Kuwabara nodded his agreement to Katsumi as he made his way over to the building. The entrance was broken down, and now that he was closer, he could see the tunnel. Making sure to check for scouts he made his way over as stealthily as he was capable of. He searched the area for an stray scouts, sensing no energy apart from two people deep into the tunnel he made his way inside. "It doesn't look like there is any security in this area."

Present Time. 8:15 am. Borderlands. Daevari Fort. Main Barracks & Armory.
The dark haired woman smirked at Yusuke's simple question. "Of course not, if I simply hand her over, you will attack me." She said as she looked to the corner. "You can stop hiding, I already know you are there." She said to the two other demons as she grabbed Artemis' wrist firmly and lifted the Katar to her ankle. She sliced the thin almost invisible string holding the girl up, only it wasn't a string, more like a web. Artemis fell to the ground, only the upper half of her body was kept from hitting the ground. She scowled at the demon woman. "If any of you dare to attack me, I will slice open the veins in her wrist and the poison will spread. You won't have a chance to save her, for she will die within a matter of seconds." Natsien smirked as she tugged on Artemis' arm. "Now come. Master Ixion wishes to meet all of you." She said as she led the way, keeping her grip firm on the girl's wrist, her nails sharpened claws ready to slice through skin if necessary.

'Kuso.' Hiei moved from his hiding place to stand beside Yusuke, arms crossed across his chest and a decidedly unfriendly expression on his face. Hoping she might be able to offer them some information, he reached for Artemis' mind with his own. He hadn't tried before, respecting her privacy, but this qualified as an emergency. This woman seemed to know her, so perhaps Artemis would know a weakness they could exploit.

Kurama followed Hiei, looking much less worried than he felt. There was no sense in showing fear to one's enemies. He ran a hand through his hair, using the inconspicuous motion to catch hold of a few seeds that might prove useful if the woman holding Artemis faltered even for a second. He palmed the seeds with expert thieving skills and waited for an opportunity to use them.

Yusuke shrugged nonchalantly, "Whatever, we were going there anyway." He said with only slightly forced cheerfulness. "This way we don't have to fight our way in." He whistled an annoying tune as they walked, hoping to piss the woman off enough to get her to screw up.

"You're right," Kat mumbled. She was pretty anxious now, having expected some kind resistance. Wasn't this princess supposed to be important? Why would she be left unguarded? The tunnel was pretty dark, so the demon girl relied more on her sense of hearing and her spiritual awareness to make sure nothing snuck up on them. She could also feel the couple of energies up ahead, but she wouldn't let her guard down until they were well clear of this base.

Natsien smirked as she led the way, she could hear all the tiny movements. The redhead running his hand through his hair to collect a few weapons, and all other things. Artemis however could sense Hiei's presence and she did not resist it. Knowing that it was important to reveal some information. 'Natsien is a spider demon who once worked as a member of the Royal Guard. She was known to be a skilled alchemist, poison is her specialty. I never knew her well enough to know her weakness, she disappeared one day, no one in Niflheim knew where she'd disappeared to. I do know that she is fast and not easily fooled, she can also hear the slightest movements without a problem' Artemis thought. Over the years of using her psychic powers, she had grown quite used to focusing her thoughts.

Present Time. 8:19 am. Borderlands. Daevari Fort. Dungeon.
Kuwabara made his way straight into the tunnel, also wary of any changes in the atmosphere. As he made his way to the first energy, he saw a door blocking the way, and he kicked it down. A young woman sat on the floor, softly tugging on the dirtied white dress she was wearing. Her soft pink eyes looked up at him and she jumped to her feet, wary of him. "It's okay, we're here to rescue you." Kuwabara said. The girl shook her head. "No, Lady Felicia is in the cell nextdoor. Please, save her." The girl pleaded, staying away from the orange haired man in front of her.

Saravi Boo 04-27-2010 07:59 PM

Hiei relayed the information to the other two members of the team, careful to keep the thoughts shielded in case anyone else happened to have mind reading abilities. 'Is she faster than me?' He asked thoughtfully.

