Cloud nodded when Aerith said. "Yeah. Stay close to me." he told her. He kept a hand on his blade, ready to defend them both when he needed to. He noticed Riku and Sora not far from them. He led them over to him. He figured that being closer to them would help keep Aerith safer than with just him.
|
Staying quiet most of the time; Riku just listened to as Kai, the new girl Kali and Kaito spoke with one another. Whatever they were rambling on about was really of no concern to him at all. All he really knew what they were speaking about was something about the dangers of this world. No matter what was really around in this world that could've been dangerous; it wouldn't be the first time he and Sora had fought things strange other than plain heartless. Whatever would come there way, Riku was pretty sure they could all take care of it pretty easily without too much trouble. All of a sudden while standing there and awaiting the time they could all get going, he heard how Kai spoke up about if they could get going already. Giving a sigh, he nodded a bit.
|
Aerith nodded at Cloud when he told her to stay close to him. She wasn't going to object to that because she personally didn't want to be alone in this new place. She didn't trust her new surrounding and did not want to be left behind. She followed Cloud as he led the way to the place that the others were at.
"Stay somewhat close we don't want to be separated." Kai said before she ran into the dense woods around her. She didn't even bother moving around the trees, but went right through them as if they weren't even there. She kept a fast pace to make sure they would make good time to the palace. She knew they were going to be followed by the other creatures in the woods, but if they kept a somewhat fast pace maybe they could prolong their encounter with them. Kuri followed after her sister keeping a perfect pace with her. She to did not bother running around the trees, but rather phased through them. Weaving in and out of the trees took extra time that she wasn't going to waste. Kuri knew the path they were on from her childhood and she knew the exact lay out of the forest. She had the advantage in this area and she knew it. There was going to be a clearing soon and that was where she planned to take her sister. She only needed to reach out and grab her and make it to a tree in time and she was safe from any harm. Not even a vampires speed could make up for the time she would have after she was across the realm. |
((What has happened now?))
|
((We are just leaving the ship now. We are trying to get to the palace. And that's about it at this point.))
|
((Oh kk, Angel is down already so that works.))
|
Sora tried to stay focused on what was going on around him. But the words seemed to flow past his brain. It was sticking there, no doubt about it. But he couldn't seem to focus long enough to actually pay attention. All he really heard was that there was some dangers in this world. That sounded easy enough. After all, he was the Keyblade Hero. There was nothing he couldn't do, as long as he set his mind to it. He glanced over at Kai and wondered briefly where they were going. He didn't ask though, figuring he'd find out sooner or later.
((He's probably going to be more attentive once I actually get the chance to read through the rp. Please be patient with my absentmindedness.)) |
Angel had jumped down from the tree and started walking toward the palace in the shadows, keeping an eye out for heartless. She knew she had a long walk ahead of her.
|
Kali was able to keep up with no struggles. Vampires were extremely fast. "Kai you can't go too fast. Remember that we have humans with us" she said to Kai as she looked back to see they weren't going to keep up with Kai's speed. She decided to slow down and stick with the humans. They would need her help mire than the guardians.
Kaito stuck with Kali and the humans. He knew that Kai and her sister could handle issues themselves. Plus he knew that Kali and him could catch up in a matter seconds if need be. Kaito let out a small yawn. He looked around and realized they were closer to the castle than he thought. They would be there in no time. |
Kuri looked back at the two vampires and watched as they dropped back. This was the chance she was looking for. Kuri reached out and grabbed a hand full of Kai's hair and pulled it back towards her. Her finger nails had formed into claws and she gripped her sisters neck tightly. When she had a firm grip of her sister she dashed to the nearst tree and was gone. When she hit the destination that she needed she let go of Kai and let her roll to the ground. "I finally got you. You know I don't like when I fail the first time, but I guess this will get the job done." Kuri said as she stalked towards her sister. "Do you know where we are Kai or do I need to set it on fire again?" Kuri laughed. She had set these woods on fire and killed her parents and multiple vampires sent to clam the fire, but they couldn't stop here until she had finished her quest. Kai had managed to get away in the mess, but not this time. "Do you want to scream for Mom and Dad like you did the night I killed them? Oh please do!"
