"Ugh, my head...." Sitting up flashes and stars spun around him in a world of color. He felt so strange. as if he had been torn apart and restitched together out of place. Memories, yet not memories, flashed past him. A forest, Fairies, Music, A horse, And a creeping darkness. Yet it was like looking through a window at these images, and not as if he saw them through his own eyes. Slowly the stars began to fade, and world seemed to right itself up. He saw a light brown and cream colored horse not too far off. It seemed agitated and confused. Dirt and debrei were everywhere. He was confused. What happened, where am I...? he pushed the dirty blue hair out from his eyes...Wait, blue? He had a vague image of blond hair, and green clothes. He looked down. Sure enough his clothes were also blue. The same sort of tunic he remembered wearing, but of a different color. It was then that he felt the presence of others around him. A few yards off in all directions, there seemed to be several others all around him. They were similar and familiar, and yet like total strangers....It was all confusion. Maybe he had hit his head too hard. "Hello?" he called out hoping to find some sort of reassurance.
|
Toan had awakened almost as soon as Raye did, he slowly sat up and held his forehead, rubbing it, "wow... what happened?" He asked himself, trying to regain his concentration and ignore the headache coming on, he looked around him and grew surprised to see other people a short distance from him. But, he went back to holding his head, his eyes closed and he looked to be in pain, he groaned as a vision of a little boy with blond hair and a green tunic flashed in his mind. He shook his head to get focused again, he opened his eyes and began to stand up, brushing himself off he took a look at his person in confusion, "what... what happened to me...?" His voice quivered as he asked that question, he stared at his hands, he was all grown up he thought, yet he wasn't Link at all, he was a totally different person.
This shocked him a little and he took a few steps back, but when he heard Raye say hello, it caught his attention, Toan looked over at him. "Hey" he blurted out as he ran over to Raye's side, he bent his knees slightly, hovering over him, "are you alright?" He asked, he then held his hand out to Raye to help him up. |
Garreth sat up as he held his hand to his forehead. He didn't remember much, just flashes of images that should mean something to him. Looking up he saw a horse that he seemed to remember. So, Garreth stood up and walked toward it, completely ignoring the other people that were nearby him.
As he stroked the horse's, who he seemed to remember being called Epona, head he muttered soothing words to it asking it to calm down. Once Epona was sufficiently calmed down Garreth turned to the others. "Do any of you know what happened," he asked as he took the sheathed sword attached to Epona's saddle and slung it across his back. |
"Raito. That's my name!...Right?" was the first thing to flicker into his brain as he awoke. He sat up and felt extremely dizzy.
Wait! He'd never been THIS tiny!....Right? He didn't feel like he was in his own skin, but that didn't even make sense~ Oh well! "La La laaa~!" he sang, resting on his arms as he looked up at the blue, blue sky. He recalled his old self, or what he made sense of it: Blonde, green tunic, maybe pointier ears... Hmm..It wasn't bothering him as much as it should of. He heard other people talking and he looked over at them curiously. Oh my gosh! HORSIE! THAT GUY HAS A HORSIE! "La la laaa~ la la laaa~ La la la la laaaa~" flew from his lips. A familiar melody that reminded him of the light brown steed. He stood up, making eye contact with the horse, then skipped over to it, ignoring the other man beside it as he pet it's muzzle gently. "Whose-a good boy? You are!" (In case you don't get it, he's singing epona's theme ^^ It's so purty!) |
"Aaaargh!"
Sakuraka sat up suddenly and clutched her skull, which was pounding horribly. Groggily, she looked around at the others. "Where am I? Who're all you?" Sakuraka stiffened as memories came into her mind. That was right; that man in the green tunic was... She suddenly gasped and looked down at herself. "W-what the-?!" She gasped. It was so bizarre; why was she a she? Her head started to spin. Woah... (oops, this is opalistic8) |
(((Wwwaaaaiiiiittt.... a minute...Opal=Kingdomhearts? ARE you the same or on the same computer?)))))
With the Green tunic boys assistance he got up slowly. "I think so...I have a horrible headache though, and I fell....different...." He shrugged and looked around again. There were five different people dressed in the same clothes, but the colors were different for each one. A girl in pink, the one in green who had helped him up, a boy in yellow, himself and....Another tunic one, this time red, called out. "All I remember is this kind of explosion...." then my memories are kinda muddled before then. |
((^.^ I believe that's her mule account.))
