Toan said nothing, but what he did was pull her in for a hug, he held her in his arms, hugging her gently, he shook his head. "What happened to Garreth was nobody's fault Sakura... don't blame yourself for something like this, please, don't cry anymore..." He hugged her a bit tighter, giving her a gentle pat on the back, hoping she'll stop crying, "if you must... then you can cry until you stop on your own." He chuckled lightly, managing to smile.

((I hope you don't mind me taking the liberty of bringing out the breakfasts since Mai is going to be gone for a week ^^; ))
Raito came out with a couple plates of food on a tray, omelets and toast littered on the plates quite messily, but it still smelt good!

"I made food...Oh. Where'd everyone go?" He placed everything on the table and sat up on his seat, taking not one, but two plates for himself and began to shovel it down.
Navi had stopped her tears a little bit before Raito came out, and was now watching with confusion and revulsion as bits of omelet and toast went everywhere as he attempted to shove it down his throat.

"You...you're going to choke!" She warned, but wouldn't go near him, she hid behind Raye's hand to avoid the shower of omelet.
It was like he couldn't hear her. He was so bent on eating the food, at being in top shape. He wanted to get stronger, so no one could take anyone else away from him.

He had cried, and he had learned, and now it was time to move on...before any other part of him was taken away, before he lost people important to him.

'Garreth, we'll get you back. I promise.'

Sakura was so surprised when Toan hugged her that she almost stopped crying. But then another wave of emotion slammed down on her, and she found herslef hugging him back, her head nuzzled into his shoulder. She kept crying until she'd cried herself out, though she'd tried to make herself stop by biting down on her tongue. That hadn't helped in the least.

Finally, Sakura leaned back, wiping her drenched face. She smiled awkwardly, and patted the soaked spot of Toan's shoulder which marked where she'd been. "Sorry..."

Toan laughed lightly, standing up and holding onto Sakura's hands, lifting her up with him, he gave her a kind, happy smile, "feeling better now, Sakura?" He asked her, still holding onto her hands, he looked at them and quickly let go of them, putting his hands behind his back, he blushed, a bit embarrassed, he laughed nervously. "Perhaps we should head back inside now... knowing you're alright has made me feel better as well, come on" he turned toward the house and headed for the door, but he stopped and looked over his shoulder at Sakura, waiting for her.

Sakura allowed herself to be helped up; she needed the support. "Yes, I fell much better now, thank you..." Sakura smiled, embarrased. She followed Toan back towards the house.
"Er... sorry about your... mantle..." Sakura stammered, unable to ignore the huge wet patch she'd left on Toan's shoulder. If this had been any other situation, Sakura probably would have laughed at herself for freaking out so much. But now wasn't the time.

Seeing Raito shovel in the food he gave a slight smile. he would normally have chuckled but it was a little too somber right now. He also took a plate for himself making sure to only take a necessary portion, leaving the rest to the others. He ate with one hand, the other he turned to better aide Navi from being hit by the flying food crumbs.

"Make sure to chew thoroughly Raito, It helps your jaw muscles as well as being better to digest."

He saw Sakura and Toan enter and he nodded to them and toward teh food.

"Make sure to get some food. We'll need our strength before heading for the castle."

Raito had heard them come in but didn't say anything. He couldn't handle anymore sad faces so he continued to shovel in his food.

Well, he had taken the other mans advice and chewed more thoroughly. Besides, Toan would probably scold him if he saw him eating like an angry Goron anyway.
Navi looked up at the man and smiled gratefully a light red blush on her cheeks. When she was sure Raito was getting more food in him and not on him and the table she floated so her head was seen above Raye's hand. A look of sympathy went on her face, since she noticed Sakura had been crying...but they did seem a bit chipper then before! That was good.

Sakura smiled once more at Toan apologetically, then once gratefully at Raye for saying nothing about her red-rimmed eyes. Then she took a plate of food, and seated herself in the seat she had vacated earlier, and started eating, though hopefully not as eagerly as Raito had been.