Kai looked over her shoulder to tell Kali that she wanted to scout a head to make sure the area was clear, but she was pulled back and off her feet by Kuri. "This isn't funn-" Kai began to say, but when she felt Kuri's claws against her neck she knew it wasn't a joke. The only thing she could manage to do before she was forced into the tree was to scream. What little good that may do her though. She knew that once Kuri had her away from everyone they may not find her again. When Kuri let go on Kai's hair and neck she rolled to the ground and slammed in to a rock. She couldn't see past the black spots in her vision, but she could make out Kuri's voice. "Wha- What are you talking about? This isn't a time to joke." Kai coughed up. "Yo- You killed them! That's crazy! Why wou-...Kuri calm down just think." Kai tried to reason with her, but she was barely able to stay conscious and she knew that if Kuri wanted to do something to her she had a perfect chance to now. Aerith had heard the scream and she tighten her grip on Cloud's hand for an instantance then she dropped it in order to run towards the source. "I'm going to go see what happened." Aerith called back over her shoulder to Cloud. She couldn't find the source of the scream, but she found Kali and Kaito. "Wh- What happened?" SHe asked through her labored breathing. She looked up at them with concern in her eyes hoping that they may know what had happened. |
Kali turned back around to see Kai being pulled into a tree by her sister. She looked to kaito as he pulled out his sword. Kali bent down to the ground and searched for Kai. It took a moment but she found her. She looked up to Kaito "They went to the northern woods" she said. she stood up and looked to Aerith. "It would seem there was a traitor amongst us. But don't worry Kaito will take care of it" she said to the young girl.
Kaito drew his sword and waited for the words. When Kali told him where they went he drew his wings and took off towards the Northern Woods. He knew this would happen and he couldn't help but smile an evil grin. |
Cloud was surprised by the scream, like Aerith obviously was. He didn't like the fact that she ran off on her own. So he went after her. He would have gladly gone with Kaito to investigate, but he wasn't going to leave Aerith alone. So he stayed with her and Kali.

Kuri licked her finger and put it into the air. She felt the wind change and she knew that someone was coming. "Well, sister you choose quite a group of friends." She grabbed Kai's arm and looked around her at the heartless. "You can handle this for me, can't you?" She said in a teasing voice because she knew they would not question her, but do as she wished. She pulled Kai and herself into the tree and into the heart of the woods. It was only a place that could be reached by using the system of the trees due to the fact that it wasn't an exact location, but inside a tree its self. Kuri threw Kai into the wall and let her slide down to the ground. "Stay here won't you dear. Your sister has some chores to do." Kuri walked over to the walls of the tree and pressed her hand against the tree trying to locate her target. When she found it she backed up and ran full force into the tree. She came out in mid air and reached up and grabbed the feet of the vampire. She pulled him down and swung him towards the ground. She didn't look to see if he made a connection with the ground because it was too risky, but she fell back into a tree and safely into her hiding spot. She knew that she could hide safely here for a while because they couldn't track her scent inside of the tree, but they could when she exited. It was a game of timing and she had sometime to spare. At this point the heartless should have been arriving to greet them.
Kai was barely conscious when Kuri ripped at her arm pulling her back into a tree. "You won't get away with this." She whispered to her sister before she threw her into the wall. She let out a yelp and slid to the floor where she laid. She couldn't move at this point or she would have tried to escape. Kuri was going to play a game with them and when Kuri played games she played them to win. She didn't like to lose. Kai struggled to get up, but she couldn't gather the energy in time before Kuri came back. She had to wait now. Aerith nodded at Kali and turned around to see Cloud walking towards them both. She wipped her head around when she felt something dark moving there way. What she saw was heartless moving towards them and plenty of them. Aerith moved back towards Cloud and prepared herself for the fight that about to happen. |
Kaito was not phased by the guardian grabbing him and throwing him to the ground. He landed on his feet and saw Kai up against a wall. He walked up to her. She was barely conscious. He knelt down and picked her up. "Don't think you can hide little girl. I know exactly where you are. I can smell your horrid stink." he turned to face the heartless that were now closing in on them. He drew his sword and began to smash them one by one. They continued to multiply. "Ha well i'll just leave the rest to you miss Kuri" he said as he took flight once again with Kai in his arms.
---------- ((Hmmm does that make sense??)) |
((Not really because I said you can't get to the place I am unless you can travel though a tree so kind of ruined it all. Now I don't have a clue of what to do.))
