Nightwing sighed. "I'll just have to leave it here for now. I'll have to pick it up later. At least this takes care of part of our problem." He paused but he had something he wanted to say without anyone else around and even with Data here this might be the only chance. "I'm sorry Raven. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you with Elizabeth. And I'm sorry I hurt you so much that you thought you couldn't tell me about her. I never wanted to hurt you."

Raven nodded to the part about the bike. Yes it would be best that they left it there for now. Raven felt her heart clenched when he started to say sorry. She didn't want to think about it. " Please don't" She said softly. She didn't want to hear it, she couldn't handle it, not now. Raven set the stuff down, and glanced over at his wound. " We need to stop the bleeding" She said. She ripped part of her cape off, and started to tie off his wound. Normally she would have healed him, but not with a bullet in him, could she heal him. |
Nightwing watched her rip her cape. "You did need to do that. I would have lasted until Bats gets here and he keeps a med kit in his vehicles. But thank you." He let her wrap his shoulder. It hurt but there were few times in his life that something didn't hurt.
Batman pulled up at the house where the com link was located. He thought the boy had gotten over being stupid. It had been so long since he had to go help him. He looked around but saw no one. He got out of the car. He was not in his outfit but was instead Bruce. He went into the house and found the scene. "Dick what is wrong with you? Can't keep your head on straight for one mission around Raven? Go get in the car. Be quick about it. You guys look horrible. We'll talk when we get to the house." He walked back out to his car without waiting for a response. Nightwing followed quietly behind. ((I think I need to get off for the night. Not feeling well)) |

Raven just nodded. Yet moments later Bruce, well Batman walked in. Raven stared in surprise. She had never seen Batman outside of being the bat. So it was different to see him in his normal from. She raised an eyebrow slightly at his comment. She was wondering what he meant by, Dick couldn't act right around her for one mission. Before Raven followed after them, she shut and locked Data in the room they had once been in, just to make sure, when they called the cops, that she didn't escape again. Then she gathered their stuff and followed after them. |
Bruce pulled into his garage and led the group into the house. He thought about taking them to the cave but decided he would rather be comfortable. He led them to his favorite den and motioned for Raven to sit. He grabbed Nightwing before he could sit. "Don't even think about it. Your not getting blood on my seat." He pulled him over to a table and sat him on it. He left the room for a second then came back with a med kit. Bruce unwrapped the wound, dug out the bullet and rewrapped it with clean bandages. "Now tell me everything."
Nightwing gritted his teeth through the ordeal and when Bruce told them to talk he waved for Raven to begin. He needed a moment. |

Raven just sat in the car, rather quiet. She followed after Bruce, when he led them inside. She had expect to be kept in the Bat cave or something like that. She wasn't expected to be led inside, and told to sit. She stay quiet during the whole removing the bullet ordeal. She knew she should speak up, and offer to heal it now that the bullet was out, but Bruce has already wrapped it up. For a second Raven looked almost alarmed when Raven motioned for her to start telling Bruce. She looked back to Bruce unsure wear to begin. How does one start telling Batman something. She took a deep breath," Nightwing and I have a daugther" She said. |

