Kaname heard the knock on the door and reluctantly got up to answer it. He could sense that it would be Kya Shoutou just by the presence he felt. He couldn't mistake her for anything other than a Pureblood. He would have laid there on his sofa if it wasn't for the fact that everyone was still outside. He climbed down the staircase and opened the door to the dorm. "Good evening, Kya Shoutou. It is a pleasure to meet you." Kaname said as he opened the door. He wasn't being kind because he wanted to, but rather for the sole reason of making sure his name among the Purebloods stayed untarnished. If she had been sent by the Vampire Council then he would be sure to give them nothing to use against him. Instead he would figure out exactly why she was here and use her to his best advantage.

Ayumi looked up at Shiki trying to piece together what he had told her. Wasn't a simple scolding enough? She gave up on figuring it out and nearly missed Kaname's greeting. She fumbled with her words, but managed to say a simple 'Good morning'. She refocused her attention back on Shiki trying to form what she wanted to say next. "What does he do to get all the girls going?" She asked as she tilted her head. She had heard the girls beginning to riot, but she only knew that it was because of Aidou. She didn't know what he had done to get them that way.

".." Shiki thought about the right way to word this. But it was hard to find a way to say it so that Aidou wouldn't sound like the complete moron that he was. "He basically just acts like an idiot." he said. "But then again, it isn't an act. He's just not the smartest person here. It would be best to avoid him if you can." he added.

Kya blinked at him then smiled. "Hello it's good to see that someone knows." Her voice was icy and frustrated she hadn't thought another pureblood would answer the door. "Though i don't now you'r name." Kya had never payed attenton to the vampire world till she had heard of this school.

"....But..." She began to protest, but stopped before she got herself into trouble with Takuma. She didn't want to have a long discussion about who she should be around and who she shouldn't. "He couldn't possibly be that bad." She said placing her hands on her hips. She wasn't going to let anyone get in the way of her 'Master Plan" of getting to know Aidou. 'Okay, maybe it wasn't a master plan, but it was the best she had.' She thought to herself. "Come on let's go say hello." She reached out and grabbed Shiki's hand and began to drag him along behind her before he had a chance to protest.

"Your name was on the list of students and as the Dorm President I happened to see it. I am Kaname Kuran, please come inside." He motioned his hand for her to enter. There was no need to keep the door open and let in all the annoying light.

Before Shiki had the chance to say something about Aidou, Ayumi had dragged him off to say hello. He stopped a few feet away from him. "Hello, Aidou." he said. He really wished that he would stop acting like a complete idiot wherever he went. It was starting to get annoying.

Even though it had been her idea to go say hello she just stood there frozen when they stopped. All the courage she had gained before had been thrown away. She tightened her grip on the hand in her own. It was a natural reaction and she didn't even notice that the hand wasn't her brother's, but Shiki's. She released her grip when she noticed that she had been trying to crush his hand. She managed to form a smile and mouth that she was sorry to him. "Hello, Aidou" She managed to say. Her heart was racing and she didn't know what to do. She couldn't squeeze Shiki's hand and there was nothing else for her to seek comfort in. She was on her own and she was going to melt under the pressure if she didn't find a way out and soon.

Rima watched the commotion silently while eating her beloved pocky. It was pretty hard to believe that Aidou actually enjoyed all that attention. "Hello, Aidou." Rima waved at him emotionlessly. This was boring. She noticed Ichijou's sister squeezing Shiki's hand quite hard. In fact, it was turning slightly purplish-red.

"Hey. You're Ayumi, right?" She asked the younger girl. Rima wasn't exactly always going around being a saint and helping people out of awkward situations, but this girl looked like she was going to faint. "I'm Rima."

Shiki was relieved when Ayumi released his hand. It was starting to go numb. But he stayed quiet. He could tell that the girl was nervous about talking to Aikou, though he really didn't see why. Even if the boy was annoying at times. He turned to Rima when she came over. "Hello, Rima. How have you been?" he asked her.

Ayumi jumped a little at the sound of Rima's voice. It had broken her from her panic and gave her a sense of some relief. It wasn't enough to change the fact that she was flush, but it gave her another place to direct her attention. "Ye-...Yes. That's me." Her voice was higher than normal do to her state of panic a few minutes ago and she turned another shade of pink. She had a film of tear building in her eyes. She wasn't going to cry, not here she thought. That would be embarrassing for herself and Takuma. She sat back as Shiki began to talk to Rima and basically hid behind Shiki like she would her brother.

Ichijo looked up to see Ayumi dragging Shiki along with her. It was nice to see her begin to open up to people so quickly. He hadn't expected her to so easily especially after her introduction. His idea of her finally opening up to the other Night class students was crushed when he saw Ayumi crushing Shiki's hand in her own. All he could manage to do was smile, but in his mind he was screaming for her to stop. To his relief she let go of his hand, but now she was on her own and she was sinking quickly now. Ichijo watched as Rima came to the rescue which was completely out of her character, but he was glad that she had. Ayumi became a little steadier once she spoke to Rima, but he knew his sister was still in trouble. Even though she was still panicking Ichijo took the chance to excuse himself from the conversation. "I have to go take care of business now. Aidou stay out of trouble, please. Good bye everyone." Ichijo waved to his friends and slipped away. He made it to the dorm, but was met with Kaname and a unfamiliar female. "Ah..Sorry for interrupting excuse me." He walked into the dorm and turned back to the female. "I'm Ichijo by the way. Are you a new student?" He asked her.