Toan gave everyone at the table a smile, he grabbed the last plate and sat down in the only free chair next to Sakura, he ate quickly, but not messily, he still savored the flavor of his food. After he chewed and swallowed the last bite he pushed his chair out and stood up, he was growing even more anxious to leave and head to the castle, "alright guys, finish up so we can get going, I'll be waiting outside for you all" He looked over at Malon, giving her a grateful bow, "thank you for your hospitality Malon, we hope to see you again soon." Toan then headed over to the door and stepped outside, closing it behind him, he then leaned against the wall on the left side of the door and waited for everyone else.

Sakura finished a few minutes after Toan left. But, looking back on the situation that would probably leave them awkward for quite a while, she decided to stay in the house until everyone else has finished.
"Does anyone actually know where this castle is?" Sakura sked, glancing at the remaining souls, "I vaguely remember it, but I wouldn't be able to tell where it is."

Raito tilted his head to the side in thought. He had just finished his food and had speckles of crumbs over his mouth.

"I...think we may have a map?" he asked everyone, but was more looking at Navi.
Navi nodded. She had picked up a napkin and flew over to wipe at Raito's face.

"Yes, we should check Epona's saddle bag..." Raito gave a whine or protest.

"Oh hush! Maybe if you weren't being such a slob I wouldn't have to wipe your face."

"Alright I'll go get it." He stepped outside, taking in a big breath of the morning air. As the darkness had seemed stuffy at night, this morning as the sun penetrated the darkness, it was as a calming breeze.

"Toan would you get Epona ready? I'll come and fetch the map from the saddle bags." He walked over to the barn and the stables where Epona and their bags where laid. He smiled at the horse and rifled through the bags. Finding the map he then re-entered the house. He rolled the map out on the end of the table that wasn't in use. He pointed along the route and to which the castle lay.

"Ahhh, not too far from here. Just across the field a bit. Alright then, Gather your things, and we'll be off." he looked to see if they were done eating and straightened his tunic.

Toan looked at the door through the corner of his eye, spotting Raye walk outside, he gave him a smile, "hello Raye" he greeted, then giving him a nod as he headed over to the barn to receive Epona. He gently pulled her outside by her reins and she didn't put up a fight, she let out a few cute noises, which made Toan chuckle, he closed off the barn so no other animals might get out. He gave her a quick brushing to help keep her relaxed, she seemed to enjoy the warm sunshine as well, Toan began to brush her mien when she turned her head and then licked Toan's face. He laughed and wiped his face, continuing his brushing, once she was ready he placed on her saddle and bags, tied up the reins to a fence post to keep her from running away and leaned against the barn, waiting for the others.

Sakura leaned over to see the map when Raye pointed it out. "Eh? It's not that far from here," Sakura stated. Then she stood up as well. She didn't really have anything to carry apart from the weapon that had been distributed to them all when they'd first 'met'.

After being lectured on table manners and to wash his face, Raito had made it out of the house. He turned to look at the house and smiled.

"Thank you very much for letting us stay! Oh, and for the yummy food, and for letting me...take a cuckoo!"
Navi crossed her arms, looking at the boy.
"..When did they say you could take a cuckoo?"
"I'm sure they won't mind if I take just one!" and then he scampered off to the backyard, away from the others.

"CUCKOOO!!"

he bowed before Malon and thanked her before turning to leave.

"Well daylights passing, and I think light is very important for us to get our search done." he led the way out motioning Sakura to follow.

He eyed Toan and noticed Raito was missing.

"Well besides Raito do we have everything?"

Sakura nodded and smiled to Malon too. "Thanks so much for allowing us to stay," she said.
She followed Raye out of the door in time to hear Raito yelling about a cuckoo. Sakura glanced at Navi. "A cuckoo?" She remarked incredulously (sp?).

((Yeah! I'm back!))

Malon couldn't help it; she laughed out loud at Raito and his cuckoo, and at her father's incredulous expression. "Of course, take the cuckoo with you, Raito," she said, wiping tears of mirth from her eyes. "Only one won't hurt, right, Dad? Who knows, it might come in handy." Briefly, she reflected on the time when she had given the Fairy Boy--who had been whole that time--a cuckoo egg of his own.

