(GO for it!)

Toshiro stared at Nel curiously when he suddenly heard the voice of his Zanpakuto, Hyourinmaru in his mind.
'What is it Hyourinmaru?' he asked the ice dragon. 'The child is no threat to you little one," the great ice dragon said. 'Are you sure?' Toshiro asked doubtfully. It wasn't that he distrusted Hyourinmaru's judgement, he valued the dragons' opinion very highly, but he was still wary. "I am sure," Hyourinmaru replied firmly. "She is little more than a child right now and poses no threat to you." 'Alright,' Toshiro thought back. 'I'll trust your judgement.' "As you should little one." Toshiro could definitely hear the amusement in the dragon's voice and resisted rolling his eyes. He refocused on the world around him. 'Well,' he thought silently. 'There's no harm in it.' "Hello," he said aloud, addressing the small child arrancar. "What is your name?" |
((I have no clue how to introduce my character. Everyone is Hueco Mundo.))
|
(I had the same problem. Go back and look at my first post and maybe that'll give you an idea)

Keizo was wandering the grounds of Squad Eleven. He was the fourth seat, but only because he saw no reason to advance in rank. It would be a pointless waist of time for him and he was fine with his current rank. As he continued to walk the grounds, a black butterfly fluttered across his face and he came to a complete stop. He held out his hand, extending a finger, and the butterfly landed on it, relaying the message. He was being sent to Hueco Mundo to assist Captain Hitsugaya, just in case something went array. Keizo sighed and began to open the Senkaimon, the butterfly he was with would lead him through.
When he emerged from the other side, he was in the human world and supposed to head to Urahara's shop. Soon enough, he was standing in front of the famous shop and walked in. He explained to Urahara what he needed to do and so, he was taken down below the shop and to the man made Garganta. Keizo waited until it was opened and went through, ending up in the barren wastelands of Hueco Mundo. Captain Hitsugaya was nowhere in sight. From what he could tell, he had two options he could use to find the Captain. Option one was he focused on the Captains reiatsu and followed it and option two was that he released his own reiatsu and hoped that the captain found him. Keizo pondered the options for a minutes, weighing the pro's and cons of each. In the end, he chose option two. He grabbed the handle to the blade that was on his lower back and began to release a steady stream of reiatsu. After a bit, his reiatsu exploded to that of pre shikai and he kept it at that level, waiting for something to happen. ((I have claimed the unknown fourth seat of Squad Eleven. lol)) |
Before Nel could answer Toshiro felt a sudden flare of Reiatsu in the distance. His head whipped around and he reached out, testing the foreign Reiatsu. It was definitely a Shinigami. He frowned as he thought. He recoginsed it. He bit his lip as he ran through the list of Shinigami in his mind that he was aware of and the answer came to him.
It was the fourth seat of the eleventh division. "Wait here," Toshiro told them. "I'll be back in a minute." Toshiro quickly used Shunpo and was soon approaching the Keizo. He slowed to a stop and crossed his arms, staring intently at the lower ranked Shinigami. |
Keizo smiled when Captain Hitsugaya appeared in front of him. Slowly, his reiatsu began to disperse and he let go of the handle to his sword,"There you are captain. I didn't know where to look, so I thought the best way to find you was to get you to come to me." The look in the Captain's eye's told Keizo that he wasn't happy with the way he caught his attention. He laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head,"Well, I was sent here to help you. I was the only one not doing anything in my squad, so they chose me." He reached inside the top half of his shihakushō and pulled out a gourd filled with sake. Popping the cork, he took a swig and held it out to the captain,"Want some?"
|
Toshiro's eye twitched as he stared at the fourth seat.
'Not another one,' he silently thought. In the back of his mind he distinctly heard a deep chuckle. 'Not funny Hyourinmaru!' The chuckling increased in volume so Toshiro chose to ignore his Zanpakuto and focused on the shinigami in front of him. "Next time extend your reiatsu," he advised. "You're little show could've drawn multiple hollows to this location." He sighed before looking distastefully at the sake in the older man's hand. "And put that away!" |
Keizo shrugged,"It would have been a good warm up." He took one more swing from the gourd before putting it back where he originally pulled it from. He looked about the desolate wasteland, then looked back at the young captain,"So where are we going?" Keizo crossed his arms over his chest, playing with the sand under his foot. He kept his gaze focused on the captain, but his senses were focused on everything around him.
|
"Right now we are going to rejoin Kurosaki Ichigo," Toshiro said. He turned on his heel and prepared to use Shunpo. "There is an arrancar with him but she is no threat to us." He felt it best to warn the fourth seat, just in case. He focused his senses and sure enough Kurosaki was just where he'd been when he'd gon in search of Keizo. "Come on." Toshiro said over his shoulder before Shunpo-ing away.

