Madison flushed when Miss Robella laughed at her errant thought. She knew it was a long shot, but at least it was something Madison would be able to understand. Madison understood. Madison was still not satisfied, even after the explanation of the students excelling in one activity or another. Madison had been under the impression that all the students at Cross Academy had in fact excelled to some degree. Were the Night Class just the elite of the elite? She couldn’t wrap her head around the teacher’s explanation. But then again, maybe Madison was just creating something out of nothing because she wanted something exceptional to be different between the two classes – not just something trivial. But Madison wasn’t really the type to exaggerate – even with her imagination; why did this explanation just not sit with her?

Normally, Madison would have been the good kid and just accept what Miss Robella was saying but Madison felt, for whatever reason, completely unsatisfied with the teachers explanation. If only she could have had a moment longer with Travis! Or maybe even Cyrdian… She had to mentally shake the idea from her head.

Cyrdian did seem a bit full of himself, Madison recalled, and that fit with Miss Robella’s story; but Madison reflected on the other Night Class students and noticed that not all of them were that way. Then again, Miss Robella had said some, not all were full of themselves. She knew she shouldn’t generalize but there was something different about them that made her keep generalizing the Night Class students.

Madison took the card from Miss Robella and nodded ”Yes,” she said, hesitantly. It technically did answer her question but did not satisfy her in the lease. ”It won’t happen again, she said, meaning that she would not be found outside of her dorm after curfew again. ”Thank you,” she said, fingering the card. She turned and headed back into the dorm.

Crystal remained silent this time, she watched the tensed verbal exhcange between Travis and Malanaala with an indifferent expression.

<Take it easy... One cannot master a whole different reality in a couple of hours.> She glanced at Malanaala with an assuring smile, giving no hint if she heard her thoughts or not.

"Considering that we are to live under the same roof from now on, I see no inconvenience in that. Besides, better siblings then foes." she glanced at Travis, a polite yet unreadable smile. "And I believe we're already behind the clock, I wouldn't like us to be a source of trouble for you on your first night, Raja." pureblood smiled to the guardian, subtly hinting that they should move on.

Her eyes settled idly over the subjects in her surroundings, yet her mind was racing still. She still had yet to cover for her small, personal database. Raja, was an interesting one, she was having a hard time catching her thoughts, not that she was digging deep anyway.

emiko_firecaster 03-26-2010 12:03 AM

Mala's eyes widened slightly but she nodded almost unperceptably in responce to the thought that crystal had sent her "sorry" she mutters mollified as she tries to dampen and quiet her thoughts eventually succeeding, though it takes her a few minutes.

LyraBlackHeart 03-26-2010 02:45 AM

Mala apologized, saying she didn't think of "sister" in that context. Travis frowned, but quickly erased it from his face as he accepted her apology. "Considering that we are to live under the same roof from now on, I see no inconvenience in that," the other vampire, the pureblood, said. "Besides, better siblings then foes."

Travis agreed with her. It is better to be siblings than foes. Unfortunately, many other vampires would not share that viewpoint. One vampire in particular, Travis thought.

"Crystal is correct. Time for classes is near. I have theatre first. Is there a requirement to be escorted back to the dorm once classes have ended?"

Rising_Violet 03-26-2010 01:10 PM

Rajani listened to the exchange, it really did interest her how Travis chose to speak his words. he was nearly, if not more so, as meticulous as Crystal was about his wording. Yet Mala was not. Speaking of Mala, the Guardian smiled at all of them. "Sounds like you two might have class together, if you have theatre too Crystal, then I can just show all of you to your theatre class." She might have said 'thank you' to Crystal for not wanting to be a source of trouble, however that just wasn't Raja. It was a good thing that the pureblood didn't want to be any trouble, and that was that.

