((Nobodys been posting :o...And im waiting for a responce to my post XD))
|
((I know what you mean. I'm off in limbo until someone shows up to interact with me. I can't really post anything else, because it would just be gold farming.))
|
OOC: Ack! Sorry, I was waiting for more people to post but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen. Also, it seems like real life has ganged up on me recently. Everyone in the world decided to come visit one after another and school got very hard all of a sudden. Alright, let's see if we can get this thing moving again, shall we?
Naruto nodded at the paper in front of him. He had come up with a viable team to send out on reconnaissance. They needed to find out what was lurking around their border that could take out an entire squad, including a jonin. He called for a messenger and when Satoshi didn't come running. He flagged down a random ninja and sent them out to find the people on the list. The young messenger went looking for Souji first. A few questions led him to the academy and he spotted Souji's marker. He hurried down the slightly overgrown path and saluted the higher ranking ninja with a small bow. "Souji-san. Naruto-sama requests your presence at eight AM tomorrow." He blurred away to look for Nagi. Moegi nodded, "Excellent. Alright, since it's gotten so late, we'll call it a day and resume tomorrow. Get some rest. I'll be testing your abilities tomorrow. Meet me at training ground one, at 7 o'clock sharp." |
Souji stopped his training to listen to the messenger. There were questions he would have liked to ask, but he wasn't given the chance. In puzzlement, he asked them of himself instead, "The Hokage wishes to see me tomorrow morning? Whatever for?" He couldn't imagine what business the Sixth could have with him, especially so early in the morning. Then he brightened. Perhaps it was a new team assignment. After he had been made Chunin, he had been given a number of solo assignments or assigned to temporary squads when his skills might be needed. It would be good to have a more permanent team again...if that was what the Hokage had in mind.
|
"Alright! See you tomorrow sensei!" Kaito practically yelled and then slung an arm around Hana's shoulders and smiled at the two girls on his team, "How 'bout we all walk together? It would help to get us to know each other better, or something like that." Tenshi barked and then started tugging on Kaito's pants leg, already hungry and wanting to go home.
Kaida inclined her head and then let her eyes fall on Kaito. She smiled slightly, though it couldn't be seen and then nodded, "That sounds...nice." |
"You ready, Satoshi?!" Kaori called from the top of a nearby tree. After sending her squad off, the jounin had decided on an impromptu training session. With the help of her teammate, the two shinobi managed to set up targets on various surfaces throughout the training area. When the dark haired ninja below gave the go ahead, Kaori back flipped from the branch she was standing on, simultaneously unhooked one scroll from her back, and flung it open. She bit the tip of her thumb and smeared the red liquid that resulted in a smooth line across the summoning symbols that covered every inch of the scroll. Weapons appeared instantly in a cloud of smoke and she began throwing them at various targets.
Meanwhile, Satoshi sought refuge behind a boulder several hundred yards away. He was careful not too place a target near his 'safety area', knowing all too well just how accurate his teammate could be. |
OOC: Sorry! I was behind in other stuff. @[email protected];
Sano in shock suddenly froze in her spot where she stood. 'Why can't I move?!?' she thought trying hard to move. 'My arms won't even budge!' She rotated her eyes towards Shikaharu. 'I knew it! Ah, Haru you clever genius you.... she thought to herself. She had no idea what was going on but it seemed to be Haru using his Shadow Possession Jutsu. |
OOC: People! Yay!
Konohamaru clapped his hands and smiled brightly at his team. "Alright, that's enough for today. Remember to be here on time tomorrow." He added with just a slight edge to his voice. "Dismissed!" Moegi watched her team walk off with a small smile. She'd been a little worried about them, after she heard what happened at the graduation. She was pleased they seemed to have put that little bit of ugliness behind them so quickly. |
Shikaharu released Sano from his clan's kekkai genkai and smirked lazily, "Sorry I had to do that Sano, I just wanted to get this match over with. Anyway, excessive force shouldn't always be the main use of a ninja's skill." He thumbed in the direction of the exit of the forest, motioning for her to follow him. He'd heard Konohamaru dismiss the group and walked slowly to his fan and gathered it, waving sluggishly at the three females and flew away on his fan. It took him awhile to get home and he had a lot on his mind, ranging from Haruto, the new member of the squad, to working on new techniques. Some would say that he is a very active Nara even with his laziness accounted for.

