Izzy was slightly suprised and upset when Kaden turned and left. She had been rude and once again she was left standing alone in a weird place. She was by far ready for this day to be over. She might not understand people but she understood knowledge.
She suddenly wondered where the pool was. When she had been invited to the school she had been sent a packet and one of those pages told of the sports the students could do. One of them had been the swim team. And that had been one of the things to get her to move. She loved to swim and had gotten pretty good at it. She thought about trying to find the pool herself but decided against it. Instead she turned the way Kaden had walked and ran after him. She quickly reached him. "Um... excuse me. Sorry for bothering you again. Could you tell me which way the pool is?" |
Looking up Kaden's eyes flashed as Isabelle caught up with him. "The pool?" he said smoothly and then sighed. "Its rather hard to explain. We have two different gym areas." he said and then looked her over again. "But the pool that you're thinking of is past the cafiteria, which if you have a map of the school it is just past the home ec. Room. " he said and then turned to her. "There will be gym doors to your left and inside will be three courts a work out room and then a pool." he said smoothly.

With a nod, Kurt smiled. "I take any of you where they need to be," he said with a chuckle. "Take Jin to medical office, and then take you and Chris somewhere else?" He tilted his head as he watched more interaction between Zeelith and her boy. It made him love the kid all the more to see his adorable responses to his mother.
Moving to rest a hand on Jinesis' arm, Kurt waited for a reply. He'd do anything for these people. - Slowly releasing Sarn, the tall woman nodded in approval. "You will be paired with Emma." Of course, the instant she said that there was a relieved sigh from the student. Emma Frost broke away from her previous sparring partner and watched as Sarn recollected his sense of reality. "You did good," she admitted with a shrug. Her blonde hair fell over her shoulders as she tossed her gaze back to Remy. "Far better than some." Looking back to Sarn, Emma smiled a bit. "She likes you." Kahcra seemed to approve of Sarn far more than she liked any of the other new students in her class, to be sure. "Are you up for some stretching, or are you just ready to call it quits?" - "I don't have to be an exception," Eric said with a shrug. He was a bit shaken when she mentioned not talking with humans. Does that mean that you are something else? As he listened, she started to talk really fast . . . impossibly fast, actually. The male lifted an eyebrow as she blurted out everything that she could within one breath. Her question caught him off-guard more than anything she'd previously said. "I wouldn't mind," he said. He watched as she struggled with her own decision. "You are really good." Eric almost wanted to get his guitar and play along with her . . . but it was a bit early for that. Kain was still skittish around him - he'd have to mention his own talent later. |
Sarn slowly stood, shaking his head of the bluriness. What ever had possessed him to try that when he wasn't good at it yet, he didn't know. He merely nodded when Kahcra assigned him to work with the girl he had met in the elevator. He walked towards her when she did him and smiled a little weakly. His eyes were only a dull grey now, the sliver had reformed into the chain around his neck. "I wouldn't mind stretching, to get some kinks out but I don't know if I'm up to sparring at the moment. And how that made you think she likes me, I will never know." He actually smiles at her.
Kainmin smiled a rather fake smile but it was the effort that counted. "Thank you, I think." She took out her pan pipes and took a calming breath. Even though she didn't trust others, she closed her eyes and began to play, this time the tune was much more subdued and light, seeming to float on the breeze gently. It lilted and flowed, sometimes going a little faster, a little slower, but nothing more then a gentle song. She seemed like a normal 14 year old when she played her music, like nothing is inherently wrong with her. The breeze actually started to pick up a little and she literally swayed in the wind, her light black hair flowing around her. |
Izzy nodded and repeated it in her head. "Thank you very much. I'm sure I can find it." She gave a slight nod before turning and running back to her room. She quickly grabbed the map she had thrown on her bed, a towel and her swimsuit and took off running again. When she reached the right building she slowed down. After a little hunting she found the pool. It was huge. She found the changing rooms and after finding no one she went in and changed. She hoped it was alright to swim but there was no one to ask and no signs so she couldn't find out. When she had changed she laid her towel on a chair by the pool and jumped in. She swam several laps just thinking about how nice the water was.

Zeelith looked at Kurt thankfully and nodded. "Thats would be perfect." she said and Chris hurried into his room and grabbed his bag packed with clothes and toothbrush. "I for everything momma." he said and then she looked at him and put his inhaler in his bag. "Alright." she said and then smiled at Kurt. "We're ready."

