"Never ask me to cook. Not if you want to survive." Leon chuckled as Jill fumbled with the "tossed" ball. Whether it was on purpose or not, no one could tell.
"Think you guys will own an animal?" The blonde threw the ball to Leon with a smile on her face. "I'm seeing a goldfish . . . named Stinky."
"Is it alive?"
Jill laughed as she watched Leon's throw to Kaden.

Tyrod's silence made Dante smile grimly. It was what he said - brother - that made him think for a few minutes. If Xavier was the closest thing he had to familt, didn't that mean Tyrod was part of that now? The male continued walking forward until the scent became sickeningly strong. All three of them were together here.
Wordlessly shifting forms, the mutant looked to Tyrod. Nodded toward the three as they tossed a ball back and forth, he prompted his new companion onward. It was time to see what he could do. Clenching his clawed fists, the male let wings snap from his back, his white hair flitting away from the horns that crested his head. Red eyes locked on Tyrod, he waited for the man to move first.
-

Xavier didn't so much as blink when Kyreian spoke. When she finished, he merely offered her a slight smile. "You will do this for him." The male narrowly avoided hitting a low spot on the ceiling as he stepped forward. Reaching out to prod the marking on Kyreian's neck, he let his hand move to her head. "You want to find him. Listen to me then."
Images filled Kyreian's mind, allowing her to see exactly where Dante and Tyrod were. It was as though he was there with them. They were at the park.
"You should go. They might need a woman's touch." The creature's duel-toned voice slithered through the darkness that began to consume the both of them. When the shadows backed away, Kyreian was just down the street from where the other Elite were stalking their prey.

Marsyas 05-26-2011 04:18 AM

When they arrived at the park and Dante looked at him then motioned to three people playing catch, a toxic smirk slithered onto Tyrod's face. Showtime. Walking forward, the unbound mutant stretched his hands and popped his neck as he eyed the male who had just thrown the ball. The mutant made a fist and pulled it as far back as he could. His muscles bulged from the pint up power he was about to release. That smirk that he had first made when he saw the three was now gone as his eyes narrowed and were glowing white with power, then he let his fist fly. The sound that was heard from its release could only be compared to that of a cannon firing right next to your ear. An invisible surge of energy likely the equivalent of a focused one hundred mile per hour wind rushed forth at his target as a backwave of force ushered the male backwards and almost knocked him off his feet. "Aww, is that it?" He looked at Dante, "I think I can do better, since that felt a little off. Maybe I should rotate my shoulder through next time." His venomous grin was back. The one named Leon was first on my hit list. . .

Esmme 05-26-2011 04:35 AM

The creature laughed as Tyrod missed his mark. Glittering fangs didn't so much as mar his grin. "Try again. Don't miss." His wings snapped to their full position, launching him into the air. He would go for Kaden: he wanted that man for himself. It would be difficult to keep them alive.
Red-blended energy formed around Dante's clawed hands as he moved with blinding speed. Swooping down to ram into Kaden, the man snarled and lashed out with a backhand. The energy should stun him - and he should make it a quick fight.

Leon didn't see it coming. The burst of energy that stumbled him made him growl, his battle instincts flipping on like a switch. A gun was in his hands faster than ever, and his aim flew to Tyrod.
"Tyrod?!" Jill's eyes widened as she looked in the direction of the bolt. She'd been covering her ears after the sound frightened her, and she stood from her crouched position. "What are you doing?!" This man had previously saved her life . . . but what now? What was this?

Marsyas 05-26-2011 05:05 AM

The male ignored Jill. She was obviouly looking out for these men so she was an enemy at the moment. Though honestly he didn't want her to see this, so he quickly turned on her and snapped a strong burst of energy her direction that would knock her out with a direct hit. Then he made a dash for Leon and launched two more punches at him. The first was aimed at his gun, and the second at his face. Ty planned to end this fight as quickly as possible. He stopped his dash about five feet from his then almost instantly gathered the same amount of energy he had the first time and released it in a forward dual fisted motion. Another thunderous boom sounded off and that same backwave ushered the young mutant back about eight or nine feet. For some reason, Ty couldn't stop smiling maliciously. Its this battle, this power is a rush!