Kurama absorbed the information like a sponge adding some to his growing mental picture of Artemis as well as trying to figure out how to use the information against the spider demon. He ran his hand through his hair again as an idea struck him. 'You may want to cover your ears in a few seconds.' He told Hiei who passed the message to Yusuke and Artemis. Behind Kurama's back, a small flower bloomed silently in his hand. As the petals opened an ear piercing, excruciatingly loud noise began to emanate from it. They had already lost the element of surprise and he wasn't about to be marched in to be slaughtered like some sort of sheep. Creatures with sensitive ears were very susceptible to sonic based attack like this shriek bloom. With any luck the spider demon would let go of Artemis to instinctively cover her ears. Kurama's own sensitive ears were aching and ringing as he managed to cover only one with his free hand. A small trickle of blood ran from the other and he was thankful that he wasn't in his demon form. The noise would have been ten times more incapacitating to the silver haired youko.

Hiei just managed to send the message out to Yusuke and Artemis before the noise started. The sound cut through his skull and made his ears ring but Hiei's hearing wasn't all that sensitive to begin with and he was willing to endure the pain. His eyes were glued to the spider demoness, as soon as she let go of Artemis he would attack.

Yusuke slammed his hands over his ears as the blood curdling noise cut through the corridor. They be lucky if any of them could hear when this was over. 'What the heck is Kurama thinking?' He thought with a grimace. The whole base could probably hear the racket that plant was making, though it was likely muffled by the walls that contained it.

Natsien did indeed hear the noise, perhaps much worse than anyone else in the hallway. She let out a high pitched shriek all her own as she tried to resist letting go of the girl. Her nails were dangerously close to digging into the skin just to prevent from letting go. Artemis just barely managed to cover her ears, but the noise was excrutiatingly painful. Only a few seconds later, Natsien couldn't take it anymore and she let go of Artemis to cover her ears as she screamed in pain. She fought the urge to run away when she sensed an ally and smirked, immediately grabbing the girl's wrist again as she tried to run away. She did her best to ignore the sound in her ears, which was so much worse.

"What in the Hell is that racket?" A deep, yet still womanly voice rang out in the hallway, somehow being heard over the plant. A demon stepped out of a separate hallway, glaring at the redhead and focusing her energy on the plant behind his back, lighting it on fire. "Enough of this madness. Master Ixion is waiting." The woman turned on the spot, her blood red hair flipping into place. She was wearing a mask to hide her face. Her outfit was very covering, yet also showed just enough skin. "Do not try anything else." The fire demoness said firmly as she led the way, Natsien following just behind her, a smirk on the spider demon's face.

Saravi Boo 04-27-2010 08:32 PM

Kurama dropped the plant as it caught fire. 'Drat.' He had been too focused on the enemy in front and hadn't sensed the one behind them. The sound died away as the plant was consumed in the flames. The redhead grimaced as he realized he now couldn't hear much of anything at all with his left ear and the right was only slightly better. He'd have to change forms if he wanted all his senses back up to where they should be. 'Sorry.' He sent the apology for his failure through Hiei.

The fire demon ignored the ringing in his ears. He caught a flicker of Kurama's discovery of his damaged hearing and stepped closer to the fox as they continued to be forced along the corridor. He knew that Kurama relied heavily on hearing and smell when he fought. To try to fight without one of his primary senses could leave the redhead vulnerable to attack. Hiei would make sure to be there to guard his fox's back. He passed on the apology, amplifying Kurama's mental voice so the other two could hear it. 'Any other ideas?' He asked silently, not liking the fact that the odds were getting better for the enemies with every step they took. He linked all four of their minds using the jagan, so he wouldn't have to keep relaying the pieces of conversation.

Yusuke smiled back over his shoulder at the redhead. 'It was a good try. She let go for a minute. I just wasn't fast enough to take advantage of it.' He tried to think of an idea. 'Hiei try to take out the spider before she can poison Artemis. Kurama be ready to try and heal her if he isn't fast enough. I'll take on the newcomer.' He suggested eagerly.

