Mala wasnt sure what to think of a class where being a quiet night was a good thing. so she merely shrugged, gathered her things in her bag, and walked after Crystal her mind busy though she still kept the image of the lake in her mind. she had noticed the whistle and had wondered what it was about but was surprised to see a normal looking girl standing outside the door to the dorms. "another gaurdian" Mala thought as she spied what appeared to be a staff the lady was holding. she wondered if the school had a karate club and wondered if she should try to join if they did.

Victor ignored Gabriel's question about what he was suppose to be doing at that moment, instead of taking care of the prideful hunter. He took the boy's shirt and placed it on a chair that was inside the bathroom, his sensitive ears catching the pace of the heartbeat accelerate a little. Catching the second question, the vampire leaned against the sink in a casual manner, watching with watchful eyes as Gabriel unwrapped the ace bandage wrap, glancing at Ribz cautiously. "From what I know of, there are only three." He answered plainly, knowing that the boy was thinking about his occupation. Walking over, standing only inches away from the boy's face, Victor tugged at Gabe's pants, unclasping the uniform belt and unbuttoning the top button of the uniform pants. "You only have to worry about one of them. The other two are on our side." He reassured the boy as a gentle smile played on his pale lips. "You're really slow, you know?" Meaning, he took forever to get undressed. But the boy was sick, so what could one do? Answer? Help him undress.

Rajani smiled when she saw the two girls walk out of the Moon dorm, a little relieved. She was afraid that she might have to round them up and that simply seemed like a futile effort. So she would have to patrol and look for skipees.. which would have been positively annoying. Or she would have had to go to Headmistress Cross. And to tell the truth, she didn't want to go the the woman, something about her just bugged Raja."Hello girls! I'm Rajani Kaur Mudhol, I would like it if you called me Raja for short.."She glanced around, not seeing any of the boys out quite yet, so in annoyance she puffed her cheeks and put her fist on her hip, the staff resting in her other hand."I hope you guys don't cause a lot of trouble for me this year, I hate fighting or talking to the Chairman."She was talking about everyone in the night class, not just Crystal and Mala. She was aware of how plain she looked in comparison to others, Mala had white or very light blond hair for goodness sakes. So did Crystal. However Raja liked blending in with humans, it allowed her to forget her immortal past."Do you two think anyone else is coming to classes today?"

Gabriel nodded, hearing Victor's answer. He was already thinking about how to set up the rest of his schedule to keep an eye on the dangerous night class when Victor came close, tugging on his pants. Gabe let out a gasp, his face turning a deeper shade as Victor explained the positions of the purebloods. However his head was swimming again, or he would have asked for their names. He took being called slow an insult, and put his hands on Victor's wrists. "I'm sick... But I can take care of myself." His voice was still raspy, and he glared at Victor with glazed eyes before closing the few inches of distance, landing a kiss right on the vampire's cool lips as he took care of his pants on his own. However that left a human boy standing practically naked in front of a vampire student. "..If you're so worried perhaps you should join me.." His arms were wrapped around Victor's neck, and he broke the kiss to rest his hot cheek on Victor's shoulder. Jeeze, naughty.. The boys would need a censor soon.

Mala was non plussed as she looked the gaurdian up and down. she didnt know quite what to makeof the outspoken vampire in front of her, and decided to be silent, for now. shrugging when Raja had asked if anyone was coming to theclasses today she merely shrugged. "as far as i know there was one boy who had left earlier towards the classroom, victor is up in his room taking care of some personal business" (Mala didnt know exactly what was going on upstairs nor did she really want to. she only knew that he had gabriel up there too. (shed heard them going up the stairs) and that they were busy) "there are a few others in the main room behind us but im not sure of their story." "though i do hope that they stay in the house for now, i dont want to deal with them at the moment." Mala thought.

Travis stood silently, listening to the conversation between Miss Robella and Madison, turning away and smiling when the young human said she had been distracted. The older woman suggested Madison take up some sort of physical education to release any extra energy she had. It was a good move, saying the young girl needed to stay inside at night so she wouldn't be tired during the day.