Travis had asked her a question however, and it was right for her to answer it no? She turned back to the school, walking still. They really weren't all that far away, a few more steps and Raja would just open the door ushering them all into the school so that they could scurry off to class, probably skip it and end up speaking amongst themselves about one affair or another. "No, Travis. You do not have to be escorted back to your dorms, seeing as most of the Day Class is fast asleep in the morning when you all are done with class. However the guardians will check the grounds to see if you are out past your curfew so don't make it so that I have to start escorting you all after class.. That would be a bigger pain in the neck than it already is."

There made it to the front door, once the Day Class students took notice of the Night Class students there was likely to be a mob of fawning girls wanting to get a look of the school's 'Elite'. Raja sighed at the idea as she held open the door, what did the Headmistress and teachers tell the Day Class students anyway? That the Nightclass were the undcover children of abnormally gorgeous celebrities?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It didn't take long for Rose to realize what exactly wouldn't happen again, however she nodded in response. "I do hope so Miss Hensley." Moving rolling her chair back a few steps, Rosalynda would wait until she saw Madison go up the stairs before leaving the Sun Dorms, realizing that she was going to be late to teaching her class. She fully came to this realization because she saw Miss Mudhol with the Night Class ahead. A little peeved with herself, she sped up enough to reach the front doors before the other students, and pulled open the door, going inside to wait for them and see if they were actually intending on going to class or not.
Year after year the Night Class would pick a certain set of classes to attend, and often Rosalynda ended up teaching a few something about the subjects she was certified in. However she was usually teaching vampires that either had no prior education and hadn't been able to travel much, or she was teaching very young vampires. The youngest ones could often be the greatest pain, as they didn't know much about themselves. And normally class discussions could turn into how to best handle the comingling of humans and vampires. Rosalynda generally considered most of the Night Class a group of skippers. However they were atypically much older than the human students, really it wasn't to easy to create a structured schoolday for someone 200 years old that had a library of anything about everything in their basement at home.
Valendra 03-26-2010 03:41 PM
"Ah, I'm sorry, but theatre is not among the lessons I've choosen for this year. I'll be attending Mythology on this period." Crystal answered guardian in her silent, melodic voice. "Though, I'm confident I'll be able to find Miss Robella's class once we reach to school building."
That was true, she could find whomever she wanted on her own. She didn't feel the need to explain about her ability, not yet. Besides she didn't have to, there was no reason to be honest. As they passed through the front door, she smiled at the teacher as if Crystal knew she was waiting there.
"Then this shall be my parting for the moment." Then older pureblood lightly touched at Malanaala's shoulder. "Take care." she said with a calm smile.
<Do let me know if you feel no need of it, though I will keep an eye on you.> her vice echoed in Mala's mind as Crystal walked to stand next to Miss Robella, smiling at the group. <If something disturbs you or goes wrong, you only need to call me.> though with those last words, her pale eyes were fixated on the younger girl with a piercing gaze.
She was someone hard to read through, not with that calm and polite manners and choice of words. One had to wait long to find out what she is thinking, or feeling. Patience is an important virtue after all, but for now it seemed as Crystal was really serious about her task of guiding and protecting Malanaala.
emiko_firecaster 03-26-2010 11:42 PM
It wasnt really hard for her to focus her thoughts to send a message and she detected Crystals want for secrecy, so Mala made no movements but sent a message back "I appreciate it but it will probally not be neccessary." out loud she said however "my first class is computer.i then have art soon after. .... ill find the rest aftertwards." "even if i have to ask" Mala thinks to herself.
turning away she heads off down the hall at a light but long pace, which soon brings her to the class room.