'NO!' Artemis shouted in her thoughts. 'They're bringing us to the leader. Let's not waste any energy when it's not necessary. There's little doubt who is behind this anyway. Ixion, a shapeshifter demon who was the leader of the Royal Guard. If we fight anyone, it will probably be him, and we most likely won't win even with our strength at it's strongest.' She thought desperately, warning them. She didn't know anything about the newcomer, and that alone was hard enough, she didn't want anyone getting hurt just to save her. She hated the feeling of being the one who needed saving, and she didn't want them to see it that way.

Saravi Boo 04-27-2010 09:33 PM

Yusuke frowned but couldn't argue with the logic since he had said much the same thing just a few minutes earlier. 'Yeah, I guess you're right.' He sulked along with his hands in his pockets. 'But I'm sure we can beat this Icky guy. You just wait and see.' He told them confidently.

Kurama felt something running down the side of his neck and wipe it away with his sleeve. 'Damn. Ruptured eardrum.' No wonder he couldn't hear anything on that side. Even with spirit energy healing, it was going to take time to fix that, and he doubted their captors would let him work on it as they walked.

Only Hiei caught the fox's thought because it wasn't on the surface where he had tied the other three minds together. 'When we get home, you can go to Yukina. She'll fix it for you.' He reassured the fox silently, taking care to keep the thoughts away from Artemis and Yusuke. No sense in worrying all of them and Kurama wouldn't appreciate the extent of his problem being shared with the group anyway. He was always one to downplay his injuries. Hiei's reassurance was two fold; the fox would get his hearing back and they would get home together.

Kuwabara moved from the strange girl's cell to the one next to it and this tima had to use his Spirit Sword to break the door down. There was a scream and Kuwabara looked in at the girl who was cowering in the corner of the small room. Her eyes wide with fear as she tried to figure out who he was. "Lady Felicia!" The girl from the other room ran in and hugged the girl with the shirt black hair. She was wearing something that he wouldn't have expected a princess to wear, but the fabric did look expensive. "It's ok, we're here to rescue you." He said with a smile. Felicia calmed herself when Yuki ran in and assured her that everything was fine.

She got to her feet, dusting off her clothes and walking out into the hall, smiling at the orange haired boy. "Thank you very much for coming to rescue me. But you shouldn't have come here. If they get away with the artifact, there could be a lot of problems." She said, worried that these two people were her rescuers. "Nah, my friends are handling that situation. We just gotta catch up to 'em." Felicia nodded solemnly as she turned to Yuki and then at the other demon girl. "Well, thank you, but if we are to meet your friends, we need to get moving. There is a tunnel that connects to the main complex. The bandits brought me to this dungeon through it." She said as she pointed the way as she remembered it in reverse. Kuwabara smiled and nodded. "Stay close, Princess, we can't afford to lose you after we just rescued you."

Present Time. 8:33 am. Borderlands. Daevari Fort. Main Barracks & Armory.
Artemis tensed slightly as a door loomed ahead of them, being pulled along by the cruel spider woman was not the most pleasant experience. The demon's claws were sharp and painful, even when they weren't breaking the skin. Natsien threw the door open to a grand room, whose ceiling was open, broken down as if from an assault. She smirked as she could see the back of the man who was their leader. She used as much force as she was capable of to shove Artemis away from herself, and she walked forward. "Master Ixion, the intruders have arrived." She said cheerfully, the sound was reather eerie and sent a chill down Artemis' spine. Little did Natsien know that she had left herself open for attack the moment she let the girl go.

Artemis stumbled a few steps and then eventually lost her balance, falling to the floor. She managed to land on her hands and knees, but she was annoyed that she was being treated this way. Morcana, the demon woman who had showed up to rescue the spider demon moved around the Team and into the main room. She was gone a second later, standing by the side of the man whose back was turned towards the entire group. It seemed he wasn't interested in looking at them yet, and Morcana waited to see what the Spirit Detective would do to the spider woman.

