Izzy smiled over at Kaden. "Yes, thank you for the directions. I found it pretty easily. It was a very nice swim." She turned back to look at the teacher who was going to speak.
((sorry it is so short, I didn't know what else to say to that.)) |
"Have you seen the academy's grounds?" Dante chuckled and didn't quite answer Izzy's question. "There is a rather large pool. One of my favorite things about this place is the sparring room." It was then that he felt someone's gaze on him. With a dark frown, the male glanced about . . . only to miss whoever it was that was watching.
As Kaden sat nearby, the white-haired male grinned. "The two of you have met already? I shouldn't be surprised." Dante let Isabella's hair drift from his fingers before reaching over to playfully punch Kaden's arm. "I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one feeling odd today." ((HAHAHA, of course Kyreian is watching! That's her man! lolz)) - Emma laughed as he commented on her powers - it was odd to think that someone really took it into consideration. Her blue eyes lit up with amusement as she pretended to pay attention during the assembly. Xavier was as intimidating as ever, but Hank McCloud made her (sadly) tune out completely. It was right around that time when the young woman started glancing to Sarn from the corner of her vision. He really isn't so bad. It wouldn't be terrible to have someone by her side. . . . Coughing as she choked on the idea, Emma slid a piece of gum from her pocket. Sadly, she only had one . . . so she ripped the stick in half and offered the second portion to her new friend. "Do you think this will be a good year?" With a half smile, the blonde finally met Sarn's gaze again. It was . . . comfortable to do so. Usually that wasn't the case. . . . - As they sat down, Eric glanced to Kain. She'd been acting awefully strange ever since they'd agreed to go to class. He was really thinking about that fact when her question broke through his thoughts. Blinking back into reality, the blond glanced to the stage. Ah, yes. Hank. "He's my uncle," the boy replied, smiling slightly. "He's the only reason I'm here." There wasn't much resemblance - perhaps a few similar features - between the two. "Hank is a good guy. I used to spend time with him when I was younger, but I haven't seen him in years." Not until coming to the academy. - Kurt nodded as Zeelith logically let Chris slip free. Hopefully Xavier was thinking along the same pattern. Looking back up to Hank as he finished his speech on the stage, the mutant blinked slowly. I would do anything to keep them out of danger. Of course, it was a bit late for that. With Zeelith's new marking, Xavier now had a hand in her life. Kurt's yellow eyes narrowed in thought, but he said nothing more on the matter. He hadn't been aware that he'd looked at his friend's clawed hand until she spoke about it. "I look nervous?" Tilting his head, the youth tugged at his hood to keep it over his navy skin. Smiling sheepishly, Kurt shook his head. "Scared, no. But I will say it be very different." He snorted quietly at the irony of his words. "I not a good person to ask. I not scared of many looks." With blue skin and a tail, Kurt couldn't base too much off of appearances. "Do you not like it?" he asked, looking to her claw once again. |
Izzy nodded. "I haven't seen all of the campus but I have seen the pool. I actually took a very nice swim. I didn't notice the sparring room though. I don't really know anything about fighting though."
She turned to look at Kaden again. "Yes, we meet earlier. He made me a paper rose and he told me how to get to the pool. He was pretty nice. Though it seems that this school is full of nice and good looking people." She winked at him. |
Kaden smirked and then nodded. "True." he said and then took her hand and kissed it. "It is nice to make your accuantence again." he said and then looked at Dante. "For once I beat te flirt to meeting a girl first." he said and then chuckled. "Yes... I feel that he will be wanting us soon." Kaden said smoothly and then looked at Dante with w nod. They both knew things were going to get interesting soon.
