((I'll try and put something up, just not sure what. Especially since I'm not sure who all is doing what. I'll just throw something up and I guess we can go from there. No guarantee on the quality though :) ))

Musa traveled after the trail, keep a hard pace that was started to wear on her. The trail left by Gemini was helpful, but faded out sometime to the point she worried that she might lose it. After awhile though, her fears were confirmed. There was no other place the pair could be headed to other than back to the Fire kingdom.

Musa cursed to herself under her breath as she crossed the border and soon was within the capitol, trying to keep hidden among the masses that had gathered for war, dark and boding as an unstoppable on coming storm. She slinked through the streets, trying to avoid notice. Keeping to the back streets she wondered where Gemini would have been taken to, even though in her heart she already knew. If you got grabbed like that in a story, you only got taken to one place. Her eyes drifted over to the center of the Fire Nation and the imposing building that contained the Royal throne.

A hard lump formed in the pit of her stomach as she took stock of her abilities. They were abysmally limited. She was a trained performer, a writer. Not a spy able to slink into the halls of the Powerful without a second glance and Musa definitely knew her bending abilities were painfully limited. She may be able to bend two elements, but had never had the strength to be offensive or even very defensive with it. If there were others, she would have acted as a distraction, but she didn’t know if the other had followed her or not. Musa was not the intrepid hero of this story. Not even the beautiful and dashing romantic interest. So why was she the one thrust into this role?

So she disappeared into the shadows to do what she did best, gather information, figure out the mood of the people and see if there were any clues for her to latch onto for the possible location of her kidnapped companion.

((okay,basically gemini escaped and made sure everyone knew that she was alive,and now she's hiding out in a cave,sending smoke signals to you guys.))

Musa moved through the crowded streets, not surprised that while there were people out, the streets were eerily quiet underneath an oppressive air. The only people really making much noise at all where the soldier and those whose minds and desires were of a more militaristic bent. She carefully made her way around, speaking with her contacts one by one. They were surprised to see her back, but the first two couldn't help her. The third however reported whisperings of smoke signals coming from just outside of town. People weren't sure how to take them, especially considering what they so boldly claimed.

So she headed that way quickly, hoping that she made it there before some of the local guards made it out to investigate, or some of the military. Musa looked about the area, scanning the foliage and rock coverage as she made her way through the area trying to locate the cave opening. It took a bit of very careful searching before finally coming across it.

"You know, eventually there might have been a smart guard to appear and they might have been able to find you like I did." Musa said as she stood just within the entrance.

gemini jumped,hearing musa's voice outside the cave."musa! oh,am i ever glad to see you!" she said,running and hugging musa."is mizu...are the others here?" she asked,suddenly worried.

"I don't know, sorry. I thought they were following behind me, but I guess either we got seperated or they hung back. Possibly to get help?" Musa states apologetically as she returns the hug. "Are you alright though? I know a healer if you need to see one. She knows how to keep quiet as long as its for a good cause. Or you pay her enough."

gemini hugged her back."no,i think i'm ok...she just managed to singe my hair a bit,really.i think i hurt her alot worse.but i made my point." she said,grinning devilishly.

gemini sorted."he was a spy,looking for me on the fire lord's orders.they've been looking for me since my parents died...i'm the true hier to the throne,so naturally tzalia would want me dead." she explained,putting out her fire.

Musa blinks, then begins to walk around her, examining her carefully before crossing her arms over her chest.

"Hmm, so now we have the crusading man of mystery, out to learn of his powers and abilities all while hiding a secret and within his group of companions is the rightful heir to the throne of the Fire Nation, hiding away from those who would do her harm until the proper moment. See, perfect love interest material! This is how the stories go! With the main man falling for the woman who is hiding her true identity, which is almost always some sort of disposed royalty looking to regain what is theirs from the tyrannical overlord who usurped it.”

gemini sweatdropped and giggled."ok,ok,so i like mizu-san.but i don't know if i should tell him about this..." she said uncertainly."what do you think,storyteller?"

gemini sighed."well,i don't see the point in waiting.if i stay here,we're both in danger.it makes more sense to go and find him.we need to find the avatar,and mizu-san is the only one who can do that...i just have a feeling he knows something." she said,brushing herself off and strapping her sword to her waist.((i'm going to message TearRose...))

"Well, getting you out may be trickier now that your smoke signals area the talk of the town. As for the Avatar we can't rely on that story. If we want to stop things, we may have to rely on ourselves." Musa says bluntly.

gemini nodded."i know that.but i just...i just know he's out there.but you're right.untill we find him,we'll just have to do things ourselves.i say we go,and try to find mizu-san.if we can't find him,then we go on and do what we can about this situation."

"Sounds like a plan to me. Shall we head back towards the Earth Kingdom since that is where we last saw him?"

gemini nodded."sounds good.let's get going." she said,going to the mouth of the cave to check if it was safe."coast is clear.we'd better go now before anyone notices us."

Musa nods and slinks out from the mouth of the cave, carefully making her way through the foliage. She moves almost silently as they creep out.

gemini crept out arfter musa,keeping close to the ground.it would be really bad if anyone saw them now.if gemini were alone,she would have stood tall,but she didn't want to put musa in danger.

Musa moved with confidence, heading for a back route and denser woods. Every once in awhile she would pause and check a few things before moving on again. Eventually she spoke up in a low voice.

"I think we're pretty much in the clear. Though we should still keep our voices low. There are a few people in this area. Not many and generally they aren't sympathetic to the guards.

gemini nodded."right.i'm right behind you." she whispered,to tense to say anything else.she had been raise on the oposite side of the island,so this place was completely unfamiliar to her.

Musa continued through the foliage for what seemed to be hours. The sun was quickly dipped below the sky line before she finally came to a stop. A small house could be spotted through the bamboo, smoke curling from the chimney.

"Okay. This is a safe place to stop for the night. We're near the border and can slip through in the morning, but for now we should rest." She said before heading up the path to the house. Quietly she knocked on the door. Several raps, stop, several raps more. She waited patiently for a little bit before the door cracked open to show a young man.

"So, what did you do this time Musa?" He asks, leaning against the door frame.

following musa,gemini watched her knock and couldn't help flinching a little when a man answered.she resisted the urge to hide behind her friend.now that i've made myself known,i can't hide.

"This time? Why is it that you always assume such improprieties of me? Maybe I'm just visiting." She remarks back to the young man, looking innocent.

"And when exactly have you ever come and visited us when you weren't in trouble? At least you're not covered in blood like the last time." He says, sighing and opening the door up and gesturing them in.

"Come on, you're here you might as well come on in. Who's your friend by the way?" He asks, turning to look at Gemini, a curious expression on his face.

gemini gulped and put her head down nervously."i-i'm gemini,sir." was all she could manage to croak out.then something struck her."musa...you've been covered in blood?!" she exclaimed without thinking.
