"I don't know why they aren't attacking" Kali said a bit worried. she watch the heartless as the surround them. "Should we attack first?" she asked Riku and Sora. She didn't know what to do or why they were not attacking. She was confused. She let out a deep sigh. "Come on! We need to get to the palace" she said impatiently.

Kaito was still injured from his battle with Kuri. His wing was healing quickly but was not completely healed. He grabbed his sword and took his stance next to kali. "Maybe we can get by without fighting" he said in hope they could.

((pretty much we just got someone who just died. v,v and also we're pretty much surrounded by a bunch of heartless that don't seem to be attacking just yet.

Sorry I haven't posted. I've been having some uber writers block for this rp. Not sure what to post since I've been thinking of a reason why the heartless wouldn't attack.))

Riku continued to hold onto his keyblade tightly as he looked around at most of the heartless which almost all stood in their strange position. Moving side to side almost as though they were about to attack, only to see them not even move forward at all. Squinting his own eyes to look at one of the heartless closely; it didn't seem as though it had changed in anyway whatsoever. "I'm not too sure..thats not really normal of them. Unless someone ordered them to stop." he stated as Riku's own eyes widened up when he noticed how a couple of the small heartless stepped aside to let a giant gap come open. Tilting his own head, he had thought the heartless were almost seeming to let them go free. Only to notice a tall, well-built heartless come walking out from the large gap of darkness, with the huge heartless symbol in the middle of it's chest. The large heartless stood almost to about 8feet tall with it's usual two yellow eyes. Although this one seemed really different from the many other heartless that Riku and Sora seemed to have met. It seemed to have fangs like a vampire. "Okay..thats new." Riku came out and said with a little nervous frown.

Kali gasped. "It is as we feared Kaito. They are turning our people to one of them" she said with anger and sadness. She drew out her vine whip and was ready to attack. "This must be the reason why they won't attack. Sora! Riku! Be careful. This heartless will have the same powers that a normal vampire would. I can assure you it will be very fast and strong. You may need to stick with us for this battle." she said taking a place next Riku.She bared her teeth and let out a growl.

Kaito agreed. He let out a growl. He quickly took his place next to Sora. "They could always jump on our backs to fight" he said to Kali and the the two keyblade masters. "My wings are completely healed now so it wouldn't be a problem" he added when he saw the concerned look on Kali's face.

((By the ship...there were heartless....and now a vampire one... Kuri killed Kai and Kaito killed Kuri in a battle))

Angel mourned the loss of a friend sensing she was no longer amongst the living. SHe knew the mission though. A group of heartless jumped at her and she cut them up, her Katana were made of a special metal found in moon rock, so were her sai's.

Hearing from Kali that they should be careful due to the fact that these heartless would have the same abilities as a normal vampire would. Riku gave an exact nod as he clenched his keyblade tightly. This wasn't exactly what he expected from the heartless; turning into creatures that sucked mortal blood and not to mention it was going to be taking people's light and hearts. All of a sudden, when the larger heartless saw how some of the smaller ones jumped after one of the humans. It gave a little groan as it took one step forward toward the group; only to vanish into thin air. Immediately within the next second; it was already behind Riku and Sora as it aimed it's first attack for Riku. Only to kick him in the back and throw him across into the woods. Seeing that, Riku flew into the woods as he gave a quick black flip only to land in between another group of heartless. "Dammit." he spoke to himself clenching his keyblade as he slashed each and everyone of the smaller heartless around him; only to see how they died and vanished into the darkness as well. Right after, the larger heartless aimed his next attack toward Kali as his own claw went for her face.

Kali growled and his at the heartless. As it swong its claws at her face she ducked down and scrapped its leggs with her own claws. She slid under the heartless and slashed away at some of the smaller ones. Kali started to become dazed and out of it. She waved it off and turned her attenion to the big heartless.

Kaito hissed at the giant heartless. He jumped up to attacked but was blocked by the smaller ones. He took his sword and cut them down. Finally bringing his sword around to hit the vampire heartles in the arm.

"Riku aim for the spot where a heart would be located on a normal person to defat the vampire shawdow" said a voice coming from the pendent. "You must hurry now. Yuuki's life depends on you and your friends" the females voice rang into riku's ears.

As the large heartless focused itself onto the other two vampires, it noticed how the smaller ones kept helping it by jumping in the way; only to be cut down one by one. The larger vampire heartless didn't really care what happened to the smaller ones, since that was basically their job; to sacrifice themselves for their superior heartless comrades. As the large heartless noticed how the young female just ducked quickly to dodge his attack, he gave a loud growl to see her go right through him from below to aim for the smaller ones. Not long before than, seeing how the another young male jumped forward at him; only to be blocked by many smaller heartless. The large one just gave a slight grin, which seemed only to last for a moment before the male took down the smaller ones that blocked his path. Right as soon as the large heartless saw how quickly the male came dashing forward with his sword to cut his arm off. The large heartless dashed itself to the side, only to be cut lightly right onto the arm. Even though it was a heartless and all, since the damage was only a mere scratch it still bled out the same blood as a vampire.

Meanwhile, by the time Riku had taken out the smaller heartless that had surrounded him. His own eyes widened right up when he heard a young female's voice come out of no where. Strangely, it felt as though the voice was familiar but yet at the sametime it felt so different. Whatever the case, the female voice seemed to had told him that the large heartless had a weak point as well. That was kind of new, most of the time when Sora and Riku had fought against heartless; enough bashes to it's own body would be enough to kill it. Although this large one seemed to have a weakness of hitting it right in the heart. Giving a nod and hearing that it seemed as though Yuuki's life depended on it; Riku just clenched his keyblade tightly bolting forward to take out the heartless immediately. Only to be caught off guard and having the large vampire heartless grab him by the throat. "A-...little..help here?!" Riku called out with his voice sounding strained due to him being choked by the heartless's claw.

