"Little," Chiyoko asks with an edge to her voice. She swallows what she was going to say and says, "Well at least I'm not lazy." She starts walking into the city.

Daku yells after her saying, "Hey, its not my fault these jobs are so damn boring. I'd much prefer hunting down some assassins or something that might involve combat." He leaned in the shade, letting the shadows crawl over him thinking, "All this excitement over the ninja dying but no action... this blows. I think I'll spar with the old man later, maybe I'll win this time."

Chiyoko ignores him and says to Saiuri, "Doesn't he realize that the safety of the town comes first?" *ruff* "I hope dad doesn't get angry at us for switching jobs." Chiyoko picks up a stick and throws it. Saiuri runs after it.

Sorry, I was doing homework. Just started Highschool a few weeks ago and Math isn't giving me any mercy :gonk: I was waiting for Cassidy to reply. o 3o;

The small hawk looked up at the sky, seeing that the sun was sitting high in the air and remembered that he had other people to inform about the urgent message. Flapping his wings slowly and started to pick up speed, he took off into the air. Familiarizing himself with the winds once more, the young bird circled over the two genin’s heads and soared over the Village Hidden in the Leaves, catching sight of a boy near the Head Stones overlooking the village. He halted himself until he could stop and address the boy. “Excuse me sir. If I am correct you are a genin, right?” The tiny hawk knew that if he wasn’t careful, someone who wasn’t intended could intercept the draft for young ninjas.

Shikaharu gave an impish grin when Sano said that she was in on the plan. “Good, now that we have our team’s cooperation, we need to get back to Sensei and start our training. No one says a word to him about it. I know he is a cool adult, but we don’t want any kind of hindrance when it comes to this operation,” he said bluntly. His intentions were good and he didn’t mean to sound harsh, but the point had to be put out there some kind of way. Haru threw his fist between the three teammates and gave his trademark smile that was mischievous and slack.

Lexi listened to Haru’s speech, but felt a little uneasy about his attitude. Although he won her back with his smile and his extended hand, she slammed her fist into his. Looking up, Sano was the only one left and she knew her cousin well enough to know that would probably toss her hand into the ring of friends, mainly because of her loyalty. “I say we give those ninja goons hell. I think we should all contribute some sort of trap.” Lexi gazed at her partners to see if they were in agreement with each other about their next course of action.

Kazu stood outside of the hokage faces and looked at the city with is byakugon and even though he had only actived it for 10 minutes his eyes were beginning to give out. "come on just a little bit more" he said trying to focus it out. Right before it closed out he noticed his dad with to of his followers heading for the village gates. "Dad! Dad!" he yelled out hoping that he would hear.

Neji was in deep thought as he went from house to house but heard his daughters voice. Quickly turning he noticed her standing next to Kazu, but as he blanked she disappeared out of his sight. "Kakuhiro, did you- nevermind", he stopped himself realizing that it was only in his head. "Look son, if you see you mother tell her that i am off on a mission and will be back soon".

((oops...sorry Boo >.> got caught up with school stuff. I can't post until the weekends though >.> so i'll try for tomorrow but I can't promise anything at the moment.))

Chiyoko wandered about the city having Saiuri sniff for traps on the way. Saiuri was a clever mutt with a keen sense of smell and a sharp mind. She knew what to do often before Chiyoko did and that was just fine. Chiyoko kept an eye out for her dad, hoping to find him and inform him about the change in jobs. She hoped he might have somethng more worth while for her to do. Odds were good that there weren't any traps in the village anyway.

Sano smirked at her teammates and extended her fist and slammed it on the top of the 'pile'. She nodded to confirm her agreement. "Alright, let's do this thing." she said. She was now excited to help set up a trap. It reminded her of those times where she would help Lexi prank those people around the village. Good times...well, excluding the memories of getting introuble that is.

OOC: Just a heads up. My father-in-law is in intensive care, in septic shock. I may not be on much for a little while. Sorry. Feel free to keep going, and I'll post when I can.

Watching his father leave for the village gate Kazu noticed a small hawk in front of him. "um.... yeah" he answered hoping that the hawk was friendly. "Why who wants to know" he asked standing as if he wasn't afraid to attack.

Daku made himself visible as Neji passed saying, "Hold it right there. I'm going to need some proof that you are who you say you are."

Neji looked at him confused,but didnt mind seeing as how the young chunin was doing his job. "Look i know that your doing you job but i have to meet up with my squad. those are direct orders from the hokage.