Zeelith looked at her and then nodded to Kurt. "Well it's... Nice at times...." she whispered but then shook her head. "But I have to be soo careful no to hurt anyone with it. Expecially when Chris was born... I could barely hold my own baby, without having to worry about hurting him..." she whispered andthen set her claw back in her lap. "Its annoying, not to be able to use it except to hurt people... Or chop veggies..." she said and smiled softly. |
Kyreian chuckled darkly when Dante missed seeing her. Thank you, Kaden. She always thought such things were funny. Of course, when the two of them started to talk about Xavier she grimaced before her face was emotionless again. She still hated the man, even now. Deciding not to think about it, she scooted over to where she was directly behind Dante since no one else was that close and leaned forward to whisper in his ear, "I do hope her hair is soft, Dante." That was all she needed to say. She leaned back to her normal seating position and continued to ease drop.
Sarn continued to smile at Emma. He really liked it when she actually looked him in the eyes. Not many do that as it was and most won't with him because of how unnatural his eyes are to begin with. He took the half of gum she offered. "Thank you. Its started out well so far, I think. I've already made a new friend." He bumped his knee on hers, giving his statement emphasis. "Should be promising anyway." Kainmin nodded at Eric's answer. "That makes more sense. At least you have a reason for coming." I have none. She grimaces and turns to try and listen to the boy's uncle...it wasn't working very well. It wasn't very long before she turned back to him. "What other classes do you have? Just out of curiousity." And something to say. (Esmme, exactly >.< Sorry they're so short. Brain will function better later XD) |
Jin stayed at the back of the assembly half listening and half thinking about how many other mutant were actually here. There was an understanding that he shouldn't use his powers in front of normal students unless an emergency called for it but if Xavier was the headmaster of this place, who would want to attack it? Aside from the type of mutants who just naturally looked different, based off their powers, was there really any way to tell who was or wasn't a mutant?
There were so many things that he wanted to ask and needed to know but Zeelith and Kurt were the only one's who knew about him and quite frankly Jin knew they weren't the type of people he wanted hang around. They had a great deal more compassion for life and others than he did, not that he didn't care, but it made him feel... weak or fragile when he was with them. He admired them both and somewhat despised them for their strength but he figured that the world had simply shaped them differently. Staying silent the raven haired male scanned over the large group of students wondering just how many different mutants sat in attendance and how many others had this mark. |
"I agree," Dante purred quietly. Returning Izzy's wink, the male leaned back in his seat. The silver-eyed male met Kaden's gaze when he mentioned him being a flirt (it was too true), and shook his head. "I'll get you later," he mouthed silently. It was then that Kyreian leaned forward to whisper in his ear. Sucking in a sharp breath, he let it out with a grin. Looking over his shoulder, Dante gave the woman a searing smile. "It is," he said bluntly. Izzy's hair was soft - that was a reason he kept fingering it. He was a sucker for soft things (like kittens and small animals).
"I love you," he breathed, twisting so he could reach back and grab Kyreian's hand. - Hearing her words, Kurt beamed a toothy smile. "It not too bad then, yah?" Reaching for Zeelith's clawed hand, the youth cleared his throat quietly. He slid his gloved hands over her claws and slowly lifted the hand. Instead of inspecting it closely, Kurt met the pale girl's gaze."I think it be nice." If his tail had been free, it would have been slowly darting about - his yellow eyes met Zeelith's with a strange kind of admiration. Just like you. - "Promising," Emma repeated. She loved how his eyes seemed to darken about the edge of the iris - it made his eyes seem almost colorless. It was so unique; she'd never seen something like it. As a smile tugged at her lips again, the blonde felt something bump her leg. Glancing down in surprise, she then grinned. It was odd to feel someone treating her like a friend - the knee that bumped her made Emma laugh quietly. "If we can get through the training sessions, we can do anything." - With a slow breath, Eric thought for a moment. Classes? He cleared his throat before continuing. "History." There was a pause as he thought. "Math, English, band . . . and. . . ." His gray eyes narrowed as he thought hard. "Ecology." Nodding, the blond glanced to his uncle as he stepped off the stage. The next person up was just as boring - more so, really. It was the janitor going on about the grafitti that they'd been spotting near the back of the academy. "What about you?" Eric said quietly, finding it suddenly difficult to keep his eyes from wandering toward Kain. ((:XD Good job at showing you're still with us, Marsyas deary. *purrs and thinks really hard* Methinks it's time to meet the Elite, young Jin. I'll have that happen right after the assembly - which is ending as the janitor says his last words. ^_^)) |
Kaden chuckled, enjoying the mouthed words from Dante. They always fought and teased eachother, just like when Kaden had been learning the ropes of the Elite. though he knew that Dante didn't like how fast he had caught on and excelled. With his technology smarts as well as fast reflexes and great control on his powers, he was definately a force to be reconned with. He then bowed his head to Dante's 'lover' as she finally got the flirt's attention. Your relationship thrives because you keep him on a tight leash...
