"A very rare mushroom must be found" Phantom said. "It is the only known cure"

" i can find it where is it at?" amber asked.

"The badlands. I will come with you"

"ok lets go" she said.

Phantom led the way into the badlands. The last place he had seen the mushroom was in the elephant boneyard.

Amber followed beside him.

"Keep your eyes peeled, it shouldn't be hard to spot"

"ok" she said.

Phantom spotted the mushroom growing in a pile of bone. Then he heard the barks of wild dogs. "Amber, get the mushroom. I'll hold them off!"

Amber grabbed the mushroom and made a run for the pride rock.

I can't beleive im following the directions of that crazy monkey.'He mumbled to himself. Exhailing with a huff Lucion blew the cole black strands of his mane out of his face. ~ Panting Balthazar came to a abrupt halt in front of the wattering hole. Lowering her head she begang lapping at the pristine surface of the water.The cool water was soothing on Balthazar s parched throat. |
Phantom fought off the wild dogs one by one.

The closer Shenique got the louder the ruckus was. Crouched down in the edge of the dry grass She watch the large whit lion fight them off one by one.She watch the strange new lion. She had live here almost all her life and yet she couldn't remember having ever seen him here before. But she like to watch th way his musse coiled as he struck the dogs down, it was mesmerising. She had nevere seeen any one handle the dogs as well he was.
Finaly Lucion emerged from the tall grass and looked around. He caught site of the rock the monkey had told him about.' Guess that crazy monkey was right' he tought as he kept moving toward pride rock. After drinking her fill of the cool water Balthazar went over to the shade of a neer by tree and streached out under it not caring if anyone foud her or not. |
Phantom finished off the wild dogs, and went to catch up with Amber.

Shenique was watching as the white lion started to leave.Currious about this new commer she lept out or the grass following him. closley behind.She padded silently from years of pratice.

Phantom caught up with Amber.

"are you ok dad?" she asked.

"I'll be fine. We must get that mushroom to Kamala"

"ok lets go" she said and ran towards the den. when she got there she gave it to kamala.

Kamala ate the mushroom. It tasted nasty. After a few minutes, Hunter felt his head. "His fever is gone"

"good" amber siad laying beside him.

Kamala licked Amber. "Thank you for saving me" He said to her and Phantom.

"no prob" she said.

Shenique walked up to pride rock and looked inside the cave.
Lucious arived about the same time as Shenique. Lucious aproached the mouth of the cave. |
Amber smelt other lions. She got up. "whos therE" she asked.