As the conversation continued, movement caught Travis' attention. Cocking his head slightly, he turned around in time to see, all the way across campus, a young woman jumping out of a third floor Moon Dorm window. Knowing only vampires were allowed to bunk there, he did not raise an alarm, watching with mild curiosity as the being flipped, plummeted to the ground, stopping inches from it, then floating gently the remainder of the distance. Peculiar ability, he thought. The girl rushed to the front of the dorm, stood for a moment, and then let out an ear-piercing whistle.

Travis' eyebrows raised. Then he remembered that the Night Class was supposed to meet the Prefects in front of the dorm to be escorted to class. Probably to dissuade encounters like the one he and Madison were having before Miss Robella intervened.

Travis turned back around and said, "Miss Robella, my utmost apologies for interrupting, but I believe I am wanted at the entrance to Moon Dorm. I had forgotten the Night Class was to be escorted and have wandered off. Would you prefer to continue our conversation or shall we discuss this at a further date?"

Gitana Nova 03-19-2010 04:17 AM

A soft chuckle could be heard erupting from his throat as he returned the kiss, feeling hands wrap around his neck after hearing pants fall unto the bathroom floor with a thud. He placed a hand on the human boy's bare back, his other hand working with the buttons of his shirt. "I'll take you up on that offer." And with that being said, the vampire's clothes were removed in quick motions and censors were placed up in the bathroom.

Seeing as Gabriel was sick, Victor was a lot more gentler than usual, so he wrapped a towel around the boy's waist and carried him towards the bed. The bathroom, amazingly, was clean and water free. One learned to stop asking question like "How?" when Victor is involved. Now, you would think that seeing as the boy was sick, the vampire would cease with the kisses and the love-making, but seeing as the two were a little too into it, it got to the point were Victor's cool lips were caressing Gabriel's neck. Usually it was at this point that the human boy would bring out the dreaded gun known as Ribz, but that weapon was still currently laying in the bathroom floor, inside the back pants' pocket. Victor had not taken a blood supplement at all that day, but his thirst wasn't bad. Unfortunately, the human boy's heartbeat was quick, causing the flow of blood to run through his veins just as fast. The vampire's lips found the boy's sensitive spot on his neck and bestowed it with kisses before his fangs extracted on their own and he bit down on the warm, feverish flesh.

Rising_Violet 03-19-2010 04:48 AM

Raja glanced up at the moon dorms as Mala explained where Victor was, a flicker of anger crossing her face before she let out a gentle sigh and nodded. She wasn't going to take her anger out on these two fine young ladies, no it was going to be reserved for Victor and Serenity. Probably more so for Victor, he could take a punch from Raja better than the human Guardian would."Then I'll wait a little bit longer and see if anyone comes out.. I can always find stragglers later.."She rocked back and forth on her heels,"So I don't think I caught your names, this is my first year at this school and I've spent most of my summer in the town... So I haven't gotten to know anyone."What an odd way to invite someone to talk about themselves.

She too heard the ear-piercing whistle coming from the moon dorms and cast a glance in that direction before Travis spoke up. Rose gave him a nod of the head."I think it would be wise to continue our conversation later, Mr. Maddock. I might even see you in class. "

Thank goodness for censors. Truly Gabriel was probably too feverish for all of the nonsense that the two insisted on committing. Yet the human wasn't afraid of making his boyfriend sick, being a vampire after all gave one immunities to such things, not to mention that the cool temperature of Victor's skin was rather pleasant against his own feverish skin. It was refreshing even, that was until his groggy mind became all too aware of where the cool kisses were being placed on his skin. His heart quickened, if that was even possible and his mind began swimming in the panic. It was bad enough when Victor lost himself when Gabriel wasn't sick, it was positively horrible now that the boy was sick. He reached under the pillow forgetting that they weren't even in his room. "Vic-"He gasped, it wasn't a wholly unpleasant feeling, the fangs sinking into his neck and vein. The fever didn't help, he started to feel as if he was drifting off, and he didn't have his gun with him. Oh why didn't he have that blasted gun?"..Victor.." He groaned, he put a hand on his lover's shoulder pushing. He was able to keep from sinking into unconsciousness just enough to know that he shouldn't pull Victor's hair to get him off. The all too human heartbeat started to slow down despite his panic and rage at that moment. He was going to be pissed in the morning if he woke up.