Bruce raised an eye brow. He had figured that all the secrets was about something like this. He had known about Raven's disappearence those five years ago and only manners had stopped him from digging into the matter. No the kicker was that the father was Nightwing. Robin had always tried to act older then he was and while Bruce knew that Dick usually went with whatever he thought or felt he found it suprising that he would have followed those emotions. No Bruce had always thought it would come out some day that Raven had a normal boyfriend or more likely that there was a little green child with purple hair running around. He sighed thinking at least he didn't have to worry about that anymore. He turned to Dick. "You know I'm not upset about the child but I know I taught you sex ed. Did you thinking bringing a child up would be fun?" He held up his hand when Dick started to respond. "No, I know it just happened. Yada yada." He turned back to Raven. "So, since you are telling me now I am to guess she was the one who used her powers in the mountains. And she was the child that was kidnapped. Since your here and not trying to run out of here she must be alright. Is she with the other Titans? And why am I just hearing about my other option for a heir? I might have to change my choice since this one is loosing his touch." He pointed over at Nightwing. Nightwing pulled off his mask. "Haha, funny old man. Let's see how well you do when you find out you have a daughter." Dick turned to look at Raven and smiled. "Don't let him worry you. He might look like he's going to bite but he's too old for that. Go ahead and tell him." |
[[ That's good to here]] Raven shifted slightly, she'd really rather not doing this. Though of course, when a someone had all the answers and never shared it. Moments like these were bound to happen. Though she didn't expect the whirl of questions. She glanced over at Dick, it had been long since she had seen his face. The smiled he flashed her, made her heart jump slightly. She looked away from him. " Yes, she was the child. She is safe, and currently with Starfire and the others. " She said. " It's not that your the last to know, actually no one but me knew she existed. I had decided after some events to now tell anyone. So when I left the titans for a bit, I gave birth to her, placed a few spells that would keep her from gaining her powers, and then gave her to a couple to raise her. Yet Data, seemed to find out about her. She's very smart, and it seemed Data wanted to use her, and so she killed her parents. This caused her to break through the spells placed on her, and that's what happened at the mountain. " Raven said. Raven mused for a few moments wondering if that was all he needed to know. " Also her name is Elizabeth Roth Grayson" She told him. |
"Data will be taken care of. The police have been notified. You bound her powers. So she new powers she has no training in. That could be a problem. What are your plans for her now? Will you find her another home?" Bruce had many questions he need to ask but he decided it would be best to start with that.
Nightwing waited for the answer. He needed to know her plans too. He did not want his daughter raised by strangers but if that was Raven's wishes he would respect them. |
" I-" Raven had started. She really hadn't had time to think on that. With everything that had happened she had given her self a moment to think about it. " I don't want to send her away again. I want to raise her, and of course train her" Raven said. She knew she wouldn't be able to send her child away again. The first time she had it nearly tore her soul in half and when she came back to the tower, she had really needed her friends after that. Yet when she arrived no one was around, and it seemed they weren't all that overly joyed that she was back. So she withdrew into herself, and then everything else around her fell apart. She couldn't go threw that again. |
Nightwing watched Raven and could see the hurt she had been through. He could remember everything that had happened five years ago. After Raven had left the team had talked. They were all growing up and this town no longer need all of them. They could protect more people if they founded their own teams. Really that is what they had thought Raven had done. Nightwing had always thought she had gone off because he had broken up with her. That she had gone to find a new team to be with. So they had all started planning and looking. When Raven had finally come back they had all started their own teams. Dick knew he should have done more though.
"I don't want to send our child away either. I want to be apart of her life too." Bruce looked between them. Really sometimes the young were so stupid. "Well then. As long as you train her the League should have no problem. They will want to be updated of course. And I'm sure a few members will want to meet her. Namely Superman. Though I wouldn't worry about that. He'll hide behind it being his duty but really he just loves kids. Now more importantly. When do I get to meet my grandchild?" |
Raven still seemed lost in the past for a second. She was recalling the day she walked back in, she flew through out the tower, looking for one of her friends. Yet everywhere she went the tower was nearly empty. It seemed they other's had left, and she hadn't understood it. Her room was still all intact, and she finally spotted Cyborg, who had just carried the last of his stuff out. When he spotted her he mentioned some about her finally coming back for her stuff and then left. It was then she realized that they were all leaving her behind, or had. She soon found out about Dick and Kory, and how everyone had a new team. She had discovered there was no place left for her. It was then she never moved from the tower, well she was betrayed and even hurt and on the verge of breaking down. She couldn't leave the one place that had been the only home she ever knew. Raven looked up when Bruce spoke. " Well I don't see a problem with that then. We do need to let the league know about her though. Though we wanted to tell you first. Well..um" Raven said. Nightwing spoke when Raven paused. "I think we should get it over with. Bring Elizabeth here to meet her grandfather. Then we can go talk to the League. Or maybe a few can come here." Batman waited to hear what Raven said. |

" Well alright then That's fine with me." Raven said. She wanted to rest and meditate, and it seemed there wasn't going to be a chance for that in awhile. |
"I'll call the others then and tell them to bring Elizabeth," Nightwing started before Bruce cut him off.
"No you stay here. I will go call them. You guys can rest in here. I'll be back later." Bruce headed off for another part of the house to make the calls and give the kids some time alone. They had a lot to talk about. Nightwing sighed. Bats could be so pushy sometimes. He paused to think if his next comment was smart but he had to know. "Rae, why did you leave when you found out about Elizabeth? I know you were upset when I broke up with you but that didn't make you run off did it?" |
Raven looked up, yet was surprised when Bruce said he would do it. Raven looked over at Dick wide eyed when he asked her questions she never wanted to answer. Yet she knew he was going to keep pushing. " If your insisting talking about this, then I'm going to need one of the devices you invented to stop my powers" She told him. This was her way of informing him things were going to be emotional for her. |
Dick sighed but went over to his stuff. He finally brought back a new necklace. He had worked on it on and off for the last five years. It was a gold necklace made to be worn at formal occasions. He had made it thinking that she might like to go to a formal party without having to worry about her powers. He knew this was going to be tough if she needed it but it would be tough for him too. And it would be a lot less bad if she didn't destroy Bruce's house. He handed it to her and waited for her to continue.

