"Hehe your too cute Yami" Howell laughed. <(yes he is gonna call her Yami)> Howell looked outside and realized it was as dark as it would get. "We should go home. I wanna make sure Getsu is home" Howell said standing up.
Momiji looked over at Haru and sighed. "I don't want to be here when Shigure comes home" Momiji said looking around at the still broken house. Yuki looked at Howell and sighed. Don't all leave...then I'll be blamed for this Yuki thought madly. She looked around the broken house and giggled a little bit. It was pretty funny they had done all this without her noticing. <(I seriously can't believe no one wants to play shigure XD)> |
"You go." Inuyami said with out looking at Howell. "I'll stay a little longer and help pick up the mess. The door is an easy fix and really only one of us needs to go find Getsu." She stood up handing the miniture version of Kyo to her white haired brother. "Take him with you, please?" Not waiting for a reply she walked over to the broken doors and started to work on it.
Inuyami didn't care when or how Getsu got home, infact she didn't care if he never came home. Getsu got the most time with their mother, Shinichi, in the last few years of her life. He was her baby no matter what but the fact that all three of her children would never be 'normal' crushed her. All three children got their white hair from her and Inuyami and Getsu got her beautifully stunning yellow-orange eyes, where Howell got his ocean blue eyes from their father, Miroku. It wasn't so much that Inuyami hated her little brother, but more jelous of him. He was the only thing that made her smile and being mearly a year younger then her, he got all the attention she never got. She hated him for the way her parents treated her, blaming him for the route of all her suffering. |
"Ok" Howell said taking the cat from her. He looked at Yuki and waved bye before disappearing out the door. He found Getsu wandering around outside. "Getsu why are you out so late?" he asked madly. His brother never seemed to care about his health. Howell walked over to him and then stared at him. He was a very protective brother besides the fact that his mother never taught him what to do in emergences and junk. He steered his brother home and when they got there he pushed his brother towards his brothers room.
He walked to the sitting room and spotted his drunk father yelling at the t.v. that had nascar on the screen. At least none of his friends were here. Howel shifted on his feet debating whether or not to go back to get Inuyami. He put Chibi Kyo down and he ran around his knew home. Howell sat in the room with his father and reluctantly watched with his father while waiting for Inuyami. Yuki immediatly got up and started to help Inuyami. She wasn't good at this type of thing but it worked for her. Well as long as she didn't get in trouble. She just hated getting in trouble no matter how you look at it. |
"Domo. (Thank you.)" Smiled Inuyami as she thined a glob of glue across the wood of the door and pressed paper down on top of it. She looked at Yuki and watched as she tried to figure out just what exactly she was supposed to be doing.
"Here," she said, handing her a large thin piece of paper, "try it like this." After a demonstration, she leaned back with confedence in Yuki. The half of the door she'd been working on was fixed and now it was time to move on to the floors which where littered with debris. "Where is the broom and dust pan?" She asked her cousin. |
Yuki copied what her cousin did and actually did ok at it. She froze when Inuyami asked and turned to look at her cousin. "Umm I'm not sure if Tohru were here she could tell you but feel free to look around the house" Yuki told her. She went back to working on the door. About ten minutes later she had finished her side. She admired her work and looked at the remaining people in the house.

"What happened?!" Tohru exclaimed as she ran up to the house. Deep down inside she knew that Kyo had probably gotten into a fight or something of that nature had happened. Leeks tumbled out of a grocery bag as she let it fall to the ground. The house was in such a mess! |
Yuki swirled around and stared at Tohru. "Oh you know Kyo and Haru fought and then it all sort of just happened ...we fixed the worst of it so don't worry... do you know where the broom and dust pan are?" Yuki asked.
Momiji looked at Tohru and smiled. He ran over to her and picked up everything Tohru had let fall. " Hi Tohru, Kyo and Haru got crazy" Momiji laughed. <(hallo!)> |
By the time Yuki had finished with the door Inuyami had cleaned the rest of the down stairs. The floors were mopped and the walls washed but there was still much to do as far as putting things back where they belonged.
"Onigiri-chan," Inuyami folded her hands in her lap and bowed, "gomen nasai! (I'm sorry *formal*) I meant to have this all cleaned before you returned. Haru and Kyo... it got a little heated." "Where is Yuki?" Haru asked hoping maybe he had been out with Tohru. (Helo and welcome. btw everyone, I like to use japanese when i write but I'll always put the english translation after in brackets (). It's good practice and hopefully i can help you all learn a bit more about Japan.) |