|
((ignore my post then))
|
((Nope I got something now just had to sit and think about it :D You just threw me a curve ball there with that though x.x))
Kuri cursed and jumped up into the air and punched a hole into one of the vampires wings with her claws. "Fly now, vampire." Kuri growled. She let herself fall to the ground and on her way down she grabbed Kai's feet and ripped her out of his hands. She landed on the ground and let Kai fall to the ground beside her. She dragged her into the tree and left her there laying. Kai had felt someone pick her up, but her only thought was that it must be Kuri. When the arms around her were gone and replaced by a hand on her ankle and the sense that she was falling she knew it hadn't been Kuri, but someone trying to help her. She was about ready to open her eyes to see who when she hit the ground and cried out in pain. She didn't even have time before she was thrown back into the dark place she had been before. |
((O.O uhhh...did we just get completely side-tracked to a completely different storyline or something? Since there seems to be new drama. Idk what we can really do with the others besides just watch since this is more a fight between you guys. I'm completely confused about everything going on at this point. Which is kind of different since i usually understand this. @[email protected]))
At this point Riku had noticed how basically Kai, Kaito, Kali, and that other girl were the first ones to leave. They had basically just left the rest of the group at the ship without so much as a warning about anything. Giving a little sigh, Riku just shook his head a bit turned to look at Sora. "Well..looks like we're going that way." he spoke pointing right in the direction the rest of them went off to as he began to give a slight power-walk to follow along with them from behind. While he had been walking forward; his eyes just flung open for a second when he heard a loud scream go off. The voice seemed to had been from Kai as Riku looked around the area he was at first, completely unaware about what just happened he began to become a bit more on guard even though his legs were in immense pain. Slowly while standing still and trying to locate the source of where the scream had come from; strange black puddle-like things came out of the ground as the small weak heartless began to come out from the floor first. They moved just as though they originally did. Mindless and completely uncaring for anything or anyone. All heartless ever wanted was to steal other people's hearts. That much would never change about them. Within the second of seeing the heartless come out the ground, Riku swung his hand to the side as a bright light appeared right in the palm of his right hand as his keyblade; Way To The Dawn. ((Since you guys kinda left everyone else. lmfaoo I guess I'll put up my own little story.)) |
Kaito snarled at Kuri. He came down to the ground hard leaving a dent. He came around punching Kuri sending her flying back. He again grabbed Kai and took off running. He knew he could out run her. No one can out run a vampire.
((Kali is still there happy death. but good that you brought in some heartless... i am hoping this battle won't be drawn out though)) |
((O.o I thought I told everyone we were leaving, didn't I? <.< maybe I didn't I thought I did hmm. Sorry, I get easily side tracked. We can ignore everything or just run it out and make it quick. :o I said in my last post there were heartless there, didn't I? Am I going crazy and thinking i'm posting things and I'm not? I'm so confused!))
|
((@Darkness
I knew Kali was still with the group, it just seemed a bit unfair to people that they are getting left behind once more. Thats what I kinda meant by all of it. I'm just saying you can go ahead and keep going with this storyline about fighting Kai's sis. just careful we don't leave people too far behind. @Harukiai Don't worry. I did see you posted that we all left along with each other. Just I thought that would be a bit strange how the entire thing kind ended up with the story flying into a different direction.  no worries though. I did see the fact that the heartless were coming from your post. I saw that but it seemed what I read from it, I thought you meant that they were on their way. In my post I put that they were right out in front now. Unless I am wrong?  )) |
((you did say that))
|
((Sorry. I can fix it though. I'm done with Kai and Kuri they are out. I'll say how in this post from now on I only have Aerith. I seem to be causing a little to much trouble so here we go ^^))
Kai felt herself moving again, but it didn't matter at this point she knew she wouldn't make it through a night like this. Her body was broken and she couldn't see anything anymore. All she could do was listen and feel the endless pain. "Put me down...It's not worth it ju-...put me down." Kai managed to whisper. She let go of her pain and slid away into the darkness that was waiting for her. Kuri was slammed into a rock, but she could only laugh because she had won. "My game is complete." She laughed. She got up and walked away leaving the rest of the work to the heartless the had began to gather in the area. She had no more reason to be here so she left. She knew the heartless would do their job. |
Kaito put the lifeless body of Kai down. He grabbed Kuri by the hair before she could leave and pulled her back to him. He bared his teeth to her and unmerciful bit down on her neck and drained her of her life. He threw her body into the tree and gave Kai a proper burial. He return to the group and gave the news Kai was gone.
|
((ehh?! Kai died?! :o what!? I didn't mean you couldn't continue the story you were going with. I did like the whole thing truly I did. I was just wondering really what we could all do while you guys continued the story was all since it was mostly directed the story mostly to the vampires and guardians as it seemed. :o I didnt mean it in a bad way. I'm sorry for getting your character killed. meh bad. v,v))
As the heartless began to appear one after another around the group, Riku held onto his own keyblade tightly as he scanned the area around them a bit. No doubt about it, they were surrounded and these heartless were planning to attack at any moment. Whether they werre planning to attack all at once or one at a time didn't really matter. Most of the forms of heartless around the group were the most common kind. They were like little grunts of heartless compared to the other ones as they were small with bright yellow eyes and small antennas sticking out of their heads. They kept looking left and right at each other and toward the group multiple times as though they were unaware of what their job was to do. "Why...aren't they attacking yet?.." |