Esmme 05-26-2011 05:22 AM

Letting out a yelp, Jill was knocked off of her feet. She was out before she ever hit the ground. The direct hit was strong enough to knock her unconscious.

Leon was startled by the speed that his opponent moved with. The bolt that knocked him off of his feet sent him flying backward many feet. He landed roughly, breathless. Stubbornly refusing to stay down, Leon pushed himself to his feet. Glaring at Tyrod, he felt his own energy building. Not now. Please. He didn't need another outbreak.
He hardly noticed it when Jill was blasted to the ground, but the subconscious twinge of anger filled his mind. A blade flicked up from a sheath near his boot and he threw it in the direction of Tyrod. He followed up by closing the distance between them, aiming low in order to knock the breath out of his attacker.
-

Marsyas 05-26-2011 05:54 AM

Tyrod knocked the blade away effortlessly with his power, and raced towards his opponent as they closed the gap on one another. He could tell Leon was aiming low so Tyrod jumped and to his surprise he jumped rediculously high. Oh ho ho, this is interesting. From his position, which was just above Leon at this point, Tyrod rained down bombs of energy on the man in a show of force. If he manages to escape this one he's one tough bastard. The thought actually made his blood flow even faster. He needed a sand bag, and if Leon kept getting up, Ty would keep knocking him down. "I think I'm starting to get the hang of my new powers," he announced as he landed gently on the ground.

Seer Of the Future 05-26-2011 03:13 PM

Kaden was shocked as Leon was hit with a power and his eyes snapped to his attacker after catching the ball. Though he had no time as Dante came after him, which he had expected. After being shiscabobed he would be pissed too. As he was hit with the blow Dante's hand met rock. Kaden had made his cheek rock and snapped his fingers just in time. But hearing Jill's cry snapped him. He snarrled at Dante and moving swiftly his hand met his gut, and his hand was burning. "Im going to kill that partner of yours." he growled angerily, his multicolored eyes flashing in an untamed anger. They had released his inner beast.

Esmme 05-27-2011 01:29 AM

"Go ahead and try," Dante replied, his voice deepening drastically. The fist that met his middle made the male growl, but he shoved Kaden away viciously. The fire that appeared didn't seem to bother him - though it was certainly annoying. Dante shied back a few inches before lashing out with his claws once again. "If you surrendered this wouldn't be necessary."
He noted how Kaden reacted to Jill's cry: he obviously was attached to the girl. Dante laughed as his wings snapped again, bringing him around to knock Kaden from his feet with sheer force. If the conditions worstened he could always just take the girl captive and stop the fight easily. As it was, he was pleased to see how Tyrod was doing. "Nice jump, brother." He laughed again, enjoying the thrill of the fight.
-

Leon was slammed into the ground once again. It would be easier to stay down. The soldier groaned as he tried to get back on his feet. His weapons were so easily cast aside. This wasn't what he'd been trained for. Leon's glare returned to Tyrod as he stubbornly rushed forward. Ramming into his opponent's side, he got him on the ground for the first time. The rough-and-tumble style required little skill other than brute force. Leon was sure to get a few good blows in. He was pissed to say the least. As the male's rage built, so did his adrenaline.

Marsyas 05-27-2011 02:26 AM

Tyrod was still admiring his new powers when he noticed Leon struggling to get to his feet. The man had heart, that was for sure. Though he didn't expect the man to have this much energy left as he was rammed and mounted. Leon was a bigger guy than Ty was and was stronger in all accounts as well. The only advantage Tyrod had was his powers and keeping himself at a range and that was now gone. Pulling up a guard, Ty took a few good fists to the face before he decided he had to do something about this quickly. His nose had been busted and he was sure he would have a knot on his forehead from one of the other shots. It was a few more agonizing fists before an idea struck him. Physically Ty was entirely too weak to lift the larger male but if he used his powers. . . Tyrod reduced the pull of gravity around Leon and then gave him a hard shove and watched him lift off like a feather in the wind. Then with a smirk on his face he reached out with his hand and made a rough pulling motion that increased the gravity around the male ten fold, slamming him to the ground at an alarming speed. The impact was almost sickening. If he had allowed his target to float any higher in the air, the young mutant wasn't even sure he would've survived the landing. Xavier had made it clear he wanted these people alive but if Leon kept getting up, he just might get himself killed. That wouldn't be my fault. . . would it? Picking himself up, Ty wiped the blood from his nose and wiped his eyes (they were watering from his nose being busted) then dusted himself off. "Ah man, I really would've liked to avoid getting dirty."

