"Well, lets get some rest. I'm exhausted" Darkness said with a yawn.

"me too" she said. and then she did something she hadnt done since she was a pup. She laid down beside dark and put squirmed under his arm and went to sleep beside him.

Darkness smiled when she squrmed under his arm. It reminded him of when she was a baby.

She yawned and went to sleep.

Darkness woke up first the next morning. He let Sahara sleep while he went out and hunted a gazelle for breakfast.

Sahara slept soundly.

A young leopard snuck into the den. He curled up beside Sahara for warmth.

Sahara woke up and saw the leopard. "who are you" she asked.

The leopard cub scurried away, shivering with fear. "My name is Hunter"

"don't be scared. i wont hurt you" she said.

Hunter approched Sahara with caution. "I was cold, and I just need a place to warm up"

"come on. i will keep you warm" she siad with a warm smile.

"Thank you" Hunter nuzzled up next to Shahra.

"no problem. my brother is probably coming back with breakfast. are you hungry?" she asked.

"Yes, very much so" Hunter said. Darkness returned with the kill. "I'm back. Uh, who is that?"

"this is hunter. The cute little thing woke me up when he came in here for warmth" she siad with a smile.

"Hunter, where is your family?" Darkness asked. Hunter sniffled. "Mommy died of a snake bite. The others were killed by wild dogs"

"aww you poor thing" sahara siad nuzzling him. "i am sahara and this is my brother Darkness. Darkness can he stay with us" she asked.

Darkness just couldn't say no. "Of course he can stay" "Yippe!" Hunter said with a big smile. He went over and began to eat his fill.

Sahara began eating to.

Hunter ate his fill and layed down. "Thank you, I haven't eaten in days"

"your welcome" sahara said.

"Go ahead and make yourself comfortable" Darkness said. Hunter began playing with Sahara's tail.

Sahara laughed a bit.

Darkness sat and watched. Hunter was adorable.