((Okay, first of all forgive me for being impatient. Anyway, I was just wondering how long you want to wait before going ahead and doing a time-hop to tomorrow morning. Seeing as how things are going pretty slow right now, I can't be the only one wondering. I think probably no one else knows what to continue with either. Forgive me, though, if I am completely misreading the situation.))
|
Sano gasped as she heard Konohamaru dismiss them from training. She let out a sigh and Shikaharu let her go from his kekkai genkai. 'Finally.' she thought. "Ah, it's fine Haru-kun. Besides, I bet your pretty beat after that battle. We could probably go to Ichiraku Ramen." she suggested. After all, it was a long day. Sano picked up her sword and placed it in its holder. She then walked along with Shikaharu to catch up with the rest of the team and waved at them. "Hey guys!" she greeted.

OOC: A time skip to the next morning is my plan but I'm out of town with limited internet access until Sunday. I was going to do it then when I can be on to post regularly. Is that okay with everyone? I'm sorry for the delay but Naruto is going to be heavily involved for a bit and i didn't want to get in the middle of a briefing and then leave you waiting for a couple of days.
|
OOC: No complaints from me Boo. Do what you think is right.
|
OOC: Same here. I just wanted to make sure I knew what was going on.
|
OOC: I'm fine with it. No complaints here. :)
|
I went poof again, but thats fine XD
|
OOC: hey im kinda lost and was wondering if some one could pull me up to date
|
OOC: No one has moved. I'm sorry I didn't post as promised. I've been sick. Feeling much better and ready to go from the start of the next morning.
Konohamaru arrived in the training area a little early. He stifled a yawn and leaned against a tree to wait for his two students to arrive. Naruto was already in his office. There were several hours before his first appointment but he had paperwork to do so he had decided to make an early start on the day. |
Shikaharu laid slumped over on his bed as he slept comfortable until his clock shook on his nightstand, falling off since he didn't turn it off right away. With a depressed groan, he leaned over to cut it off and yawned slackly as the sheets covered his head, but kicked them off. The words that Konohamaru said drifted through his violently and knowing that he would carry our his threat, Haru sat up and threw on his clothes. He walked to the bathroom to prepare himself for the day and his head was still reeling with questions regarding his new teammate, Haruto. This situation could wait as he decided he would ask his dad about such a thing. After he washed his face, the Nara walked back down the pathway and knocked on both Kaida's and Kaze's doors, "Hey get up. It's almost time for us to get going and I'm not waking up early just for Konohamaru-sensei to work me like a dog. I'm going to go eat and if you two aren't ready I'm leaving without you both." He walked back to the kitchen and saw his grandmother pacing around the room busily as usual. "Hey grandma, how was your sleep?" Shikaharu took a seat at the table and began to munch on the food in front of him.
Lexi woke up hyper and went to sleep in the same manner. There was not a time that she wasn't an utter perv or bouncy at anytime of the day. She hopped out of bed vigorously and shuffled over to her closet to put on her work-out outfit. She ran out of her room and grabbed a couple of fruits off of the table. After taking a few bites of her breakfast, she yelled out to her mother with her mouth full, "I'm going to the training area if you need me. So see you later, Mom." She hopped through the village, doing aerial flips and other tricks on rooftops. Not long after, she came across a small, familiar clearing and saw a tall figure standing in the middle of it. Lexi waved over to her sensei as she landed immediately in front of him and grinned jubilantly. "Morning Sensei, see I told you I wouldn't be late. Now what are we doing today?" |
Sano laid on her bed with the bedsheets covering her head. *BEEP!* *BEEP!* *BEEP!* She listened to her alarm clock ringing constantly. The more it ringed the more frustrated she was. She quickly sat up with a annoyed expression and threw her alarm on the wall. The alarm clock broke within contact with the wall also leaving a small dent. Sano stared at the dent and scratched the back of her head. "Great, now I'm gonna have to invest in another alarm clock...." she said. Sano shrugged as she left the thought alone. "Well, now that I'm awake I might as well get ready for another training session!" she said. Sano jumped off the edge of her bed and walked towards her closet beginning her daily routine. After she finished getting changed and brushing her teeth she ran into the kitchen and grabbed herself some toast. She took a bit out of the bread and dashed out the door trying not to be late like the last time. She nibbled on her toast as she ran quickly to the training area and stopped beside Lexi. She bent over as she started to huff and puff trying to catch her breath. "H-hey sensei! I c-came early this time!" she said as she walked over to a tree still trying to catch her breath.