emiko_firecaster 03-19-2010 07:33 AM

"oh!" Mala blinked in surprise relizing she had been awefully rude to not introduce herself. "Good evening, im Malaana, but i would perfer if you would call me Mala. its a pleasure to meet you." turning towards serenity she waited for her to speak

Valendra 03-19-2010 01:59 PM

Crystal looked calmly at young girl, were all guardians a little cracked or was it purely coincidence? She smiled to Raja with a beautiful one.

"I highly doubt that we will have all of the vampires will be attending tonight's classes. After all, it's only the first day, some like to take orientation as a free time for personal affairs and to get adjusted to the school and the new environment." she looked up to Travis with a content smile as he walked towards them. "I believe we'll at least have a number of three attending tonight though; I'm Crystal Ravencroft, a freshman at cross academy. Pleased to meet you, Raja." she nodded at young vampire politely.

It was going to be an interesting night, she was going to see all vampires together for the first time. Although she wondered if Crydian and that shy girl from earlier were going to attend. She couldn't see them around and she certainly didn't want to peek into anyone's mind wihtout a good reason. Crystal had this calm and princess-like demanour, although she was probably disliked being a pureblood by aristocrat vampires, her smile and soothing voice contradicted with the first impression her nature casted on them. It was probably a confusing experience for the vampires, acting exactly opposite as expected from her kin.

Estrella 03-19-2010 03:57 PM

Madison flushed. For someone with her intelligence, she could be dumb sometimes. She nodded at Miss Robella, trying to keep her embarrassment in check so she didn't do something even more embarrassing in front of Travis. "It won't happen again," she promised turning towards the dorms when she heard the whistle. She turned to look in that direction and paused before returning to the dorm. Maybe Miss Robella had the answers she wanted. She turned back to the teacher sitting in the chair and said "Miss Robella?" she started, maybe the teacher wouldn't tell her to go back into her dorm right away "Would you mind if I asked you a question?" she said and then paused to think about the sentence "Different then the one I just asked," she said, smiling. She knew it was a long shot. Or maybe not. Maybe the teachers had an answer for curious students like Madison. The curious students who didn't just accept the separation between Day and Night class. She waited to see what the teacher's response would be.

Rising_Violet 03-19-2010 09:50 PM

The woman smiled faintly, she just might have pointed out that Madison had asked a question already. While Rose wasn't 100% sure what Madison could ask she nodded slowly, mentally preparing herself for any question. "If you do not mind that I may not be able to give you the exact answer you are looking for." Rosalynda knew how to twist the truth enough to make a satisfactory answer. After all she had been doing such with her nephew Gabriel for the past eight to nine years, he still didn't know the truth about her and it wasn't likely in Aunt Rose's opinion that he would learn any time soon.
Raja nodded to Mala and Crystal in turn when they gave her their names, she even had a faint smile. "It is a pleasure to meet the two of you as well, I hope my grumpy attitude hasn't made you think poorly of me." She sounded sincere when she said this, but her eyes flashed. The sentence was one of those phrases of courtesy she had learned long long ago when she had to be concern about how well people viewed her and her actions. Those years were gone, however sometimes the habits were not. She noticed that Crystal was a pureblood, and perhaps it bothered her. Yet the woman wasn't acting as if she was above anyone else, yet, so Raja didn't have a reason to hold anything against her. As Travis walked up and Crystal pointed out that perhaps only three other vampires would be attending class today, the woman sighed. "It's better than no one, Victor and Serenity are going to be in a load of trouble for leaving me to do this alone.. even if you are a small and well behaved group." She smiled before glancing at her watch. "Bah, I've waited long enough, I can pick up stragglers later. Let's go.. All three of you were at the orientation right? I don't have to tell you anything that you should already know?" She glanced at them expectantly, flicking her other wrist so that the staff snapped to it's full extention, about as tall as herself.

