((Time to start the roleplay))

Nini starred blankly at the Sniper Nobody until it registered with her that he was a higher-ranking officer. "Sir." She bowed stiffly, hips twitching as they always did, as the Nobody before her laughed quietly. "'Bout time, Nini."
"You know my name, sir?" Nini stood, arching her back backwards as was most comfortable for her. "Yeah, I do. You're Master Demyx's favorite, aren't you? 'Makes sense I would know you." He said nonchalantly.
"I think I'm his favorite, I guess." Nini said, turning to leave him and head back down the white hallway. "Hey, wait a 'sec. I've got a message for Master Demyx." The Sniper said, walking over and handing her a slip of paper. When she gave him a quizzical look, he laughed and said "Mission breifing."
"Alright then." Nini answered her superior, leaving him by himself and heading off in the general direction of Demyx's room.
She wasn't in a hurry.

If XVI had a mouth, he would have been grinning. Or rather, would have been hiding his grin. Earlier that day the Gambler Nobody had laid a prank in the form of one of his rare white Wild Cards laid on the ground before Melodious Nocturnes' door. The nature of a Gamblers' cards being what it is, the next lesser Nobody to step on the card would be transformed into, well, a card. And since it was white it blended in with Castle Oblivions' floor quite nicely. Of course, XVI was in a completely different part of the castle at the moment. For as much as he wanted to see the reaction of whoever stepped on the card, he also didn't want to be around when they were turned into a card. Pranks are fun to pull, but are another thing entirely when you're caught.

So right now, while Nini was on her way to give Master Demyx his mission briefing, XVI was enjoying a card game with VII and was unfortunately unaware of which Nobody was to be caught in his prank. Which is an admittedly hard thing to do when you have the characteristic twitches and jerks of all lesser Nobodies.

((OKAY SO. I kinda took some teeny creative liberties with the Gamblers' cards, because not only do I remember next to nothing about 'em, KHWiki has next to nothing about 'em. Also, VII = Seven. Because XII is twelve, not seven. :B i r smat))

((Yes u r. And Nini's delivering Demmies mission-briefing-slippy thingy that he needs because he has the memory of a goldfish and the attention span of a five-year-old. Nice for first guest-post, though. :D)

Nini walked silently down the hall, until reaching her Master's quarters. She was about to open the door imprinted with a "IX" on it, when a tingling sensation started all over her body. Her hands grew numb, and she dropped the paper. A cloud of smoke filled the air, and Nini felt herslef becoming flatter and flatter.
"What's happening?" She exclaimed as the smoke began to clear out.She looked down as best she could, and found that she was now a large, glistening white card marked with her barcode and her face.
"No, thanks, but I-" Nini turned to see Demyx, who had been on the phone with someone. "Nini, what happened?" He asked her, staring at her flat figure and silver-trimmed edges. "One of the gamblers, I guess.
"So, one of the Snipers told me to give you this peice of paper" She nodded towards the slip that had fallen to the floor, "And said it was for you, Master Demyx." She said. "I'll get it later." Demyx said. "Anyway, Luxord did that to me once. It wares off in twenty minutes or so." He said, gesturing towards her new, and apparently temporary, body. "Just wait it out."

((I took liberties with the cards, too. And I'll work with Eight a little later. Nini's easier to write and I like her more.))

XVI wondered if his prank had been sprung yet, but then turned his attention back to the card game at hand. "Do you have any fives, Sixteen?" VII asked cautiously, peering at his own hand of cards.

"Go fish, Seven."

Yup. They were playing go fish. Except... it had a bit of a twist.

VII hesitated before he reached for another card. "You know, I really don't think that there's such a game as strip Go-Fish."

"There is."

The Dragoon leaned over his cards and looked long and hard at XVI with his beady black eyes. "I've never heard of such a thing."

"Master Luxord plays strip Go-Fish aaaall the time." XVI persisted. "I've watched him play. You spend more time running errands for Master Xaldin. You wouldn't have heard of it." This was another one of those times where if Gamblers had mouths, XVI would be hiding a grin.

But this argument seemed to convince VII as he leaned back and went back to looking at his cards. "Well, if you say so, Sixteen. But how are we suppose to play it right? Lesser Nobodies like us don't even wear clothes."

XVI gave an awkward, twitchy shrug. "That's just a minor detail. Any sevens?"

VII jerked more than normal. "Yes!" he tossed over the four cards with a twitchy, beclawed hand. "How'd you know?"

"Eh, I just know." XVI replied as he casually "looked" away from a mirror leaning innocently against a pristine wall behind VII and retrieved his new cards, placing them down on the ground before him.

