After the attempt to bring her first mansion back to life, Rose decided that it was time to move to a new and darker district. Where night life grew more and more active as the years passed. Danse Macabre was constructed in the Red Light District, or as most humans called it the Area of No Return. It was an area that mostly non-humans roamed and only the breavest, weirdest or down right stupidest people dared to go to. The fear of being taken from the light and into the dark of night is what kept most humans at bay of the Red Light District. But as the years grew longer, business began to bloom as more non-humans came out to the public and established a place among the world. Years of co-existing brought more and more humans over to the Red Light District.
Not too far from town was an old castle that hadn't been inhabitated since the early 1900's. No one knows why it was never torn down. Some say that some evil creature protects the land while others consider it haunted by the people or race who used to live in it. What ever the reason Rose managed to buy the castle and its lands. Here she would start anew and bring new life (or undead) to this place in hopes that she may be able to keep it. It was on this day that she named the castle Danse Macabre.

-If you wish to rp in a not so peaceful way please put a warning to all staff in OOC (( For those who dont know what OOC means : Out Of Character)) to let us know that you mean no actual harm in the thread and that it is nothing more than an RP.
-A semi-peaceful Enviroment. Those found to disrupt it to a point where most staff is involved will be PMed by me and either we will talk about what we can do to correct the matter or they will be banned.

Not Allowed:
- Bumping (i.e. saying something impersonal and n00bish like "bump" wink . Please either RP, converse.
- Godmodding
- N00bishness. For Example: "hawt girlz send me ur pix" and/or "wuz up!!!1!1". You will be ignored, mocked, or quite possibly decapitated.
- Leet speak. *winces*
- Questing. Is a no no here.
- Page Stretching. This includes endlessly quoted comments! If you don't know how to trim your quotes, then learn.
- Pic posting. Regs (people that have been posting for more than a few months) can go ahead ~ others cannot. It gets too chaotic and people do not seem to know how to trim quotes anymore...
- Cursing. If you feel the need to curse, please censor! I.e. say "f#ck" or "n*pple*

On Cybering:
We don't mind affectionate RPing, but if it gets too hot to handle you need to stop. Please note that cybering in PMs is against the ToS. Be mature and know your limits and don't make us intervene. Read the ToS and stick to PG-13.
- No public "closet sex".
- Graphic language. "Pounding", etc. Know your limits, people! Geez.
- No "white text" sex. Just because it is wrtitten in white doesnt mean it circumvents the ToS or isn't visible by everyone. Obviously.

Building Details

Danse Macabre is pretty much just like any old castle you can find out there. It has four wings on the upper story, three of which house those who live there and one which holds a massive library, sitting room and an armoury. Two towers and a barracks for the guardsmen and women. On the ground level inside there is a large ballroom for parties, a dining hall, aviary with exotic birds and a entertainment room. Outside we have stables, a garden with a maze, training grounds and an arena. The mistress of the castle owns 100 acres of rolling hills and grass land on which the castle sits on the highest hill overlooking the city. A wrought iron fence with gargoyles stands protectively around all 100 acres of land, seperating the land from the city.

North wing- holds all guests rooms that may care to stay with the castle and its employees. All rooms except special guest rooms are modeled in the same 1900's style with fake fur instead of real. Most of the rooms have been kept the same as in the 1900's except for the modern moderations for bathrooms, electric and most beds. For heating there is a large fire place that can heat the entire room and will be tended to by a maid or servant. For cooling just open up the glass windows to let in a breeze. Special guests rooms have been moderated as best as can be to fit the style required for the theme. All guest rooms are adorned with gold and purple wall hangings, a few rare and priceless artifcats, and portraits.

Special guest rooms come with: Plush beds that meet the theme, a single spring day, walk-in closet, adjoined sitting room, clean sheets, bathroom, breakfast and dinner.

South and East Wing- each hold 30 rooms for the employees and Imps that keep the castle in running condiction. Each room may be designed by the employee to fit his or her need so long as it requires no construction or modifictions that will destroy the originality of the room itself. Each room must have the colors green and silver adorned somewhere in their room as a requirement.

Rooms Include: any style of bed, theme of your choice, some materials for said theme, closet, bathroom, clean sheets, meals and 2 and a half weeks of vacation time.

West Wing- holds a grand library with a collection of books to read, comfortable chairs and many sun spots for that warm reading. Absoultely NO fire, food or drinks are allowed in this room for many of the books are old heir looms that cannot be replaced nor are any of the books allowed to leave this room. If any are found or reported stolen a hunt will be organized for the criminal by the castle guards.