A nasaly "n' sound had began to press threw Nel's moth as she tried to introduce herself, but the man who was before her had suddenly dissapeared. Left with a blank stupified stair, she fell off from Ichigo's shoulder, landing on her rump. Nel hadn't realised until that moment that something was missing. "OH NO!" She cried out, raising slight alarm amoung the small group that was begining to gather. Saying nothing else she began to frantically scour and scatter across the sands of Hueco Mundo. She'd dropped the egg, somewhere between Houri and Ichigo the egg must of tumbled from her tiny clumsy fingers. As the realization set in, Nel began to bawl. Giant flash flood tears now stained the tykes red scared face. |
As Toshiro returned with the fourth seat in tow he raised an eyebrow as he saw the child arrancar frantically looking around the sands of Hueco Mundo. He realised that he still didn't know her name; he'd gone off before she could tell him when he'd sensed the flare of reiatsu. He felt a flash of guilt for that but pushed it to the back of his mind for the moment. The child then started to cry and he winced. What was he suposed to do? He wasn't any good with kids!
Glancing around at the others he took a deep breath and took the plunge. He squatted down to her level and looked at her curiously. "What's wrong?" he asked in as soft a voice as he could, trying desperately to keep his tone as warm as possible, a difficult task as he usually tried to remain as distant as possible. |
Fighting back the tears seemed harder now then ever. Nel whipped her eyes with the back of the sandy little hand, sniffed and tried to compose herself. Her bottem lip quivered as she tried to catch her breath, her soggy teal eyes looking into his. "It...it's gone. Nel spent so long looking and now it's gone..." She thought about her excitement when she senced Ichigo and snagged the rock from Houri. It was impossible to remember, was it the log she tripped on or the hole she fell in? Pointless, her tiny mind was a wreck and she began to sob again. |
"What's gone?" Toshiro asked her carefully. Deciding that squatting like this was uncomflrtable he took Hyourinmaru off his back so he could sit comfortably beside Nel. If Matsumoto ever found out about this...
He pushed that to the back of his mind and concentrated on the small figure before him. Now, how to make her stop crying... "My name is Hitsugaya Toshiro, what is yours?" he asked her. He hadn't listened earlier, maybe this would help. |
Nel was stupified that he'd ask such a question like that at a time like this, but it worked. She had been so distracted by the question she had forgotten about crying. "Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck, but Nel likes being called Nel." |
Toshiro's eyebrows rose at the child's last name.
'Poor kid,' he thought. 'Having a name like THAT!' "You are doing very well little one," Hyourinmaru murmured in the back of his mind. Toshiro ignored the dragon for now. His plan had worked at least and for that he was grateful. "Now taht I know your name," he continued carefully. "Mind telling me exactly what it was you were crying about? If you keep calm I might be able to help." He winced at his own words. What was he doing? He didn't usually like kids at all and here he was comforting one! Hyourinmaru chuckled in the back of his mind and he felt the childish impulse to stick his tongue out at the dragon. He ignored it and concentrated on the small teal haired girl before him. |
Falling silent, Nel looked down at the ground in sorrow. In grief, her words had escaped her and she couldn't think of anything to say. She was hopping Houri would find it in pursuit of her, or that maybe Ichigo had seen it before she'd lost it. The group was silent and the air was tence. |
Toshiro stared at the small girl curiously when she didn't answer his question. He glanced around at the others but then focused back on Nel. He took a deep breath and, hoping that this would never be brought up in the seireitei, he gently put a hand on her shoulder and with the other tilted her head to look at him. He stared at her warmly.