"Hey yeah! Me too!" The child had his cheek against the horses muzzle and was nuzzling gently. "Isn't that weird? And I think I used to have a green outfit..." He looked over at Toan and gasped "Oh my gosh! You stole my outfit, you...you theif!" Of course that didn't make sense, considering there obvious age and height difference. |
Toan looked around at everybody in major confusion, but he calmed down and stroked his chin, pondering and trying to understand the situation, "hmm..." he made a noise as he thought. "Has anyone else had the vision of a little blond boy in green? If you have... I have a feeling that we're all a part of him. I can feel it in my soul, something is inside me as well as all of you, a sort of consciousness not our own... something happened to that little boy and the result is us." At first, he almost didn't make sense and he felt that no one would believe him, "I can hear a voice in my head... a cry for help perhaps, it sounds like a voice I know yet don't know at the same time."
He was confusing himself and everyone else now, he scratched his head, "okay, I really have no clue what happened, this whole thing seems like a dream we can't wake up from..." He thought some more, straining his brain trying to find an answer for whats happening, but he just couldn't think of one, "anyone else have any ideas of what might have happened?" He sat down in the grass and huffed, he slouched and he rested his arms on his thighs. ((Do we have on the same outfit as Link or do we have our own clothes like in our character pictures? I just need to know... since I'm confused about it.)) |
Although what Toan said was somewhat confusing, Garreth was still able to understand him somewhat.
"If we were once the same person," he began as he rummaged through Epona's saddlebags looking for anything useful and finding a verity of weapons which he began to pass among them, He gave a sling shot he found to the small child next to him, the shield to the guy in green, and the bow and a quiver of arrows to the blue-hair man. Garreth also found an ocarina, which he gave to the only girl of the group. "Then why do all of our ages, looks, and even genders very so?" ((The weapons you got were the ones Silverbeam told me to give everyone when I asked who should get what, just so everyone knows.)) |
((Alright then, thanks :P))
Toan accepted the shield and held it in his lap as he tried to answer Garreth's question, "perhaps the boy's consciousness split into several pieces and took on the form each piece best represented. That is why we all look different, at least I'm assuming so..." He was taking wild guesses, but he somehow made sense, its like he had no control over what he was saying. He stood up and brushed any loose grass off his person before he attached the shield to his back, "I have no clue why our ages and genders differ if we're supposed to be from a little boy." This was all too much to absorb, even for himself, he shook his head a little bit, "maybe if we ask around, we might find out some answers to our problems?" He suggested, though he was a bit worried of people's reactions to them all, they were all normal human beings, not monsters, but still he worried. |
He slung the bow and arrow across his back comfortably, shrugging it into place. Looking up he spoke lightly. "Perhaps that would be best. Crazy as a tale you spin, for me it seems like it holds home in the heart. Who knows what duties we may have been about, what loyalties may wait unserved. There seems to be a settlement across the field over there. Perhaps we should venture yonder? ah but first I feel like a proper introduction is necessary. Even if we may all have been once one. Something within me feels compelled to call myself Raye."

(aaargh, you started without me and I didn't know! *sad face*)
Malon was up with the sun and hunched over in the hen-house. "There, there," she cooed at the hens as she reached beneath them for their eggs. "You know me, you're such good girls. Don't worry, none of these eggs are going to go to waste." Humming a faint tune that had been with her all her life, she backed out of the hen-house and strolled towards her own house, the basket of eggs slung over one arm. "Hello?" She called as she opened the front door. No answer. Releasing a frustrated sigh, Malon set the basket on the table and went to her father's room. True to habit, he was still asleep. She thought he had been doing so much better lately, though.... Leaning over him and clapping her hands, she called briskly, "All right, up and at 'em, lazy bones! We've got a lot of work to do today!" Talon immediately rolled out of bed and fell to the floor with a loud thump. "Wha...?" He mumbled sleepily, rubbing his eyes. "Malon, girl, do you know what time it is?" "Obviously, or else I wouldn't be waking you up! Honestly, who's the parent around here?" Although she did her best to act firm when her father was being lazy, she really could not find it in her to completely harden her heart against him. He was a good man, after all, and when he did his work he did it well. "I've already got the eggs. It's up to you to milk the cows," she told her father, turning to leave. "I made toast with butter, and we can spare a couple of eggs. I'm giving you ten minutes to get out of your nightshirt and into your clothes, and then I'm giving your breakfast to the pigs." Ignoring her father's pleas for more time, Malon left his room and shut the door firmly behind her. Shaking her head, she made her way to the kitchen to start cooking the eggs she'd set aside for their breakfast. |
"Garreth," he stated simply. it seemed like he was a man of few words when it came to causal conversation. "We should still be careful. Just as we know not of any unfinished tasks we had before the split, we also do not know of any enemies we had. For all we know, it was an enemy of our former self that split us in the first place." As he said this he climbed on to Epona's saddle. Then he reached down and offered a hand to the small child indicating that he wanted to pull him up on to the horse as well. For he knew they could travel faster this way.