"The pendent will protect you" the voice echoed into Riku's ear.
Kali hissed one more time. She jumped up the scratch the vampire heartless arm that had Riku's throat. "Argh! Just go back to the darkness!" she yelled at the large vampire heartless.

Kaito jumped up to help Kali and Riku. He could tell Kali was becoming weaker. Kaito used his sword to cut the arm of the heartless to free Riku from its clutches. He didn't know why, but he knew Yuuki was very fond of this boy and would kill him if something happened to him. For Yuuki's sake he would protect Riku.

Angel knew there was a battle going on by the ship, but she knew she could get to the palace unseen, but she turned back and sprinted back for the others, coming to the huge group of heartless in miuntes, she slashed at a small group of smalls ones with her swords, they vanished. Leon was balsting his gun blade at heartless where there brian and heart would be, killing one by one, standing by the boat still.

As the large heartless was attacked by both the female and male vampire, it growled loudly at the immense pain as it's arm was slashed first by the female. Immediately seeing that coming, it noticed that the male was dashing forward with his sword. Clenching it's claw tightly it released it's grip onto Riku causing him to fall to the ground than jump back just to dodge the male vampire's sword. Missing an arm against these guys wasn't going to be the best thing ever due to him only being able to fight with one arm. As Riku had finally fallen to the ground, he coughed a bit heavily due to the fact that the vampire heartless was choking him the whole time earlier. After coughing a bit more, his attention was taken up by a shadowy figure heading around the larger heartless to take down the smaller ones and run toward another direction. As Riku squinted his eyes a bit more, it seemed that it was one of the females that had also come onto the ship with everyone else when they made it to the planet. Where she was heading; Riku had no clue, but probably it was somewhere that would come to everyone's advantage. Glaring back at the large heartless as it stood there holding it's arm due to bleeding. Riku opened it left palm as a small bluish light flame began to appear in the middle of his own palm. Glaring up at the large heartless Riku dashed forward placing his left hand right in front of him. "Dark Cannon!" he called out as three bursts of the bluish light fireballs blasted forward to the large heartless's spot where the heart was. Turning it's attention over to Riku when the bluish light became visible. The vampire heartless just jumped right over the flames before it hit and brought it's foot down onto Riku's head; only to miss. "You guys! I need someone to keep that thing occupied when I shoot my attack! That thing is alot faster than my Dark Cannon!"

Kali grinned. "Right! Kaito and i are fast enough to keep him occupied" she said with a little laughter. Her true vampire nature began to show for once. She jumped up and cast her whip and hit the vampire heartless in the face. She landed back down to the ground gently. She grew out her wings and took to the air. "Now Riku!" she yelled out.

Kaito also joined in the air with Kali. He threw his sword with much force to the vampire heartless's foot to pin him down so he couldn't doge Riku's attack. He let out growl once again and just smirked as he looked into the eyes of the enemy.

As the large vampire heartless had seen how both the female and male began to attack at once. He began to direct his attention to the female first off since she had basically whipped him in the face; staring up at her flying throughout the sky, the large heartless was right about to jump up to attack her when it's own bright yellow eyes widened up with pain when the male stabbed his sword into the heartless's foot. Letting out a loud growl of pain, it glared right down at the male and raised it's claw to attack. But right at that moment, Riku was already charging another blast in his palm as he charged forward slashing the smaller heartless that got in the way to try and block him. By the time Riku had gotten close enough; he pointed his left hand forward letting out another burst of three bluish white fireballs toward the large heartless's weak spot. The first shot completely destroyed the outer shell of the heartless's skin while the next shot penetrated through the inner skin of the possessed vampire. While the final shoot burned right through to the core causing the vampire heartless to scream out in pain and finally fade back into darkness as well. Falling to his own knees, Riku began to pant heavily as both of his legs felt as though they were just at the brink of breaking in half.

Kali dropped back down to the ground. She landed so gracefully next to Riku. She held out her hand to aid him. "Come on. Lets go. The king can heal your wounds" she said politely noticing how Riku was in pain.

Kaito landed next to Aerith and Cloud. "We must press on now. Are you guys alright?" he asked all the humans. He then realized they were missing someone. "Where did Angel go? She does not know these lands. She will get lost" he said a bit angered by her disappearance.

Aerith had gotten her Staves out and was trying to help Cloud with the Heartless, but she didn't think she was doing much help. "I'm all right." Aerith said though she was getting tired, but that didn't really matter at this point. She turned towards Cloud to see if he was ready to go as well.

((I think we should have a short time skip so we're all on the same page as to where we are.))

"okay gang. Lets go" Kali said as she helped Riku remain balance. She grabbed Riku and gave him support as she continued down a path towards the castle. "we aren't too far away" she said in reassurance.

Kaito looked up to Cloud to see if they spoke the truth. "You seem tired miss" he said turning his attention to Aerith again. "If you get too exhausted just say something" he added as he turned back around follwed Kali towards the castle. "We should be there in about half an hour" he said realizing they were close.

"I'll be fine. Thank you for your concern." Aerith said with a smile on her face. She would be fine it was just a little taxing on her compared to the others. She could make it though. She wasn't goinng to slow anyone down because she was simply tired.