Gitana Nova 03-30-2010 11:58 PM
Ah, that's right, Bellatrix. The Headmistress was still by the lake as the events around the school went on. Her blonde hair was tied in a messy bun as her hands traced the whip in her hands. The whip usually would do harm to any vampire that touched it, but only when it was in use. Sighing quickly, she decided that she hung around the lake long enough and began making her way towards the dorm buildings, to make sure there weren't any students walking around the grounds. Day class students were to be sleeping while the Night class were to be in class. There were always a few students that never followed the rules. Okay, so truth be told, she really wasn't going to do her job. She heard a few rustles of bushes and snapping of twigs, but did nothing about it as she walked to the school building. Feeling the urge to intrude on Rosa's class for that night. Of course, as soon as her golden eyes caught sight of the crippled woman in the entrance, she grinned. "Rosa~!"
Rising_Violet 04-03-2010 02:07 PM
(( xD Okay, again if it sucks I sincerely apologize!!! <3))
Raja smiled and nodded, certain that if Crystal asserted she could find a place, then she could. "Okie dokie then, Crystal." Who was this immortal creature to question another's navigation skills. So she cast a passing glance at Rosalynda and the refined pureblood before sweeping into the school on that natural grace she inherited as a vampire, despite trying so hard for too long to suppress it, to stand in the entrance hall, bouncing on her toes, staff held behind her back to usher everyone else to theater class. It was her secret that she wasn't going to lead them to their unknown classes for anymore than just today, after this they were on their own and Rajani was going to patrol the boarders and crack a few misbehaving skulls. "Alright then, Travis, Mala. It's time for me to take you to theater class before you're late and a teacher wants to berate me for it." She turned smartly on her heel and turned down the hall, what had made her so bouncy all of a sudden?
Rosa frowned to see that only a few of the night class showed up this night, and failed to catch Rajani's eye to convey without words that she should be out on the grounds keeping a look out for any early trouble makers. She shook her head lightly as the girl seemed to start a parade down the hallway to the theater wing, but smiled up at Crystal. "If you're the only one in my class this evening, the subject doesn't have to be mythology. Most of the time, my classes don't stay on topic anyway. It's unavoidable with the nightclass." Did the corner of her eyes crinkle into a smile? This was something hardly seen folks! However the smile was gone as soon as the bubbly Bellatrix swept into the room, she turned to the headmaster and nodded, a steely glint in her eye. "Good evening, Headmaster Bellatrix." Clearly drawing that line between friend and business associate. Can you see the backdrop of cold, dark wind, and that flicker of combative lightning?!
(...Okay.. I flourished... My mind is freee from teh sicky-ness! I had toooo! forgive me! -koutou- ))
Valendra 04-04-2010 09:15 PM
Crystal smiled to older looking woman wisely, though this expression might look a little arrogant perhaps.
"Of course, it must be inevitable. Personally I don't mind about the subject on our first period, Mythology is a fascinating subject however-..." she paused hearing headmistress's enterance. "... It may often fail to catch one's interest." she concluded.
There was this thing about the situation, how do you say... Dejavu? She nodded to headmistress with a polite smile, her mind still busy over the issue that was trusted her care. She wondered if they'll be discussing about it. Crystal sure made a good progress on the delicate issue, but she wasn't completely sure what might happen next. Malanaala seemed to be careful and already in her element, though there was always this issue about awakening of a vampire. Things could go bad, as often it was the custom.
"Good evening, Miss Bellatrix." she greeted the other woman.
The darkness of his lids was filled with the sound of Regina Spektor's voice. He'd been laying there for a long while, wishing for sleep. It wouldn't come though. The minutes were dragging by and he wasn't getting any closer to sleep. His eyes opened again, glancing at the clock and then at the empty bed on the other side of the room. Where could his tiny roommate be? Could it be that his absence was the source of Julius's insomnia? The blond thought of this for a moment and almost laughed, that was possibly the most retarded thing he'd heard all day. He sat up just as his stomach growled. Ah, now that was the real reason. Who could sleep on an empty stomach?