Esmme 05-27-2011 03:00 AM

His blows had drawn a bit of blood . . . but it wasn't enough. Leon found himself lifted into the air and slammed down with incredible force. Completely breathless, Leon could hardly manage rolling onto his back. The action didn't do much to help him regain his breath. Everything hurt at that point. It was hard to move. Something was broken - a lot of somethings, most likely. His chest was on fire - his knee wasn't doing too rad either.
Hearing Tyrod was what brought him back to the fight. Taking shallow breaths to keep his ribs from hurting too badly, Leon let his gray gaze move to his enemy. "That . . . tends to happen . . . when you do another . . . man's dirty work." His will slipped then. A subtle wave of energy flowered from Leon, and he was left lightheaded. They didn't have long now.

There was a scream from somewhere nearby in the park. The infection had begun anew.

Seer Of the Future 05-27-2011 03:49 AM

Kaden gasped as he fell to the ground and then suddenly the ground burrned fast. "Now you've done it." Kaden hissed. Jummping to his feet, air from around Dante rushed towards him, taking his oxygen and then suddenly a fire whipe came into his hands. He then used it to wrap around Ty's wrist and pulled hard, slamming him into the ground. Hearing te scream he swore and dashed to Jill, picking her up, making sure the infection and his fire didn't harm her. Though his hand was still holding the fire whip tightly.

Marsyas 05-27-2011 05:25 AM

Ty was again caught off guard when a fiery whip snapped him to the ground. "Dante, do your job! I shouldn't have to do it for you!" A controlled rage burned in the male's eyes. He hadn't intended on getting involved in his brother's fight but since he was pulled into it. . . The whip burst from his wrist as he stood to his feet eyes now fixed on Kaden who was holding Jill. Tyrod had intentionally knocked Jill out so that she wouldn't have to witness this fight, "You shouldn't turn your back to your enemy. Especially not someone like me," he hissed venomously as he launched a strong burst of energy into the mutant's back. He also set up a defensieve barrier around himself so that anything that came within five feet of him would slow down considerably, making it exceptionally difficult to hit him. This whole round up deal was taking too long in his eyes. It was time to cut loose and end this.

Esmme 05-27-2011 07:08 AM

An invisible force swept the breath from his lungs. Dante choked, trying to breathe in. He heard Tyrod's words, and they pissed him off further . . . but he was still recovering. Don't tell me what to do, pup. The creature lifted his head with a fire in his gaze. He was tempted to slap Tyrod in the back of the head, but finally decided giving in to that urge was . . . juvenile. When he finally regained his breath, Dante stood still. Darkness began to seep from the ground in whispering wisps, clawing their way up the male's form.
"It's time to go back." His deep voice echoed slightly . . . a whisper, just like the shadows. The dark tendrils began to engulf Leon's fallen form before another grouping reached for Jill. As the thick strands crept up to the girl in Kaden's arms, Dante's fiery gaze locked on the blond's. "Let her go." If he didn't . . . well . . . Ty would certainly be at Kaden's throat. He just wanted Jill out of the way, honestly. She was human. She didn't deserve to be killed for this man's sake. "You know she doesn't deserve to be hurt because you put up a useless fight."
He readied the sticky darkness to steal the girl from Kaden's arms. After that, he was all Tyrod's . . . to a point. Dante still wanted his share of the fight . . . though he only needed a few more moments of concentration before joining in again. Kaden didn't stand a chance against two of them.

