XX was about to move when he was hit by three smart bombs, he hit the floor and slowly got back up "its going to take more than that, you over grown beast" he said as he slowly ran at it, he was weak, but he was going to give up "you... will... PAAAAYYYYYY" he yelled as he threw his swords into its legs and climbed up the swords until he was near its hands, then Ninis words floated in his head 'the heads or hands' he jumped at its hands and began to slice it hand up, while clinging on

The second orb hit Eight on the back of the head, causing him to stumble foreward. The third rammed into his chest, and he fell to his back. Quickly regaining his composure, the Sniper cocked his gun, taking aim and firing at the Darkside's head, effectively dropping one of it's snake-like dreads to the pavement. It roared, and masses of darkness- pools, if anything- appeared to grow from the floor, letting loose several Shadows the Nobody dealed with swiftly as the Samurai above hammered down on the beast's massive hands.
Eight laughed wickedly, taking a swipe with his gun at the creatures foot. "Nearly there!" He called up to 20, taking another shot at the creature's head.

XX didn't care what was said or done, as long as he got reveng for Nini "you hurt her, YOU DIE YOU OVER GROWN BEAST" he yelled as he sliced and sliced, he just kept lshing at the creatures hand while shouting abuse at it

Eight had to admit he was fairly intrigued by the Samurai's attatchment to the uncoscious Dancer that lay in a twisted mess far to the right of the battle, but he was too concerned with the monster to think about it too much. He pushed the thought to the back of his mind as he fired another bullet into the Heartless's face, the tiny metal pellet bouncing off the creature's thick hide.
He turned to look up at 20, hammering away and screaming obscenities that even Master Xaldin couldn't compare to, slicing and shouting as he beat the Heartless's hand to a pulp. "Samurai!" He called, hoping that in the Nobodie's odd rage he could understand the Sniper. "Samurai!" He called again, posing for a leap that would take him to the Darkside's enourmous head.

XX was still slicing like a mad man, but when he heard Eight shouting "WHAT NOW?!!" he yelled as he saw the other hand finally coming to nock him off "oh great" he mumbled as he was still to weak to jump, he was nocked of and fell to ground with a crunch, he stumbled up and began climbing it again "IT'S...GOING...TO...TAKE...MORE...THAN... THAT!!!" he yelled as he made his way for the head "YOU WILL DIE BEFORE ME!!!"

Eight, instead of jumping, crouched lower and shouted a final "Duck!" At 20. Eight's body began to twist and turn until his entire body resembled an enlarged version of his crossbow. He cocked and shot, the heavy arrow striking the Heartless's upper arm. The thing stumbled, but regained it's balance.

Tai was floating in the air watching as the others fought. "wow XX ", he laughed throwing a cube the size of one of the the buildings at the heartless. As it exploded it caused the heartless to fall. Tai then flew in throwing a barrage oh exploding cubes at the heartless". Moving over to see if the thing was dead it reached it huge hand out slamming tai into the ground.

((Naw, it's okay. You missed some of the action, though. ^^; ))

A bound hand reached out of the shadows, groping around in the air and on the concrete for something of signifigance. Loose legs tightened and uncurled, a figure sitting against the wall of a building, watching a strained fight against a Heartless, a Sniper, a Samurai, and a Sorcerer trying desperatley to defend themselves against the rising black mass. A groggy voice called out to the scene, "What... happened?" As a Dancer raised her head.

Eight had to admit, the Sorcerer's power was great, but the Sniper couldn't help but laugh when the Darkside's hands reached up and grabbed the white-garbed Nobody. Nevertheless, Eight hovered over and smacked the Heartless's hand with his gun, the appendage loosening and dropping the Sorcerer it had held in it's grasp. He watched as the body shimmered and exploded into a confetti shower of money, magic orbs and health boosts. Eight quickly walked over and grabbed a bit of the munny, along with the health orbs and two magic to ensure sucsess of his teleportation and transformaton tecniques in the next battle.

XX fell to the floor, now that the battle was over he felt the pain from the hits he received "a... a little... help please" he rasped as he looked over to where Nini was laying "NINI... YOUR OK" he shouted as he looked at the other two "go job guys" he mumbled as he placed his head on the floor

Nini shook off the daze, the voice of 20 shaking her out of her semi-trance. She looked up, leaning foreward slightly from the exitement. She gasped audibly when she saw 20, lying on his side with his face pressed to the cold, unfeeling pavement. "20!" She called, quickly getting on her feet and running over to the injured Samurai. "20, are you alright?"