Julius tossed the covers off and grabbed a shirt (not wanting to walk about in just his Christmas boxers). He pulled a light blue hair tie off his wrist and secured his hair in a high ponytail with it. Once he paused his iPod and placed it on the nightstand he quietly went out into the hallway. The floor was cold on his bare feet and he shivered. As he went down the steps he winced at every creak and wondered if he'd run into anyone on his late night trip to the kitchen.
On the bottom floor he relaxed a little, not minding a squeak or creak now and then. In the kitchen he made himself a bagel with cream-cheese and raspberry jam. He ate it in the kitchen, not bothering with a plate. Once he wiped his fingers and lips clean, he sighed. There was no desire to go back to bed, only an ache in his fingers to play the piano.
((Eh, well. It's an intro right? Sorry if I get anything wrong. ): ))
Gitana Nova 04-06-2010 10:38 PM
Bellatrix noticed the look Rosa had on her face, but paid no mind to it as she turned to face Crystal, the smile still wide on her lips. "Hello Miss Ravencroft. How are you enjoying class?" There was no point as to asking the wondering Night students to get to class, morning was only hours away. Walking over to the teacher's desk in the room, she took her seat on it, not bothering with chairs, dropping the whip in her hands on to the floor next to her. She couldn't clip it to her pants and she wasn't going to lay it on the desk. "I hope I'm not interrupting much. I just rather not do paperwork right now..." Bella smiled in an embarrassed and apologetic manner as she smoothed out the vest on top of her blouse. "But how is Miss Pysevar doing? A little birdie told me you finally helped her realize what she was." Little birdie? Who? What person was there in the room when Crystal was speaking to Mala about what she really was? If I recall correctly No one. She winked, indicating that she wasn't going to tell who or how she found it. Even her thoughts didn't say who. This Headmistress was truly an odd one.
Rising_Violet 04-07-2010 04:26 AM
(( XD and thus Rosalynda and Crystal were magically teleported into Miss Robella's room! And <.<; If no one minds I'm pushing the Rajani's troupe towards the theatre room.. xD; In a bit I can Time-Jump everything to the morning, when the Night Class are supposed to be returning to their dorms... if that's kosher with everyone else. ))
Rajani walked into the theatre room through one of the many doors, leading the group right onto the stage. She was light on her feet, evidence that the bad mood from earlier apparently hadn't ruined her whole night. As soon as Raja stepped onto the middle of the stage she spun around on her toes, and held the staff out with both hands, palms down. In a swift movement she shortened the extendable staff and attached it back to the clip on her hip. Her red-brown eyes were wandering around the pulley-system above that could be used for various props and lights. "I think Chairman Cross said that the work of the Night Class and Day Class can be put together when it comes to theatre acts... I wonder how that will go.."
Smiling she looked at Travis and Mala, wondering where the teacher was. But the inner thought process didn't stay internal for long, because Raja's smile slipped into a frown and she turned around, her ridiculously long hair trailing at every movement. "I can't just leave you here without a teacher present, where is that particularly melodramatic individual?" Gliding across the stage, she looked into the sound-box and found no one. Which only added to her irritation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Miss Robella kept silent as she wheeled her chair in after Crystal and Bellatrix, eying the whip that was allowed to drop to the floor. "You're not interrupting anything, how could we possibly refuse a visit from our beloved headmistress?" Was her quiet reply in quite a dry tone before she casually pointed a finger at the rose-whip, motioning upwards. The whip coiled on it's own and rose in the air to sit neatly on the corner of the desk that Bellatrix insisted on sitting upon. Rose had thought Crystal's look quite arrogant, however she wasn't going to show that it may have bothered her. Yes, sometimes Mythology could be a particular taste for a particular eye, it didn't always catch someone's interest.

