Light cocked his head, thinking. "Well, she is just a young girl. Can't lock her in the dungeon...but...Mikami-san? Do you have a moment?" Mikami (chained to Near) walks out. "Yes, Kamisama?" Light points to the girl. "Chain her to Near, please. Make sure she's given anything she needs, but she can't be allowed to leave." |
L looks over at Near and arches an eye brow."Hows it feel to be locked to someone?" He asked some what amused. L looks at the girl and walks her over to Mikami "here." He places her arm in to Mikami's hand and then walks back into the bathroom. He looks at him self in the mirror and starts to mess with his hair. He wasn't use to people seeing him with hairs hair not messy..so it felt weird.

"Ummm....Why are we locked up in here? I feel as if I'm missing some important information." Yuki said looking down at her arms.

L stands there and looks around."so Light lets go I want to see the room we are to stay in." he said looking at the younger male.

Near frowned as he was dragged out of his cage and chained to Mikami. of all people why him, he complained to himself.
They soon entered another room where L and Light were as well as a young women. Near only took a short glance at her before turning his attention back to Light and L. He went to open his mouth to say something but was cut off as Light ordered Mikami to chain the girl to him. His mouth opened slightly in an attempt to say 'what?' but nothing came out. looking down at the chain that now bound him to the girl he tilted his head. Much better then tape..... he thought to himself as he began to study the links in it but was soon distracted as L spoke to him. "Better then being locked with him" he nudged his head in Light's direction. all the while he's body remained hunched and close to the floor his gaze soon followed before he raised his hand to his hair and lightly began twisting it through his fingers. |
L looks at Near and arches an eye brow."at least I don't have both arms chained to someone. Now I'm out of cake...i need more." He turned the empty plate over and pouted in his L like pout.

As he twisted his finger through his hair the chain jiggled that little bit, following the chains links with his eyes he traced it right back to Mikami, "Indeed and it is totally unnecessary, what if one of us has to use the bathroom?" now fallowing the other chain from his other wrist his gaze stopped on the girl. "she is female after all, they seem to like there privacy."
raising his head once again to look L in the eyes he frowned. "you have a point, it seems they do not trust me as much as they do you, and i'd like to keep it that way." |
L laughs some and shakes his head."Just deal with it N." He walks over and leans down to look at him in his sitting potion and smiles. "You have to have them both in the room while taking a shower or using the bathroom trust me i know i just got out of the shower." He sighs.

Light smiles charmingly. "Well, Near. I imagine a smart boy like you can manage it. I couldn't chain her up in the dungeon, she's just a girl, after all. I can't chain her to Mikami...He has to have a hand free in case he has to shoot you. No offense. This way Mikami is able to both protect me, and to keep you two under his control." Light smiled. Mikami nodded, lifting Near's hand above his head to demonstrate. "It would inconvenience Kamisama if I were unable to protect him. That would also greatly displease me. If you hadn't made the grave mistake of trying to harm a God, you wouldn't be in this situation." |
Near raised an eyebrow at this. "you say that he will be able to protect you?" he replied to Lights comment with his had still in the air above Mikami's head.
"yet you've tired two people that do not wish to be restrained to one man, if we wanted to we could always over power him?" Near wasn't trying to intimate rather show that having three chained together would be somewhat of an inconvenience no matter who was in the middle. "or is it that you find this amusing?" he asked shaking both his hands in the arm to jiggle the chains. leaning closer in towards L he smiled. "it doesn't concern me all that much but as Light just said she is a girl, i dont think she likes this idea to much." ((LOL all i can think of right know is 'three some' XD *tries really hard not to write in post XD*)) |
L looks at Near and nods."so the girl will cope with it or be locked in a dungeon." He shrugs. "Unless she rather be locked in a dungeon with no cake or tea."

(XDDDD MikamiXNearXRandom girl. Mwuahaha?) Light tips his head in acknowledgment. "Yes, that does have a possibility. However...if at any point it looked like you would overpower him, Mikami would write your names in the book. Your deaths have already been written down. They are only missing a name in front so that we can 'personalize' it for you. To make myself perfectly clear...If he even suspects for a moment that you mean to do us harm, try to escape, etc...You will spend the next twenty three days being tortured to death." |
L yawns and looks at light."wheres our room so i can see what our bed looks like is it big enough for us both?" L asked tilting his head a bit.

Near sighs as he realises he has been beaten once again. "i have told you my point as have you, you have my word i will not try to escape." giving his word to kira made him feel sick to the stomach.... or maybe it was just hunger.
He yummy rumbled and he seemed to blush a little, not only was he captured threatened to be tortured and chained to his worst enemy, he was hungry. lightly swallowing he hoped that no one had heard that. shifting his weight he cleared his throat. |
Light winked at L. "Oh, it's quite big. You'll see it in a while. In the meantime, how about we go get some cake? And some food for Near...I suspect he is quite famished by now." Light raised a hand and the masked servant brought out a large triple chocolate cake. They disappeared, and reappeared soon later with a pot of tea and a bowl of sugar cubes. Disappearing again, they brought an assortment of foods out and set it next to Near. |
L's eyes widen as he seen the cake and walks over to it and cuts himself a piece and then gets a cup of tea and puts 6 sugar cubes in it."Cake sounds really good now."

"I thought you might like it." Light smiled at L, taking a piece for himself. |
Near slightly turned his head away as his name was mentioned, even though they were his enemies he felt like a slight inconvenience at that point in time.
as the food was brought out and placed next to him his mouth began to water, he swallowed and licked his lips trying not to think about it, "come i?" he asked being polite, this was not his place or his food so he thought it only right to ask. Even as a prisoner he would not loss his manners. |
L clears his thought and smiles some at Light."Well its very much appreciated Light." He looks at the cake and blushes a bit. but it was gone so fast if no one was looking they would have missed it. He eats the cake slowly and sits in his position in a chair.

Just because you wish my demise doesn't mean you can't partake of my food. It is freely given, after all." He looks at L. "Well, feel free to eat it all. Though you'll have to share." He winked. |
Near refused to look Light in the eyes but said thankyou. "thankyou, i appreciate it alot."
reaching for the tray he went to grab something but stopped short changing his mind he grabbed half of a sandwich that seemed to have ham and cheese on it rather then the sweets. Taking a bite his mouth began to water as the food hit his tongue, taking a bit out of it he savoured the flavours as they rounded around in his mouth, his mood brightened alittle, and his stomach seemed to ache less the more he ate. L looks at N and arches an eye brow."As always your such a child." He said happily eating his cake."This is like one big family aside form the girl don't know her." He said taking a sip of his tea.

Light smiled, lifting his glass in silent toast. "I believe we will eventually get along without the use of death threats. We will soon be close to a family...if one considers the Japanese tradition of completely obeying the will of the head of house. We'll get along, since I'm completely willing to take suggestions from you all. I don't expect unthinking compliance. What fun would that be? As long as you all realize that you will obey when it really matters, I'm fine with individualism." (Really going to bed now. Really. XD) |