emiko_firecaster 03-19-2010 11:46 PM

Mala was silent, and thoughtful, her face hiding the emotions under neath. she had learned long ago that sometimes its better to hold the tongue then say anything and although Raja's tongue was sharp, her emotions and body language told a different story, something not even she was aware of. what had started lowly had fully emerged, with frightening ferocity, till sje could feel the slightest shift in emotions, her sharp eyes, long trained so by her forrays into forested areas, helped her in reading the hidden language of everything. she had certainly come along way from the innocent vampire of just thirty minutes ago (was it really about thirty minutes?). so it was a silent, and inward focused Mala that walked with the group that night.

Gitana Nova 03-20-2010 12:15 AM

Victor had bit into the boy's neck and was slowly drinking the intoxicating, red liquid. In the back of his mind he was panicking, yelling at himself for allowing this to get this far, but his mind was a little too into the situation to hear it. Feeling the push on his shoulder, the vampire was able to clear his mind long enough to know that that meant he needed to stop. He released the boy's neck from his grasp and quickly removed the towel around the human's waist, pressing it lightly against the wound. "I'm sorry." He apologized, noticing that Gabriel was losing consciousness. For an almost unknown reason, the vampire kept a first-aid kit underneath his bed, of course, it was an odd mixture of what a vampire would need, like blood supplements, and what humans would need, like bandages and disinfectant. His motions were quick but perfect as he wrapped Gabe's neck up a few times.

[ ...That's so short. D= ]

LyraBlackHeart 03-20-2010 09:23 PM

"I think it would be wise to continue our conversation later, Mr. Maddock," Miss Robella said. "I might even see you in class."

Travis bowed his head slightly. "Thank you, Ma'am." He turned to Madison. "Miss Hensley." Then he turned and headed back across the campus to Moon Dorm.

As he walked up, the young vampire who had fallen in front of Moon Dorm earlier in the day was introducing herself, as well as another, more regal looking Pureblood - Mala and Crystal respectively - to the guardian standing in front of them. The guardian turned and looked at Travis, which was when he realized she was who he saw jumping from the third floor window.

He smiled kindly and sad, "Hello, my name is Travis Maddock. My deepest apologies for being late. I could not, for medical reasons, attend orientation this afternoon and was not aware we were to be escorted to classes. My tardiness will not be repeated."

Estrella 03-20-2010 09:39 PM

Madison waved to Travis as he walked away, "See you later," she said automatically, though she wasn't sure he had her response. She reached up and tucked her hair again, seemed like this was starting to become a nervous habit. Madison hadn't had that sort of problem in the past, nerves, but the way the teacher had responded to her question about a question made Madison think that something about this school was even more drastically different then just the separation of Day and Night class. She returned her focus to the teacher "Why is there a separation between the classes?" she paused briefly, running a finger across her lower lip "I have noticed minor differences," she started to explain her train of thought before the teacher answered her question "It's obvious they are much better looking than the Day class," she directed her view towards the group of Night class students standing quiet a ways away "And I could tell from the handsy Cyrdian that they seem to feel cooler than us," she added then turned to the teacher. She decided not to express her theory about the Night Class being from Greenland. She was sure that the teacher would have an answer for this -- whether or not it was the truth was what Madison would have to ponder over. She wished she could have asked Travis more questions; she may have been able to get the truth out of him. But she may not have either. She knew that before she went to bed tonight she would write to her father with all her concerns and ideas. She studied the teacher's face carefully, trying to see if the woman would give anything away with her facial expressions

[edited: i totally said "thoughts" when I meant "expressions" lol MADISON CANNOT READ MINDS!]

Valendra 03-20-2010 11:36 PM

"Nothing does come to mind, or at least I fail to think of any." pureblood replied to Raja's question, seeing Mala decided to keep silent, being a student was an amusing change.