Our Ballroom is twice the size of the dinning hall and can hold up to 200 people. From time to time the mistress may hold a party or grand ball for her guests. If a guests wishes to hold a party in the ballroom he or she must speak with the mistress to discuss a price for renting the room. The ballroom is done in colors of pearl, gold and light blues. Marble flooring completes the atmosphere of romantic dances and fun times. A portion of the roof is pure glass made so one can look up and see the stars at night. Some dress codes are required depending on the type of use of the ballroom.

Ballroom Hours: Usually closed to public until a party is organized.

Connected to the ballroom is the garden that is the pride and joy of the castle because of the 5 acres dedicated to it. There are an assortment of pathways that hold exotic and non-exotic flowers with benches for private conversations. Each pathway holds a piece of art to be looked upon with admiration. One pathway will lead to a maze at the back of the garden where 5 acres are dedicated to the fun of the maze. In the heart of the maze there is a prize to be found but not retrived.

Garden hours: Dawn to midnight except during parties.

Our kitchen has been recently remodeled to meet the standards of even todays most finest cooks. Easily the kitchen can hold up to 10 staff memebers comfortably in the working area. A medium length table is to one side for the cooks and some employees to sit at to enjoy a companionable meal. Along with staff memebers as cooks we have some Imps that manage the kitchen along side the Head cook. Any and all equipment required that is not in the kitchen can and will be ordered for the cook. The pantry is as large as a walk in closet and holds nothing but the finest ingredients out there.

Near the kitchen is our dining hall where at least 100 people can feast upon meals made by the kitchen staff. Two large tables sit gracefully in the middle of the room surrounded by tapastries of old tales, battles and stories passed down for guests entertainment. One of the tables has a carving of dragons flying above land and tales about dragons. The other table tells tales of elves and fairies with beautiful carvings of far away places unseen for many years by human-kind. The dimly lit atmosphere give wake to the imagination of the guest as dinner is held.

Kitchen and Dinner Hall Hours: 4am to 11:30am and 4pm to 12am. No exceptions.

Our Aviary is partially a glass house for the viewing of our birds that live half in and half out of the castle. Guests are welcome to walk-in and enjoy both exotic and ordinary birds. Each bird is cared for by our animal expert and are on very carefully made diets. So please refrain from feeding the birds anything but the feed set out for them. Any other food can and may kill the bird if they are not used to it. Approved fruits are with our Expert if you would like to feed them special treats. Thank you and enjoy.

Aviary hours: Dawn to 6pm.

Adjoined to the Aviary is our Entertainment room which is half the size of our ballroom. Here you may enjoy many activites, drink at the bar and enjoy the company of fellow guests. Games of all sorts are provided in this room as is live entertainment if requested. Plush chairs and couches are arranged according to the activity. This room is the only room that has computer access, televisions and gamer consoles.

Room hours: Open 24 hours a day.

Outside and to the left is our grand stable that will care for your creature(s) every need. Our stable is modified to be able to care for any size or type of creature you may be traveling with. To the side of the stable is a barn to house larger creatures. Both the stable and barn are air condictioned or heated depending on the animals needs. Staff are trained with the finest education of animal care so that you neednt worry about your animal.

Housing fee: 50g a night.

To the right of the castle is our training grounds and arena which takes 15 acres of land. Here you can train in any and all styles of combat that you may desire to learn. The captain and second in command will assign a guard trained in that style of comabt to the guest. 5 of the acres is dedicated to the area where if one wishes they can test out their skills in contests. If the Captain wishes to hold a tournament he or she must supply the prize and organization of the tournament after discussing it with the mistress.

At the top of both guard towers guests are welcome to do a little star gazing in our astro-room. Designed to the best of oppertunities for star gazing. Inside the room is adorned with sheer wall hangings of midnight blue and silver stars.

Astro-room hours: dusk to dawn

To the back of the castle is a secluded natural spring where special guests and paying guests may catch some R&R. The spring is like an outside spa to enjoy one's self. Please try to keep it clean and listen to the Imps attending to the spa. Guests may enjoy either a warm spring or a cool spring.

Spring hours: 2pm to 6pm.
Cost of use: 200g
Comes with: Beverages, snacks, warm or cool spring, mud bath, natural facials, deep tissue massage and a relaxing cd.

Castle Rooms

For a castle room you must request a key from Mistress Rose. To use a castle room without a key and permission will get you banned for a week. No room can be breached without the consent of the owner. If the room has been breached without constent the offender will be banned.

North Wing- The north wing of the castle is for guests and special guests only.

Special Guest Rooms- Each room is decorated with a certian theme that the guess may choose. These rooms are only available to specail guest considering that each room has a one-time only special theme.