kionaredhawk 05-27-2011 03:32 PM

When Kyreian appeared from the darkness, she had fully changed. The Dark and anger tended to do that. She flexed her hands that now had long blackened nails that likely would be sharp if she chose to use them. Any bare skin showed black veins running their course and her eyes were blacker then anything, deep holes in her soul. She knew instantly where Dante was, the Dark calling to her.
She made sure her scarf wouldn't fly off and sprinted, skin seeming to shimmer in what light could be had. It only took a couple seconds to assess the situation. Without blinking, she was almost in front of Kaden, not touching the Darkness. She didn't need to. A hand snapped and clamped onto the fire whip. It broke where she touched it, the fire going out instantly, what solidarity it had crumpled to ash. She turned her black gaze on the boy, her face absolutely emotionless. Her voice was even more so. "I would suggest doing what he says. For your sake, and for hers." That was when a smile slid onto her face...something creepy and dangerous. "And your fire won't work with me." Humor lifted the next words. "My touch is deadly." She stood there, ready to touch him if she needed to, waiting for his response.

(You guys didn't leave me much to do >.< :P and forgive me if that was too much...)

Seer Of the Future 05-27-2011 04:32 PM

Looking at Tyrod and Dante Kaden growled angerily. "You two are idiots... If I let her go she will get infected..." he said and nodded his head to the three infected coming towards them. With bursts of fire at them they let out horrible screams as the flailed around in pain. He was then hit with the blow from Tyrod and fell to a knee. "I see you enjoy doing a bastards dirty work." he said snd then chuckled. "Who knows what an artery is made up of?" he said and an evil smirk flitted across his face. "I do." he said and then stood slowly. "Shall I prove my theary of making them errupt." he said and then growled seeing Kyrian. "Really? Three against one now? That's not very nice." he snapped but he knew things would be useless to fight. Calming himself he took a step back and nodded. "Wheres your boss? I need to talk with the freak." he saud smoothly as he held Jill a bit tighter.

Esmme 05-27-2011 05:10 PM

((*giggle* Sorry! We got a bit carried away. Oh . . . and they're outside in the park.))

Dante heard the voice he'd been longing to hear. His red eyes cut to Kyreian as she entered the area, his concentration broken. Jill remained solidly in Kaden's arms while Leon finally faded. They would find him back with Xavier. Eying his friends, the creature turned his attention to the infected people shambling nearby. Kaden's fire made them scream in pain, which drew the attention of more of them.
"We should go," he said, stepping up beside Kyreian. His gaze traveled over her veined skin slowly, and he couldn't help but admire her in that moment. Shaking his thoughts away, Dante cleared his throat.

From where she was in Kaden's arms, Jill groaned quietly. She could barely hear what was going on: it was like trying to listen to something underwater. It was so muddy that it didn't make sense. The blonde slowly forced her eyes open a crack, but she was so dazed that she couldn't truly see anything. "Kaden," she slurred, noticing that she was being held tightly. Something was going on . . . but she couldn't recall quite what.
-

((:XD Time to get moving before the zombies get them. This infection business is going to destroy the city. . . . ))

kionaredhawk 05-27-2011 05:14 PM

Kyreian sighs. She holds out both hands as the black viens began to receed and disappear. It was only on her arms, however. "Here. Let me take her. I would suggest not holding her still when you talk to the freak. And I won't let her get...infected. While she's with me, she will be safe." Though her face did not betray her emotions, she was inwardly shuddering. Why did it have to be zombies? "I swear I won't let her get hurt." She wasn't sure if he would believe her, but she was a person of her word. She had to be. She waited, not acknowleding that Dante stood beside her. She couldn't at that moment.

(I'll edit that one. Sorry!)

Seer Of the Future 05-27-2011 06:56 PM

Kaden looked atthe girl as the black in her viens faded. Note to self, don't pop her viens... That would be messy. He then felt Jill moving in his arms and his eyes softened. "Jill... I'm going to let someone else take care of you... I'm going to make sure you'll be okay." he whispered and then kissed the top of her head before gently handing her to the girl. "I will take your word... Please make sure she'll be safe..." he said softly his eyes looking over Jill with a bit of worry before meeting her holder's eyes. "I won't hurt him if you do." he said and looked at Dante. He could see the connection betweenthe two as soon as she had come.