"...Oh never mind she found them I guess.Yeah Tohru where is he? I didn't see him at all today" Yuki said looking at Tohru. She smiled slightly. Yuki never really talked to Tohru so she tried now. |
(haha yea i did. basically because that's how she's drawn in all the mini comics within the manga. plus, it's from the fruit game she played as a kid so... it seemed to fit. I'm off for the night most likely here soon, but will do my best to be on tomorrow durin the day since i'm going to a college for the day.)
"Sumimasen (please excuse me)," Inuyami said with a bow as she readied herself to leave. "It's getting very late and father will be more then furious with me if I don't get home to make dinner soon. I had a good time even though I spent most of it cleaning and hope to visit again soon. Oyasumi nasai. (Good Night *formal*) |
"Good night Inuyami" Yuki said watching Inuyami. Yuki looked at Momiji who was holding the bag Tohru had dropped. They were about to fall out of his hands but Yuki took them from the short boy. She brought them into the kitchen and put them onto the counter before soming back to the others. "...Tohru come in its not like were gonna eat you" Yuki told her.

Kyo gritted his teeth as he heard the brother and sister talk about him. He finally had enough and poked his head down from the roof. "HEY! NOBODY ASKED YOUR OPINION ABOUT ME HOWELL!" He was about to grab a whole bunch of insults, when his ears perked up at the sound of Tohru's voice. His eyes went wide with excitment and he slightly smiled, only to let it drop so no one would see it. He dropped down and then blushed at the mess. "Yeah... About that... sorry Tohru... BUT IT WAS HARU WHO STARTED IT!" His teeth turned to fangs and then he relaxed and offered a broom and dustpan from a nearby closet.

(No i'm not fluent but I'd like to get those Rosseta Stone Language Programs to learn it better. I agree with you though Pip, the culture, art, language, writing, sports, religion, region... it's all just breath taking and inspiring. I wish sakura (Cherry Blossom) trees would grow where I live. I know there are some in Washington (state) but that's the other side of the country for me. haha
Another BTw, calling her Yami is fine. Yami and Inu are usually what people shorten it too) Haru didn't say anything to defend himself he just asked again, "Where is Yuki?" His face seemed to grow with concern the more he had to ask but it seemed as though no one had the answer to the one question that ment the most to him. Inuyami got home less then twenty minute's after she had left Shigure-sama's (Lord Shigure's) home. She dreaded opening the door for a few minutes as she stood frozen in though on the front porch. I hear the race... he's drunk again isn't he. she thought of all the time he'd been drunk before. All the yelling and the breaking of furniture, the abusive words he spat at her and the threats of kicking her out gave her uncontrolable anxiety, but she always did as she was told. Entering she hardly had time to take off her shoes. "Zat you mutt?" Miroku yelled from his lazy boy love chair in the living room. "Hai (yes), Gomen nasai for being late. I was helping Shigure with his house work." She lied. If she had told him she was cleaning a mess someone else had made instead of making him supper he'd of lost it. "Zat's like you damn mutts..." He sleered over the rim of a sake bottle. "Always doing other thing then what your 'upposed to be d*hick*doing." "Forgive me father." She bowed in the door way to a man who wouldn't even look at her. "I'll start dinner now." Inuyami returned to the kitchen and threw together some rice, beef and soy sauce. After delivering a large bowel to her drunkard father she called up there stairs to her brothers. "Howell, Getsu... Dinner is ready when your ready to eat." And with that she went out to the back porch and just sat their with her kitten, wishing for something better to come along. |
Kyo just huffed a reply to Tohru, then sat down on the porch and looked at the mess. Suddenly, his nostrils flared as he caught a stench of something...horrible.
He lept from his spot and then stared at the bag of leeks not too far away. He pointed a threatening finger at it, gawking. "GAH! Why do you buy that stuff?! I WON'T EAT IT! IT'S DISGUSTING!" He backed away from the food, and then fell right off the porch. He landed in some bushes underneath, but stayed there due to some thorns poking in his skin. "Aaaa...ow..." |
Yuki walked down the path to Shigure's house silently. He spotted Tohru then the house. "Wha..?" he asked himself still standing in the middle of the path waiting quietly, mouth opened slightly, and not sure what he was waiting for.
Shigure had come up behind Yuki and poked him in the back. "Don't stand there like that you'll get mugged" Shigure laughed. He turned and looked up at the house. He stared for a few seconds and then walked up to Tohru. "Tohru do you happened here?" he asked. "Shut up you stupid dog no I won't" Yuki said before Shigure had seen the house. He followed him silently. He stood on the vancant side of Tohru and sighed. He looked at Kyo who was occupying the bushes. "Fall on a flat surafce again?" Yuki asked frowning. |
From inside the house something caught Haru's attention.
"Fall on a flat surface again?" It was the nezumi (mouse/rat) Yuki Sohma, the only person Hatsuharu really got a long with any more aside from his little sister Kisa. "Yuki," Haru said from the door way, ignoring Shigure's inquasition of the mess in the home, "can we talk?" His worlds were solemn and slow in tempo. |