Zeelith smiled and then watched as Kurt lifted her clawed hand. Watching him interested she then met his eyes and blushed softly. The pink contrast to her cheeks was nearly startling. She then nodded and smiled. "yes, it does come in handy now and again." she admitted and then looked at Kurt's gloved hand. "Would you mind helping me fix up my appartment this weekend? Unless you have something better to do, then I totally understand." she said softly and smiled at him sheepishly. |
Izzy sighed. Everyone keeps talking about me like I'm not here. And people certainly are touchy here. "Nice to see you too Kaden. So this one is a flirt? I never would have guessed." She said the last part as sarcasticly as she could. And what do they keep talking about. Cryptic talk is horrible. And it isn't like I don't notice him talking to that woman. She tucked her hair behind an ear and listened to the janitor. Poor guy. I wonder if he needs help? And I can't wait for this to be over. She put her hand over her mouth and yawned widely. She heard her jaw pop. I think I worked out too much.
|
(Its all I had lol)
|
Looking at Isabella he nodded. "Yes, it's nice to see you as well." he said smoothly. Then looking at Dante he rolled his eyes. "Oh I know... He's so discreat about the flirting." Kaden said before looking towards where he felt Xavier's presence. Remebering when he had first met Xavier he nearly grimaced. He still hadthe wonderful scar all the way up his side, it was a reminder that he could never go back to being a regular guy again. Though he felt he had more purpose here in this world of powers and so called magic. He then blinked out of the memory. "Dante... Have you seen Leon lately?" he asked smoothly.
|
Kyreian smiled as Dante took her hand and she squeezed. She actually smiled too. “I love you too, Dante.” She leans forward and gives him a quick peck on the forehead before trying to turn her attention back to the Janitor speaking.
Sarn snorts and grins at her comment. “I definitely agree. Those things can be freaking intense sometimes.” His voice dropped down a bit more, which caused his voice to deepen a bit. “To be honest, Xavier freaks me out a little. Granted, I appreciate everything he’s done for me but still.” Kainmin raised a delicate looking eyebrow. “I have math, science, English, pe as you know, runes, and band. What period do you have band? It would be…” She paused, trying to find the right word that wouldn’t be offensive in this social situation. “ironic if we were in that together too.” (Sorry they're so short. Brain was being mean again ) |
"That be good," Kurt said in his usual thick accent. Slowly letting Zeelith's hand return to her lap, the blue-skinned youth smiled. He enjoyed seeing the color on the white woman's cheeks. It made her look a bit more . . . happy. "I would love to help." He was already looking forward to the weekend. . . .