Gitana Nova 04-07-2010 05:35 AM

Bellatrix looked at Rosalynda, having felt her whip placed on the desk as well. Sighing, she gave her a soft smile. "You didn't have to do that, dear." Dear? Well, Bellatrix sure seemed in a happy-child-like mood that early, oh so early, morning. She then went back to waiting for Crystal's responses.

Ah the theater, the place that belonged to only him, being the only Theater teacher currently in the entire school. He was above the stage, on the catwalk that hovered high above, in the ceiling. His sensitive ears had heard the light footsteps of the students that had entered his territory, causing a smirk to spread across his pale lips. That twisted smirk. "Perfect timing." He whispered as he snapped his fingers. At the sound of the snap, strange fog had begun to roll in, becoming very heavy as the lights dimmed greatly, causing it to become extremely dark in the once brightly lit area. He had a special system set up in the theater, a system that only he knew about that included blocks of dry ice and lots of mechanical equipment. Once that was done, an immense flash of light lit up the theater, probably temporarily blinding the students below, as he disappeared from the cat walk, only to appear at the end of the stage. The fog soon disappeared and the lights returned to normal as he gave a slight bow, his smirk now replaced with a soft smile. "A good evening, or in some of your cases, a good morning. I am Mister Neri, your Theater teacher for this school year. I apologize for being a bit tardy, I didn't expect my class to arrive on time." He gave a light laugh, an almost attractive light laugh, as he motioned for them all to sit on the plushed seats of the theater. "Seeing today is the first day of class, let us use this time to get to know each other a little better. Each one of you is allowed to ask me one question, but I will ask you all that very same question after I answer it. So we'll keep this fair. No personal questions, alright?" And that ended with a wink. Honestly, the man wasn't trying to be as attractive as he was being, it was natural for the man.

Rising_Violet 04-07-2010 06:07 AM

When the fog started to drift onto the stage, Raja turned around and rolled her eyes at the scene. "I told you he was melodramatic.." She shielded her eyes from the lights snapping on, cursing under her breath until the fog settled and the lights dimmed. Grinning a bit she moved towards the front of the stage, turning towards the teacher. "At least two of them were on time, I'll be looking for the stragglers in a moment." She turned towards Travis and Mala. "This is where I leave you to Mr. Neri..." She cast a scowl at the man, however it was a kind-hearted one. "I hope you don't mind if I don't stay... I have a job to do after all." What was this though? Rajani was actually hesitating to leave, as if waiting for Mr. Neri's permission. Why on earth would she wait for such a theatrical human's permission to leave? It was preposterous.

Rose merely scoffed and crossed her arms, turning her head quietly. "You know I like to keep my area neat.." What was that look in her eye? Well even though it was Bellatrix that had the feelings most of the time, there was something bothering the Mythology teacher. She really wasn't being her typical, outspoken self.

Valendra 04-07-2010 05:42 PM

Pureblood settled to the desk in front of teacher's desk. Putting aside her bag, she placed her hands together as Crystal smiled politely at both women.

"You were infromed right, I explained her true nature to Miss Pysevar. Surprisingly enough she was incredibly calm and mature on acknowleding it." her smile melted into a grim look though, a slight frown creased her forehead a little. She drew her hands under her chin. "I have not seen myself a single vampire, who acknowledge such a knowledge so calmly. Even if they did, their none of the youngling's awakenings were that peaceful." she paused a moment before continuing, collecting her thoughts. "Miss Pysevar is, I'm afraid, one that prefers being in control on course of the events. She dislikes any superior interference, thus I believe if she was to loose her cool, she might refuse any help."

This much was true until now, reading through minds was giving Crystal a level of personality analysis. She was almost never wrong until today, while very often she wished she was proved wrong many times. She was always alert tonight, her mind wandering off through many thoughts, some faint mumblings and some being loud unintellectual voices, as she choosed not to listen each very carefully.

"So, I dare say we should be still on guard at a level."

emiko_firecaster 04-07-2010 08:17 PM

it had taken alot for mala to not ruin the teachers hard work. she was well aware of how the fog was created having done something simular before, though she didnt perdict the flash of lights and was temporarily blinded as a result, though she didnt miss the emotions coming from him, as she was already growing stronger at her gift. as soon as she realized she was using her powers however she locked down on them imagining hard a calm mountain lake, as she so often does. she had noticed Raja's hesitation at her departure though she wasnt sure what to make of the teacher... he seemed soeasy going on the inside yet.... dark to her... she cocked her head staring at the teacher a frown on her face as she pondered the teacher. immersing herself into her gift she stared at the proffessor as shock and then disgust flashes across her face before its smoothed into its expresionless mask. this time, even though Mala fought to find her calming place in her mind where she goes if her emotions got too out of control, or she was reading into others too much, she couldnt find it. she then erected a barrier against her sence, but his dark emotions, or as she figured, deadly emotions continued to batter against her self erected shield causing a strain to build on her. it she didnt know how long she could stand it but she began to strongly feel like she had to get out, one way or another.

