Light cocked his head at her. "Mikamisan, Near...I believe you shall have to bring her to the bathroom. Give her anything she desires, but don't allow her to escape." |
Near looked up from his food. "well i dont know where it is so Mikami, you'll have to lead the way." placing the piece of bread down that he'd just picked up he waited for a reply.
"i'd hate to keep the lady waiting." he continued not even looking towards Mikami as he spoke. Still in his slightly hunched position he sighed. "i suppose i should get used to this, certainly will be challenge sleeping like this." an image of three beds popped into his mind he was on the middle one, both mikami and Yuki were tossing and turning and Near was focused to be pulled side to side with the chains that attached them to each other. |

L sit there and was enjoying the hell out of the cake. It was already almost gone. He had eaten alone. He better do a lot of thinking..or he might gain weight. He drank his tea as he ate the cake. |
Mikami tugged Near and, by extension, the girl to the bathroom. He unlocked the girl and pointed towards the toilet, which was enclosed by a curtain. They had anticipated something like this, after all. "Near, I do hope you're not a light sleeper. I have a feeling that this will be...a bit uncomfortable...if you are. Kamisama doesn't want me to cause you any undue pain or suffering." Light smiled at L and gave him another slice, seemingly reading his mind as he did so. "Just make sure to think very hard on how to further Kira's cause, L. We don't want you getting fat." |
L nods and smiles."Of course i will think extra hard." He said gladly accepting the slice of cake. He ate it and then sighs. He stands up and stretches."What time is it?"

Glancing at his watch, Light smiled down at L. They were very similar in height, though Light usually looked taller due to L's hunching. "Nearly midnight. Do you think Near will be overly bothered by being chained to those two? Would he prefer the dungeon?" |
L shakes his head a bit."Near will cope with it." He said sighing."so what happen to my laptop do you know?" He asked looking at Light.

Light smiled. "It's in my room. What would you suggest we do to improve Kira's media image? Half of Europe still calls me a crazed maniac." |
near was pulled to is feet and tugged along to the bathroom. "and here i was hoping i could eat in peace" he mumbled to himself.
"i think i will be fine, if youse two dont move to much" he answered Mikami |
L laughs and looks at him."that my friend is because you are a crazed maniac. Tho i do have to say you have guts for doing such a thing." He puts his thumb to his lip as he usually did when he was thinking. How to improve Kira's Image...hmmm. Was it even possible to do such a thing. Maybe? "How about send a message to the world. Ask them what they think of you and maybe ask them for request to kill some one that is either killed someone in there family or one of there friends that wasn't put to justice?" L laughs at his silliness tho it did kind of make since.

Mikami waited for the girl to finish, then chained her back to Near. "We shall go back to eat, then." Light thought a moment, then nodded. "I suppose it might work. I'd like to get them to see the justice, though. What could we do to teach them to follow me less out of fear and more out of moral rightness?" |
L sighs and shakes his head."I believe in God and fear him because of his judgment so err i mean you." He rubs his head."is it wrong to have two gods? anyway Fear is what leads one to follow get my drift?"

Light considered this, handing L another slice of cake. "I'm not trying to say that they shouldn't fear me. But they should also share my ideals. You believe in God because you believe God is right, and correct, and morally just. The fact that you fear his judgment means that you obey, but you FOLLOW because you believe. That is what I want for my people." |
L sits there for a moment and thinks about it."So offer them love and guidance like God dose us." He looks at Light. "Even tho your going to be a god of this new world you cant deny that the God in heaven isn't there. Also if you show love and affection to something or someone they will follow and obey you. Like for me you giving me cake. That makes me want to follow you and being chained together helps to." He shrugs.

Light nodded thoughtfully. "How would you word the press release to get the most people interested?" He smiled at the mention of cake. "True. Perhaps I will give out rewards to those who have shown themselves to be upstanding citizens. And...a system of spies to find out those who are worthy, or struggling. If a family is starving, my spies would tell me, and I could help them buy food, etc." |
Near tilts his head up towards Mikami. "food sounds like a good plan." he replied with a small smile.
that was one good thing about this place he got to eat! |
L blinks and smiles."see i am a genuine after all. " He said taking a bite of the cake. "How about giving out free brownies." He laughed at his own joke.

Mikami led Near and the girl back to the room Light and L were in, and sat down next to the food. Light smiled. "I don't think that everyone has quite the...attachment...for sweets that you do, L. I'll be happy to give you brownies, though." |
L's eyes lighten up."Really?" He asked blinking. He loved brownies about as much as he did candy and cake. "I want some chocolate to." He blushes some and looks away from Light.

Near couldn't help but widen his smile. hmm food siting himself down on a chair, well that is if you can call his hunched over form really sitting. he became to pile a plate with a few bits and pieces.
pulling out some small finger puppets from his pockets he placed the one of himself on his finger and faced it towards Mikami. "so this Kira school? what exactly will i be learning?" he asked moving his finger to make it look like the finger puppet was talking. |
Mikami glanced at the girl, then to Near. "You will learn about Justice, of course." Spotting a bit of chocolate on L's mouth, Light took a napkin and brushed it away intimately. "You're a bit messy, dear. Another slice?" He gestured toward the cake. |
L blushed and looks at the cake. He was full how much cake had he had in the last few hours he was out? He shakes his head and looks down. His cheeks were red from him blushing from Light whipping his mouth. Did he call him dear? He must of been hearing things.

"do i not already know what i need to about justice?" Near replied with his little hand puppet.
"i have merely changed sides, i can no longer hunt you, or kira, the only right thing to do is bring justice to the wicked and peace to the good." he thought about it for a minute. "let me guess you want us to pretend to be looking for you still but be on your side behind the public's eye until Light is ready to tell the world that he is kira?" |
Light grinned. 'I wonder how much I can tease him before he reacts?' "Well, hun. You should probably get some sleep soon. I suppose you hog the covers? I hope you don't mind....I usually sleep naked, but have decided to wear clothes due to our...closeness. Don't you agree, L?" (EDIT) Mikami nodded at Near. "That would be good. A while down the line, when we trust you enough to take your chains off, especially. We'd like you to tell us more about why you choose Kira's side. Don't mention L or force, and be honest. Eventually you might even see the light of day, if you choose correctly." |
L blushed more and nods slightly not wanting to say a word. He just wanted to craw under a rock a the moment. He put his thumb to his bottom lip as he usually did. He was pretty much beet red by now and he new it. damn his pale skin.