Saravi Boo 04-28-2010 03:40 AM

Hiei was the fastest to react. He drew his sword and lunged at the spider demoness the instant she let Artemis go. Her superior attitude had really pissed him off and he channeled that anger into speed and ferocity. He was nothing but a blur to Kurama as he launched a flurry of attacks designed to 'Make french fries,' as Yusuke had once phrased it, out of the spider woman.

Kurama had pulled his rose from his hair and transformed the innocent looking flower into his deadly whip in a matter of seconds. He watched the other two enemies warily, leaving Hiei to tackle the cruel spider demoness. He would ensure there was no interference in the fight by their other captors.

Yusuke skirted around the fight and confronted the man that was obviously the leader. "Alright, buddy. Hand over the artifact." He ordered simply. He figured it was worth a try. What did they have to lose by asking? He was rather hoping the man would refuse though. He was itching to pound someone to mush.

Natsien barely had any time to react, and she just barely managed to dodge the assault. She pulled out her Katars, ready to counter-attack when her cuts appeared all over her body. Her expression became blank as she slowly fell to pieces on the floor, her form melted into a rather foul smelling purple goo that began melting the floor. Artemis got up from the floor and looked over, a slight smile on her face. She noticed the red haired woman was smirking at their comrades downfall, obviously they didn't care about their allies. Artemis noticed that Yusuke flat out demanded the artifact, and she was afraid to hold her breath.

There was a deep chuckle as he turned around to face them, his lightly tanned skin at strange odds with his dull red hair. His eyes were as black as night and he merely gazed upon the group with a bemused expression. "Sadly, I cannot simply allow that to happen. You see, I need the Staff of Life to bring back my Lord." He said in a very calm voice. He glanced over at Artemis. "It's been a long time, my little runaway. Did you really think you could avoid your fate? Your destiny?" He asked, his eyes narrowing slightly as he watched her. Artemis spit on the floor in his direction. "Don't you talk to me about fate and destiny!" She called back, her anger rising. She had been right all along, her vision had not been false.

Morcana wasn't interested in the fight to come, she knew what the outcome would be, and knew that she would fight them at a later time, so she turned to Ixion. "Master Ixion, I will be taking my leave. I do not care to see the deaths of these people. I shall meet you at the destination." She said as she turned away from him and the group. Ixion smiled, "Then go, dear Morcana. Secure the area for my arrival." He said, as if he knew that he was not going to be defeated. Not a moment later, Morcana was gone, leaving the group to be dealt with by Ixion.

Saravi Boo 04-29-2010 04:46 AM

Hiei looked his sword over, seeing what the spider demoness' remains were doing to the floor, but the cuts had been so quick nothing remained on the blade. He eyed the disgusting remains scornfully. 'Should've done that to start with.' He told Kurama silently. 'It would've saved us all a lot of trouble.'

'Indeed.' The fox demon moved around the melting goo to stand just behind Yusuke and he vaguely noticed Hiei moving to stand beside him. He wasn't the slightest bit surprised that the fire demon took up a position on his deafened side. Kurama held his whip at the ready. The redhead was pleased when the demoness, who had interrupted his escape attempt in the hallway, left. That hopefully would help even the odds a bit. He still couldn't hear a thing in one ear and the other sounded like he was underwater. Thus, he had trouble making out what was being said by Yusuke and the enemy leader. However if Yusuke's grin was any indication, they were about to have a fight.

Yusuke grinned broadly and smacked his fist into his opposite palm. "Okay then, we can do this the hard way. I never liked the easy way anyway." With no further warning he pointed his finger at Ixion and fired off his signature weapon. "SPIRIT GUN!"