Kurt shifted so he could sit in his seat normally. The assembly seemed like it was wrapping up now - students were looking restless. It was time to get back out to the day. Dinner would be served in the cafeteria soon, and then they would be free until morning. School would really start up then. - Feeling Kyreian kiss his forehead, Dante sent her a soft smile. He was definitely a flirt, but he never treated anyone as seriously as he did Ky. The silver-haired male reserved his gentle reactions for her. When he caught what Kaden was saying about his "discreet" flirting style, he turned to sit down normally. "Not everyone is as smooth as you, sparky." Settling into his seat and crossing his arms over his chest, the male glanced to Izzy. "We've known one another for a long while. Don't mind us, hun." When he glanced to the janitor on the stage, he rolled his eyes. The man always needed someone to clean up around the academy. During the speech he gave, Dante found himself dazing off. Kaden's question brought him back to reality. "Leon?" Hesitating, Dante cleared his throat. Being one of Xavier's men, Dante was constantly sent out after someone. Leon had been pulled into the Elite unwillingly - and then he disappeared. To that day Dante was still searching for him at different times. Most people thought he was on vacation - or on a mission - but the silver-eyed male knew better. "It really has been a while, hasn't it?" - She loved how his voice deepened when he spoke quietly. It was . . . charming in its own way. Emma's features took on a dark twist when Xavier's name was mentioned. "What is there to appreciate? I hate him," she whispered. Turning her blue eyes to the stage as the janitor finished up his speech, the blonde cleared her throat. "Sounds like they're letting us out now. Want to go check out the pool?" Anything to get the conversation away from the headmaster and his dispicable ways. - Frowning in thought once again, Eric took another slow breath. "Band is . . . " Pausing, he listened to the janitor finish off his speech. They would be released within the next minute or so. "Fourth period," he finished. Blinking slowly, his blue eyes flickered to Kain's features as she focused on her word choice. "It would be very ironic." It was then that students applauded (for the end of the assembly, not actually applauding the speaker) and the announcement came that they could leave. People started to stand and herd toward the doors, but Eric stayed where he was. No need to become part of the milling mass that overpopulated the halls quite yet. ((@Marsyas - :XD I have SO many characters . . . I would make another one for you, but I am past my limit.)) |
Smiling releaved Zeelith looked at Kurt thankfully, her blush still on her cheeks. "Oh thank you... It means the world to me to have a little help. If I don't replace those french doors I'm sure that I'll be kicked out of the apartment." she said softly, worriedly. She couldn't afford to get kicked out once again. She had just gotten a new home from the last time she had been kicked out because Chris had accedentally hugged the landlord's cat too hard and crushed it. "Ill make you a nice dinner for helping me then Kurt." she said happily and smiled at him.
Nodding Kaden sighed. "Sometimes I really wonder..." he whispered, a far off look in his eye. "But it seems like it's time to disassemble." he said smoothly and looked at Isabella. "I have a feeling you will enjoy your stay here... At least for awail." Kaden said and then looked info he'd eyes. |
Izzy sighed and stood up. "Well it was great meeting all of you and I'm sure I'll love it here but I really have to go now. If I don't get some sleep soon I might just sleep out here." She moved out of the seats and quickly slipped in and out of people. She raced back to the dorm and took a quick shower then walked to her room. She flopped onto her new bed and fell asleep before she even got under the covers.
|
Kyreian listened to the boy's conversation, choosing, as usual, to remain out of it. She stood when the assembly ended and stretched. "It has been a while. I hope he's alright." She didn't often voice an opinion about the other Elites with the exception of Dante. She looked over at Izzy. "Sleep well then, sweet." She was usually nice to the girls.
Sarn wasn't surprised by Emma's attitude towards the headmaster. It was a common thought. He shrugged, letting it go for now. He stood up and held out a hand to help her up. "Sounds like a fine plan to me. You like to swim?" Kainmin's pale green eyes turned towards the janitor as it ended, her expression that of complete boredom. She remained seated as well, not because Eric did, but because she hated people, thus hated crowds. She watched the people, however, as they milled about and left the hall. "That's when I'm in band as well. Ironic. So we have a couple classes together. That should make things..." Again, she thought about her word choice, remembering what she had felt in their P.E. class earlier when she touched him. "Interesting." |
((:XD I'm just .. . at a loss for what to post right now. I apologize, everyone. -_-' I'll have to reply later. *sighs and goes to veg somewhere*))

((I'm hoping it doesn't die either! ))

(That's two for keeping it alive :XD)

Dante wrinkled his nose as Lizzy left. Waiting for the last of the students to filter from the room, the silver-haired male leaned against the seat behind him. Looking up at Kyreian with puppy eyes, the Elite was silent for a few moments. "I was only going to show her around, Ky." He wasn't begging for forgiveness . . . yet. With the slightest of smiles, the male stood and stretched, showing off his bare chest beneath his red coat. "You know me."
