gemini giggled at the earthbender's explosion.she knew he hadn't really meant to,but decided to spare his pride."i think it's a good idea.after all,the cycle says that the next one should be a waterbender.i'm just so sure we're really close to him...i know we'll find him."

Jing kept his eyes on the ground as the others made their plans about their next step, but he could still make out what they were deciding on. He crouched down low and began to poke holes in the dirt. This was his way of examining the texture of soil. “I think this search is going to end badly,” the earth bender said blankly. “We have a performer with unknown contacts, a regular guy from somewhere, a girl who seems to running from the fire lord, and me, a homeless guy from Ba Sing Se. We are a pretty ragtag group, don’t you think?” Mizu looked down at Jing, worried that they may have picked the wrong guy to be his teacher. The earth bender looked up and smirked, “I think I like these odds. The most unlikely group is always the best kind.” Mizu couldn’t help, but smile at the remark that his companion made. “We can probably start at the water tribe. Never know who may be found,” he said. Looking around, he noticed he wasn’t familiar with the area that they were in. “Anyone have a clue about where we are,” the water bender asked.

"We're within the Fire Nation. The capital is that way.” Musa said as she pointed it out. “Now we can go back that way and try and slip through, but there are other routes. Mostly it depends on what you want to do. However the best thing would be to head Southeast or North East depending on which water tribe we want to go to. North or South.”

gemini smiled."the last avatar team consisted of two water tribe kids,a twelve-year-old,a runaway earthbender girl,and later on a rogue fire prince.let me tell you why i'm running from the fire lord.she's my cousin.i'm descended from fire lord zuko and avatar aang.it's a long story of mixed families,but that's how it is.basically,i'm the rightfull heir to the throne,and now everyone here knows i'm alive.tzalia wants to fix that.now,i say we stick to the storyline of the last avatar and start with the southern water tribe.i know a secret way out from the southeast end anyway,since that's where i left from last time.there's a sailor there who helped me out.who agrees?"

Jing became attentive when they began talking about going to the water tribes. “I think we should go to the Southern Tribe. I hear they have some good food out there,” he said in a swaying manner. Mizu looked to the others to see how they felt about going to the Southern Tribe. He knew that things would turn bad if the others realized that the avatar wasn’t at the place they were searching, but with them all along. “What do you two think? Should we head to the south,” he asked quietly. The water bender nodded, “Okay, so I guess the next step is the Southern Tribe.”

gemini smiled."to the south it is.ok,this time i'll lead.i know exactly where to go." she said,hoisting her backpack just a little higher on her shoulder.

"Southern water tribe is just fine by me. Though we might want to make sure we all have the proper attire for the climate." Musa said as she stepped out of the boundaries of the little destroyed hut.

"I'd rather not freeze to death. Never did learn to like the cold that much. Always made performances annoying."

gemini shrugged."i never minded the cold very much.my parents took me on a trip to the northern tribe once,and i just didn't get cold.so i guess that's one less person to worry about." she said,looking up at the sky."i wish we had a flying byson or something to travel on.that would be awesome." she said,grinning a little.

"Yeah, that would be pretty good. Oh the see the world from a bird's eye view. That would be amazing." Musa stared up through the branches, up to the blue sky as she smiled.

"But, that's not really going to happen so we had better start hoofing it. It's going to take a little while to get supplies and get there."

gemini nodded."ok,let's go." she said,turning and leading the way towards the port in the southeast."halfway along there's a small shop with a trustworthy owner where we can get everything we need." she said.

Mizu thought that Musa brought up a good point. He didn’t know where they would have to go to get the materials necessary for their long trek to the Southern Tribe. His expression showed this and he looked to the others, hoping that someone would know something. The water bender rubbed the back of his head and asked, “The climate should be nice this time of year, right? Jing laughed at the remark that Gemini made about the flying bison and it was then that he realized why the area and its soil was familiar to him. “Wait,” he shouted. “There was spot around here where we could find a flying bison.” There was supposed to be a herd of them now. “We could always try and find one,” he said thoughtfully.

gemini's eyes went wide."really? where? i never heard of that..." she said,completely thrown for a loop.

Jing nodded his head at Gemini. “If I’m right, the herd should be at the top of the mountain. Air bison, a good view of the land from the sky and it could be fun,” he said in a sing-song tone. A breeze rushed through the area and the earth bender looked at the sky, mystified. Mizu stared at the expression on Jing’s face, but dismissed it as something that seemed normal. “Okay well again, the sun’s going to be rising even higher and we want to get away before more soldiers from the Fire Nation come out of nowhere,” the water bender said urgently.

Musa shrugged a bit. "We're, too far into the woods to have to worry, too much about soldier's coming out. However we should get going. As for the climate, they live in the poles. It's snow covered all year round and I'm really not good at keeping myself warm. Though I guess it will be better than usual since it's not their winter."

gemini took only a moment to think."ok,so i say we first get our supplies and then head towards the place where the bison are.if the sun gets too high we'll find a place to hide untill the sun goes down." she said,hoping the others went for it.

Jing nodded in agreement to the fact that they may not run across any Fire Nation agents. “We can never be too careful. Anything can happen at any moment.” An uncontrollable grin was forged onto the young earth bender’s face at the comment that Musa made, “If you ever need help warming up, I‘m your guy,” he said charmingly. Mizu received an awkward shiver down his spine at the flirtatious statement and chuckled nervously. The avatar announced, “Okay, anyway I say we follow Gemini to the supply shop. We don’t want to worry not having enough items to make our trip.” Adjusting his backpack, Mizu walked next to Gemini and motioned for her to lead the way.

gemini smiled shyly at mizu and started walking,leading the way towards the supply shop.the whole time,she kept her face turned from him,trying to hide her blushing.

Mizu caught sight of Gemini’s smile and returned it kindly with one of his own. As they ventured through the forest, he noticed that she kept her face pointed away from him. He didn’t know if he’d upset her in anyway, but he couldn’t see why she would be angry with him. Eventually, hunger began to set in. It was then that the water bender realized that he hadn’t eaten anything that morning. He nudged Gemini gently and whispered, “You don’t happen to have any food in your pack? Jing and I have actually skipped breakfast this morning.” He said this with a sheepish chuckle before rubbing the back of his head.

gemini looked up and giggled."yeah,i've got a bit of food." she said,pulling some bread,cheese,dried meat and water from her pack."this is the last of the meat,but i can hunt for more later.we're almost there." she said,pointing to a small log cabin in the distance ahead.it was well hidden to anyone who wasn't looking for it,and there was a red flag tied to a branch on the sakura tree next to it,depicting the symbols of all four nations."the flag is a sign.any regular person passing by would just see a flag,but for those of us who know of the war,and who are against the current fire lord,it's the symbol of the avatar.all four elements together in harmony.the places with this flag tied outside are safehouses,where the underground avatar supporters can rest and get supplies and such."
