as it was close to the full moon. He sniffed her out, following that sweet, motherly lavender-rain perfume of hers and found her curled up under a tree crying. Years of badgering her into opening up, let alone smile, had not worked. So silently, he picked her up and carried her through the mud in the middle of a thunderstorm. He took her to the Room of Requirements and laid her down on a bed that he wanted to appear. She was soaking wet so he used a drying charm and a warming charm. It was after that that she finally opened up about her parents, her Uncle Varten, and her secret training.

It was finally her who asked him out in her own little way:

"Thank you..... I suppose I DO owe you a trip to Hogsmead now....."

With that said, they went out the following day, but had to cut it short because she got ill from the rain the day before. He spent most of his time taking care of her then. Not that he minded.....

Alexis shook himself from his trip down memory lane and looked down at Victoria. She was still asleep. He sighed, she looked like an angel when she slept. He fidgeted a bit, nervous about what he had planned to ask her soon. He could only hope that she would agree to be his angel forever.....

"Whoa, slow down. What do you mean? Where were you, I couldn't find you!" Tor's normally calm features were twisted with confusion and relief. "What happened? And what do you mean, a failure? I say you turn into a mermaid just fine!" Tor was relieved to see her friend but she wasn't making any sense!

"Well, it was a failure because instead of letting me calmly swim about the lake, I'm assuming that the potion made the lake become a portal the instant my new body touched it, and I ended up in some mysterious place with a bunch of lakes!" Chloe was talking kind of fast, but new discoveries excited her to no end, "Anyway, I'm going to do some research on this potion, to see how it opened that portal. I might even visit that place again to do research on the different lake's water, but I'll have to remember to bring along some Blue Spruces..."

She trailed off and her eyes turned into stars as she imagined her name on the front page of the Wizard Paper, the title would read "Youngest witch ever to discover an unmapped territory". Stars started dancing around her head as she imagined how cool it would be to be famous. Suddenly a thought came into her mind, what if it was a different world?

That's when she fainted. Too much excitement can sometimes be bad for a witch that didn't eat dinner.

Victoria cracked one of her eyes open and looked up. Alexis was sound asleep....

She carefully climbed out of his lap and a small kitchen appeared behind her. She put an apron on and got to work making fruity chocolate crepes. After about half an hour she had the table set, they crepes made, the chocolate melted, and the fruit cleaned. All she had to do is put it all together and make some green tea for her and Alexis. Once breakfast was completed she walked over to Alexis and gently shook him awake.

"Hey. Breakfast. Time to get up."

Alexis smiled sleepily and thought to himself that tonight would be different. Tonight would be the night that he asks her to be his forever.

"Bonjour mon ange," Alexis purred.

Victoria blushed a bit, "Bonjour yourself. I made crepes."

Alexis got up and stretched before helping Victoria to her seat with a little bow. He then sat down himself and began to eat, "C'est magnifique, mon amour. Your cooking is always bon!"

Victoria simply blushed and smiled, "Merci."

She sighed.

"What is the matter mon petit?" Alexis asked.

Victoria said, "I have double potions today. It would seem that our dear professor as less than scholarly thoughts in regards to my future."

Alexis' beautiful blue eyes flashed golden a bit as his wolf, Seiki, began to make himself known. After all, tomorrow night is a full moon. Victoria got up and gently hugged Alexis about his shoulders. She calmed him as she always had in the past, growling very softly like a wolf and stroking his hair. He closed his eyes and sighed, leaning into her touch. Alexis was certain that Victoria loves him. She had seen his beast before and never abandoned him for what he is. No. She always saw him for WHO he is. He loved her so much for that.....

"Chloe? Chloe, wake up. Great. Well, I'm just going to have to carry her back to our dorm and feed her. Geez." Tor cast a spell to make Chloe light as air and carried her to her bed. She ordered some food, but she was really tired... She drifted off to sleep.

"Alright, now what were you trying to tell me yesterday?" Tor asked at breakfast the next day.

"Don't go to class. Just skip it and spend all your time with me," Alexis said, sleepily.

Victoria sighed, "I wish I could but I'm head girl remember? And YOU'RE head boy! We should really set an example for the younger students...."

Alexis growled.

Victoria laughed.

Alexis looked up at Victoria and smiled, her soft laugh sounded like tingling bells.

He watched as she preformed a cleaning charm on herself. She looked very refreshed afterwards. She did her hair up in a messy bun and put her wand though it. Alexis sighed and did the same, placing his wand in its holster that was on his leg forearm under his robes. They grabbed their things and left for class. Alexis also had double potions, but was tempted to skip it for the sake of not having to deal with their professor. That horrible man was always sniffing around Victoria and Alexis just couldn't take it anymore. He was thankful that this was their last year here....

Alexis pulled Victoria aside before she could enter the classroom and said, "Meet me in the astronomy tower for a starlit picnic tonight." With that said, he kissed her softly on the lips and let her go so she could sit on the Slyterin side.

He believes that Victoria would be better off with a man and not a monster. He is one of few who know that Alexis is a werewolf.

Bio: Frediano had sided with the dark lord until the very end. He is actually much older than he looks as evident by the lack of wrinkles despite the white hair. He was a seventh year Slytherin at the time when the Voldemort fell. Frediano lived a very pampered life and is still independently wealthy. He chooses to work though to spare himself the boredom of what would otherwise be a solitary life. Frediano is incredibly cold and thinks only of himself, his wealth, and his influence over young minds. He thinks that he is entitled to only the best and nothing short of a rampaging werewolf will stop him from getting the best.

Other: Has been after Victoria since she was fifteen.

"About that," Chloe smiled kindly at Tor, "Thanks for getting me back to my room last night. I should stop skipping dinner to correct my potions...."

She trailed off and stared off into space, remembering that world and her never dying curiosity when it came to those lakes. The researcher/experimenter within her really wanted to go back as soon as possible.

"Oh right," Chloe seemed to snap out of her daze, "Instead of coming back to this world when I went up to get you last night, I ended up in a different one, or so I believe. There were many small lakes there and I was lucky to find a Blue Spruce to undo the magic and let me come back. Something in that potion must have created a portal or something and once I find out how, I'll show you that world too."

Meanwhile, the pudgy-faced girl who had tried to sabotage Chloe's potion was glaring at the girl over her breakfast.

How did she get back? That was the one question on her mind that made her grind her teeth. The reason she wanted Chloe gone was because she was competition. She was the second best student in potions, and once she got rid of Chloe, she'd be the absolute best.

"Chanel!" the calling of her name made her snap out of her thoughts and look towards the person who called her.

"Come on already! Let's go," her friend wined at her.

"Coming, Rachel," Chanel said with a smile. She would just have to do something else to get Chloe out of her way, like maybe make her lose her memory! She grinned evilly as she followed Rachel out of the dining hall.
