He burst out and shivered off the cold of between and into the cold of the air above Benden Hold.

"Whats taking you so long J'lor?" A voice echoed out from the ground below

Wincing, he called silently to Wiketh, Bring me in. We shouldn't have to take the abuse for too long, I wonder what Benden wants at a Fort hatching?

Just ask him.

Dropping down from Wikeths side, he grinned and waved at Sapir "Well how are you this morning Lord Sapir?"

"I have no time for your nonsense J'lor. Are we going or not?" The well dressed lord snapped

"Of course Lord Benden." He said coldly and climbed up reaching down for his cousin to pull him up before giving the call to lift off.

Feng looked around the almost empty Weyr and sighed. "I miss the hustle and bustle of life around here."
'You could have gone with to Fort.'
"I needed to get my things and doing so while Sheryn was away saved me some hastle."
'But you do get to spend the day with Hamon.'
"True, and that should be fun enough."
'He's coming now'

~Amaranth! We're here.~ Tikith bounded around the corner and pounced at Amaranth, Hamon following at a slower pace. "Hey, Fenghua'ng."

"Hey!" Feng bounds toward him glomps him, while Amaranth dodges Tikith and leaps into the air. "I have something to show you! I finally got the chance to go out and get it."

Hamon blushes and says, "Okay where is it? And what do you mean you went out and got it?"
Tikith leaps into the air and darts for Amaranth.

"I hid my most prised possesions in a cave on the coast when i wa still on the streets and haven't been able to go get them until now because Sheryn and Kaden are away. C'mon Amaranth!"
Amaranth avoids Tikith and lands next to Feng, 'She's showing Hamon what we went out to get this morning. Lets go.'

Sheryn smiled at Selea. "You look lovely, dear. And a good sized clutch about to hatch, even with the Thread gone. I wonder how big they'll get," she said, walking over and leaving her room. she wrapped a scarf around her neck, black and gold like the dress. "Lumelith should be ready to rise soon, and I hope the rider will be a good Weyrleader, or I might have to tie him up and continue doing his job."
~The rider has to be good, the dragon won't catch me otherwise.~


"Wait, won't that get you in trouble? We aren't supposed to leave the weyr without permission!" Hamon said, following Fenghua'ng.
~Well, she needed her things. So she got them. She doesn't seem to be in trouble.~

"Not in trouble. T'ran was too tired to be angry. Let's go. I have all of it in my room now."

Feng shrugs. "Yeah. But he was too tired to get upset and he is pretty laid back as it is."
'He's getting a bit flustered'

J'lor burst into the air above Fort with a bugle from Wiketh, "So. Sapir. Whats so urgent you had to be at Fort Weyrs hatching?"

"Leave that to me J'lor." The older man snapped

Gliding slowly to the weyr bowl Wiketh snorted. He's sure on edge isn't he?

Tell me about it. What could have him so angry? Shaking his head as wiketh landed with a bump and shuffled, leaning low for J'lor to slide off and pull Sapir down. "Right. Wiketh, don't go taunting the other dragons. Its not nice." Waving at the brown he sighed as he heard a disdainfull snort. They don't mind.
Don't
Right... Right.

"Then i take all the blame and get us both out of trouble like i always do." She looks into his eyes from inches away and says, "I may start things, but I always finish them." She brings herself closer with every word and when she finishes, she kisses him lightly on the lips.

Feng broke off the kiss gently after wrapping her arms around him as well. "Now. Let's go to my room and I'll show you what I was going to show you. And after... Well we'll see about after." She gives him a peck on the cheek and look up at him in a 'Shall we?' way.

"I finally have somewhere safe to keep the things i managed to keep from when my mom died. It was really hard to keep it all away from the other whores and urchins... and donn't worry about my feelings on this one. It happened years ago, and I'm pretty happy now."