It was thoughtful, even though knowledge had fell upon the young one only an hour ago, she seemed incredibly into it. Perhaps that was the 'enlightening' for you, Crystal could see the potential of the pureblood this girl might become. She turned her attention to Travis, whom she didn't pay attention to his appearence before. The voice of his thoughts were what interested her, as well as the rest of the night class. But one couldn't deny, how stiriking he was now standing with them. He was taller and looked older, his eyes even felt older. Crystal could hear it in his voice, read it in his gestures; he was not used to this environment still and was feeling uneasy perhaps more than necessary?

As she sensed the call for help in a mind, aloud, her features didn't move even slightly. Though she tilted her head slightly, blinking casually. Soon it was over, she recognised the muffled voice, urgent, paniced but was silenced in a short while. It was Gabriel, the boy with Victor earlier today; she peeked through the thoughts of the guardian from surface, he seemed calm. Situation was over as soon as it arose it seemed, Crystal kept her tranquil mask. She didn't like peeking into others' thoughts, learning secrets and unaudible words they cannot dare to utter. But if she blocked it out, she knew she couldn't live without knowing how the ones around her were feeling, thinking, needing... It was a part of her, she had to know what danger was lurking around her, in order to protect herself at least. She sensed unaudible thoughts of the human girl, Madison, was the name Crydian thought of earlier. Funny, how effectively a vampire could dodge through that doubt and curiousity, especially a pureblood like herself.

But as they said, curiousity kills the cat. She nodded to Travis politely in acknowledgement. No, she wasn't going to build an unrechable wall between herself and aristocrats, as long as she wasn't forced to she was not going to act as if she was any different than them. That was the decision.

Rising_Violet 03-22-2010 09:43 PM

life different from the majority of the world one didn't need to be questioned on their silence. Instead she turned to Crystal giving the woman a small smile and a nod in return. As Travis spoke, Raja turned so that she no longer had to walk backwards while leading the way into the school, she didn't turn her back on the boy to be rude as could be seen by the slight turn of her head. She was still listening. In the end, when he said that he would not be tardy again, Raja broke into a wide grin. "That's what I like to hear!" She turned her head a little more to look at the man directly, still smiling a nearly happy-go-lucky smile. "All is forgiven under the circumstances... Do you mind if I call you Travis, or do you prefer Mr. Maddock?"