Raven looked at it, it was rather different from the last one she wore. She would ask him about that later. She put it on. " The day I found out, and was going to tell you. Was the day you broke it off with me. I was coming to find you to tell you, yet you pulled me aside, and told me you wanted to end it." Raven said. Raven looked rather sad, and hurt, trying to hold back the full force of her emotion. There was more to it, but she didn't want to fully answer, she didn't want to cry. Though if he pushed and asked she would answer, so he would have a clear answer about it. |
Dick could see how much this was hurting her but he had to know. "Is that the only reason?"

" I..what was I suppose to do Dick? Just stand there and tell you, I was pregnant, right after you dumped me. I didn't want to seem like one of the those girls coming up with some excuse to keep you around. So I left you in the hallway, went to my room tried to think things over. I was hurting, I had lost one of the most important things in my life." Raven said. She was starting to cry," You knew I never wanted a romantic relationship, when you first approached me with your feelings, I refused. Yet you got me to trust you, to love you. Then you tossed me aside, after we went all away. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle it. Staying there with your child, when you didn't want me anymore. So I fled, I couldn't take it. It hurt to much, and then I came back and everyone was gone. You were with Kory, and I" Raven said. Her crying had gotten worse. |
Nightwing whispered, "I was one of the most important things to you?" He reached out to touch her then stopped dropping his arm.
"I didn't dump you because I didn't love you or because we had already slept together. After that night I realized that I was pushing you. I realized that most of the team didn't even know we were dating. I wanted to try to go slower but I wanted to take some time to think about it first. I wanted to do it the right way.I did love you. Then you left. I couldn't explain things to you. I tried looking for you but I couldn't find you. I waited for you to come back for months. I started being reckless. I had started going out by myself. I had gotten shot in the side. This finally happened six months after you left. Kory found me and got me help. If she hadn't found me I don't know what would have happened. She told me she cared for me but I didn't start dating her for another two months. I still hoped you would come back. Finally after eight months I figured you had moved on so I turned to Kory. It took five years before I finally gave up hope for you and agreed to marry her. We still have not slept together. I love her but I agreed to the wedding only because I didn't want to hurt her. We had been together for so long because I thought if we stayed together I would grow to love her the way I loved you." |

Raven turned to look at him. She was still crying, yet his words surprised her. It seemed that they had both misunderstood each other. Yet Raven knew it was too late. He said he did love her, and she was sure that he didn't feel like that anymore. " I didn't know...how was I suppose to..I didn't" She said. She started crying even more. This was all to much for her, now she would always know because she ran, she lost the only person she truly loved, and wanted. |

Nightwing sighed. This was all so much to learn. "Well, I think this changes things. The others should be here soon. We need to look happy for Elizabeth. Introduce her to Bruce." He handed Raven a handkerchief. |
[[ Plays a happy song, better?]] Raven wanted to ask, how it changes things. All that was different was now they need what each other had thought. Yet she didn't, she took the handkerchief and wiped her face. After a few more moments, to compose her self, she took off the necklace. " If you don't want the other Titans to see your face, you should put your mask back on" Raven stated. It was mere moments after that, that Cyborg, Starfire, Elizabeth and Beastboy showed up at Bruce's house. " Can I see my Mommy and Daddy now?" She asked. |

Bruce greated the old titans at the door and brought them to the room he had left the others in. He knew they were ready as he had check moments earlier. "Your mommy and daddy are right this way little one." Nightwing watched his daughter come into the room and knelt down. He waited till everyone was in the room before he started talking. "Data, the lady who took you, has been captured. She will not hurt you anymore. Now you see that man who brought you to this room. His name is Bruce Wayne but many people know him as Batman. He is your grandfather. Would you like to meet him?" |
