((*laugh* Dante hasn't been in the thread yet. He's my charry, and I haven't used him at all in here. *giggle* Let me see . . . the track is right beside the gym, which is where the class is taking place. The pool is in a room beside the gym, and there is a workout room beside that. :)
As to who should approach you . . . *goes to look at list*)) |
Zeelith looked at kurt worried as he looked really sick. Putting her hand on his back she shook her head. "Why dont yu lie down for a bit or something? I'm sure the proffessors wouldn't mind... Today isn't required..." she said and then smiled at him reasuringly. "you deserve it after being so nice to chris, jin, and I." she said softly and smiled warmly. Honestly, Kurt was a really nice guy, even towards her, which was something she was extremely happy for. It didn't happen alot.
|
Kurt thought about Zeelith's suggestion, and slowly gave her a thankful look. "Rest be good," he said, his accent thick. Yellow eyes meeting hers, the mutant suddenly glanced over to see that his tail had risen into sight. With a blush, he swiftly shoved it down so it wouldn't be seen. "I glad to see Chris," he stuttered, clearing his throat. "And . . . you." Tilting his head in a bird-like motion, the tall youth stuffed his hands in his pockets. "I glad to help."
Smiling, his yellow gaze locked on hers for a moment. Her claw didn't so much as phase him; it was her eyes that really got him. For a moment he merely stood . . . and then his sickness reminded him why he was leaving. "See you in class, jah?" |
Zeelith smiled hearing Kurt and nodded. "yes, rest would be best." she said though she was still going to class. She needed to get her mind off the damage at her apartment right now. she then smiled and nodded hearing his comment about seeing her and her son. She was glad he did as well, Chris had a friend because of it. "I'm glad too. you made chris and I so happy." she said lightly and then smiled at him, keeping eye contact with him for a bit. His yellow eyes were very interesting, and she wouldn't mention she had seen his tail. She then was pulled out of her thoughts as he spoke and nodded. "right, see you soon Kurt.' she said happily and then walked towards class.

((lol, don't know why I was thinking Dante. It was Kaden. Ok, thanks. hm... I might make a little map later.))

((*giggle* Sorry all, but I seem to be feeling particularly lazy about this thread right now. Any ideas?
And . . . I will get Dante to approach your charry, Lilith. Very soon . . . like, when I get the inspiration to type in here. :XD)) |
((maybe have an assembly or something? I've got nothin XD ))

Sarn smiled at Emma a little as he matched her stretch. It didn't do much for him because he couldn't bend far enough. He had gotten to the point where his hands were basically flat on the floor, so he couldn't go a whole lot farther. So he broke that stretch and instead went on the balls of his feet and reached his arms as far as they could go. "Well, if you find that you have some free time sometime soon, you could hang out with me. That would be something to do and better then nothing." He couldn't help but keep a little bit of hope coming through in his voice. Crap, I almost asked her out on a date....Of course, he actually did kind of ask her out on a date, he just didn't acknowledge that very well....
Kainmin followed Eric to their gym class. When they got there, she just stood next to him, feeling really awkward. Then there was that calm feeling again. She tilted her head to the side, again looking like the innocent child. It was curious. Deciding to experiment a little, she reached out a hand and lightly touched Erics arm with her fingertips. Instantly, she felt far more calm then she had before, not a single trace of her usual anger. She yanked her hand away and stared at him. No freaking way, was all she could think. Then her attention was drawn to a rather tall woman with striking blue eyes who entered and demanded everyone's attention without having to say anything. The Elite gave the children as nice of a smile as she could manage as she came into the gym. These kids were going to be in her P.E. class starting tomarrow, and none of them knew anything about the abnormal world they had just entered. Her voice purred as she spoke, though the only emotion that could be seen was the smile that still looked silly on her, and her voice boomed...which didn't seem too possible. "Good afternoon. As today is not the true first day of class, I will not take attendance. However, that doesn't mean I will let you off easy. Your here, which means I'm going to test you and your going to work hard." Her whole demeanor changed and her voice became like a drill sergents. "Now, drop and do 20 push-ups. If you can't, just do it anyway." (I couldn't resist >.<) |
((I think an assembly would be a good idea, and then I'll time skip to classes. So . . . both of you have a good idea.