The guardian already knew that what Mala preferred to be called and somehow she had neglected to ask Crystal, and forgotten all about it. Or perhaps she already liked Travis enough to care about what he preferred to be called. Either way after he answered she would face forward again, a slight bounce in her step.
"I'm sure your teachers will catch you up on the rules if you have missed any, if not you can find me later and ask me all you want... But I better not catch you skipping any classes or skulking around the Sun Dorms!" She turned around and wagged her finger at the small group with a stern expression. Then the expression grew curious and concerned. "So out of those that are not here, are there any trouble makers that you feel like warning me about ahead of time?" She really spoke all too human, and she didn't look as pale as perhaps she should have. It might have been the make-up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lynda listened patiently to the questions, keeping a vaguely interested expression. Despite her short height under the circumstances she could see a particular look in Madison, that perhaps the girl might not rest until she gained a satisfactory answer to her questions. Or until she found the proof to back up the claims of the answers she received. Madison was a smart girl, but it was day students like these that could cause problems or help, depending on how they reacted to the school's secret. Now.. how to answer this question? Rosalynda was actually surprised that not many Day Class students who've had a run in with the Night Class have ever asked about the cooler skin temperature. However she had a slight grin, and almost chuckled,
"Are you sure that Cyrdrian simply doesn't have cold hands?" She flexed her own self-consciously, and realized this, and took off a glove, holding up her hand. "I myself find my hands too cold for my liking thanks to poor circulation." She smiled gently slipping the glove back on, letting her hand rest in her lap. "I do not know if all of the Night Class have cold hands, Miss Hensley." Her tone of voice sounded like she was suppressing laughter, "However I can say that there is a separation of classes because the Night Class is essentially the school's 'elite', however I am not sure as to why all of them seem so attractive to the Day Class myself." She was still smiling, however there was amusement tugging at the corner of her mouth. "It could be a trick of the light.. Or perhaps the finances of their parents have something to do with it all." She fell silent, looking up at Madison with a patient expression.
Gabe was pissed, despite swimming in and out of consciousness. Why was he dating a vampire anyway? Weakly he reached up and touched his neck, feeling the bandages there and sighed. Perhaps Victor was the one exception to Gabriel's pure hatred for vampires because he viewed Victor as a human on the inside, fighting the beast that he had been turned into.
"I'm going to kill you.." He mumbled softly, before his vision went black entirely, leaving him with the thought that he was just one more bite away from losing his own mortality and humanity.
Gitana Nova 03-23-2010 01:25 AM
The vampire caught the mumble, and sighed. The boy was going to keep his word, eventually, especially if he bites him for the third, and last time. His humanity was now indeed in trouble, one more bite would do the trick to turn him into a vampire, and that would not be good. For multiple reasons. Running a hand through his dark hair, Victor walked over to his closet, taking out some fresh pajamas and dressing the unconscious boy. He threw the covers over Gabriel, taking the stained towel and cleaning it as best as he could in the bathroom sink. The smell of blood, mixing with the roses' scent, lingered in the air as he walked back into his room, dressing himself in his own pajamas before slipping into the bed with the human boy. The vampire muttered not a word as he kissed the boy on the cheek before laying his head on the pillow, his eyes glancing at the bandages around his neck, before lingering into a soft sleep. He knew he was going to be in great trouble in the morning.
That's right, the Headmistress. Where in the school was this woman at? By the lake, of course. It seemed that even she was taking a rest of her own duties.
[ I really don't know what to do with these two right now. xD;; ]
LyraBlackHeart 03-23-2010 02:10 AM
Raja started toward the main buildings of the campus and Travis followed. "You may call me whichever you see fit, but Travis has fewer syllables." He smiled. When she mentioned skulking around the Sun Dorm, the tall vampire looked away uneasily. He wasn't sure if what he had been doing could be classified as "skulking". Better if he stayed away from there in the future. Besides, the human Madison had too many questions he could not answer. Lying was something he simply did not do, and he was sure he couldn't just outright tell her the truth. Despite not attending orientation, he was pretty sure telling the humans of the true nature of the Night Class was against the rules.
As Raja continued speaking, Travis studied the back of her. Not her back-end, as first that would be rude, but second he couldn't see her back-end due to her knee-length red hair covering it. The way she moved, though, struck Travis as odd. She didn't act like a vampire, as still and quiet as most vampires are, and she didn't particularly look like one either: her skin wasn't nearly as pale as his or the other two vampires in the group. She didn't smell human, though. Travis couldn't hear her heart beating, or the blood flowing through her veins.
"Are there any trouble makers that you feel like warning me about ahead of time?" she was asking, and Travis pressed his lips together.
