"What are you talking about? You've been smoking anyway," he replied, pointing at the dish while narrowing his gaze accusingly at the lieutenant. Quote:

Stepping into the room, he snatched a mug of coffee off the desk of one of the soldiers and grinned, "Well I have a good place." Sipping it he sighed, I have to get out of town now, otherwise I might kill someone. "Soooo... Who wants the best coffee in central?" He grinned at Fuery and Ross.
((sorry bout that guys, Been wrapped up in my rp)) |

Kain copied Ross's salute, standing rigid as he did so. He gulped, a tad nervous. He hadn't personally met the colonel before, so he was unsure as to what the man was like.
Nodding as Ross spoke, Fuery added, "Actually, coffee sounds great." |
"Oh! Hi there! Sow your Fuery eh? Oh relax relax. You can't be so formal with me." Grinning he shook his head, "It's just a title." reaching out he grabbed Ross's wrist and tried to pull her out of salute, "Now. Isn't that better?"
Turning to Fuery he added, "You too, relax!" Sighing, he rubbed his temples and groaned, "right, Just call me Heinrich, got it?" |
Cya was now half asleep, being that the sun had gone down and she was tired. Zachary, of course, was carrying her into her room that they had rented. Like always, Cya got the bed and Zachary dozed off on the chair. In her mist of awake and sleep Cya began thinking a bit. The people that came up the café seemed really nice to her, but she knew Zachary felt otherwise. The girl, Gluttony, what a strange name, was a bit overly friendly. But that was why she thought she was so nice.
Then again, she was normally warned about her habit of being too trusting. ((I don't know what to post! TT^TT Noooo!!!)) |

"Um..." Ross didn't reply because personally she didn't think that such... laxness was acceptable in a military environment, but she didn't say that either. "Where did you have in mind, sir? I can find Bloch and meet you there so we can brief the two of them at the same time." |

"Right, My place. I got the best coffee in central." He chuckles, pushing them out of the door, "Go go and get whoever. Lets go, chop chop. Time is money." He pushed them down the hall, "Besides. We have alot of work to do with you people."
|
"Ah! Uh, y-yes! Yes, sir! Right away, sir," Fuery gasped, surprised by the sudden action. Then, turning to Ross, he inquired, "So...Lt. Bloch is part of this investigation as well?"
((Mizuko, you used Bloch first and then Brosh--I think because of the anime/manga thing :P)) |
(Gak!! I edited... but that's seriously confusing. XD I guess I'll just call him Bloch then... and I'll be RPing him for the time being I suppose... although if anyone else wants him, by all means! :3 I guess it's a good thing he and Ross come as a pair. XD)

"Oh, right! Of course," Fuery replied, watching Ross as she quickly left their sight. Then, turning back to the colonel, he looked at him expectantly and asked, "Are we going to wait for her back at your office, sir?" --- At West City HQ Devi aimlessly wandered the nearly-empty halls, completely at a loss as to how to pass the time. She meandered down to a small library, scanned over the numerous books shelved there, and plucked a few from their spot to glance at later. Then she turned down a few corridors, passing only a few officers that hand not already returned to the barracks, and slipped into the cafeteria. Slowly, she walked up to the main counter and placed the few platters that were left over on a tray. Nodding to one of the servers, she grabbed the tray and sat at an empty table. She ate in silence, kept to herself, and kept her gaze on her tray, trying to avoid the scant remaining officers around her. She could hear their conversations, her sensitive hearing unintentionally honing in on personal discussions and complaints about paperwork. For a military officer, she really didn't have much to do. She didn't work in anything that required paperwork, not normally anyway, and she wasn't out on the frontline. At the moment, she just played the part of a soldier, used the title--nothing more. It was...a bit boring...and she found herself envying them slightly for that. Finishing everything but a couple rolls, Devi stood and cleared her tray, wrapping the leftovers in a napkin and stuffing them in her pocket to snack on later. Putting up her tray, she quickly exited the cafeteria and returned to wandering the halls. As she reached to door to the communications sector, Devi stopped and glanced at a clock located at the end of the hall. It's still too early to call, she thought disappointedly, surprised to feel somewhat lonely after hearing the other officers socialize. Tugging up on her sleeve, she snuck a peek at the chicken-scratch numbers inked on her arm and was relieved to find that they had not smudged. Then sighing, she tucked the books from the library under her arm and reached for the door, promptly entering the room and closing the door behind her. I'll just wait in here anyway... |
Havoc was almost back to his appointed office when his stomach gave an odd little gurgle. He paused, not having realized he was hungry until it had sneaked up on him, and glanced up at a nearby wall clock.
"Huh..." I probably have time to grab something in the mess hall, he thought, turning back around and starting in the direction he had just come from before going down a different hall. After a few minutes, he arrived at the cafeteria. "I'd just like something to go," he told one of the workers, who looked slightly annoyed at being bothered for something like that, before heading into the kitchen. Leaning back against a wall, Havoc scanned the room, wishing he had another cigarette. |
Armstrong looked up from his tray momentarily and noticed a familiar face across the cafeteria. Standing, he made his way over to the lone soldier, arms swept wide as he approached.
"Lt. Havoc, what a wondrous encounter!! It's such a shame to dine alone!!" Alex greeted, giving the lieutenant a strong clap on the back. Placing a sturdy hand on Havoc's shoulder, Armstrong added, "It's been far too long, comrade! Come, join me and tell me how you've been!!" |

"You're not cleared for that information." He shook his head and pressed him along quickly, "wait to ask that after we get out of central." He leaned closely and pulled Fuery around the corner.
|
"Ah, y-yes, sir. Sorry, I wasn't thinking," Fuery apologized. He remained silent and allowed the colonel to pull him along, knowing full-well that there was no use in trying to do otherwise.
|
He grunted, "And enough of this stiffness." He pushed the other man out into the parade grounds and nodded at the fuming guards, "Sorry guys!" Pulling Fuery out into the side streets, "Coffee first. How do you like yours?"
|
"R-right...sorry," Fuery apologized again, cringing as he realized he did so. He looked at the irritated guards, wondering what had gotten them so upset, and replied, "Um...I guess, um...regular, sir? Usually just cream, no sugar."
|
"MM? Sounds good. I like a straight forward man. We got too few of them around here." He pulled him into a small little hole, dark, the smell of coffee rising from the back wall, "This bar has the best coffee, but the, regulars, are less savory."
|
Fuery glanced around at the slightly-ominous-looking place, surprisingly feeling even more uncomfortable than before. He followed the colonel into the bar, anxiously looking about.
"Um...so...what do you suggest, sir?" Fuery inquired, thinking over his choice of coffee. |
He tapped the table as the bartender chuckled, "Usual Colonel? Or somethin a bit... stronger?"
"The usual Frank." "And for yer friend?" "Usual." "Right than, two double shot espresso's with a sprinklin o' mocha." "Thanks." Motioning to the seats around a small corner table he grinned at Fuery, "hope you don't have any heart problems, these things have a bit of a kick." |

Fuery took a seat at the table, continuing to look around sheepishly. He turned to the colonel and asked, "Um...how is the captain supposed to find us?" ((Ross is a captain in this thing, right?? Just making sure...>_>)) |
He grinned and shook his head, "Oh, if she doesn't ask one of the boys in Analysis, she won't have too long to wait." He lifted a small vial he had hidden in his glove, "pheromones can be a powerfull thing."