|
He gave Raye a smile and adjusted his hat, "something in the back of my mind says that my name is... Toan, its nice to meet you Raye, Garreth...?" He wasn't certain how to give a proper greeting to them and the rest if they're all supposed to be from the same person, it'd be like he was saying hello to himself. He laughed a little bit, "anyway, how about the rest of you?" Toan asked, he folded his arms and waited for an introduction from them.
|
((Yeah, sorry, that was my mule, I forgot to log back in and I didn't have time to explain >_<;; ))
Sakuraka accepted the weopan without speaking, as she was in great shock. That boy was her? And why was she the only girl? "It seems I'm named Sakuraka," She said after a while, "But if what you, Toan, say is true, then why am I a girl?" She knew she sounded like she was whining, but wasn't this a little strange? After all, if she'd been split from a man, wouldn't she be a man also? She folded her arms and waited for an answer. |
((I actually think I'd like to be navi, since my boy is a kokkiri and should have a fairy~. ^_^ should I make a profile for her?))
Raito had only been half listening. He was playing with his new toy, given to him by the man in red. His tongue was sticking out as he aimed, but never shot. A hand was in his peripheral vision and he blinked, looking up at the hand then all the way up to the arm and to the Garreth's face. He grinned happily and took the mans hand so he could hoist himself up and onto the horse. "Yaaay~! I'm Raito, nice to meet you me's!" He didn't seem the least perturbed with accepting they were all him...even if the girl had cooties. A faint 'Hey!' and 'Hello?' came from the inside of his hat and he pulled it off, revealing a very annoying...I mean, familiar fairy. "Oh! There you are! I was wondering where you went~" "I nearly suffocated under your hat!" She scolded, looking around with her arms crossed. "Oh...What a mess." indeed, she could tell that they were all pieces of Link, who she was sworn to watch over. Her eyes went from Raito, the yellow clad boy with a bright smile and wide, honest eyes, to the red haired man behind him. Strength and power seemed to radiate off him. She turned to look at the girl, her eyes showed kindess, albeit at the moment they also showed confusion. Very good, she'd have another sensible person around. The one in the green tunic looked almost exactly like the other link, except older and he had brown hair, and last but not least- Oh hello. Deffinitely not least. Was the one in blue. She'd never seen so many peircings in a human before. She swirled about all of them, looking them over once, twice, then a third time before plopping onto Raito's shoulder, sighing sadly. "You know, you're the type of person that bad things always seem to happen to you." She muttered, looking up to the sky. "What a bother." "Which one of us are you talking about?" Raito asked as he attempted to rifle through the satchel attached to Epona, looking for more nuts to shoot with. "Link....as in all of you." She said dryly. "....Oh." |
"Well, I guess there's a bit of girl in even a guy. Male female, doesn't rally matter In my opinion, just how we serve one another." He talked to the only girl kindly, trying to reassure her, that he at least didn't have a problem with her.
"Well, It looks like its getting dark, and I don't like the look at the dark mist over there." He pointed to some low laying fog the seemed to roll and writher in it's inky darkness. It came to about the knees of a man, and it looked like it could shift around or expand at will. "lets get to that settlement as soon as possible. ((It's the lon lon ranch)) he watched the boy climb onto the horse with the help of the red tunic man, or Garreth as he called himself. A little blue light popped out from the boys hat. He walked over as it seemed familiar to him. "It's Navi isn't it? I know you somehow. He gave her a polite bow. "It's good to see you again." |
Navi gave a bright smile, a light pink blush glowing on her cheeks.