It took only a split second, but within that simple amount of time, Ixion moved from the spot where he had been standing just before the energy attack could hit him. He reappeared only inches away from Artemis. "You can still join me, you know. There will always be a place for you by my side." He whispered softly, his voice laced with honey, a seductive technique. Artemis spun on the spot, swinging her hand as she did, nearly hitting his face, but she was stopped. Her wrist caught in his grip. "Come now, I'm sure you don't want your friends to die?" It seemed his voice was only growing sweeter. Artemis kicked up with her left leg, managing to kick him in the abdomin, forcing him to retreat. "I will never join you." She hissed as she tried to focus her anger. He reappeared standing on a ledge high above them. "Too bad! I will have to kill all of you now." The honey laced tone was gone, and his eyes seemed darker than before.

Faiyth 04-30-2010 12:30 AM

Katsumi nodded in agreement, "Please don't fall behind or leave our sight." The demoness sounded calm, but she felt uneasy. If no one was guarding the princess, then the other group must have their hands full right now. "I'll take the lead, if that's alright." She spoke up, glancing over at Kuwabara briefly. "Let's get going, shall we?" With that said, she started off in the direction her highness had pointed in. The tunnel wasn't too far off and soon she was sprinting down the length of the enclosed space. Kat occasionally looked over her shoulder as she ran, just to make sure everyone else was close behind. She could sense their energies, but a little visual reassurance never hurt.

Kuwabara urged the princess and the other girl to go ahead of him so that he could take up the rear position. If anyone dared to come at them through the tunnel, he would know it. Felicia stayed close to Katsumi, always within her line of sight when she looked back to see if they were still there. Yuki, though she seemed an innocent, and harmless person, she was glad to be in the middle, also to protect the princess. It would be a very necessary position. She let her energy spread out, sensing the water buried deep under the ground, trapped by the layers and layers of solid earth. If she could managed to find a weak spot, she could bring the water to her as a weapon, like she always did.

Present Time. 8:38 am. Borderlands. Daevari Fort.
Drea had finally made it to the main complex, it had taken her several tries, and many near-death experiences with the local fauna, but she had made it. Looking up at the main building, she took a deep breath, but quickly grabbed onto her side, the pain still lingering from her wounds. She had left her guide behind to come closer. She simply had to make it in time, or she feared the life of the Princess would be lost.

Saravi Boo 05-01-2010 03:28 AM

Yusuke grinned. "Kill us all? That wouldn't be any fun. I'm impressed though. You dodged my spirit gun. Let's see if you can dodge this!" He raised his fist towards Ixion. "Shotgun!!" He fired a barrage of blasts, hoping at least some of them might hit.

Hiei saw Yusuke's attack go off and decided to use the flashy shotgun for a distraction. He blurred into position behind the Ixion and launched a flurry of sword swings. With Yusuke's attack blinding him from the front, perhaps he wouldn't be paying as much attention to his rear guard.

Kurama moved as close to Ixion as he dared, not wanting to get in the way of Yusuke's blasts or Hiei's swordsmanship. From his position slightly to the side of the battle, he threw a few energy charged seeds at the enemy leader. One bloomed at the man's feet, vines shooting out and grabbing at his legs. Another seed was aimed right at the man himself, one of Kurama's plants that would feed on flesh as it tried to grow into the opponent's body.

Martel Irasia 05-01-2010 06:11 PM

Present Time. 8:40 am. Borderlands. Daevari Fort. Main Barracks & Armory.
Ixion, as much as he knew he could dodge the energy blasts, he felt a bit like showing off, so he stayed still, using his hands to redirect the attacks. One blast seared his shoulder and he felt cold steel slice through his back, forcing him to move if he wanted to avoid being sliced into pieces. Just as he was moving, vines shot up around his legs and he growled as he used his own hands to remove the vines, quickly moving out of the way to avoid the last attack from the redhead. Just as he was worried about his three opponents he neglected to notice the bright orb of energy coming at him from behind. He flew forward several meters, slamming into the wall, but using his hands to prevent from being completely vulnerable. Letting loose a low growl he turned and saw the four people in the room. Artemis was laready preparing another orb between her hands, channeling her energy through her palms and condensing the energy into the form of an orb. He smirked as he lifted his hands into the air and bellowed a laugh. "I've never felt so exhilarated before. Come, Artemis, show me what you've got!" He shouted, showing that he wasn't as interested in the powers of the other three.