XX tried to get up but failed as he just laid motionless "as long as your fine... im fine" he said as he tried to move but flinched in pain as he did "i... feel... cold" he said as he looked at Nini "that thing packs more of a punch then i though" he said as he looked at where the beast just was

She slowly slid her semi-hand down the curve of his helmet, her semi-mouth distorted into something resembling a worried frown. She turned sharply to Tai, who was standing motionless at where the fight had begun. "Tai!" She called loud enough for him to hear her, listening to the sound of her voice bounce back to her. "Tai!" She called again. "I need a Hi-Potion!"

XX looked at her as she shouted "i don't need a potion... i just want to stand up" he said as he attempted again but failed again "i don't like... laying... down" he rasped as he stuggled to get up "this floor... is freezing" he said looking at Nini and put his hand to her face "your the best friend i have ever had... as long as your ok... so... am... i" he said as his dropped to the floor, for a second he was motionless, then he tried getting up again

Nini felt a funny prickly sensaton at 20's words, but decided she wouldn't respond, for fear of saying something she didn't mean. When 20 attempted to get up again, though, she pushed a hand to his chest and the distorted frown reappeared. "No, no no no no no. Stay down."

XX began to strugle, but in the end the pain was to much and he let out a yell of sheer pain, then he just layed then and glared at Nini as his breathing was unsteady "why... should... i... stay... down" he rasped as he tried to slow his greathing down "you... would... like... it"

She knelt down farther, and loosely held the sides of his head in her hands. "No, no I wouldn't," She started. "Look at you; standing will only hurt you more." She said in a whispered tone.

She turned towards the noise- a Hi-Potion, placed on the ground right beside her. "Get up and keep patroling." She looked up- Eight stood there, hovering oh-so-very slightly off the ground. "Hurry." He said.
Nini quickly uncorked the bottle, tossing it into the air and shattering the glass above 20, watching as the shards vanished and all that remained of the mixture was a cork.

XX had looked at her when she said standing would hurt more and started sulking, when the Hi-Potion began healing him he just layed the in silence, he was borded of laying down "ok im healed" he said hopping up, and felt a bit of pain stil in his chest, he gasped as he fell the pain

Tai finally woke up with a sharp odin chiming from his back. "Where am I" he thought as he tried to sit up. Looking around he began to remember the situation and yelled for the others. As he turned around he saw Nina and XX over and tried to move over towards them. "Um, do you have anymore hi-potion", he smiled passing out.

XX looked over at Tai "see Nini... i told you i didn't need the potion as much" he said as he rumaged his pockets for a Hi-Potion, but insted he found a normal potion "dam... this will have to do" he mumbled to him self and walked over to Tai holding his chest "TAI...TAI!!!" he just used the potion to Tai "WAKE UP!!!"

Tai was still a little out of it but was still able to take his hand and cover XX's mouth. "I'm hurting not hard of hearing" he yelled at XX pushing him out of his face. " Are you too okay" he asked sitting up hiding the fact that he was still injured from the battle.

XX smiled "are you kidding im fine" he said as he flinched with a pain in his side, he too was still in pain, but he didn't want to show it, after all, he didn't want to think that he was weak "im as fit as a... lion"

"Lion?" Nini queried. It wasn't too difficult to tell that they were both a little sore, not unlike Nini. "More like a bird with a broken wing." She laughed, stretching and wincing as she did so. "Ouch..." She muttered, standing up carefully.

Eight sighed. These three were ridiculous. How they were ever accepted into the Legion was beyond him. "Get up, and get moving. Master Xemnas wants us on patrol; the new Keyblade bearer is bound to show up sooner or later- most likely sooner." He said, shooting eyeless glares to the Samurai, the Dancer, and the Sorcerer in turn- wait- Sorcerer? Eight winced noticeably; the Sorcerers were above him in rank and would most certainly know what Master Xemnas had in mind better than he would. He stiffened, hoping desperatley- or best he could, with no heart- that with the Sorcerer's relaxed attitude, he would let it slide.