however while all this was happening inside her head her face had kept a expressionless cast, except for her brief loss of control, since she had walked in the class. not wanting to alarm crystal she sought to make her barrier stronger by concentrating on the barrier completely. however her empathy would not quite and the emotions from the teacher seemed to be knawing on her wall, and her brain trying to find a way in.

Gitana Nova 04-07-2010 09:58 PM

When his sensitive ears caught the hesitation in Rajani's voice, his gentle smile grew a little. Jumping from the end of the stage and landing gently on his feet, he walked over to the Guardian. "That is quite alright, Miss Mudhol. I must not keep you from your duties." He took her free hand and gently brushed his lips against her knuckles, again, taking a small bow. "Please come visit us again when you are able to." He knew how to flatter women, no matter how old they may be. Ah, but something caught his eyes after he spoke to the Guardian. The other Pureblood in the room seemed very unsure about something. He could almost feel her insecurity. "I'm very grateful that I at least have two of my students here, after all, it is only the first day of classes. Let us hope the others are merely... lost." He walked over to Malanaala, his red eye never losing their softness, as his lips turned into a soft frown. "Are you quite alright, Miss?" His light colored hair covered his right eye as he leaned his head down, giving him that ominous appearance, even with the concern showing in his pale face. "Please, sit down. I'd rather not have my lovely students grow ill on their first night of classes." He helped Mala sit as he turned to face Travis, motioning for him to sit down as well. "Perhaps we will skip the questions and just go get something for you two to munch on. I'm sure the kitchen is still open this late at night." My, wasn't this man worried about his students. Taking a moment, he stepped back from his students, a soft smile now on face, as crossed his arms behind his back, waiting for his students reply as he glanced at Raja, his eyes twinkling delightfully.

-----

Bellatrix leaned back on the desk a little as she listened carefully to what Crystal began to say, a few loose stands of her bangs covering her golden eyes, her smile now replaced with an emotionless face. Yes, the woman had indeed heard of tales involving vampires much like Malanaala, of beings who were raised as humans but were eventually told of their true nature. Victor was actually one of those children, he was much more of a carefree spirit before he learned of the truth. His first years as a vampire, he was a serious individual, much like Gabriel was. Always speaking in monotone, sometimes jumping to conclusions without thinking about the results of his actions, it took a bit of work, but Bellatrix was able to calm his attitude down. Pieces of his past behavior still remain within the boy, but they were rarely seen. A small smirk flickered momentarily on her lips when she thought about how Mala would refuse help from superiors. Why were so many young vampires were like that? It made no sense sometimes. "Being on guard would be a wise move... " Bellatrix finally spoke, glancing at her fellow council member. "What's wrong? You don't seem like yourself tonight...?" Now the woman was curious as to why her friend was acting the way she was. This rarely happened, so whenever Rosa wasn't in her usual mood, the Headmistress knew that something was wrong or going down.

( Weird time to jump in i guess)

Kai stared around his dorm in amazement."It's better than my room back home.." The Pureblood thought as he dropped his bags on his neatly made bed," Since We arrived late.. I think i'll go to my classes tommorow" Kai thought."I wonder what Kuri's doing" Kai said as he stared at the door.
"Wow!"Kuri said in an excited voice," If this is what the dorms look like.. I Wonder how the rest of the School looks like"Kuri thought. Kuri noticed that the room wasnt empty, She must have a roommate she thought to herself.Kuri decided to unpack her things and get comfortable.As She was unpacking she heard a familiar sound.." Is.. Is That Kai?"she said anxiouslly as the vampire stared at the door
Kai took a look at his schedule and memorized it."Alright ! i got it memorized" Kai said happily as he stuck a lolipop in his mouth.The vampire then averted his attention to his Violin case and stared at it for a moment," i Think i'll play it for a bit" He thought as he was unzipping his case. Kai took his Violin and stood out in the hallway by his door, The Vampire stared at his instrument for a bit and then started playing, Hoping none of the teachers would hear him