I will now interrupt everyone's class (sorry Kiona) and announce that there is an assembly!)) For a moment Emma was silent. Slowly easing up on her stretch, she gave Sarn a gentle smile. "I'll think about it." She hardly had time to say anything else before a soft bing alerted the academy that there was an announcement on the loud speakers. "All students please report to the assembly hall. An impromptu gathering has just been called, and it is a required meeting." Professor Hank McCloud's voice came across the speakers in a "kind" way - it was as though he didn't want to say it, but was telling everyone to do something anyway. "Guess we'd better go," Emma Frost stood, shooting Sarn another smile. "I bet we can sit in the same row if we stick together." She may as well ditch her facade of the "preppy-chick" and move on to what she was comfortable as. She didn't need to avoid everyone forever, after all. Starting toward the hallway as the instructor ushered everyone out, Emma silently slipped her cold fingers into her new friend's. "Just keep your silver to yourself, tiger." - Frowning at the gentle touch on his arm, Eric watched Kain's expression change completely. "What?" he asked quietly, looking a bit confused as she stared at him. It was right around then that the instructor demanded everyone's attention and gave them a task. Blinking away the thought of what was going on, the blond felt relieved - he knew how to do push-ups. It was something he felt comfortable doing. He slowly stepped over to an open area before looking back to Kain. "You alright?" he asked, unknowingly letting his aura of calm filter out around him. A few seconds after he'd spoken, the announcement filled everyone's ears. It was time for a gathering. - Kurt had just closed his eyes when the announcement rang out over the school. Why now, Professor? Tail flicking in annoyance, the blue-skinned youth slowly got out of bed. His stomach had settled, but he was feeling the weight of sleep on his shoulders. The use of his powers in such a large quantity took some getting used to, and he wasn't quite ready for what he'd done earlier. Slipping his shoes on and pulling his hooded sweater over his clothing, Kurt sighed. He disappeared into the darkness only to step into a hall near the assembly room. It was a large room with lots of seating - and for a moment his yellow eyes flickered over the people there in search of Zeelith or Jinesis. Slowly sifting through the crowds, the mutant gave his hood a tug and made sure his gloves were secure. He didn't need anything odd happening to him on the first day of school. ((:XD Alright, sorry for the "interruption," but we needed some action. TO THE ASSEMBLY HALL!!)) |
Zeelith looked up from her work hearing the bell and then stood. Shaking her head she walked out of class and then saw Kaden. She nearly shuddered seeing him as he grinned mischieviously at her. "Well.... Hello Zeelith..." he said softly and then she nodded to him silently. He then slipped into the crowd, dissappearing from her sight. He was such a sly fox, she was scared of him honestly. She couldn't take him out even if she wanted, he was too expierenced and too strong in his alchemy. It was why he was one of the top elits. She then walked into the meeting area and spotted Kurt. walking over to him she smiled at him happily. "Are you feeling better Kurt?" she asked softly and then glanced around at the staring students.
|
Izzy slowed down and finally halted. She took a moment to rest before running over to her stuff and digging out the map. She looked at it for a moment before she found where she was and where she was suppost to go. She grabbed her stuff and quickly ran twards the building. When she reached it she looked down at her outfit. Well it doesn't look too bad. At least I wasn't running. I didn't sweat too much. She walked into the building and walked to the middle row of seats and sat down.
|
Spotting Zeelith as she approached, Kurt sent her a hooded smile. "Much better, yah." He was . . . though he could have done with more rest. It felt as though he'd just closed his eyes when the announcement called them all together. "Sit together?" he let his yellow eyes trace over the woman's clawed hand. Together they entered the large room that was already filling up with students. As they sat down, a familiar figure stepped onto the stage. Xavier demanded attention just by arriving in the room.
Kurt fell silent, as did the rest of the gathered students. "Professor Xavier," he whispered. - A tall male slowly approached one of the slower students - Lizzy. She sat down right around the place where he was supposed to be seated. Dante chose a place directly behind Lizzy, his silver eyes full of amusement as he observed her. She looked as though she was recovering from a run. It was a charming look, really. Sort of like a glow. Leaning forward, Dante boldly fixed a bit of her hair. "Have you even been in an assembly before, little lady?" he asked, leaning against the seat Lizzy was sitting in. His white hair flickered about his face as he smiled, and Dante's red coat seemed to draw more than a few eyes. |
Izzy turned when she felt someone touch her hair. It was one of the things she really loved. She moved her head back a little. It had to be another good looking man. "Of course I have. They might not have been so nice and always had a pre-set time but yes." Does he think I didn't go to school?
|
Smiling when Izzy looked back at him, the male shrugged. "They aren't the most interesting things, I'll say that much." Dante looked up at the stage as Xavier, the headmaster, came into sight. "You have beautiful hair," he said off-handedly. With a crooked grin, he fiddled with another lock of her hair. She seemed to enjoy it . . . and he was all for being nice. He always had been a bit of a flirt. . . .