Esmme 05-27-2011 07:08 PM

Dante's gaze hardened. He took a threatening step forward and lifted his arm as though to backhand Kaden. His dark tone filled with resentment. "Come quietly and I'll try to remind myself to keep you alive." The winged creature bore his fangs in a snarl before forcing himself back into human form. "Let's get moving. Xavier hates waiting." The male clenched his fists, looking in the direction of the apartment. He could feel Xavier calling - he always could. The connection between them was stronger than the others merely because of the time he'd been one of the Chosen.
Stepping away from the group (fully intending to leave them behind if need be) Dante started to lead the way back.
-

Jill didn't struggle. She didn't so much as wake until they reached the tattered apartment building. It was the cold that really got to her. Shaking off her dazed feeling (though not successful in the least), Jill realized that she was being carried by a stranger. Frowning, the blonde couldn't muster the strength to move. She let things play out as they entered the building. She could see Kaden nearby - that was her only comfort at that point. Her mind was so fuzzy. . . .
-

Xavier met them in the large room where Kaden and Leon had first been kept. It was the living room. "You brought them with you. Good." He sounded pleased, if that was the correct word for it. Leon sat on the floor nearby, looking a bit worse for wear. His gray eyes moved to Tyrod immediately, and he would have stood if he'd been in better shape.
"Dante, Kyreian. Take care of the mess you left behind." With a dismissive wave of his slender hand, Xavier's red eyes flared with anger. The infection was spreading rapidly. It needed to be contained. They were drawing too much attention to the area. When Dante nodded, stepping toward the door, Xavier turned to Tyrod.
"Pleased, I see." He observed the look in Tyrod's eyes. "You are stronger. Have you found anything different about your abilities, Tyrod?" The master became completely solid for the first time since they'd known one another. His voice sounded natural for once: human. Stepping toward Kyreian, Xavier motioned for her to set Jill on the couch.

Seer Of the Future 05-27-2011 08:05 PM

Kaden walked silently. Watching as Xavier solidified he glanced at Leon wishing that he had been able to save Leon and Jill. He hated thinking of where he was, knowing how bad he and Leon had been battered and beaten when they had first seen this place. He then rolled his eyes as he wathed Tyrod get asked how he liked his powers. Though he tensed when the girl was told to put Jill on the couch. He didn't want her here when that monster was here...

kionaredhawk 05-27-2011 08:47 PM

Kyreian took the girl and held her gently. It was easy to carry her. As they left and arrived at the building, she transformed back to her human self, pale skin and sapphire eyes. She turned them on Xavier when he said to put the girl down on the couch. The same couch. Her grip on the girl tightened but not enough to hurt her. "I won't leave her here like this." Her voice was hard. She would not leave the human girl in the clutches of that asshole without protection, especially since she wasn't entirely conscious.

Esmme 05-27-2011 08:59 PM

Xavier's gaze moved back to Kyreian slowly. Looking a bit amused, he tilted his head. "And you think you can interfere, Kyreian?" The tall male chuckled, motioning toward the couch again. "She's human. I have no use of her taste." As though that should comfort her, Xavier fell silent. He spoke many moments later. "I have not chosen Jill."

From where he stood beside Kyreian, Dante frowned. Xavier didn't want anyone he couldn't use.

kionaredhawk 05-27-2011 09:02 PM

Kyriean glared at Xavier, not moving to put the girl down. "That's what has me worried. What are you going to do with her? I can take her with us, do my job and protect her. I've done things like that before and I know you know that, Xavier. I won't leave her unprotected with you."

Seer Of the Future 05-27-2011 09:11 PM

Kaden was so releaved that this woman was still protecting Jill. "Thank you so much..." he thought to himself as he watched the two fight it out. He wouldn't put in a word, if he did Xavier would use it against him.

((brain fart))

Esmme 05-27-2011 10:46 PM

"One uses every piece in the game to their advantage," Xavier said, his amused expression slowly fading. He didn't mention in which way Jill's "piece" would be used. "Jill is not here to be harmed. If she goes with you, she risks being infected. If she remains here, Kaden can watch over her." The tall male didn't seem annoyed quite yet, but he was obviously not used to having people question his word. "I give my word that she will not be harmed here. With you she will be in harm's way."

Leon was listening with a strange look on his face. He didn't want Jill to be here, but he didn't want her to be out there either. Both the soldier and Dante were surprised that she was standing for Jill so firmly.