(sry if its short o.o)

Raja was obviously flustered by the teacher's flirting. If it were not for the fact that she were a few centuries old, she might have thought a little more strongly about a teacher flirting with a student. However she hid her obvious infatuation by squaring her shoulders and unclipping her staff. A snap of the wrist was all that was needed to have it extend to three times it's smaller length. "I'll think about it.." Was her casual response to his offer, a mischievous smirk on her face. Rajani was gone in a flash, using her unnatural speed. She much preferred to be outside anyway. Now if only Victor weren't off duty, that would make being outside so much better.

She sighed lightly as she stood on top of the school building, looking down on the light that was on in the Sun Dorm kitchen. It wasn't unusual for a Day Class student to get a snack in the middle of the night, even if Rajani didn't know Julius personally, he didn't find a problem with him being awake as long as he didn't go outside. With a running start, Raja leaped into a tree and jumped onto the Sun Dorm roof, walking along the edge to make sure no one was outside and about. When she reached the edge she jumped into another three, and hopped down from it, using the same trick she had earlier to keep from hitting the ground too hard. The glimmer of strings just beneath her toes apparent in the moonlight. She stepped off of the strings and they disappeared entirely as she walked up to the Moon Dorm. Time to harass those who were skipping class.. and if not.. there was always Victor. That jerk deserved it for cutting out on guardian duty the very first day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rosalynda listened to Crystal's tale as well, nodding her head in agreement. It wasn't typically a pretty sight when a pureblood vampire awakened... It could vary from a mental breakdown to a rampage of blood lust. Rose had been there often enough for Victor and Bellatrix, and who-knows-else. She looked up with a start when Bella addressed her. Rosalynda didn't know how to tell her best friend that she had a gut feeling that something wasn't quite right, that or she just didn't want to tell Bellatrix yet, no reason to give Akiko the right to gloat perhaps. But Aunt Rose had an all too quick answer, "Gabe is sick." That was a valid enough reason for Rose to have become so quiet right? "He has been so sick this past year... I don't think he's been so sick since he came to live with me." Now that wasn't why Rosa was quiet, but it was a pretty good excuse.
emiko_firecaster 04-08-2010 03:21 AM
" thank you sir it'll be nice to have some help to the kitchen" mala did not put a heavy amout of stress on the word nor did she let her mask of pleasent indifference to slip off her face. she was surprised by the shiver that went through her body as the male had gotten closer, his emotions swamping her making her scramble to shore up her mental barrier. one word flashed through her mind as she saw the proffessor lean back with a glance at raja: playboy. "this is a man who knows how to talk a girl out of her panties, despite his black emotions. i must becareful not to be caught alone by this teacher... for what ever reaason." her tone, though she struggled to keep it in check, still came out colder then usual. "perhaps you could tell us why they made you the theater director?"
Valendra 04-08-2010 08:00 PM
Crystal was listenning to both women's exchange of words, following body language and expressions carefully. It was often that she only followed expressions, not words. There was always a hidden, mysterious tale laying in others' behaviours. Even the most skilled players needed their break at a point, and catching those moments was her favourite game of all times. So, she concluded that subject spoken was not related to the mood of Miss Robella at all. That was curious, she knew why Gabriel was sick, or better phrased, more sick than before. But, of course she wasn't going to say anything to anyone, as long as there wasn't a true victim around.
Suddenly she frowned, a sensation through the low mumbling voices all around has alarmed her. First thing coming her mind was Malanaala. Young girl was doing her best about this barrier of hers, but still she was weak against Crystal's skills. She leaned back in her desk and forced through that tranquility barrier. During her long years of using her talent, she came to realize that there was not only one thought lingering idly in one's mind. It was exact the opposite, no one she met could fully empty their mind, thinking nothing. There was always their subconciousness thinking over other things. And that was how she could read thoughts of young pureblood's despair and doubts. And while doing this, one could not never realise she was peeking through their mind, Crystal was that skilled, leaving no trace behind.
