"Okay where do you wish to go?" Gambit asked standing up and taking her hand.

" Alright" She said, before climbing on to the bike. Her arms of there own according wrapped around him. She would claim it was to hold on to him, but part of her wanted to be closer with him. |
Gambit sped down the road after he felt her hold onto him and they took off. The ride was peaceful and long because he kept the speed up but took their time. Of course reporters were following them and so was someone else. They came up to the IHOP area and (ah now I remembered my old idea lol I like the new one better) he put his bike in park.

Mirianna smiled, at this moment, she was glad that his power wasn't to feel emotions. She really liked him but didn't want to to know, especially since he just broke up with Rouge, and she was most likely just an distraction. She knew that if she pulled off her glove and touched him she would know what he was feeling but she refused to cheat like that. She got off the bike once it was park. She smiled," Alright, let's go in" She said happily as she waited for him. |

Walking inside to the resturaunt, they chose a booth/table to sit at as the waitress came up to them "I'm sorry but we don't serve your kind" "And what kind is that Cher?" "Mutants and I have no problem saying it either, now get up and leave" "May we speak to the manager?" "No, he is not in right now and says we can refuse to serve anyone" |

Mirianna followed Gambit in, and sat across from him. She looked up when the Waitress showed up. She was surprised to hear, that she was refusing them service. She was shocked, she never thought people would be like this. " Come on Gambit, let's just go. This place doesn't deserve our Business" Mirianna said. |
About that time, people took out their cellphones and cameras, "I don't understand why you just cannot leave" the waitress spoke as the manager came out "whats going on here, June?" he asked coming from taking care of the bills he just finished mailing. He had heard commotion but had no idea until June the waitress replied "They're mutants and we don't serve them, Bill" "She is right, we don't serve mutants or mutant lovers" Bill spoke "I will have to ask you to leave" the place even had a bodyguard off to the side who stepped up ready for action. "What is wrong with two people just wanting to eat"

" Hey isn't that the Sentor's Daughter?" Asked a random bystander. " It is, what's she doing with the likes of him" another person asked. |
"Okay now tahts just rude there, you shouldn't judge us by our standards" gambit spoke wanting to make more of this than it was and took one of his cards throwing it at the back with the counters. "I will not leave till they learn some manners cher" though he felt like he should have listened to her.

Mirianna sighed," Gambit, please let just go. If we make this into something bigger, than we just prove to them, that mutants are the monsters they think they are. " She told him. She looked at him with a pleading expression. " Sometimes you have to walk away to win." She told him.

Gambit tried pulling away from her but saw her look on her face "Alright, alright, fine" Gambit spoke not happy about voicing who he was as his card exploded by the counter making the waitresses scream some by freaking out. Gambit walked towards the door with Mirianna.

" Thank you" She said. She followed after him, thinking they would get away without much trouble. Till someone grabbed her arm and yanked her back. " Sorry Hon, but we can't like a Senators daughter like you with with a mutant like him" Said a guy. " Let me go" Mirianna said.

"Hey hey, leave her be, she has her own life, she can do as she wishes" Gambit spoke getting in between them trying to get the guy to let go, he took out his staff he carried with him and it was retractable, he made it full sized "The lady said let her go, you should as she wishes before you have harm come to yourself monseur" (sorry not sure how the french term is spelled XP)

" Sorry, but no, it seems she's been bewitched by you, and we are not letting her get in harms way" The guy said, more guys came closer. Mirianna was annoyed, " I said, let me go. I do with whoever I please" She yelled. " Hon, he is bad news" the waitress said. " You don't know anything about him" Mirianna yelled. |
Gambit felt Mirianna's annoyance throughout the air, he could feel her a power a tad bit as it got tense. Without much warning Gambit used his staff and knocked the other guy back against the ground quickly. "I said let go of her" Gambit replied, he was being protective but understood she could take care of herself as well. The boss pulled out an M22 handgun and pointed it at Gambit, not that far away but enough for distance. "Leave her here, we will return her to her family. You will leave or be shot" it would be a so called win-win situation for the people.

Mirianna's eyes narrowed. Her family didn't even want her, and there was no way she'd let Gambit get hurt because of her. She kneed the guy holding her arm. She sighed," Oh forget this" She said, she yanked off both her gloves and shoved them into her pocket. She moved around the people, before they could stop her. Within moments, she laid her bare hand on the boss' arm. She forced him to calm down. " That's a good boy, now put the gun away" She said. The air around her seemed to be thick with her power.

The gun started to be put away by the owner, the other waitress's watched in horror almost to wonder what she was doing to their boss "Hey leave her alone!" one of the waitress's spoke running up to hit Mirianna but Gambit stepped in "I wouldn't want to harm a pretty face such as this, madmoselle" The press had shown up taking tons of pictures non-stop getting what they could.

Once the gun was away, and Mirianna was sure he was calm she removed her hand. That was more draining then she thought it would have been. It took a look to get the man to bend his will. Mirianna looked around her eyes narrowing at the others, and they seemed to back off not wanting to be put through her mutant powers. She grabbed the hand of Gambit's the wasn't holding his staff. " We are leaving" She said pulling him towards the door.

They left to go outside where more reporters were waing throwing tons of random questions at both of them.

Mirianna looked back at Gambit. " Please take me anywhere that isn't here" She said to him.

Gambit nods leading her to his bike as they got on, the reporters were distracted by a bunch of exploding cards Gambit threw behind him and headed back towards the mansion was at but not directly at it. He just needed to get her away from everything and anything public right now is a bad idea.
