((Hi! Not sure where everyone went. I'm sure they will be back though.))

(( I'm sorry for not posting- I was waiting until the word that Mizu was the Avatar got out. :gonk: If you guys want me to post just to prove I'm still here, I can. ^^;; ))

((that would be nice.i'll try to make it known that the rightfull hier to the throne(me) is out there looking for the avatar.then we'll have a real azula/zuko thing going.^-^))

Tzaila, being the impatient woman she was, was tired of waiting. It'd been around a day and still no sign of the Avatar- her army was failing her! "Servant!" She snapped, her head whipping around to the young girl- about nineteen- running a comb through her hair. "Fetch me Admiral Kaizen." She commanded, rather enjoying the frantic look on the girl'sf ace as she bolted across the room, dissapearing through the double-doors in search of the man.
This time, the Admiral walked fast- best not to make the Fire Lord wait. "You summoned me," He sunk down to one knee, head bowed.
"Yes, I did. Now, tell me, Admiral-" She started, leaning back on the throne and crossing her legs. "Do you have a family?"
The Admiral nodded. "Y-Yes. A wife and two children."
"Do you think they would miss you if I, say, had you shipped out to the front line when the war began?" Tzaila rather enjoyed the look of terror on his face at her words.
"Yes, FireLord Tzaila."
"Oh, what a shame that'd be- I wouldn't have to do that, you know, if you had found me the Avatar!" A great wall of fire shot up from in front of the throne, filling the air with smoke. It quikly settled when Tzaila regained her composure, but left her servants clinging desperatley to her chair. "Clearly, I have entrusted you with a job far beyond your skill- so, clearly, I know have to do it myself." She paused, for effect. "Do you know what the price is for making a royal family member dirty her hands?"
The Admiral stayed still.
"I said, do you, Admiral?" She demanded.
Admiral Kaizen shook his head.
"At least your family won't have to worry about you, now." She waved a hand, and a fewguards from her sides decended upon the man, dragging him kicking and screaming down the hall.

as they were talking,a man hiding in a nearby tree nearly shouted for joy.he had found her!"fire lord tzalia will be very pleased to know this..." he said,quickly writing a note and attatching it to the leg of a messenger hawk."bring this swiftly to the fire lord.her cousin is alive!" the hawk made no sound as it took off.hours later,another messenger came running-or as close to it as was allowed-into the throne room with the message in hand."fire lord tzalia! a message,you must hear this!"

Tzaila'd been lazily lounging on her chair with her bowl of cherry pits by her side and a servant nervously popping the red fruits in her mouth when the messenger burst in, waving around a slip of paper around and shouting about how she had to hear it. She sat up straight, waved off the servant, and grabbed a cherry pit from the bowl. "What?" She demanded of the servant, giving him a half-hearted glare.

the man bowed and dropped to one knee."your highness,i have just recieved a message from one of our searchers.apparently,your cousin,the girl who is the rightful hier,she is alive,and seeking out the avatar! if the public finds out about this,your rule could be threatened.what would you have me do?"

(( ...Lol, I'm almost half your age. XD And, yeah, it was the 'wicked'. I'm from Massachusetts, so. :3 ))

"What?" The throne room lit up, flames licking the edge of the walls and feeding off of Tzaila's rage. "Kill her!" She commanded, punding her fist on the arm of the throne. She took a moment to regain her composure, letting the flmes settle before she spoke again. "On second thought, bring her to me. I want to deal with her myself."

the man,now needing badly to change his pants,nodded and ran away.he sent the messenger hawk back with a message to capture the girl.a few hours later,the man who sent it in the first place,who was still spying on gemini and her companions,recieved it and smiled."message recieved." he said,and continued to jump down,grab gemini,and jump away again before any of them could blink.the last thing any of them saw was gemini's surprised face turning furious.

"Gemini?" Musa cried out both in shock and disbelief as she watched helplessly as the man took off. Surprise delayed her reaction for a second, but that seemed to be more than enough.

"Come on!" She stated, pulling on Mizu's arm before taking off after in a desperate bid to track the pair down.

as she was carried away,gemini managed to use her finger to burn a message in the ground,hoping her friends would see it.it was messy,but readable:she found out about me,i'm a threat now.they're taking me to the fire nation she wanted to put more but they were moving too fast,so instead she dropped her shoe to let them know it was her.

Musa darted after her, trying to keep them in sight. The lay of the land however hindered her efforts and in no time at all the pair had disappeared. Quickly smell of chard grass and ground met her nose, followed by the sight of the message burned into the ground. She slowed, coming to a stop to read the improvised sos. Musa cocked her head to the side and slowly worked on deciphering the jilted script.

"Who is She?" She mused sotto voce, eyebrows furrowed in thought. "At least we have a direction now. Though this adds an unforeseen twist? Will the Mysterious wandering student follow the enigmatic beauty into the heart of darkness? Or step forward with caution, first seeking power and allies with which to siege the nation consumed with the fiery desires of war?" Musa then shrugged and picked up the pace again, only to literally stumble across Gemini's shoe. She held it up, looking at it.

"Now if only I was a bloodhound."

it wasnt long before gemini was dumped unceremoniously in front of her cousin,and left there to fend for herself.she had left several clues as to her direction,including her other shoe,an arrow burned into the ground and her katana-hoping that would tip them off as to how desperate her situation was.she never left her blade behind.she stood up and brushed herself off,trying to look dignified.she looked up at the flame-surrounded throne that her cousin sat in,and glared at her."alright,so here i am.what now,cousin?"