Saravi Boo 05-02-2010 06:19 PM

Yusuke did not appreciate being ignored. "Hey, don't you know ignoring people is rude!?" He yelled out and launched himself physically at Ixion. If energy attacks weren't going to work, he would just beat the guy into paste.

Hiei rolled his eyes at Yusuke's warped sense of etiquette and continued his attempts to slice Ixion into a few hundred pieces. He considered using the kokuryuha but it wasn't feasible in the enclosed space with so many highly flammable allies around. Plus, he might destroy the artifact accidentally.

Kurama pulled out a rose that obediently bloomed into his trademark rose whip. He lashed out at Ixion in between volleys from the other two.

Martel Irasia 05-02-2010 06:51 PM

Present Time. 8:42 am. Borderlands. Daevari Fort. Main Barracks & Armory.
Ixion merely smiled as the Spirit Detective launched at him in a full-on assault. He used one hand to block each blow, every now and then simply dodging as needed. With his other hand he pulled out a short sword and used it to deflect the attacks from the fire demon who continued to try and slice him. They were both very fast, but he was also, and it wasn't hard to keep track of their movments. He had to move quickly every once in a while to avoid the whip, though he felt a slice of pain and looked briefly at his arm where it seemed one of the thorns had tore through his skin.

Artemis could not quite say the same, she was having a hard time following every strike, every attack, even though she could follow their positions. After a while she gave up on the orb of energy and she ran forward. She channeled her energy through her arms as she came at him from the side. Ixion turned to her, swinging the sword at her, she grabbed the blade head on, flipping over it to kick the demon in the chest. Ixion stumbled for a second, getting a gash across his shoulder from another attack. She ran at him again, but he grabbed her fist and flung her away. "You'll never beat me that way." He said with a laugh. "Sorry if I seem so rude, Detective, but Artemis and I know each other. Now, how about we get serious." He said with a smirk on his face.

Saravi Boo 05-02-2010 07:14 PM

Yusuke was starting to really get pissed at this guy. He stepped back for a moment. "You want serious? Okay, I'll get serious." He grinned and smoothly shifted into his demon form. He then launched himself at the haughty man again, faster and with more power in each hit than before.

Hiei smirked at Yusuke's change. The detective must have been practicing that for some time. Hiei didn't feel the need to use his own higher form, not yet. He simply kept up his attacks relentlessly, grimly satisfied whenever he felt his blade connect with the enemy's flesh. They would wear him down with time.

Kurama smiled, "Well, I can't let Yusuke have all the fun, now can I?" He said lightly. In a swirl of petals he transformed into his silver haired form and used the theatrical motion to cover a few more wepons flicked in Ixion's direction. This time the vines that reached for the man's feet were wickedly barbed, and the other objects were the seed of a blood rose that could desiccate a body in a matter of minutes, and a small sample of a type of moss that secreted a paralytic oil.

[[OOC: Imma add a door just so I can break it down, buuut if that bothers you Dae, I'll edit this.]]

As the group ran on for a few more minutes, Katsumi could see a very faint and muffled light quickly approaching. Her pace slowed dramatically as she was suddenly face-to-face with a door. She reached her hand out, first trying to pry it open to no avail. She could feel the others' energy on the other side and there something else too. "This is ridiculous, who puts a door at the end of a tunnel?" She huffed, pulling her right fist back. Energy swiftly gathered in the limb and the demoness dwelt the stubborn door a, for her, very weak punch. The door squealed loudly as it was ripped from its hinges. "Woah, what's going on here?" Kat asked, standing in the empty door frame and looking in at the fight happening across the room.