Emma smiled genuinely. "Stretching it is." As long as she was far from Remy, she was happy. It was the first time she'd switched partners in a long while. Moving to an open spot on the mat, the blonde sat down and started stretching her legs. "Silver?" she asked hesitantly. "You use silver with your powers?" Looking interested, the woman tilted her head and watched as Sarn started his own routine of stretching. "How does it work?" For once she seemed like a normal person. She wasn't forcing herself to seem more "in charge" or bold . . . why not let things play out in a different light for once? Perhaps it was time to let others see that she was more than some "pretty girl" with a brilliant way of studying. Blinking her thoughts away, Emma focused on Sarn once again. Perhaps she would get an answer that was unlike everyone else's. They were always the same.
- Watching as Kain whipped out her pipe, Eric lifted an eyebrow. She seemed nervous, yet tense enough to be angry. An odd mixture, for sure. As notes began to take flight, he was shocked by how potent the music became. It flowed like the very air itself, teasing and playful yet dreadfully serious. As Kain began to sway, Eric slowly sat down. She was consumed with her instrument - and it was a gorgeous sight as well as sound. Blue eyes trailing over her face, he saw pure enjoyment there. Eric smiled slightly before looking out at the water. The music continued on, overwhelming the senses as quickly as ever. It was soothing, calming - completely consuming. Eric could think of nothing else. Nothing other than what he felt radiating off of Kain - her emotions seemed to steady out, and she began to look normal once again. - Kurt beamed a smile as he extended his tail toward Chris, wrapping it about his wrist. When the boy was secured, he looked to Zeelith. Second hand flitting up to her cheek, they all teleported. First, the school. Jinesis was left with the nurse (who swiftly started tending to him) before Kurt offered to take Chris and Zeelith wherever they needed to go. "Feeling okay?" he asked, gritting his teeth as a wave of nausea started up within him. Every time he teleported other people this happened. Supposedly he wasn't in control of his powers quite yet . . . but that didn't mean he couldn't do it. Feeling rather excited about the fact that he could portal so many people at once (he hadn't done so before he'd met Zeelith), Kurt kept his hand and tail on his friends. "Where to now?" He waited patiently as he was told where to go, and then thought for many moments before letting the dark smoke coat them. As they entered a realm of wisping darkness, they suddenly appeared where Chris would be staying. "Right place, yah?" |
As Sarn stretched and listened to Emma, he smiled a little, a hand briefly touching his necklace before returning. “My power is silver basically. As a silverclaimer, pretty much what I do is meld silver, bend it, use it, whatever term you’d like to use. I can make it take shapes however, whatever I want. With practice of course. The spear, if you saw it, was the first one I figured out, so it comes much more naturally. I’ve been working on other ways to use the silver, trying to see what my limitations are."
He frowned a little as he tried to figure out how to explain to her how his power works. “I…I’m not sure how to explain how it works. It’s just like breathing. It comes so naturally, that I don’t understand how others can’t do it. I mean, I do understand but I’m trying to explain…Gah, this isn’t working…um…I inherited it from my parents who got it from their parents and so on. It’s just… natural.” He scratched his head with an apologetic smile. “I know I didn’t explain that very well. What about you though? What can you do?” Kainmin finally finished her song but she her pipes paused still at her lips for a moment, like she didn’t want to put them down. Her eyes remained closed as she lowered the pipes as she continued to sway just a little. She felt like dancing again. She often did whenever she played that bit of music. She slowly opened her eyes. They weren’t her natural green anymore but they weren’t the red of her evil mood. They were an icy, chilling blue. She, of course, had no idea they were like that at all; she didn’t know it was even possible. She looked down at the man she had just played for, still a little shocked that she had been bold enough to do so. She smiled faintly; even though it was small, it was an actual real smile. “You have a weird effect on me. I don’t talk to or play around other people except when I’m in band class. Even then, I don’t play my pipes.” Her smile turned easily into a frown. She was only half serious when she asked, “Did you drug me or something?” (O.O *starts laughing* drugs :XD) |
Zeelith and Chris helped get Jin situated before they teleported to Grandma Sue's house. She lived out inthe suberbs and Zeelith knocked. The small old lady opened the door and smiled widely. "Awww Chris! zeelith! It's been ages!" she said and embraced them both. She then looked up at blinkedthrew her thick glasses as she looked at Kurt. "A boy friend Zeelith?" she said making a rosey color come to Zeelith's features. "Grandma..." she whispered. "Right! Everybody inside!" she said and hearses them all inside.