Of course there was one he would like to tell her about, but he wasn't sure if it was appropriate to speak ill of one of their kind in front of the two females. (He wasn't aware of Crystal's ability to read minds.) He walked quickly up to Raja's side and lowered his head close to hers.
"I have information on the topic, but I would find it greatly inappropriate to speak of such in front of our sisters. Is it possible for us to meet after classes?" As he spoke, he placed a cool hand on her shoulder, smiling slightly.
Rising_Violet 03-23-2010 02:42 AM
The girl glanced over her shoulder with a sly grin, hearing him point out that Travis did indeed have less syllables. Then he approached her, a hand on her shoulder as he spoke. Raja cast a casual glance at the cool hand, wondering why the boy was acting so familiar, but his words explained that well enough. She listened with a few nods of the head before pulling her shoulder away from under his hand and smiling at him. "Certainly, you don't have to worry about finding me, I'll certainly find you." The way that she grinned was a little unnerving, as if she were making some sort of unsettling promise. However she would be prowling the school grounds during night classes to make sure that all continued to be well, so if he tried to find her, he might be running around in a goose chase.
Raja would be able to see him leaving the school after classes, so it was just easier that way. Truth be told, Raja was just a little surprised that Travis was willing to confide anything. She probably wouldn't be so surprised if she realized that he actually cared about the humans that also attended the school, or perhaps he had a vendetta and wanted more people on her side? There were far too many possibilities when dealing with the immortal. She sighed as she contemplated this, what a shame that she hadn't been allowed in the day class. They were such simple things to deal with, however she knew it was for the best. After all, if just one of them got a paper cut...
She glanced at her 'sisters' and thought it not odd that Travis referred to them as siblings, but a tad sad. If she ever had any romantic interest in these three now she would end up thinking back to how they were referred to as siblings. Ah well, love wasn't for the dead. She remembered why she preferred human company at that moment that she looked at the two other girls, vampires were often quiet and reserved. Either having lived too long to have anything to talk about, or they have learned that they need not talk at all. Humans however were amazing little chatterboxes, talking about their plans, classes, and love affairs. It had made immortality more interesting for Rajani, listening to these conversations. To the point where she didn't have a second thought when she opened her mouth, talking to the three of them. "So what sort of classes are you three taking this year anyway?"
Estrella 03-23-2010 05:10 AM
Madison fidgeted in place, still studying the woman’s face and only noticing the amused look approach. Madison was making a fool of herself. But her curiosity was too wild to reign in. She puffed air through her cheeks as she listened and realized that Miss Robella was probably right, she couldn’t say that after meeting two Night Class students with cold hands pointed to a difference in all of the Night Class students. To say that, Madison would have to shake hands with every single one of the Night Class students and confirm that they all did in fact have cooler hands than herself. Or maybe Madison’s temperature was higher than usual. She did not know but did not feel satisfied with the answers she was getting. ”But what makes them elite? she asked when Miss Robella had finished talking. She was going to be practically crazy if she couldn’t figure out why the Night Class was considered the “elite.” Madison had to think back on all the people she had met today, trying to plant faces with names – and uniforms, so that she could see if the attractiveness was there. As far as Madison could remember, most of the people she had met had been fairly attractive. ”Is it a sort of…breeding type thing?” she asked, unable to fathom a better word to describe her train of thought better. Maybe they were “elite” because they had been bred to be elite. Like her mom’s last boyfriend. He was a dog breeder. He specifically chose dogs to make an incredible line of that breed. Madison had to tie everything to something she at least understood; she did not like feeling completely lost.
emiko_firecaster 03-23-2010 06:39 AM
"computer, art, choir, theater, math, creative writing, poetry and what ever seems to catch my fancy." she did not feel like elaborating on her wish to vist the stables later that night, wanting a chance to greet the animals, having a feeling that it may be frowned on. Mala was quite once more though she finally decided to speak up after a moment. "im not you sister travis so please dont act like it" her voice was filled with a combination of irritation and exasperation. "and one of the guys you will have to waatch out for is a vampire" she says this word with a slight inflection "is Cyridian. i dont know why but every thing about him screamed danger at me.... that and he seems to be morbidly fascinated with females... and they him"
Mala didnt share Travis nervousness about speaking out seeing as how it would affect all of them anyways. "anyways watch yourself he seemed like a real pimp wanna be."
Travis smiled when Raja shifted out from under his touch. It would seem like he would prefer the touch of a human, as warm and full of blood as they were, but Travis never felt comfortable being close to them. The truth was, they unnerved to him. Temptation could strike at any time, and while many vampires had more malicious feelings about the mortals, at least he knew he couldn't kill them, not without trying extremely hard.
