Sheryn hurried down to the hatching grounds, the humming of the dragons almost feeling like a pressure in the air. She did spare a glare for the Weyrleader of High Reaches, teal eyes hard enough to cut stone with. He recoiled a bit from her, and she swept past him to her place.

Sedna paused as he spoke, glancing back and nodding. She may have said something but thought better of it and continued on her way as he spoke to Lyna as she considered it rude to interrupt. She was about to take her place when she saw the familiar form of Sheryn enter. She couldn’t help but smile a little at the other woman, such her opposite in looks. She was truly a beauty and despite the currently purely casual and physical nature of their…relationship for lack of a better word something about her mere presence always calmed Sedna down and made her feel at ease. She smiled and nodded towards her, reaching over to trail a hand along the other woman’s shoulder subtly before returning to her former watching place.

Shern saw Sedna's nearly naked, along with Sedna's little secret of why her back, arms, and shins are always covered, and erm asked her into bed. Sedna being attracted to Sheryn and a curious little virgin lol said yes. XD They've been sleeping together off and on ever sense but there's been no expression of feelings between the two and Sheryn still flirts with everybdoy so Sedna assumes taht's all there is and all there's ever going to be lol. She doesn't know how she feels herself xD she's new to the whole romance/sex thing.))

[[Lol, I'm more worried about if I can play them both equally active ^^; since R'el is new, no one yet knows about him. He can be such a devil, I won't tell more than that :3 Actually I based him of a highschool friend, kinda. My start point was him, and he was a sexy bastard I have to say ._.;; But his eyes were plain blue-grey, they at college a few days ago I met a friend with such gorgeous eyes. They really looked so bright in vivid hues of green over the blue base, bewitching and very beautiful, I could propose her if I knew what her reaction would be D: So I stole her eyes and donated to R'el 8D We all have pretty characters here though, I'm not sure how R'el will choose among one XD Though he's pretty much indifferent about everyone. People need to leave an impact on him so he'll start growing intrigued to learn more about them. Social bugindeed XDDDD]]

"That is Sedna, i don't know very much about her just that she is really shy." Lyna said as she reached over and scratched Deliha over the eye. Kith gave a puff of smoke as she did so, Lunair continued her humming as it slowly got louder. She smiled softly, this was the frist time that she listened to Lunair to talk to someone. "She is a wonderful person, if you get to know her. I just haven't been around enough to get to know her." She stated as she turnned back towards the front, a sad, soft smile came across her face, she couldn't help but feel a little sad even though this was a happy occasion.

Selea looked around in her seat for her daughter. .....she's going to miss her first Hatching...sad...just sad... She looked at the Grounds. The eggs started shaking. "It is time!~" The Candidates fidgeted with excitement as they stood. The dragons' Humming became almost deafening. The 28 eggs, a gold, 9 Bronze, 6 Blues, 7 Browns, 4 Greens and one rather small almost translucent egg. She saw the first Bronze egg cracking. The dragonet pushed its way out of the shell, looked around scanning the nearest people squealed then went silent as one of the candidates screamed out his dragon's name. Two more hatches went successfully, Selea was nervous. ....That one egg.... She looked over at the smaller egg. ....and By The Egg Where is She?!~.... She shouted in her head.

R'el frowned slightly, that face silver haired rider making wasn't a comfortable one. It's not the kind of expression one does, talking after someone you hardly know about. Something must've happened, he was new in the weyr, new faces, new relationships... everything had a "new" in front of thier title and name with capitals! He didn't think much on the subject though, hence the alarming voice of weyrwoman announced hatching eggs. A wide grin cracked on R'el's face, proud and arrogant.

"Nine bronze dragonets." he said joyfully aloud.

~And yet an egg to hatch..~

~Then don't let your mouth go ahead of your mind. Besides, I believe you were to do something since you first arrived weyr. ~

"By the shards... I almost forgot!!" R'el bellowed, turning to Lyna.

~Admit it, you already forgot before I reminded it to you...~ Zephira grunted with annoyment.