"Nothing much else to do, I guess." Eight said to no one in particular, leaning up against a nearby wall, watching the Dragoon and the Gambler play Go-Fish. He had expected them to play poker, but, as fate would have it, Sixteen was quite the marvel at the easer sport. Of course, there was a trick to it. Sixteen leaning over to the right so he could see behind Seven simply gave it away.
"He's cheating, you know." Eight said, approaching the Dragoon. "There's a mirror behind you."

((shall i make XX walk into the room your in?))

((Just go ahead, do whatever- Nini's still a card, and XVi, VII and Eight are chilling in whatever room they're in. Go ahead. :))

XX was walking around for a bit, when he saw a door and walked into a room, he saw XVi, VII and Eight in it, so he walked in "hello everyone" he said cheerfully as he walked to stand beside Eight, he looked at the mirror and then back to the card game "is that mirror supposed to be there" he asked looking puzzled

VII blinked, turning around and he was more than a little surprised to see the mirror. Frowning, the Dragoon looked forward once again with the intention of scolding XVI for cheating, only to find that all of his cards had slid from his unwieldy claws and were now strewn before him.

"Of course it's suppose to be there," XVI replied XX's question without skipping a beat. "Can you think of a better place for a mirror to be?"

XX looked at him with a unbeliving look "of course it is, then why is VII frowning at you?" he asked smiling a bit at XVI "its oversly cheating, whats the matter? can't win with-out cheating?"

If XVI had been capable of facial expressions, he would have tried his best to look indignant. However, since Gamblers lack faces he had to do his best to sound indignant. Which doesn't work well at all when you know that you've been caught and no longer have any intention of hiding the fact that, yeah, you were cheating.

"Oh, I can win without cheating," XVI replied with a slight tone of indignation. "I just like to make sure my cheating skills are up to scratch- which, seeing as the three of you caught me, is looks like they aren't." XVI set his cards down on the pristine floor.

((Sorry for the crap post, guys. -_-" My brain is lacking today.))

Eight rolled his eyes- or, would have, if he had any- as he leaned against a the wall, trying to make it look like he wasn't checking his reflection in the mirror that the conversation had been started on.

XX looked at the mirror, then he walked up to it and put it face down on the floor "now play the game, or do something that dosen't invole the fact you can cheat" he said walking up to the wall near Eight "who do you think can win" he said to Eight as he leaned against the wall

"VII wins be default," XVI said with an awkward, twitchy gesture at his cards where they lay on the floor, "I quit."

"What, just because you got caught cheating?" VII said in objection.

"No, because you suck at Go Fish and I'm bored."

((Serentiy, dear- I'd love to have you join, but you have to give me the chracters's stats, and follow the rules, and try to keep the posts legible. So, just work on the last one a bit and be careful of accidental godmodding, and PM me the sheet, and you can join the Legion.))

Eight stared at XVI with such a look upon his inexisting face that said "Really? That's just sad," And a laugh echoed out of his brass mouthpeice. "Uh-huh," Eight said, rolling his (once again, nonexistant)eyes and heading to leave the room, going to see if Nini had made it to Demyx's room in one peice.

XX laughed at XVI "i will join in with this game Go Fish, but first i must know how to play" he said walking over to them and looked at them both "or are you too afraid to lose to me?" he asked with a cocky tone

Eight froze on his way down the hall, hearing 20's voice say, most likely to XVI, "I will join in with this game... Go-Fish... But first I mist know how to play." He immediatley burst out laughing, turned on his heel, and walked back to the door. He poked his head in and said to 20 in an incredulous tone "You don't know how to play Go-Fish? Come on, really?"

XX would of blushed if he could, he just looked at Eight "no i don't know how to play" he said looking at the other two

Eight left a few more chuckles escape his "lips" before he sat down at the card table. "Alright, 20's I'll teach you how to play." He started."I'm bored to tears, anyway." He grabed the deck of cards from the center of the table, and shuffled them quickly, dealing out 7 to himself and then to 20.
"Alright, now sit down, 20, and I'll teach you how to play."

XX was feeling embarised "ok, is it a popular game?" he asked as he sat down, feeling as if he knew nothing "i have never played a card game, so i know nothink about them" he said hoping not to sound even more stupid

Eight laughed even more. "Not once? Alright, lets start from the begining, then." He sighed and said to 20, "Pick up your cards, and we'll do a practice round.
"Do you have any fours?" He asked the Samurai, who stiffly sat down next to Eight. "Now, you can't cheat- tell the truth."

XX looked at his cards which where 2,6,9,king,5,queen,5,7 "no" he said looking up at eight "and im not cheating" he said looking at his cards "lets me geuse, having no fours is bad, right?" he asked looking at eight

"No, not really," Eight started, staring at his own cards- 6, 10, Jack, Ace, Queen, 2, and 6- and shuffling them into chronological order. "Now, if you have any two or more of the same number, lay them down on the table for me to see, and then ask me if I have any one number that you have. Got it so far?"