"What now?" Tzaila laughed her ear-peircing trademark laugh, crossing her legs and flashinga wicked smile at Gemini. "Now, I either kill you right here or send you to the dungeons to rot for the rest of your life, which, considering the conditions down there, won't be very long." She explained, waving her wand to call forth a servant. The young girl was holding a large tray of what looked like turture weapons, each used for a different purpose- but all equally painful. Tzaila took the tray, standing up from her seat and decending the quarter-flight of stairs to sit cross-legged in front of her cousin. "But I don't feel like doing either of those things right now, so-
"Pick."

gemini glared at her cousin."well,it's so hard,both of those options seem so inviting.but,unfortunately,i'll have to decline your gracious offers.you see,i have other things to do-and none of them include dying." she said in the most infuriatingly polite tone she could muster,all the while gathering her energy.then she smiled her sweetest smile and released her built up energy in a gust of scorching hot wind,while at the same time jumping up into the air and letting out another burst of energy that took the form of large,impressive firey wings,keeping her in the air.she sent bolts of fire raining down at her cousin,and flew out the door,making sure the whole castle heard her shouting "LONG LIVE THE TRUE FIRE LORD!!!"

Tzaila screamed as the air around Gemini exploded in heat, the fire lord's hand flying up to protect her face as the air scorched her robes- and her arm. The flesh bubbled and smoked all the way up to her elbow, leaving her clutching her arm and crying out in pain. The bolts of fire that rained down missed her for the most part, but one managed to catch the end of her already torn robes, lighting it on fire. Her head whipping down to the burning robe, she growled and ripped it off, leaving her in nothing by a tight, low-cut brazzier, corset and and tight, short underskirt.
With third degree burns still sizzling up her left arm, she cast frantic glares about the room at her royal guards. "Well, what are you waiting for?" She demanded, enraged. "Find her and kill her!" She darted out of the room herself, following the chant "Long live the true firelord!" Down the hallway until she caught sight of two great, firey wings sprouting out the back of a young woman who was flying down the hallway and dodging everything the palace guards threw at her. "Gemini!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, dashing foreward and leaping into the air, a stream of blue fire following her at her heals as she flew into the air to meet her cousin in battle. "Prepare to die!" She punched, a stream of burning hot blue and white fire flying foreward to just barely miss her oponent at the shoulder, only burning off a small portion of her hair.

gemini grinned,sensing that she was almost free,when she heard the shout of her own name behind her.before she coud react,there was a searing heat near her shoulder,a voice telling her to prepare to die,and the smell of burning hair.enraged,gemini turned around,wings still in motion,and shot a blade of wind at her cousin,just missing her neck but cuting off the same portion of hait that gemini had lost."you'll pay for that,poser bitch!" she shouted,flapping her wings and sending more scorching wind down,much to the misfortune of a few gaurds,who fell with burns of the third degree all over thier bodies.gemini didn't know how to use lightening yet,but after this she was sure as heck going to learn.

Tzaila dodged the wind- thankfully; she didn't think her arm could take much more- flying high above Gemini's head, her top of her head bobbing up against the ceiling. She closed her eyes for a moment, chaneling energy and lining her fingers up.
"Die!"
In a split second, all the energy Tzaila had stored in preparation for this very moment flowed from her left arm, down through her stomach and out through her right arm in the form of a great bolt of white-hot lightning that lit the air and surrounded them with a wall of fire, the tongues of flame licking at the already dead guards and the charred walls and the cousin's toes. It shot foreward, straight toward Gemini, spidering out right in fron tof her face and wrapping around her, a cage of lightning that flickered and glowed in living death.

gemini's eyes went wide in alarm.this was bad-really bad.the lightening started burning her,and she made a snap decision.i hope that move father taught me from the story was real she thought.then,in an exact copy of her own great great great grandfather so many years before,she took the lightening into her body through her left arm,channeled it through her chest and out her right arm straight at tzalia."you first!" she shouted,her body glowing with the electricity,flames erupting around her in pure wild energy.

Tzaila had no time to react- the shock of her cousin's power froze her, letting the lighting pour into her body. Words could not express the pain she felt, all over, and it hurt so badly she could not even manage a scream. Her eyes rolled inot the back of her head, her mouth open in a selent cry as the energy from the lightning strike poured out through her mouth, her fingertips, and the new gaping hole in her right shoulder. It wasn't until the electricity faded out that she was able to scream, falling fast to the ground right as the soldiers from her royal chamber ran to her assistance, the pain of even their lightest touch like fire under her skin.

power spent,gemini's flaming wings disappeared and she fell to the ground,landing on her feet."and that's why i'm the rightfull hier." she said proudly,then ran away as fast as she could.once she finally made it out of the castle,she found her way to a cave where she couldn't be found,and started sending out smoke signals,hoping the others would see them.along with a few signals that told the fire nation that their rightfull ruler was alive.

When you re-direct lightning, the engergy flows from your fingertips on one arm, down through your stomach, then up and out through your other arm. I know that's like the tiniest, most useless bit of knowledge, ever, but. Please don't be offended! ))
