gemini jumped slightly,turning with her sword already out."oh,its you.now can i do what? that run-on sentece gave me a headache!" gemini was slightly annoyed,as often happened when she hadnt eaten yet.

gemini stared at it.it was really cool.the question was,could she drive it? she had only just learned to drive,after all."would anyone mind some damage? cause i've only just learned to drive."

gemini looked at the keys in her hand and shook her head."i dont think this is a trust issue.i think ill pass on this for now,untill i can find out why he really wants me to use it.i just know he has a reason." she poketed the keys and walked after nova,still hungry.

Nova paused and looked at Gem, "You don't want to take the car out for a spin? If you want I could drive and we could go get some burgers and shakes... How does that sound? Or we could always go through the shadow realm? Whichever one is easiest for you..." Nova was looking at her with a gentle smile on his face showing off his gleaming white teeth in the process.

gemini paused.i dont know.dont you think its a bit convinient that slade would entrust me with something like this so early? he doesnt even know me.its truee he must know my father,but..i dont know.but a burger does sound good.i havent had one in years." her stomach growled again."oh,will you shut up! im working on it!" she yelled at it.she often yelled at or talked to herself,because herself was the only one around to speak to.

"Lets look at it this way, do you plan on betraying Slade? and even if you do all he did was give us a car to drive around a mission that I'll be supervising so no worries. Just relax and don't think too much about it." Nova had a very nonchalant air about him as if there was really nothing in the world to worry about. He wanted Gem to feel comfortable so he added an undertone that was comforting to his voice as he spoke.

gemini looked at him suspiciously."it would be a very happy world if there was nothing to worry about.but father taught me the hard way that ther is no such thing as no worries.i appreciate your point of view,and you trying to help me.mabey,in time,i can forget about what my father told me.mabey someday i will have nothing to worry about.i suppose now is as good a time as any to start.alright,we'll go and have those burgers,then.but you're paying!" she smiled ischiviously as she ran past him,somehow knowing the way."come on! im hungry!"

"I'm coming. I'm coming" Nova shook his head then followed Gemini with a defeated smile on his face as a brother would follow a younger sibling when they got their way.

when they got to the car,gemini got in and put on her seatbelt.immidiately,she became nervous."oh,crap.uh,lets see...right,i have to start it first.um..." after a moment of fumbling with the key,she got it started."ok! so,next i.....crap." she always got nervous when she was behind the wheel.eventually,she got the car moving,and gradually became more comfortable with it.her face was almost comically determined.finally,they reached the half-way mark.the buger place.by then,she had argued with her stomach at least three times."ah,we're here! good,im starving! and shut up!" she shouted the last part at her growling stomach as she exited the car.

Nova felt like he was going to die... not only was she a fairly terrible driver she was quite a sight to behold at it. He laughed at her for the majority of the ride feeling like he would have abs that were stronger than steel once he got done. The young man figured that he was at least entitled to laugh at her since he was paying for the food today. Once they finally arrived Nova got out of the car feeling kind of sick from all the jerking and he felt like he probably had a few bruises from bumping his head on the dashboard. He turned to Gemini and said, "Yeah... umm... you don't get to drive anymore with me around. I refuse to suffer through another ride like that." After he finished speaking he began to start chuckling to himself again.

gemini turned red."sorry.im new at it,and i got nervous.was i really that bad? well,im much better on my own form of transportation,anyway.this is why i asked if anyone minded damage to it..." in truth,she was pretty good,but she often buckled under pressure.she much preferred a motercycle.

((sorry computer has been acting up lately and I been travelling alot since I finished finals and came home so I apologize for my tardiness ladies... :sweat:))

Nova snickered a bit more then walked over to his young friend and ran his fingers through her hair a bit, "No it wasn't too bad except the few times we almost ran off the road and hit innocent bystanders and almost got me killed... but other than that you did excellent." The care free young warrior smiled at the girl with a playful look on his face. He was having fun teasing her since he had no problems with the way she drove. He understood she was nervous and didn't mind it was natural after all no matter the reason.

she looked up at him."you're teasing me! i never went off the road even once.now can we please get something to eat and go?" she was getting impatient,as most young girls will do.

The young man laughed to himself for a bit then nodded his head in agreement, "We do have a mission to complete after all so let's go eat." With that being said Nova walked over to one of the outside tables and sat down waiting for his young lady friend and a server to take his order.

gemini went and sat down opposite him.when the server came,she made the mistake of thinking they were a couple.gemini tensed."no,we rae not a couple.now take the orders and leave,before i get mad!" the lady quickly too tier orders and scurried away.gemini was sometime short-tempered,but when it came to the matter of couples and dating,she was likely to explode without warning.

Being the nonchalant type of guy he was Nova placed his elbows on the table and rested his chin on his hands and looked deep into Gem's eyes with a disappoineted look in his expression, "You don't think we'd make a good couple Gemini? That hurts my feelings..." His voice sounded genuinely remorseful and his face dittoed that feeling.

gemini,who was taking a sip of water at the moment,began to choke."pfff! a-a couple? us? -cough splutter- i-i never even thought of,i mean-cough hack wheeze-jesus jumped-up christ! th-thats not,i mean,i,i j-just have um...s-some bad expirienced with r-relationships-cough choke-" her face turned thirteen shades of red.she spoke the word "relationships" as if she would be cursed for saying it.

Nova laughed to himself as the girl fumbled over words talking about relationships. She was quite cute when she was flustered. The young man took a drink of his soda and a bite of his burger, "I'm sorry that you have had bad experiences, I've never been in one..." He smiled shyly when he mentioned that he had never had a relationship but it wasn't that he was embarrassed.

gemini looked up from her salad."really? you seem like the heartbreaker type to me.i would have thought you'd gone through tons of girls." she looked back down.what on earth was she doing? talking to a near stranger about relationships?! she took a bite of her burger."not that i would know.ive never broken anyones heart.ive just had mine broken."

Nova smiled at the thought and took another bite of the burger and then a sip of his soda, "I'm sorry about that but I can't say that either have happened to me. I guess I'm stuck in the neutral zone." He chuckled a bit to himself and then looked at Gemini, "I think I would date Blackfire given the chance but I'm not sure how I would handle being in a relationship since I've never been in one." His voice sounded a bit nervous from the thought but he himself was calm and composed almost in a daydream mindset, though he was aware of his suroundings. He finished off his burger and soda then placed his chin on his left hand with his arm resting on the table and peered off into the distance waiting on Gem to finish her meal.
