He smiled. "Fine, fine." He held the candy out mockingly to L. "I'll give you this candy if you'll be a good boy and leave Mint and I alone for a moment." |
Near's jaw drops. "but i..." Be gave up, "Very well be that way, i wish you a fast recovering." he told her as he backed away and sat himself down in a chair, his eyes to the floor.
he sighed. at the remark of Mint and Mikami speaking alone he left the room. "i'll be outside in the waiting room." he told them so as to give them there peace. |

Mint watched Near go and blushes...She looks away and then back at Mikami.. Lawliet pulled Light out with him back to the waiting room to let Mint and Mikami to talk. |
Mikami raised an eyebrow at Mint. "You know...maybe you should marry Near. He really seems to like you...and he's much closer to you in age." He held her hand and sat back to listen to her. |
Mint blushes and looks away."Near dosnt really like me like that..He just messes with me..he even told me that." she then looks up at him."Now for our wedding..i want everything in blue." she smiles up at him."also...i want you to stay with me here while i have to stay please?" she moves over and pats the bed."in the bed with me."

He sits on the bed beside her, putting an arm around her. "But...He is your age. I'm quite a bit older than you. And I'm not going to live too much longer than fifty, if I'm lucky. You'll still be young. Near has his whole life ahead of him. I bet you and he could be very happy with each other." |
Mint slaps him across the face as hard as she could at that age."Shut up I am in love with Mikami-san i don't care how old he is age doesn't matter!" she frowns as she starts to cry. (witch isn't good right after surgery) and now i see you don't like me..you never will you should of just let me die!"

He sighed and hugged her. "I didn't say I didn't like you, Minty-chan. But when you love someone, truly love someone, you want them to be happy. I will probably live to sixty one years old at the very oldest. You'll be barely forty years old, Mint, if we both survive that long. I could die at Forty, and then where would you be? Barely twenty and widowed. I don't want you to have to go through that." |
Mints eyes teared up."i don't care! i just want to be with Mikami-san while i can!!" she said as tears falls from her eyes more.

He kissed her on the forehead. "Alright. I'll stay with you. But be nicer to Near...he might not know exactly what he wants." |
She moved over nad patted beside her."here lay here with me." she said holding the dog he got her in her arms. good thing it was stuffed. She smiles at him.

she nods and smiles and cuddles to him teh best she could with out hitting her stiches."so Mikami has promised me a wedding..i wana get married as soon as we get out of this place..also ...Light-kun told you to marry me!" she smiles up at him.

"We can't get married until you're eighteen. It's illegal." He laughed. |
she looks at him and then away and crys."we can to Light said we could!" she yells. Light and L could probely hear her yell that. "your so mean!!!!!"
Lawliet blinks and sighs."Light...maybe you should talk to Mikami..this isnt good for her when she just got out of surgery." |
Mikami sighed, thinking. I'm sure Light can hire a fake priest. "If you'll rest and be a good girl...we'll make something happen. I'm sure we can find a priest to marry us." |
she looks at him and blinks and smiles."rr..really?" she asked hugging to him. "im so happy." she said closeing her eyes and huged to him and the doggy he had bought for her.

He hugged her to his side, thinking. "As long as you rest. If you relax and be a good girl, you'll get better. I don't want you to get sick again." |
Mint smiles and nuzzles close to Mikami and sighs softly. She loved this man already. She wanted to be with him. Near didnt even try to stay in here with her..so he really didnt care about her..she thought as she fell asleep.
L looks over at near and arches an eye brow."You should go at least be somewhat part of her life she dose like you..i think shes testing you." |
Mikami slipped out while she was sleeping, frantically beginning to look for Light. "Kamisama! Thank god...You have to find a fake priest. Now. PLEASE." Light turned, raising an eyebrow. "...Do I even want to know?" Mikami sighed. "Probably not. But it's your fault. For the love of god...find a fake priest to marry Mint and I. If I don't marry her she's going to pitch a fit, and she is still recovering from surgery." |
Lawliet laughs and arches an eye brow."wow she got to you fast..i think it would be cute for her to marry you!" Lawliet looks at Light."Light dont you agree it would be cute.'
Mint continues to sleep unaware that Mikami had snuck out to be a meani. |
Mikami glares at L fiercely. "It would NOT be cute. CUTE would be a fake marriage. A real marriage would SUCK. Besides, I don't know how it is in the country you come from...but HERE it is illegal for a twenty eight year old to marry an eight year old child." |
Lawliet sticks his tongue out at him."your the one engaged to her not me..." He sighs and looks bored again."If my Mint-chan is hurt by you i will kill you my self."
Mint chan stired feeling that there wasnt anyone in the bed with her..she stires more."M..Mikami?" she said softly..She looks around and frowns."YOUR SUCK A LIER YOU MEANIE I HATE YOU..YOUR SUPPOSE TO BE HERE!!!" she starts to cry. L "....................see........now i get to kill you." |
Mikami raised an eyebrow. "You can try, cake eater." He turned and walked back into the room, snagging a blue balloon from the gift shop on his way back to the room. "There, now, silly thing. You were sleeping, so I went to talk to Light about our wedding arrangements. I brought you a balloon, too. Stop crying, little one." |
Lawliet glares at him as he walks off.
Mint wipes her eyes and looks up at him."r..really?" she looks at the blue balloon and smiles some."You were suppose to stay beside me.." she takes the balloon from him and ties it to th e side of her bed and holds out her hand to him."lay back down." she looks at him more and blushes."what did you ask light for about our wedding?" |