"But, Malon!" Talon protested. "That's Henrietta, our best layer, what are we going to do without--"

"Dad, it's all right." Malon laid a hand on her father's arm. "Business is booming nowadays; weren't you talking about getting some new egg-layers soon? I expect we'll do well enough without Henrietta. Besides, she doesn't seem to mind."

Indeed, Henrietta had found her way up to Raito's head and was now sitting on top of it, as if she had made it her brand-new nest.

Malon smiled at Raye's bow--what a gentleman!--and returned it with a slight, unpracticed curtsy. "Think nothing of it, Raye. You know, you're always welcome to come back anytime." She turned her smile upon everyone who was gathered there. "You all must take care of yourselves, you hear?"

Toan was happy that everyone was outside... well, almost everyone, but he wasn't about to get upset about Garreth again, it wouldn't do anyone good, he walked over to the others. Toan heard Sakura's question, "Cuckoo is the name for the chickens all around the ranch and I feel in other places around here as well. We'll be seeing a lot along our travels, I can tell, but be careful with Cuckoos and treat them with loving care, because they can be dangerous, you hear me Raito?" Toan asked, looking over at Raito with a serious look, but then he looked over at Malon, giving her a smile, "don't worry Malon, we'll be alright, I just want to say thank you so much again for all you did for us, I'll always appreciate it."

Toan then turned toward Epona and jogged toward her, freeing her from the fence post, holding onto her reins he pulled her so that she would turn around and face the exit. "Come on Raito, Sakura, you can ride Epona, Raye and me can just run" Toan waited for Raito to head over so that he could give him a boost up onto Epona's back.

"Thank you thank you thaaank yooouu!" Raito cheered and pet Henrietta, before placing his hat gently over her. He ran over to both Malon and her father and gave them hugs.

"I promise I'll take good care of her! Really!!"

He decided to run away before they changed there minds and ran over to Toan and leapt, hell bent on tackling the man.

"Help me up on the horseeeey~!!"

He smiled seeing the little form of themselves having such fun. He remebered likcing the birds for some strange reason. Perhaps he'd even indulge later in playing with raito and the cuckoo.

"Alright lets get going while we still have plenty of daylight." He smiled and gave another bow to their hosts.

"Once again we all thank you and hope that goodness favors you." he then turned and stood before Epona, ready to walk along with them.

When Raito practically tackled him, Toan almost lost his balance, he stumbled backwards, holding Raito in his arms, "calm down Raito, for goodness sakes you're going to hurt your new Cuckoo." Toan gently placed him upon Epona's back, once he was properly on he looked over at Sakura, offering her his assistance, holding his hand out to her and giving her a smile.

Sakura laughed as Raito almost bowled over Toan; the boy had so much energy! Sakura smiled and took Toan's hand. "Thankyou," she said.
Sakura glanced back at Malon and Talon once more, and waved. "Thank you! You're both good friends!"

Toan gave Malon and Talon one final smile and glance before he helped Sakura climb up onto Epona, he handed her the reins, knowing she could control Epona better than Raito. "All set?" Toan asked, looking around at everyone, "lets go!" He turned toward the exit and practically bolted outside like a rocket, like he had just as much energy as Raito, it was a bit of a shock. He stopped just outside the Ranch entrance, underneath the tree in front of it, his eyes glistened and he smiled happily at the beauty of the field. He looked up at the bright blue sky, with a slight hint of white from the thin clouds covering up the bright, shining sun, he enjoyed the small, gentle breeze blowing by him, it felt nice against his face, he took a deep breath and exhaled. "This place is gorgeous, I don't want anything bad to happen to it anymore..." He looked behind him, over his right shoulder to see if the others had caught up to him yet.

He left to follow at a lively pace. It was indeed beautiful in the field. there seemed to be no trace of the dark mist that they had run into from the night.

There were birds flying singing a particular lively tune ((see tune at Link's link above :D ))

He smiled, for now he would not think of the dangers that faced them, but the magic of the day.

He caught up easily with Toan and attempted conversation.

"There is no trace of the mist from last night. It gladdens me to see the field thus."