~We are here~ Lunair chuckled as she landed near the weyr bowl. She seemed to think her joke was funny considering that they have been her before and she actted like this was thier frist time.
"We could just fly around some more. I am not in a rush unless you are?" I said as slipped from her back and took Kith off from around my neck. He flew around us checking everything out as if it just popped up out of no where.
~Well i would actually like to see what males are here.~ Lunair said as she turnned her head away from me as if she were blushing.
"Okay, but don't be to sure about any of them. They may have someone already." I said as i walked into the building and looked around the vast place. Kith came flying in as if he owned the place, he flew around the whole place trying to find a perch he could rest on.

Glaring as he watched his cousin walk quickly across the bowl, Hey... Wiketh? Was it just me or is he looking a bit thin these days?

He was lighter if thats what your asking. But I thought humans weight changed all the time.

Your right. Probably worried about nothing. Hey, I think I'll take a look around. I haven't been in a porper Weyr in a while. he began to wander aimlessly and watched as riders, guests and weyrfolk ran around preparing for the feast. Chatting and discussing the events of the day. "Right... I don't really know most of these people. I bet half of them have never even BEEN to landing."

Sedna nearly walked into J’lor as she moved contently, a sparkle in her eyes that made them seem a little less black and a little more blue for once. She paused as she saw him, her asymmetrical layered skirt hitting against him lightly she got so close. The fabric was slightly transparent and seemed to have green thread hidden among the various shades of blue so it looked almost like the ocean as it moved and undulated. This added to it’s plunging neckline made it seem far more revealing then what she usually were though as always she had those elbow length black fingerless gloves on and her back was completely covered. “I…apologize I wasn’t looking where I was going…” Said a now very, very embarrassed sedna as she stepped back.

He turned and grinned, "Don't worry about it lass. Happens to me all the time." He shrugged, "Quite a turn out today hmm?" Glancing around the bowl again he sighed as he spotted his fire lizards flitting around, "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TWO TO BEHAVE!" he bellowed and shook his head, turning back to the young woman and shaking his head, "Sorry about that. Right... I don't think, your from southern as well right? Hmm?" leaning closely he furrowed his brow, "I don't see you much... and can't recall your name. Something with an S right? or was it a Z?"

She nodded as he spoke of the turn out, glancing at the fire lizards in thought. She was not surprised when Den attempted to play with them by reaching to nudge one gently with his head even as J’lor bellowed. For a moment Sedna suppressed a smile though her eyes still seemed to be touched by its warmth. She only turned away from the sight as she heard J’lor speak.

Glancing towards him she flushed as she saw he had leaned close, surprised and suddenly wishing she’d designed the dress a little less…erm…flattering. She’d known more then Sheryn would see it of course, but nobody else got close enough really…. Glancing away and nodding she murmured “Y..yes S. I’m Sedna and I believe you are J’lor” She answered absently, not surprised that she was not remembered.. No one but Sheryn really noticed her either due to her quiet nature so it did not surprise her much…

He tapped his chin, "Right... Right... Blue rider right?" He shook his head and grinned, "Sorry Lady Sedna." He shrugged, "I am always so busy around landing that I never really got to get to know you very well." He glanced as the lizards began to toy with the blue. "HEY!" He shook his head and glared, Wiketh?

The big Brown dropped down from where he had been resting and landed next to them with a thud as he snorted and groweled at the lizards Leave the blue alone little ones.

"You didn't have to show off you know?" He glared at the dragon, "So... Don't do well with crowds hmm?" He looked sideways at her, "Can't blame you on that one."

She nodded lightly as he spoke, shrugging as he called her Lady sedna and glancing downwards. She hardly would call herself a lady… Seeing him shout at the little ones she looked up, watching as Den continued to try to play with them. He didn’t seem bothered…on the contrary he enjoyed it it seemed…

As he spoke to her, however, Sedna glanced back to J’lor and managed a small smile followed by a nod. “I suppose you could say that… I am merely never quite sure of my place one could say….easier to observe…” She murmured, looking down at her shoes.