Daku smirked saying, "Yeah, yeah, Hokage said blah blah blah. If you don't show me something proving who you are then I'll be forced to skin you alive." Shadows formed around Daku's hands into 6 inch claws as he shifted his weight slightly, ready to attack at a moments notice.

Neji sighed putting his hand over his head,"Not now kid i'm a Jonin so that means i out rank you" he said jumping over the kid. Moving down further he stood there waiting for the others to show. "Where are the others" he questioned looking around. It had been an our since his meeting with the Hokage and the others.

Daku sighed, taking a step after him before leaning against the wall again thinking, "Ah, to hell with it. If it's a disguised assassin then let 'em leave, I could care less."

The small hawk squawked angrily, “What is it with you people? Why is everyone trying to kill me?” He clicked his beak impatiently before remembering his task. “Genin to trustworthy jounin are to meet Lady Lexi and the lazy boy from the Nara clan at the Hero’s Stone tonight. I should hope you know that you can’t tell anyone unless they fall under these classifications,” he screeched sharply before flapping his wings and taking off again to find other people to inform of this session.

Flying around, the tiny bird spotted a girl who was running with a dog. She seemed to be doing something urgent, but this wouldn’t stop the hawk from fulfilling his mission. He circled over the girl’s head and called out to her in a piercing screech before lowering himself to the ground in front of her.

Haru gave his trademark grin before taking off to set up the traps around the village’s perimeter. He turned around occasionally to see if his teammates were still following him as the boy tossed strategically planned paper bombs that were colored to match the color of trees. “Hey Lexi, Sano, you guys feel free to throw any traps you may find useful. We need have to do this and do it right,” Shikaharu informed the two girls.

Lexi marched behind the boy and reminisced over how much fun she thought the whole trap setting sequence would be. When Shikaharu gave the okay that they could throw in their own styles, she went headlong with it. Pulling out thread, she leapt into the trees and laced them with thread, all while avoiding the already booby trapped trees. Even though this wasn’t going to do that much for the squad, it would possibly buy them time if the situation called for it.

Chiyoko peered at the bird. "Who are you?" Saiuri stood her ground in front of Chiyoko, guarding her. "I assume you are a messenger of some sort, so what is your message?"

Sano nodded. After taking a moment to plan a trap, she took a pair of leather gloves and wore them before she took out a sharp, thin, metal wire. She hooked them up to multiple trees to create a trap that catches any ninja that steps on or in them and hangs them by the leg. Sano wasn't sure it this would work, but she knew it would keep those ninja's hanging and bleeding at the same time. When she looked back at the traps from afar, she barely noticed that they were there. She sighed in relief, took off her gloves and placed them back in her pocket. "Well, I've done my part." she said with a grin and a chuckle.

The tiny hawk chirped nervously when he noticed Saiuri and flew over to the nearby ledge. “I-i-I was sent here by Lady Lexi and a lazy kid from the Nara clan to inform any genin to jounin that will prove trustworthy for a meeting tonight at the Hero’s Stone. So if you would please try to keep this out of earshot from anyone who might endanger this operation, it would be greatly appreciated,” he whimpered out of fear of the dog. Feeling as though he completed his duty in this area, he took off to the skies again to look for more people. Pretty soon he came across a genin at the mouth of a cave and repeated the same cry to let him know that he wanted the boy’s attention.

Shikaharu stopped and analyzed the traps that were set up by his teammates and himself. All in all, everything seemed to be in place and fully functional. “Alright ladies, I think it’s time we made it back to Sensei. Don’t want him to send out the hounds,” he said, tying his hair up into a ponytail. It wasn’t something Haru hated, but he also didn’t really care for it either, but this was an occasion he found worthy. Waving his hand in satisfaction, he ran in the direction of the training area.

Lexi smiled at the traps that she and her cousin put up. She was actually proud that not only might her traps help defend the village, it would probably bring embarrassment to the person who fell for it. “I really hope someone falls into those snares. It would be funny to see their humiliation, don’t you think Sano?” She knew that since her cousin had close sense of humor compared to hers, Sano would be antsy about seeing such a think befall an enemy ninja. With a small nod, Lexi replied, “Yeah, we may need to get as much practice in before tonight, besides I want to try to climb the tree again. As painful as it was, it was kinda helpful when you think about it.”