parents shikamaru nara and temari age 14 appearance http://public5.tektek.org/img/av/100...21/5e75229.png personality he is lazy just like his dad loves to sit in the shade and let the cool breeze flow by not only does he know some of his dads jutsu but his mums as well he is not as smart as shikamaru but is a little faster and has more chakra jutsu he uses shadow possession jutsu then brakes it leaving the opponent stunned while he launches an Ariel assault separate shadow jutsu were he uses his fan to physically separate him from his shadow so they can double team and finally multiple shadow jutsu he steps directly under the sun summoning four individual shadows |
OOC: Arch, you need to read all the rules and instructions as well as the character list. Applications are to be PMed to me not posted, and you did not use the form. Well, what do you know. I thought everyone had quit when nobody replied for so long.
Konohamaru nodded grimly. "I'm glad you both made it on time today. Now get to work. I want you to climb a tree over there using your feet only. Up and down as many times as you can. Keep count. This exercise will help you decrease the chakra you waste when you perform jutsus." Kaze blinked sleepily at her ceiling before letting her head drift to the side to look at her clock. "It's five AM, baka! I don't need to get up for hours. Go away." Shinji woke when the sun crept in his window and warmed his face. His insects buzzed contentedly in the familiar warmth of his chest. He sat up and stretched, grabbing his glasses off the small table beside his bed and sliding them into place on his face. He showered and dressed quickly and then slipped out into the gardens in the Aburame compound and settled himself comfortably to meditate. Naruto stood and stretched, turning to look out his office window at the awakening village. It sent a warm feeling through him to know that the village had been at peace since he became hokage. The though also sent a frisson of fear through him as he considered the recent smattering of attacks near the borders and the slaughter of the chunin team just days before. Whatever was lurking outside the village was not going to be allowed to jeopardize the peace that had taken so many lives and so much work to establish. OOC: I know I said 4AM for the two troublemakers but we'll speed through those first couple of hours so Haru can get involved too. |
The next morning, Souji was up as soon as the first rays of the sun made it past his curtains. This wasn't too surprising, considering that he had been barely able to sleep the whole night. Checking the time, he saw that he still had a while to wait before his meeting with the Hokage, so he slipped on some ratty old clothes and went quietly about his morning chores, using the time to think more about what the Sixth might want from him. After he had finished his work around the house, he showered, changed, and ate a quick breakfast. By then, it was close enough to the time he estimated he should leave, that he decided he could head out early, and simply enjoy the morning walk.

Sano nodded. She walked towards a tree and focused as much as she can making sure the chakra goes to the right place. Her eyes were closed for her moment of concentration. 'Lets see if I could get it on my first try...' she thought. she then opened her eyes and run up the tree. 'I'm doing it...I'm doing it!' she thought excited. as she reached the bottom of the first branch she fell off. She was falling head first until the flipped in the air and landed on her feet. 'I didn't do it....' she thought with a sweat drop. She let out a deep sigh and tried again. 'Maybe I'll get it on the second try??'

Haru shook his head nonchalantly as Kaze yelled in response to his unexpected wake up call. He got up from the table and walked back down the hall to his sister’s room for a moment of privacy. Knocking on the door softly, Shikaharu poked his head into the youngest Nara’s personal room and whispered coolly, “Hey Kaze, this is weird for me to come to you like this, but I’m in a bind right now. So are you willing to help your big bro out?” He perched himself on her windowsill, opening it and sitting himself in between for an immediate escape once Haru and his sibling had their talk.
Lexi smiled at her cousin Sano when she’d arrived, but to her dismay, she couldn’t really talk to her because Konohamaru gave them an assignment. “Aww, Sensei, do we have to do this now? I think we should at least rest for a little bit.” The bodacious genin poked out her lip in an endearing manner, hoping her teacher would cut her some slack. She looked to Sano and her eyes told her cousin to go along with it. Hopefully if two of them pressure him, they would have less work to do. |