Martel Irasia 05-02-2010 10:29 PM

((OOC: It's okay, the door bit is funny... you can leave it... xD And sorry for the wall of text... Dx))

Kuwabara watched as the door burst off it's hinges and came out to see the fight already going on. "Oh, come on, you guys couldn't have waited for me?" He complained loudly as two energy swords appeared, one in each hand. He rushed forward to help his teammates but was blasted back almost immediately by the enemy who only happened to turn at the right time. Ixion took note of the new arrivals, one of them the courier, who he knew could be dangerous in her own right. Felicia stood in the doorway looking around at the scene and really taking in what was going on. Yuki rushed by her to attack the enemy, but Felicia was stunned to see it was in fact who she'd hoped it wouldn't be.

She stumbled forward, almost tripping over the long, yet tattered gown. "Ixion? It can't be, you can't be the enemy." She mumbled uselessly as she tried to make sense of the scene. Ixion smirked as he watched Artemis from the corner of his eye. She was getting ready to run forward and fight, and if she did that, she'd be unable to save the Princess. He blurred from the spot he was at, completely avoiding all attacks from his opponents and appeared just inches from the Princess. "You can see your father in hell." He said as he stepped back and shot a blast of dark energy from his palm at her. Felicia screamed and everything seemed to slow to a stop. It took only seconds for it to happen, but it felt like a lifetime, as a woman ran into the room at just the right moment, taking the hit instead. "DREA!!" Felicia screamed and watched as the butterfly seemed to disintigrate before her eyes. "No... NOOOO!!"

The ground itself began to shake and Ixion's eyes went wide as he watched a chasm appear in the ground before him. Large black wings grew out of his back and he took to flight, leaving them on the ground. "Your emotions give you power, Princess, but never forget that without focus and a determination to win, you can never hope to control it." He said as he blasted a hole in the ceiling and took off. "Vras!" Artemis cursed again in the language of her people as she watched the building fall apart around them. "Move to the middle of the room or you'll be crushed!" She called to the others, moving to the Princess. "Princess, we must move, there is no time for mourning." She said it firmly, but softly and Felicia looked up, gasping as she recognized the face, but she said nothing. She nodded and followed her twin. Artemis hoped the others wouldn't comment on the identical face of the Princess and herself.

Saravi Boo 05-04-2010 01:54 AM

Kurama was indeed noticing the identical faces of the Artemis and the princess. It didn't take a genius to figure out that they must be twins. He was jerked from his thoughts as a huge chunk of the ceiling broke loose above him and he hastily tried to dodge it. 'Kuso, That's half the ceiling!' He thought grimly, knowing he wasn't remotely fast enough to get out of the way. "Hiei!" He yelled frantically, echoing the shout with a mental call.

Seeing the fox's predicament, Hiei practically disappeared as he moved to scoop the silver haired demon out of harm's way. He skidded to a stop in the center of the room where the others were gathering and eyed the disintegrating architecture with a scowl. "It's no good, the whole place is coming down!" He yelled. The entrance corridors were no doubt already blocked.

Yusuke made his way to the small group, "Get close to me! I can make a shield for us and we can dig our way out once it settles down!" the detective said firmly, Genkai's teachings hadn't been completely wasted on him. "Kuwabara! Katsumi! Get your butts over here now!" He yelled at the straggling human. He took up a position near Artemis and the princess and didn't even blink when Hiei appeared next to him with a somewhat disoriented looking Kurama in tow. He did file the image of the much smaller fire demon carrying the silver haired Youko bridal style away to laugh about later though.

((OOC: Gonna need to grab Kat for a split sec just to save her butt from being crushed.))

Kuwabara ran over to the female demon, ignoring the pain in his shoulders and his head as he grabbed her wrist and dragged her to the middle of the room. This was surely a shock, but he didn't notice anything about Artemis and the Princess, he was too worried about the whole building caving in on them. Artemis pushed Felicia into the middle of the group. She turned to look at Yusuke. "Give me your hand. I have a better idea, but I'll need you to work on that shield regardless." She said, practically demanding that he listen to her this time. Felicia was stunned as she was forced into the middle of the group. Artemis turned to the white haired girl who had light blue streaks in her hair. "Yuki, find a way to force the water out of the ground through that chasm. We can use that as a means to get out of here." She said sharply and watched the light haired girl nod and close her eyes in concentration.