"It's good to see you as well. It's hard to believe you're from little Link!" Indeed. The clumsy, well meaning boy was nothing compared to such a handsome, polite man.((ooc: at least I always thought link was clumsy, something bad is always happening to him XD and he always trips when I play as him in brawl! Ahh!)) "Raye is right, we should head to shelter. These lands aren't safe after dark." |
Garreth looked at the settlement that Raye had pointed out. It looked like a small ranch of some kind. When Navi appeared out from under Raito's hat Garreth sighed. It seemed that he was the part of this Link person that found her to be rather annoying.
"I must agree with Raye as well," he said as he turned Epona toward the ranch. "Come everyone, but be on your guard. We do not know what dangers may lie in wait at our destination. And Navi, if you would please point actual dangers and give useful information instead of your usual annoying obvious details, I would be pleased." |
((ooc: *snort* lmao))
"Excuse you!?" She turned around and punched Garreth in the forehead, which was akin to probably flicking him in the forehead. Not painful, but something that'll help him acknowledge your presence. "You better watch your mouth, buster! 'Cause I'll just make sure you notice all the pretty details of the sky until you wind up in a tar pit!" she huffed and turned her back to him, sitting atop Epona's head. Raito had fallen into a giggle fit. It wasn't often that someone so big was chewed out by a tiny, blue glowing fairy with a squeaky voice. |
"Raye is right Sakuraka" confirmed Toan, he then looked over at the ranch when Raye pointed it out and the rest seemed to follow as well, when he heard Navi though and she was yelling at Garreth, he fell into the same fit as Raito. He regained his focus though and started to run toward the ranch, "come on guys!" He shouted as he ran, "last one there's an octorok!" Toan obviously wasn't taking this whole situation seriously, he had no idea what true danger was happening in Hyrule at that time, he'd find out later though.

Dusk was falling, and Malon had just begun to drive the cows into the barn for the night.
"All right, let's go!" She called, waving a leather riding crop in front of her. Occasionally she would smack a straying cow on the rear or side--never too hard, of course. "Time for bed, everybody." After she'd gotten the cows settled for the night, she stopped just outside the barn doors and inhaled deeply. The scent of the barn combined with the cool night air was a beautiful perfume to her. Clasping her hands behind her back, she gazed at the setting sun with a beatific smile on her face. Wait. Was that, approaching the ranch...? It looked like multiple things, but she could not quite make them out. Her enjoyment of the evening ruined, Malon hurried to the house and burst through the door. "Hey, Dad, it looks like we're going to get visitors real soon!" She called. "What? Visitors in the evening? That's not the usual way of things..." "No, Dad, they look like they're in a hurry to get here. It could be some monsters, or something from that fog that people have been talking about... Haven't I told you that it's spreading?" Her father came out into the main area, a hefty club in his hands. "No monster is laying a finger on any of my livestock," he growled. "Malon, you stay in here where it's safe." With that he made his way through the door and was gone. Malon shook her head; why couldn't her father be more alert like this all the time? But now was not the moment to dwell on such thoughts. Although Malon herself was not handy with any sort of weapon, that did not stop her from grabbing a large cast-iron skillet from beside the stove and following her father. "Stay in here where it's safe", indeed! Those were her livestock, too! ((Please note that I have no idea how driving cows into a barn is actually supposed to work)) |
((OOC: That works fine Maiden. They get herded or driven. There pretty stupid. My dad Grew up on a farm. Hay and cattle. Now hes a scientist for Nasa, go fig.))
He walked quickly after Toan, making sure everyone else was prepared to follow. "I think we've been here before......" As he got closer, he felt more at ease. The bright lights seemed to twinkle a hello in the darkening eve. This place was indeed familiar. He smelled the animals in the air, specifically cows and horses... "Horses...Epona...that's where Epona came from." replied Raye. ((note that link has been to the ranch before, but that's about as far as his travels have taken him...An dyes were all wearing the same outfit, with diff colors....for now...)) |