"Come on," he said softly. "What's wrong?" (Am I the only one that's noticed that Nel's hair and Toshiro's eyes are the same colour?) |
****Plot Edited**** Please refer to the first post on page one for the new information that has been written in RED. I will now be playing the role of Aizen, Yoruichi is now up for grabs, to help move the story along. Also, we now have an OOC thread in the OOC Topics board. Any questions, comments or concerns will be disgused there other then this thread or my PM simply so everyone has a chance to add their input and find questions for answering quickly. In the crypts of Las Noches, far beyond the most secret of secrets withing the labrynth castle, a darkness that had echoed and traced the halls for countless years had been broken. The twisting maze of walls were painted black with darkness and spiderwebs, making the air hang stalely in the corridors. Laying in the heart of all the deathly quiet was a large sandstone tomb. Beneith the heavy silence and darkness the lid began to grind against the basket of the resting place. Slowly the heavy tomb opened and fell to the ground with a resounding thud. The sound bounced around the other wise empty room and down the halls. At the begining of the hidden corridor, two lights began to float from on torch hung on the wall to the other. As the light began to conquor the darkness, the figure of two young arrancar girls holding candle lighters became apparent. They them had been trained to do so at the sound of the thud. From the tomb's belly a man sat up. He'd been laying still for such a long time, with a few stiff streches he stood from his bed and waited for the two girls to finish their rounds with the flame. Aizen had awoken and hadn't missed a beat, as always he headed for his royal court room. He'd need a consultation with his loyal Espada. The silence stood still around the two of them, each moment must of weighed heavy on Hitsuguya's mind. Nel suddenly jumped to her feet, and solemly began to walk back the way she'd come. All without a word. |
Toshiro blinked as Nel stood up and left him sitting on the ground. He stared after her before a frown of annoyance passed accross his face. He was about to yell at her when Hyourinmaru stopped him.
"Be calm little one" the great ice dragon said. 'Easy for you to say Hyourinmaru,' Toshiro thought back irritably. "You were once young as well you know." Toshiro ignored Hyourinmaru and stood up and followed Nel. Some inner instinct was telling him that he shouldn't leave the small arrancar alone. He trusted his instincts, they'd served him well over the years and he wasn't about to start doubting them now. |
((okay..um first question..did aizen-sama...yes i called him that...^.^;; walk into the meeting room of the ten espadas yet?...))
|
Orihime blinked when she saw a blur jump on Ichigo. She was going so shield him but then the said blur turned into Nel. She suddenly jumped in surprise as Toshiro appeared. Just as she was about to speak to him Nel burst into tears.Turning her attention to her she never realized that the "rock" was being absorbed slowly underneath her.
Blinking in surprise as Nel ran to her "Itsygo", Houri was going to follow her when she realized that Grimmjow had gone ahead of them. Shunpoing(sp?) towards the group she waited behind a cluster of trees, watching Grimmjow and the group interacting with "hers". So intent on her attention on "hers", that she didn't see the rock that Nel had; roll from where it was dropped towards the orange-haired female and promptly be soaked into the ground underneath her. When the white-haired boy~man started following Nel, as she walked towards her, Ri knew that no one, no thing, and defiantly NO boy~man follows what is "HERS". Ri shifts her body so she appears on everyone's radar. She looks at Nel, ignoring the boy~man, and comforts her with her reiatsu. |
Toshiro blinked in surprise as he felt an unfamiliar reiatsu wash over him. He frowned in confusion. Who was that? It was definitely unfamiliar and it wasn't the strange reaitsu he'd felt earlier. He glanced at the child arrancar. Was this reiatsu familiar to her? He frowned in concentration and tried to sense where exactly the person/arrancar/hollow/whatever it was was.

Ulquiorra glanced over to the side as he opened his eyes and saw Aizen walking over. He slowly stood up and bowed his head down to him in respect. "Hello there, Aizen-sama...how are you today?.." he said with a quiet whisper, he didnt really care if the other nine espadas were missing at the moment, he was just completely loyal to Aizen.
|
A bow as to say, I recognize you, nodded Aizen's head. He didn't think of himself as a firm leader, but a fair and cool tempered one. His years in the gotei had served as no more then a masking tallent. Hiding his true thoughts and feelings from his nearly emotionless face left him as some what a mystery. Aizen's stride stopped infront of his most loyal Espada, Ulqyuiorra. "It's a fine day so far, Ulquiorra. Pray tell, where are all the others? Even Grimmjow know's better then to ignore my orders." Aizen smiled with contentable discontent. Nel's little heart skipped a beat when Houri's green hair became apparent to her. She'd behaved rude and pig headedly, the maturnal figure would surely be in the mood to deliver a scolding. The fear of being disaplined mixed with the sorrow of the lost rock and Nel began to whale harder then before. The force of her sobs forcing her to her rump, her balance thrown off by her cries. |