"I have something to do, catch you later." he smiled to Lyna. "Let me know if it's a white!"

He walked across the room, among the overly joyed weyrlings, squealing, moving, hugging and crawling all over the sand. He passed by Sedna, glancing at her briefly as he walked by her. Then he stopped noticing Selea, whom he saw as the only authority that caught his eyes. She seemed disturbed, but still focused on the hatching, watching over the event carefully. He stepped backwards, then stopped by Sedna for further information.

"I need to speak weyrleader, or any authority figure available at the moment." he said in a low voice, leaning slightly to the wavy haired girl. "I'm kind of scared to ask her right now but, she is the weyrwoman, queen's rider, right?" he looked at Sedna, his head tilting towards Selea.

~Are you really determined to prove me worng about your intelligence, or is this a new record you're trying to break?~

<I'm still working on it, thanks.> was the goofy answer of the bronze rider.

Sedna glanced over to him a moment, blinking in surprise that he stopped to talk to her. As he spoke she nodded, playing with her glove in a habitual way a moment. “Yes… there is also Sheryn the wyrewoman of my wyre there…” She pointed her out slowly. She then named the various other leaders there, pointing them out individually. ((hehe insert all the npc leaders her xD))

She then placed her hands in front fo her, curling her fingers together. “I do not mean to be rude… but what do you wish to speak to them about anyway?” She asked in an almost timid voice, uncertain it seemed. She glanced down then, feeling her question rude but unable to help herself. Curiosity was the most important for her it seemed… As he and the dragon spoke a small strange smile flickered across her face for half a second but she suppressed it quickly./

[[Sedna can hear other dragons as well?? Lol, that's a scarce ability if I remember right. Because he's been speaking to the dragon telepathicaly]]

R'el nodded, as Sedna named the weyrleaders present there. Giving his all attention to the information told him, his eyes were flickering with a keen, intelligent shine. Bronze rider looked back at Sedna, after her question he smiled with a low chuckle.

"If you didn't notice yet, I'm new in this weyr. Oh, I didn't introduce myself yet! R'el." R'el offered his hand for a handshake. "Bronze rider from Ista Weyr, I was sent by word of my weyrleader. I guess they needed a hand in here, that or he was way too eager to get rid of me." he laughed.

~Second part is more likely the truth.~ Zephira's voice echoed in his head.

((right on both counts :P there is reason Sedna can though >.> but shhhh it’s a secret. The only one who knows is Sharyn and her dragon, and of course Sedna’s dragon. And so is he going to be at southern wrye(like pretty much everybody else including sedna) or is Lady Selea finally going to have her first non npc dragon rider? xD ))

“I see, I do not often come to Fort weyr so I assumed I simply hadn’t seen you yet. I’m stationed at Southern weyr.” Sedna explained with a soft smile, nodding to the introduction. She returned the handshake and bowed her head slightly, saying quietly. “I am Sedna, a rider of a blue. I do not know why he would want to get rid of you, you seem nice enough….” She murmured quietly. She tilted her head to the side a moment, subtly studying him from under dark lashes before glancing out at the hatching in thought again. He was a curious person….. Something unexpected.

~Lyna......it is a White can't you tell by the shell?~

~Yes Lunair i can tell but it doesn't mean it will hatch. We will have to wait and see and it doesn't mean that it is a White either.~

~But the shell Lyna......~

"Okay i will see you later and let you know if it is or not." Lyna said to R'el as she smiled and watched him walk off, Lunair pushed her as she continued her humming, and brought Lyna back to the conversation.

~Luna, it may not hatch because her or his partner isn't here.~

~It will hatch, Lyna.~ Lunair said with reassurance in her voice, she continued to stare at the eggs in front of her. Lyna restted one of her hands on the back of Lunair's neck and began to scratch Kith behind the eye. Lyna looked over towards R'el and Sedna, she felt like things were getting interestting, but she couldn't help but feel like she was one to be avoided by people sometimes, she turnned her head back towards the hatching and pasted a happy smile on her face.
