gemini sweatropped,imagining robin's reaction."you know what? i think he'll love it.in fact,i think he'll love it so much he faints and mabey gets a nosebleed."

Robin stopped short in the hallway at what Zack said. He turned slowly to face Zack and disbelief was etched across his face, "What did you just say? Dammit, so Slade is the reason behind this." He punched the the wall angrily, leaving a large hole in the wall. "Slade is ... going ... down." Robin began to rock back and forth from the stress-induced headache before falling onto the hallway floor with a sickening crack. He laid sprawled out on the floor, unconscious to the surrounding him.

As Zack helped carry Robin up to their hotel room, he explained to Starfire what had happened. That still didn't help him figure out why Robin passed out, Zack knew Robin was tougher than that.

gemini stood against a wall,puzzling over what was going on."this makes no sense,robin is far too tought to faint over a stress headache.lord knows hes had them before.something must be wrong.i say when he wakes up,we run some tests,see if he's sick or...or i dont know what else."

Nova posted up against the wall and stayed silent. He didn't involve himself in too much of anything he just observed for the most part and got a certain amount of enjoyment from it so it was worthwhile to him. Seeing Robin look so weak was interesting and it was entertaining so all was well in his world. He kept his distance watching over Gem but not really caring for most of the other titans.

Terra silently watched everything happen. She peered in the room with Robin laying down and sighed. "So the tower burning down was S-Slade's doing?" She asked, trembling alittle at the word slade.

Robin groaned and sat upright the moment he realized where he was. He took a deep breath and held his head for a bit. He turned his head and saw Starfire sitting next to him. His eyes rounded out comically in shock and awe, "Oh hey Star, how long have you been here? We have to go, all of us. The Titans Tower has been destroyed and Slade and Ana are the ones responsible. Sorry about cutting the vacation short, but this is really important team." He eased himself out of the bed and walked to the bathroom steadily, getting his utility belt together. He put it on around his waist and tested his skills with his collapsible staff, walking out when he was done. There was the familiar air about Robin that showed he was feeling better. "Titans, lets move out. Zack, I think you will be a great asset to the team in a moment like this," he said warmly. He held out a communicator for the former Titan.

Robin stood speechlessly staring at Starfire and began to stammer before he could say what he wanted, "Yeah, it looks good on you. Did Raven do the shopping?" He didn't mean for it to sound like an insult, but that's what it seemed like. He attempted to rephrase what he said, "What I mean is that it doesn't really look like it's your style." He slapped himself on the forehead and walked toward the front door, without turning he said defeatedly, "Get some rest, we're headed home tomorrow. If anyone needs me, I'll be up on the roof." He tightened his fists and walked through the threshold of the door and closed it behind him.

Raven stared off as he went, 'Did Raven do the shopping?' She shook her head, then walked away, "I'll be meditating." She said, then walked off. She sat down crossing her legs to be sitting indian style, "Azarath Metrion Zynthos." She said, before raising in the air, "Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmm" She continued.
Terra walked off as well, heading to her hotel room.

gemini waited as they all left,and then walked over to nova."you were enjoying that,weren't you? robin being weak and the others worrying? i thought you weren't on anyone's side."she was a good head shorter than him,so it was difficult to look him in the eye,but she managed. she tried to seem angry,but failed.the anger was just a mask,anyway.she dropped to her knees and started crying again."i dont want to do this anymore! these are good people and they just had thier home destroyed and they're my friends i dont want to cause them any more trouble than we already have! its not fair!" she cried,feeling like a child.

Nova looked at Gem then replied with no emotion in his voice, "I'm not on anyone's side but it doesn't mean that I can't enjoy what I like to watch occasionally." He watched as she fell to her knees crying, "Come now, you're stronger than this, if you don't want to hurt them then join them but I will tell you plainly... I'm going to complete my mission with or without you." He had this sort of detached look on his face and in his features as if the world didn't exist right now. He was focused on his mission but right now he was simply observing, he would strike when the perfect time arose for him.

Robin frowned as he stared across the the city stone-faced and his cape whipping behind him. He heard someone coming and turned rapidly, readying his stance in defense. Once he realized it was Starfire, he dropped his arms to his sides and smiled sheepishly, "Hey, what brings you up here?" He took a look at her and notices she changed her clothes. "You didn't change because of me, did you? I didn't mean to sound judgemental. I really did like it."

gemini felt at a loss.she didnt want to hurt them,but she didnt want to leave him..."so,does that mean you would think it...amusing if i were sick?" she said,using the same detatched voice as him.she didnt want to show the turmoil going on inside her right now.

Terra had quietly been watching them. She slowly tip-toed in, and put a shoulder on Gemini's shoulder. She looked her in the eyes, feeling serious for the first time today, "Gem, you know you are hurting yourself with these harsh thoughts. It is horrible for you, just...just stop." She said calmly, taking a glance at Nova for a couple seconds, then looked back at Gemini.

Nova looked at Gem then at Terra, "I don't know why you would ask a question like that, of course I wouldn't..." His voice was full of genuine curiousity and a slight bit of pain. 'I thought I told her that I would always be here to protect her no matter what. I guess she still doubts me.' The though hurt him a bit but he didn't show it on the exterior, instead he looked at both Gem and Terra and he gritted his teeth for a moment then he slid his hands into his pockets and began to walk off. He was starting to get mad so he needed to think and get away for a moment, Gem would just have to control her powers while he was away.

Terra shook her head, then ran after him. She used her feet to stop him, then turned him, so he was looking her in the face. "So you are just going to walk off?" She pushed him away a couple inches then sighed. "Really?" She looked at Gem, "Look how sad she is. Aren't you the one who said you would protect her?" Her expression went calmer, "I guess not."

Finally letting his anger surface and show in his features Nova snapped back, "And I suppose that me saying it and proving it just doesn't quite cut it anymore huh? What else do I have to do to get her to trust and believe in me! If she doesn't feel like what I'm doing for her is good enough then I'm sorry." As soon as he finished he quickly spent around and began walking off again, this time at a faster pace.

Terra once again chased after him. She wanted to use her powers on him, but first of all there were no rocks in veiw, and second of all she would seem like the traitor. "You are not showing anything, except that you are heartless!" She screamed then slapped him.

When she slapped him, Nova felt a powerful surge of anger come over him as his eyes flashed red and black but he quickly stopped himself, he didn't need to hurt her, at least not at the moment. He calmed himslef quickly then as he took a deep breath and closed his eyes said, "What do you want me to do Terra?" His voice was calm although he was still fighting with his anger on the inside. When he opened his eyes he let them peer into hers, not revealing any emotions on the exterior to keep her feeling the vibe of his voice.
