"Well you can't really blame him... Amaranth was the same way when she woke up... luckily i wake up before her." Feng finishes her cup of klah and pours herself another. "This'll be great!"

"What did you need, Selea? Yes, by the way, Terrin finally caught me for the dress she was making last year, and there are a few of the younglings from here ready to be shipped to Fort for your Hatching," Sheryn said, smiling at Selea. "Do you have any idea on when it'll happen?"
~Soon, that's for sure.~

"Yeah, once I wake up some more," Hamon said, pouring himself another cup.
~You already had some, let's go! I want to fly with you!~
-Tikith, You have to wait, it's not even class time yet.-
~We could try without K'ton around...~
-And what if we get hurt?-
~I wouldn't let that happen!~

Feng drinks her cup and waits for him to finish his and says, "Okay! Lets go!" She grabbs their stuff and runs it back to the kitchen, and back over to him so they could go to thier class.
'We get to fly now?'
-Yup!-

'Oh no you don't!' Amaranth springs into the air building speed quickly to overtake Tikith 'I'll beat you!'
Feng changes direction midstep and sprints to catch up to the taller youth. She laughs at his excitement. "No way you'll beat me!" She barely catches up to him by the time they reach class. She collapses just in the courtyard.

T'ran flew into Southern smiling as he saw the young werelings racing to a courtyard. -You should inform Lumelith that we have arrived. we should try not to cause too many ripples. I doubt they even know that I'm a male riding you.-
'I'm sure everything will be fine' Misuth contacted Lumelith. 'She has been informed.'
-Well then lets meet our new werewoman-

Hamon comes to a stop, panting and laughing. "You're still fast. I need a head stert to beat you."
~Aww, you beat me... Oh, well. I'll beat you next time.~ Tikith landed, turning to lick Hamon. ~We get to fly soon!~

K'ton looked up from the book he had. "Oh, you two are here... Well, we have to wait for the rest of the class to get here."


~The gold and her rider have arrived. They are to be living here, right?~
-Yes, I had known that we were getting one from another weyr. They were quiet about who, though.- Sheryn looked up at Lumelith, then on to the gold circling in the sky. -Let them know they can come down.-
~Alright, the gold's name is Misuth.~

"You sure we can't get a head start on the rest of the class? I mean we're kinda super early and stuff."
Amaranth licks Tikith back and curls up next to Feng.

'Lumelith says to come down. I think she and her rider are just over there.'
-Well no going back now... lets go- They circle down to where the werewoman and the others around her were.

"I'm sure, it wouldn't be fair," K'ton said, going back to his book. "And I did that once, got yelled at for it."

"Aww," Hamon said, patting Tikith on the head.
Tikith turned to Amaranth, Licking her nose. ~Gotcha!~


Sheryn watched the Gold and her rider fly over and land. She stared a momant at the rider, suddenly knowing why the other weyrleader was so quiet about it. "You're... a guy. Is that why you were sent to me? I mean, I know most of the other Weyrleaders hate me, or at least dislike me, but, really?"
~He is her rider, that is that. He is good, if a bit different.~

"We have to wait that long?! Well that hangs it, I'll just go and get everyone so we can start. I've been waiting for a year and now when i'm so close, them sleeping is going to ake me wait more? I don't think so." Feng gets up and starts to head to the sleeping quarters.
'Think we should stop her Tikith? Or should we see how Hamon takes care of it?'

T'ran dismounts from Misuth and walks to the weyrwoman. He bows and says, "It's a pleasure to meet you," with a sly smirk on his face. He looks around. "If this is an example of the beauty held in this weyr, then I am a lucky man." His eyes which had been a deep blue a moment ago turn bright green.

K'ton shrugged, continuing to read.

~We'll wait and see.~
"Um, Fenghua'ng? I don't think that's such a good idea... I mean, they're probably on their way already," Hamon said, stepping towards her and holding out a hand half-heartedly. "I..."