Dante watched the stage for a few moments as the room fell silent. "How long have you gone to school at the academy?" he asked with a curious expression in his silver eyes. For a while, he ignored Xavier's overwhelming presense. He could afford it - Xavier knew him well. |
Izzy nodded. "I wouldn't know about the ones here but at home they were always dull." She turned so that she was facing the front at a diagonal so that she could see the front and the person behind her. "Thank you. Your hair is very pretty too." She couldn't help the last comment. She swatted his hand away from her hair.
She expected him to be silent like the room but he broke it. She didn't want to look like a troublemaker but she couldn't ignore him. "This is actually my first day. You?" |
With a quiet chuckle, Dante pulled his hand back. "I suppose you could say I've been around since the academy was built. It's relatively new, you know." Silver eyes filling with amusement, the youth leaned back a bit so as to let the silence overwhelm the room. Xavier was giving him that look - the "If you don't shut up, I will kill you" look.
"We'll talk later," Dante whispered, nodding toward the stage. It was then that Xavier began to speak. His voice sounded less odd than usual. The tall male was as slender as ever, and his dark hair was pulled loosely back behind him while he addressed the assembly hall. "I bid you all welcome to the Crimson Academy," Xavier glanced to Dante, who finally fell silent. "This school is very selective. It is a miracle that each of you have been accepted as students here. Don't spoil your chances of succeeding by playing the foolish majority of your age bracket." He lifted a brow when Dante coughed into his fist. "I will be speaking to some of you about specific offers in this academy. Everything I say to those specific people is of utmost importance - it is not to be shared with anyone." This was certainly a change for a school assembly. It wasn't as . . . academic as usual. "Enjoy your classes while you're still here. Your instructors have been chosen from the best. I will know if any of you fail . . . and I don't accept failure." |
Izzy sat back in her chair and faced the front completely. She expected it to be the same long winded speach she had always heard. 'Don't do drugs. Study hard. Don't bully. blah, blah, blah. Instead she listened to something comletely different. Well I knew it was selective and was known for extremely brilliant students. Special offers? What is that about. Is he talking about sports or something. And if so why so secret? It made her want to find out all the more.
|
Kaden chose to sit in the back and then smirked seeing Xavier, it had been awail. Once his small speach was over he followed Dante. nodding to the guy who had first helped him after the zombie insadent he then looked at the pinciple. He had a question that needed to be answered soon. When were they going to act as the elite once more and take out the rising population of dangerous rouge mutants? or if they were going on missions at all anymore.
Zeelith nodded adn then sat with Kurt. She listened and then turned to him. "you don't think something is going on?" she asked curiously an then shook her head. Something was up, she just hoped Chris was safe. "And Kaden has been on the down low lately, something is either up, or that slippery snake has something up his sleeve." she said her pale eyes narrowing. |
Dante's silver eyes caught on Kaden as he approached the headmaster. With a mock salute, the young man chuckled. Xavier was obviously about to place something upon the Elite's shoulders - his chosen group would have some sort of task soon. Letting his eyes move back to Izzy, Dante reached out to finger a lock of her hair again. "This is the part where it gets boring," he whispered. Xavier had left the stage, and another instructor had taken his place.