"I'm not your sister, Travis, so please don't act like it," Mala said, and Travis turned slightly and looked at her.
After a wordless stare, he nodded to her. "Very well. My apologies. I was merely calling you a sister in the sense that we are both creatures of the night. I must keep in mind that other may not view things the same way I do. I appreciate you pointing that out to me."
Then Mala mentioned Cyrdian as one to watch out for. Travis' eyebrows raised. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind. He looked away, into the night.
Rose opened her mouth to respond to the curious Day student, however Madison interjected with another question that made her laugh out loud. "I do not know about the similarities in their personal lives or if their parents have been particular in the genetics they receive.. However if they were bred that would make a lot of sense.." She shifted her weight so that she leaned against the other arm rest of her chair. "However many of the Night Class students come from several different countries and backgrounds, and their education is more advanced than that of the day class and many of them often excel in a certain extracurricular activity or more. It is much like any other Honor program in other schools however we have too many students in either class to house them in the school at once.. Also because of their advanced placement the Night Class has a habit of being a tad full of themselves, using their intellect for connivery on other students. We hope to have taught them how to better interact with their peers before they leave Cross Academy.. with as little drama as possible."
Lynda thought how her explination made the night class sound like a group of good-looking computer hackers, or sociopaths. However she believed that it made the most sense.. if they Night. Class were actually composed of humans this might very well be the case. "Does that answer your question Miss Hensley?" That was apparently the conclusion of their conversation becuase Rose set her hands on the wheels of her chair. "If you have anymore questions perhaps we should speak when you are not under the constraints of a curfew, and I am not needed for the lessons of the next class." Rose hesistated, waiting for Madison to go inside, but also thinking as to whether to give the student her personal cell phone number. She foresaw Madison getting into a lot of trouble in the future if she wasn't satisfied with the answers she just received. Considering the idea, Rose sighed inwardly and reached into her business jacket, pulling a small index card out of the breast pocket along with a pen. One could not be a teacher without being prepared.
She scribbled "Miss Robella" and her cell phone number down on the paper in fine, curly handwriting before handing Madison the paper. "If you have trouble reaching the headmistress, need tutoring, or if you have any more questions in general you may call me. My phone is never off.. You seem like a very intelligent young lady to me, Miss Hensley. I hope you stay out of trouble in the future."
Raja looked up at Mala as she answered the question, looking quite interested. Though she had the feeling that Mala might be in a poor mood from the way that she answered. Which was only proven, in Rajani's opinion, when she responded to Travis about being referred to as 'sister'. She noticed that Travis thought carefully before he spoke, and chose his words with a particular delicacy. A small grin worked its way to her lips as she wondered how Travis would speak if he didn't have a chance to think about his words, or better yet, if he was furious about something.
Mala seemed much more impulsive in the way that she spoke, much like herself. Also Mala walked with a natural grace, but not one that was refined from knowing several other vampires, but with a particular life as if she too had spent too much time around humans. Which was proven even further when she blurted out about the troublesome class mate that Raja could only assume Travis may have been alluding to just moments before. Brown eyes glanced to Travis who was looking away before addressing Mala.
Raja just took the information into contemplation as she nodded her head. "Thanks Mala, I'll keep that in mind." She was having trouble not laughing because Mala had decided to refer to this Cyrdian as "a real pimp wanna be", however sick it made her on the inside. She could only imagine Cyrdian as she thought of the many male vampires she had known to act like 'pimp wannabes'. They were disgusting with absolutely no honor or morals, and they treated humans like cattle. Kaur, since when are you allowed to judge another of your own kind, perhaps he is a fledgling like you were once. Or perhaps he never chose to change his ways. Raja grinned a bit further at the thought that Mala was telling her to beware of this vampire's personality. "Thank you for your advice Mala, however I am sure that I will be able to hold my own."
Mala merely shruggs a pouting expression crossing her face at the amusement of Raja in front of her. but the expression was wiped just as quickly from her face, a smooth mask replacing it. "creatures of the night... oh, yes, my appologies travis, i did not think of it that way..." her voice trails off as her eyes grow slightly troubled and in her distraction accidently dropping her shield on her mind. "thats right, i had forgotten, im a vampire... i wonder if my parents knew, and if they did how long they new. that explains why i used to have a problem with direct sunlight... and why i like the rain.... oh wait no, liking the rains a personal prefrence, but maybe thats why i can talk with animals? yes, now that i think about it... it makes more sence that way. no wonder none of my other friends could do it... not for lack of trying" and so she was silent again te animation slipping from her face.