Jin slept soundly but not at all peacefully, as his sleep was plagued by nightmares of his newfound abilities. The teen found himself again in the rainforest from earlier but this time the forest was fully grown. There was no light at all let alone on the horizon and the forest was familiar yet a twisted image of the last time. This time as he traveled through the lush vegetation his body was in tune with the life around him but he couldn't control it. There was this emerging sinister feeling as he tried to make his way out and the life forms around him began to focus on him. Stopping where he was at the male's emerald eyes gazed over the forest for a few moments feeling that something was about to happen. Seconds later as he had predicted, the forest lashed out at him whipping him with branches, vines throwing him like a rag doll, and all other manners of attacks. It began to rain as soon as the attack ensued and before he knew it, Jinesis found himself entrapped and unable to move. Trying his best, Jin called out to the plants unable to reach any of them as if they were beyond his call and the more he struggled the more powerful they became. It seemed like hours went by as he was bound and tortured by the very life forms that he had been granted dominion over before the raining stopped. Light... Opening his eyes slowly, Jinesis found himself in an unfamiliar room and bed. Sitting up slowly he realized that his body was still a bit sore but not ailing like it had once been. A woman's voice called out to him asking how he was as she came to check up on him again. Jin answered her questions and was soon cleared to leave whenever he was ready. Without hesitation the male got up and left making his way out towards the garden area where he had spent time earlier. |
After swimming her normal twenty laps she stopped to float for a moment. Izzy turned and started floating on her back. That was the one thing that she was horrible at in the water. She simply could not float in a straight line but it didn't matter since she only floated on her back to rest. She closed her eyes and simply laid on the water. After a few moments she dropped into the water and flipped back up. She started doing laps again. Maybe she would just skip all her classes for the day. She could swim for awhile and then go to bed early.

Emma listened with her eyes wide. When Sarn finally finished, she tilted her head in interest. "I'm a telekinetic," she said quietly. The blonde focused on his necklace - she lifted it slightly from his neck. "I'm still learning." She was a telepath as well . . . but that wasn't something everyone needed to know. "And I understand about getting it from your parents. I think mine was just a deformity." With a laugh, the mutant shook her head. "Do you like it here?"
- "I don't do do drugs," Eric said with a small smile. "You play very well." There was a bit of silence before he stood. "Thank you for playing for me. I . . . need to get to class." Fighting the urge to reach out and stroke her hair from her face, Eric glanced toward the school. "I'll hear you again, I'm sure. Do you play in the garden often?" Since his room was just above the area, it would be easy to hear her play. - Kurt blinked as they appeared in the right place. He flicked his hood back up as the door opened, and as they were ushered inside he felt his own face warming up. "Friend of Chris, yah?" Clearing his throat the mutant swallowed the next wave of sickness that threatened to claw at him. As they entered his yellow eyes scanned over everything. It was a quaint place, warm and comforting. Instead of speaking further, Kurt fell silent and stayed near Zeelith (very much looking like he could have been her boyfriend). |
Zeelith looked at Kurt and then back at the older lady. "NO, she's the one who delivered CHris." she whispered to Kurt. "Zeelith deary, why are you having Chris stay?" she asked as she turned on the tv for Chris. "Well, my french doors got completely destroyed grandma..." she said softly and the lady shook her head. She stood and then took Zeelith's hand. "Here honey..." she said softly and put money in Zeelith's hand. "No... I couldn't take this.." Zeelith whispered and blushed. "HOney, you need to get that window fixed. If you wont accept it for you accept it for Chris's medical and the doors." she said and Zeelith bowed her head and thanked her. "ANd you mister, please watch over Zeelith, she's a person to work herself to death, so make sure she eats and gets some sleep." she said and smiled widely at him. "You both are welcome to stay here anytime you wish."