Reaching up to massage the side of his neck, Dante frowned. The buckled leather strap was still there - it had been there for a long while now. Swallowing the memories that came with the scar beneath his fingertips, Dante forced his attention to steady out on Izzy again. "Do you have any other classes today?" - From where he sat, Kurt watched as Xavier stepped off the stage. "Something up, yah?" His words were phrased as a question, but it was meant as agreement. He didn't know Kaden well, but Zeelith would know better. If some of the older students were acting oddly, then perhaps something was about to happen. Kurt prayed it had nothing to do with Chris. Pulling his feet up on the chair, Kurt perched on the edge of his seat. "You think he would recognize us?" Their earlier spat with Xavier was bound to be . . . trouble. They'd hardly escaped. What would happen if the headmaster conducted a search for them? There was nowhere to hide. Professor McCloud stepped up onto the stage and gave a rather typical rallying speech - don't do drugs, stay in your own dorms, don't stay out after ten, don't touch the garden behind the building . . . - ((I'll have Eric and Kain catch up soon. Same with Emma and Sarn.)) |
Izzy watched another person go up on stage and nodded at Dante. She sighed when he touched her hair again but didn't bat his hand away. He just won't stop.
She turned slightly to look at him and noticed when he rubbed his neck but said nothing about it. "Well I was told I didn't have to go to classes today so I hadn't planned on it. I thought I should get used to the school while I have the free time. Why?" |
(No worries Emma. And sorry!!! I'll be on again after today on Monday and then it's school, so I'll be on more :) )
Sarn grinned at Emma as she took his hand. He wasn't used to...it so he couldn't help it. He squeezed her hand as they headed out and said softly, "I'll keep my silver to myself if you don't move things around with your mind. Sound fair?" He grins...still and they end up making it to the assembly...barely. He sits them down on the bleachers, giving Kurt a nod and a smile as he passed him, and turns his attention to the headmaster. Dude gave him the creeps, always had but he listened. He wanted to laugh when he mentioned the thing about talking to some of the students. He knew that some of them would find out...things about themselves. He looked at Emma through the corner of his eyes. It's going to be an interesting year. Kainmin couldn't believe that the teacher was going to make them do that many push-ups, not that she couldn't do them of course, but that wasn't the point. She followed Eric to a spot, her mind still clicking away about the guy, and was going to answer his question then the announcement popped up. Her face regained her natural scowl. "Great. Love assemblies." She turned to follow the rest of the students and the teacher. "I'm fine." Her voice was actually nice and didn't sound like she was being rude, although that was definitely what it should have sounded like. He was making her calm again, somehow. Kain paused her step when they were almost to the room, lost in thought. He is why I feel calm. He's doing something. If I stayed near him....Her brow furrowed as she tried to continue that idea, not realizing that she had actually stopped in the hallway outside. It only took her a moment to get moving again, however, since another kid accidentally bumped into her. She looked around, found that Eric was still nearby and hurried to catch up with him. She didn't say anything, not really sure what to say. It was impossible that he was making her calm, wasn't it? She listened to the professor's speech, sneering the whole time. She could tell a lot of people were uncomfortable with the man standing there but she was just...normal. She didn't not like authority, so she didn't really care what the man was saying. Then another man stepped up and gave a boring speech and she turned to Eric, voice a whisper. "That man has the same last name as you. You related?" Curiosity had a tendency to win over her nastiness. Kyreian made sure that all the students were in the assembly hall before she found a seat...near Dante and Izzy. She watched him, a nasty little glint in her eyes. That, of course, was the only spark of emotion she had on her face. She saw him rub at his neck where the leather was and her own hand involuntarily went to a spot on her own neck where her black turtle neck covered. She sighs and turns her attention elsewhere, lowering her hand to her lap again. (Buwahahahahaha, Ky's keeping an eye on you two :XD) |
Kaden rolled his eyes and his glasses flashed as he stopped next to Dante. "You have the feeling as well I presume?" he asked softly and then looked at Dante. All the elite felt it, there was something Xavier wanted them to do, but the thing was, who was he going to assign to do it? His eyes flashing to Isabella he inclined his head. "Isabella. Nice to see you again. It seems you found the pool well?" he said smoothly, though his mind was somewhere else.
Looking at Kurt as he perched on the chair made her smile. She wasn't able to do that comfortably, well not in this form anyway. She then nodded and closed her eyes. "Unfortuneately, I think that something is up." she whispered and then ran her finger over the bite mark on her wrist. It never healed or faded, which always kept her aware she belonged to Xavier. "I don't know, but I have a feeling that for now, he will let Chris be... he's still a child... Even if he did bring him, he would be at our levell, and it would make things a bit too complicated for school life I do believe." she said logically and then looked at Kurt. "Are you scared of this?" she asked curiously, had caught his glance at her clawed hand as she rose it a bit. |