"No Tohru no dinner was made" Yuki told her. Yuki looked over at the two newcomers. She looked around at the misplaced house. She turned back to Shigure and frowned. She seemed to be cut off from the others. This seemed to happen alot wherever she went. Howell woke up on the floor. He rubbed his head and realized he had fallen asleep. He heard his father from in front of him talking about Inuyami as if she were a dog <(which she is but anyways XD)>. "Father don't be rude" Howell told his father. He walked into the kitchen and looked at Inuyami. "Sorry I fell asleep" Howell mumbled. Momiji jumped when the two came out of nowhere. He He stepped back from everyone and smiled. We really should go home Momiji thought to himself taking another step away from them all. He stopped and looked around the dark woods. |
(opps sry for the spoiler but yes, Haru is Kisa's older brother. In the manga you don't learn it until like book 5 or later i don't remember since I read them so long ago.)
"It's okay." Inuyami said, assuring him that the sad look on her face wasn't because of him. She was bent down and feeding Chibi Kyo pieces of beef and kibble. "Hurry and get your dinner or it'll get cold." She urged him trying to move past the events that had taken place only moments before hand. Miroku wasn't always like that, at one point he was actually a proud douting father to his children and enjoyed them, but when he lost the love of his life his mood was forever tainted and turned sour. |
<(awwww I'm only on book 7 > :l oh yeah invidia isn't gonna be on till thursday i think so pretend Getsu ate and stuff ...I guess I have to let my brother on if you want Yuki to be posted XD)>
Howell smiled and ate his dinner quickly. He went up to his room after say goodnight to Getsu and Inuyami and passing out on his bed. |
Kyo opened his eyes to see his enemy above him. "NO! AND MIND YOUR OWN BUISNESS YOU CREEP!" He got up, going to punch Yuki but ended up pausing and then wincing as the thorns went deeper into his skin. He plucked at them, trying to get them off, and suddenly lost his rage to Yuki and turned to the thorns. "Gah.. stupid pokey, painful bastards!" He dropped to the grass and started rubbing on it, trying, but painfully failing, to get them off, but only ended up getting them deeper inside. He gritted his teeth, stood up, and pointed at Yuki. "YOU JUST SHUT UP! No one asked your opinion you damned rat!" He spat towards Yuki's way, then jumped up on the roof and started working on the needles.

After everyone had eaten Inuyami did the dishes, staitened out the kitchen, picked up her father's beer and saki skeletons and headed to the attic which she had made into her room. The house Miroku had bought with the insurance money he'd gotten from Shinichi's death, was big but not for three different aged siblings and a drunkard father. There where two room which, by pecking order, went to Miroku and Howell. Inuyami cleaned the dusty attic out to make her own room and Getsu was forced to sleep in the closet under the stairs. "Someday," she told herself, looking out the only small circle window in her room at the full moon, "I'll leave all this behind me and never come back." She finished up her home work and decided to go to sleep, Chibi Kyo by her side on the pillow. (Sorry I can't stay longer but gotta catch the last bus back towards home. May not be on until tomorrow. Yuki sighed and shook her head. He could at least try to be nice to Yuki. She followed Kyo up onto the roof and gave him a sideways look. She walked up to him and sat down next to him. "Do you need help?" Yuki asked. If Kyo said no she would leave and walk Momiji home or something. |
"Haru not now"Yuki said. "At least try to show like you know what your doing" Yuki said when Kyo aimed to punch him. Gets upset over the stupidest things...why are those even here? Yuki asked himself. He turned away from Kyo and ignored him. He looked at Tohru and smiled like he does so good.