Sarn smiled slightly before he put a hand up and pushed his necklace down. “I think most of us are still learning. Except for those here that probably don’t know about their powers yet.” He then shrugs. “I like it better then orphanages that I frequented before just wondering around Europe. So this is as good a home as any. What about you? “
Kainmin laughed. It was a chilling, cold laugh because she had no other laugh…well, that she had used at any recent time, but she wasn’t trying to be mean or anything. “This is my first day at this place. So no, I don’t play here often. And what class is it that you have now?” She was actually considering going to hers depending on what his answer was. Which was very weird for her. |
Kurt smiled before ducking his head. "I have to get to class, yah?" With a polite goodbye to the older woman, and a hug for Chris, Kurt moved toward Zeelith. "We go now?" His yellow eyes gleamed from beneath his hood as the youth offered a gloved hand. He really needed to get back.
- With a shrug, Emma started stretching her arms as best she could. "I don't like Xavier. I don't like the professors. I don't like the free time. But the classes are alright." With a slight smile, she rolled her eyes. "It's a good home if you don't want to go back to your own." - Eric chuckled as he started backwards. "I have PE." Pausing, he cleared his throat. "I'll see you around, then. Will you still be here after class?" ((:XD I'm sorry for the delays and short posts . . . I'm not feeling very inclined to write at the moment. :XD Oh, and we will be having little Miss Kitsu taking over a couple characters for me. ;))) |

Zeelith looked at Kurt and nodded. "I'll be back to visit sometime, be good Chris." Zeelith said and then took Kurt's hand. "I will momma." Chris said happily and waved. Zeelith then nodded to Kurt and closed her eyes, waiting on the wierd feelin g of being teleported. It was a hard feeling to explain, but she was lucky she had a strong stomach. |

Izzy finished up her second set of laps and swam to the shallow end. Instead of using the ladder she simply pulled herself out of the water. She walked over the to chair and wrapped her towl around her. In the process she dried her hands off. She sat down and pulled out her book deciding to read till she dried off. After all the swimming her arms grew tired and she sat the book down. After a few moments she dozed off. |

I can understand the rest of it but...free time is nice to have when you want to do something." He paused with thought. "Or is it that you don't have anything much to do?" His gears were grinding as he was coming up with an idea...more then likely a silly one on his part but, for him, it was worth a shot. She seemed worth the shot. Kainmin raised a blackish eyebrow."And the ironic part of that is, that would also be my class right now as well, if we we're actually required to go." And, of course, he had given the right answer to make her go to hers. She tucked her pipes into their hip bag that hung from her belt. She gestured towards the mass of buildings. "After you then." |

Izzy woke up suddenly. She had dropped her book and jumped up forgetting where she was. She looked around and realized she was by a pool. Then she remembered where she was. the schoolShe sighed and bent to pick up her book. She placed her towel and book back on the chair then straightend. She thought about swimming some more or leaving. Finally she grabbed her stuff and walked back into the changing room and changed. She walked into the rest of the gym and saw the small track they had set up. She looked down at her outfit. It really wasn't fit for running but it wouldn't hurt it. She sat her stuff on the side and her hat then started jogging around the track.

Kurt and Zeelith left the house swiftly. When the school was their dwelling place once again, Kurt swallowed thickly. "I think I take a break from teleporting everywhere," he said quietly. He really wasn't feeling well. He'd used his powers too much, and had tried things too fast. Pushing back another wave of nausea, the blue-skinned male offered a weak smile to Zeelith. "To class, yah?" - Emma slowly tilted her head. "I don't like having nothing to do," she said quietly. "Without school, there is nothing." She sat, stretching down to touch her toes. A nice burn started up her legs as she did so, and the blonde closed her eyes. "It isn't that big of a deal. I like working. I'm good at it." I'm terrible at keeping a normal life under my control. Friends, family . . . let that fly out the window. Forget about it. Class was already well into play, and Emma smirked a bit as a few late students meandered into the room. "I haven't had the best experiences with nothing to do." - As Kain said as much, Eric forced back a smile. Figures. He slowly started toward the school. They headed toward the gym in silence. Kain wasn't about to start talking, and Eric wasn't inclined to speak either. It was many minutes of quiet before they finally reached the area they were supposed to be meeting their instructor. Gray eyes scanning over the gathered students, Eric cleared his throat. For the first time in his life, he was feeling what everyone else was. That girl there was sad - something about leaving home. The boy over there - he was texting because he was bored. There, an extremely hyper youth. Trying to shake the thoughts and feelings away, Eric frowned. That's odd. An automatic response to this was a small wave of calm that swept over everyone as they entered the gym. Today they would be going over the track, the pool, and just about every other bit of equipment they could manage. - ((Lilith, if you want, you can choose one of the first couple Elite (who are on the front page) to keep you company. :yes: If necessary, I will send one of them your way. :P Dante, Leon, Jill. . . .)) |
((I'm a little confused as to where your gym class is taking place. Is it in a gym seperate from the one I'm running in? And really I don't care who I talk to. The last one I talked to, Dante, ran off after I talked to him a bit.))