She could hear voice of drama teacher in Mala's mind, her eyes was looking into distance, not listenning to the teachers anymore. Then, leaving young vampire's mind alone, she tried to focus on this man, who seemed to be a perilious threat according to Mala. Just mere echoes of his thoughts was enough to make her blood freeze, he had this dark tune in his voice, that made Crystal not want to read his mind.
((darn here i was hoping to make the break down a surprise to your character >.<))
Mala frowned as she felt the intrusion, the walls crumbling down moments before the teacher's own feelings swamped her. she had to grit her teath to keep her face expressionless, though her body draws itself up tight like a bow. the struggle was hader thsis time for her to surface from the emotions pounding on her. fot it seemed that as she fought to concentrate on something else, she would always end up concentrating what she wasnt trying to concentrate on. thus her barrier, though erect, would crumble, if the teacher even lightly brushed her. she didnt know how too accept her gift fully, as she tried to hold herself back from it, as had always worked for her before, which was only making it worse, since she was fighting a part of herself.
((ive sett her up.... shell have the breakdown near the cafeteria where the teacher should hold the door open for her and "accidentidly" touch her... that is if your willing ^^))
Madison had entered the Moon Dorm building but she was still feeling completely restless and fidgety. She paced around the fountain in irritation. The answers she had gotten from Ms. Robella had been of no help at all. She thumbed the card gently as a reminder that she could call if she came up with more questions. Which she would. She stopped pacing for a moment and sat down, thinking the day and evening over again in her head. What was the difference? She agreed with Ms. Robella that the cold hands sort of thing could have been a fluke; you can't build statistics on a small study sample. But she still wasn't convinced. Madison wasn't a moron and the fact that the teacher had said that the other class was an elitist class hadn't set right with her. Maybe it was jealousy? Madison wasn't one to be jealous or competitive but she was in the Day Class; while the Night Class was considered "better" somehow. She just couldn't buy it. Standing up, she stomped back towards her dorm room, deciding it was time to write a letter to her father.
David stretched and yawned, still sprawled out in his bed. He had fallen asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow and had been asleep for some time. He stood and stretched again. He may as well get started with his day. Walking over to his desk he shoved the necessary books into his bag and then walked over to the closet, dressing quickly and sliding his socks and shoes on he picked up his guitar again. He really had a lot of time to kill before his classes started so he figured he could work on his song again. He headed towards the lobby, quietly so he wouldn't disturb anyone else who may be still sleeping.
Travis followed Raja to the theatre room silently, the corner of his lips upturned slightly. Something strange was happening with Mala - well, stranger than she already was. It was small, and Travis almost missed it at first, but as they stood before the stage and watched Mr. Neri make his appearance, entrancing first the Guardian and then trying his hand at Mala, the unsteadiness in Mala's mind began to grow. Travis watched her as Mr. Neri approached. On the outside she seemed calm and collected, only slight hints at the turmoil brewing inside bubbling to the surface: a twitch here, a frown there. But nothing to indicate a complete mental break. Not yet.
"...get something for you two to munch on. I'm sure the kitchen is still open this late at night." Travis only caught the tail end of what Mr. Neri was saying, but it was enough. The way Mala was watching him, the way the teacher was returning her gaze...
Travis was relieved when Mr. Neri mentioned a snack, as the vampire had forgotten a blood tablet before leaving the dorm. Perhaps a change of scenery would snap the two of them out of whatever battle they were engaged in. He had to be prepared for anything, though.
"Yes, I do believe a midnight snack would be most helpful." He chuckled slightly. "I seemed to have forgotten to have dinner in my haste to be on time for class. My apologies. I hope it isn't too much of an inconvenience."