- ((:XD Xavier will be calling the Elites just as soon as I figure out for what, exactly. Rogue mutants, yes. Chris? Not yet. Any suggestions? Perhaps a purge on the school, or something equally creepy?)) Turning her gaze back to Sarn, Emma nodded. "Swimming is something I've done since I was little. We had a big pool in our back yard when I was small." Smiling grimly, she forced her thoughts about the headmaster away as best she could. "I guess you like swimming, too?" The blonde started toward the door at a swift pace. She didn't want to be in the room she'd last seen Xavier in any longer than she had to. She slowed down once they were clear of the crowd and headed through a particularly large hallway. "The pool is open all day, just so you know." Honestly, it would be nice to have someone to spend time with again. . . . - Hearing Kain's words, Eric raised an eyebrow slowly. He stood and waited for his new . . . friend . . . to do the same. They started to head out into the school's larger areas. "Interesting?" Having classes with Kain would certainly be . . . interesting. P.E. and band? Of course. His favorite classes were now involved with Kain. He wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing quite yet. "I don't really want to get back to class," Eric admitted quietly, accidentally bumping into Kain as he avoided being knocked over by another student. His brow knit for a moment as they continued walking. "I will see you around, won't I?" He'd had people ditch him so often, he wasn't sure if he should be asking. - "Dinner is always nice, yah?" Kurt seemed to darken, though a blush was hard to see on his blue skin . . . especially under the cover of his hood. Standing, the youth offered a hand to Zeelith. "Not neccessary, but nice." His yellow eyes lit on the girl's face before he started to pull her with him. They left the room just in time to avoid meeting with Xavier again - the headmaster seemed to be lingering somewhere near the stage . . . and it wasn't a comforting thought. "What do you do for fun?" Kurt asked suddenly, keeping his hand in Zeelith's for a few moments before realizing it. Slowly pulling his fingers from hers, the youth cleared his throat and spoke again. His accent was suddenly thicker . . . though it was probably because of his embarrassment. "I don't mean to pry." - ((DUN DUN DUN *play Darth Vader theme here*)) Xavier watched as the Crimson Academy students filtered from the room. His red eyes lingered on Zeelith and Kurt as they left, but he said nothing. Now wasn't the time. Instead, he glanced to Dante and Kaden, as well as Kyreian. His Elite were still gathered - or at least most of them. "I wish to speak with you all." His echoing voice filled their minds, and the headmaster stood beside the stage as he waited for them to gather. He knew it would take their newest recruit, Jin, a while to get used to hearing the headmaster's voice. Perhaps he would need to send someone after him. . . . |
(what type of purge are we thinking of? :) )
Kyreian snorts and rolls her sapphire eyes. "Too well. Sometimes I think it's unfortunate I know you like that." She grins at him before playfully tickling his exposed belly. She stopped instantly when Xavier spoke to them, a scowl suddenly dominating her usually calm features. She still hated him, still despised the man but she didnt have much choice but to listen to him...when it was right for her to do so. She grabbed Dantes hand and started to pull him along after her towards the headmaster. "Come on, flirt. Duty calls." Sarn followed the girl out of the gym. He could feel the tension in the room and wanted to get away from that...even if he didn't share the same feelings about the headmaster. He shrugged at her question. "I just kinda like sports in general. Though when it comes to water, I like to play more then compete. I don't go to the pool that often these days because I didn't have anyone that would go with me. My few friends all have a problem with water or the chlorine in it." He smiles at her a little. "Are we actually going to swim or just check it out?" Kainmin grimaced when he bumped into her. For some reason, it sent a shock through her arm and shoulder. She rubbed it as they continued on their way, her pale eyes darting around as there were a lot of people. She hates people. She glanced sideways at him as she moved closer to avoid yet another body. She managed not to touch him again though. "Class doesn't sound appealing to me either. And your seeing me now, aren't you?" Sarcasm doesn't exactly go away after silence..."What instrument do you play?" She wasn't trying to catch him off guard or anything, it was just a question that was on her mind. |