Sheryn looked the man top to bottom. "Well, at least you match," she said, a sly smile of her own on her lips. "But if you can keep up in this heat, after being up north, then you've really earned your place."
~His eyes change, like the dragons. And what would Sedna think of you flirting?~
-She knows I do it all the time, it's just fun and games with me.-

"Huh?" Feng looks back to him eyes huge and blinking. 'That's not fair Feng.' -so... i love the effect it has on him.-

"Nice to know. So... Where am i to sleep? It is important to know where i may... amuse myself in my off hours." He looks around. "Very nice place by the way." Kirit flies down and lands on his shoulder. "This is Kirit. I'll assume Lumelith has already told you Misuth's name. I guess by this lovely lady's expression that you were not informed that i am not of the fairer sex."
'you talk alot more when you're nervous. And why are you flirting with the weyrwoman?'
-She is pretty and i like to flirt-

Hamon blinked and dropped his hand. "Right... yeah," he mumbled, blushing. "Go on, then..." He turned to look intently at the wall next to him, fidgiting a bit.
~Amaranth, Feng cheated!~


"No, your old weyrleader didn't tell me. He's getting an earful later, though," Sheryn said, shaking her head and smiling. "And I don't believe that there is a fairer sex, just that some people are easier on the eye than others."
~He asked about his room, Sheryn.~
-Right...- "This way, you room was cleaned out a couple days ago. Terrin's going to have to make you suitable clothing for the climate... I might stay and watch that."

Feng smiles slyly, "Well... I guess you're right. We could wait for a while."
'That's what i told her, but she thinks it's too funny, so i think she'll keep doing it.... sorry.'

"Promise?" He gives her a leering grin and follows her.

Hamon nodded, still looking away.
~Well, tell her it's no fair! He doesn't have the heart to say no to her!~


Sheryn turned, leading T'ran off to his rooms. "Well, when you put it that way..," she said, looking slyly over her shoulder.

'I can't very well bite her evry time she does that. She'd die.'
"I guess I should catch my breath before we start flying anyway."
'Tikith says to stop it Feng'

'It's not fair'

"Lead the way my lady" 'I think i'll like this weyr'

"Yeah, it could be bad if you can't breathe..." Hamon shook his head violently, starting off to sit down.

"Well, I'll let you know now that I," Sheryn said, "Am no one's 'lady'. You have to get that straight before anything else. I may be the Weyrwoman, but I am not a lady. The Lord Garin of Southern Hold could tell you that, along with several other 'facts'."
~I don't think that's considered flirting.~

"Ah, but you see. I was not claiming you, nor was it a slight on your prowess... in any way. But if you would prefer i call you something else... you have but to ask."

"Weyr Woman! COME ON.... Your really gonna wanna see this!" He jogged up behind her, "Its really good. CMON!" He sighed, "Or... I guess I could tell the lord holders first."

Hamon sat down on the grass, still pointedly not looking at Fenghua'ng.
Tikith glared at Amaranth. ~Make her stop, he's still blushing!~


Sheryn shook her head, stopping at a door. "It just goes back to a time in my past with Garin. If I hadn't Impressed, I might have wound up the Lady of Southern Hold, is all." She opened the door. "These are your rooms. And call me Sheryn, by the way. Everyone else does." She looked over at him. "That or Weyrwoman. Now, J'lor, since you're SLOW! Now you can tell me."

"Hey. I made sure I came back before heading to Benden!" He winked, and grinning held out a sheet of paper, "I found something. Look at these." he pointed at one image on one side and almost mirror image on the other. "Whattya see?"

"so... flying. Gonna be fun."
'Oh... He just blushing. He'll be fine.'

"Well then Sheryn, thank you for showing me to my room. I'll just leave some of my things here, and be out in a moment." T'ran got his things off Misuth's back and brought them into his room. He comes out, "Shal we?"

"Yeah... um," Hamon looked at Fenghua'ng. "That's not exactly... nice. When you do that..."
~It's still mean. She should stop.~


Sheryn nodded at T'ran, still trying to figure out the paper.

"This is sams blood." He grinned, "and this is," he shook his head looking over at Wiketh. Whats her name?

Soliurn the dragon grumbled.

"Soliurn's. blood..." He grinned, pointing at some small dark patches on the dragons, "its... we dont know quite what they are, but these are the ONLY difference between dragons and lizards."

"Sorry... It's just... You're so cute when you blush. And it still amazes me that i still have that effect on you. It's been a year."
'Well he seems to be sticking up for himself now. Don't baby him. He'll get more comfortable with time.'

Seeing Sheryn was busy, T'ran turns to the newcomer, "Well hello. I see that sheryn wasn't lying about me matching. What's your name?" T'ran gives him a debonaire smile as his eyes change color yet again to a pale violet.