Yuuki was startled when the teacher began to yell at her for falling asleep in class. "He yells at me, but not Zero? thats not fair" she whispered to Yori when the teacher went back to the lesson. Yuuki let out a small sigh and tried to remain awake for the last bit if class there was.

Corin decided to not go to the school quite yet. She would go the next day. She contacted Headmaster Cross to inform him of her absence. She also assured him she would arrive the next day.

"Hey, Shiki. I'm good. A bit bored, though." Rima nibbled on more of her pocky. Rima was actually ready for classes to start, since she was very impatient and got disinterested a bit too easily. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Ichijou talking to someone in the doorway. It didn't look very familiar, so it was probably just a new student. "Want some?" She handed out the box to Shiki, shaking it's contents to motion that she should grab a chocolate-coated stick.

Shiki smiled slightly when Rima offered him some pocky. Though it was barely noticable. "I'd love some." he said, reaching out and taking one. He loved pocky. Though its been a while since he'd had any. He had been to busy with his job, so he was glad that she offered.

Finx stepped in side and took of her hat letting down her silvery white hair. "I thank you for letting me stay here kaname-sama"

"No, thank you for deciding to attend Cross Academy." Kaname bowed his head slightly and pushed the door close. The room became much darker and it was a relief to not have to glare into the sun. "I'm sorry, but I must excuse myself." Kaname walked back up the staircase and was greeted by Seiren when he entered his room. "Find me all the information you can on Kya Shoutou." Seiren bowed to him and left immediately to fulfill his wish. Kaname walked to the window in his room and looked out on the academy. They were all pawns in his game of chess. They were all going to be used in some way to protect his queen, Yuki. He was not going to let anything threaten her.

Takuma reached up and scratched his head as Kaname excused himself. "Ah, well...now what do I do? Is there anything I could help you with to make your first day here better?" He smiled at the new student. He didn't want to just leave her here to find her own way around.

Ayumi peaked around from behind Shiki and gazed at Rima. Well, she wasn't exactly looking at Rima, but the box of pocky in her hand. It was something new to Ayumi and it looked yummy. "Ma-..May I have some too?" She took a step out from behind Shiki and held her hand up to her mouth. She would have held out her hand if it had been Takuma, but they weren't Takuma and she was scared. It took almost all her strength not to hide behind Shiki again, but she held her ground while she wanted for Rima's reply.

Rima saw a ghost of a smile on Shiki's face. She knew that an ordinary, everyday person wouldn't have noticed. Well, Rima was Rima. She extended her arm to reach Ayumi. "Here you go." She looked at the half-astonished, half-amused expression on the younger girl's face. Clearly, this was the first time she had ever seen the greatest food on the face of the earth, pocky.

Ayumi reached out and grabbed the pocky all while looking down at the ground. She couldn't bring herself to look Rima in the face she was embarrassed and scared without her brother. "Thank you." She whispered to Rima. When she had the stick of pocky in her possession she took the small step to the right to conceal herself behind Shiki again. Feeling almost completely relieved of her fear she lifted the piece of pocky up to her face and examined it. 'How could this little thing be emitting such a sweet smell?' She thought to herself. Her face showed a clear picture of her puzzlement, but she didn't care because in her own mind she was hidden. She lifted the piece of pocky to her mouth and began to nimble on the end of it only to be greeted with a sweet taste that made her eyes widen a little bit. "It is delicious!" She whispered in excitement forgetting that there were indeed people around to hear her. She examined the pocky again to see if there was some secret behind it, but found nothing. She stuffed the stick into her mouth and began to suck on it to savor the flavor.

Finx watched kaname go and sighed hoping no one else would notice her right away. She went up the stairs and found an empty room. She wondered if she should just take the room or if she was asigned rooms. Shrugging she entered and started to put her stuff away.

After class Yuuki ran to the gate at the moon dorm. It was almost time for the switch. The fan girls were beginning to rush over. "All students need to return to their own dorms. Please for your own safety" Yuuki was trying to push back the girls. Her heart skipped a beat when she heard the gate come open. "Please get back!" she continued to yell. The fan girls knocked yuuki down on the ground."Ow"

Zero woke up when class ended and he stretched as he stood. Time to keep the girls from the Night Class. He went outside and helped Yuuki keep the girls back. It wasn't very hard for him to do.

The day class had ended recently and already Kaname could hear the crowd of girls that had began to form outside the gates. He gathered up his books and became to head outside to gather the rest of the Night Class. "It is time to leave, Takuma." He said as he passed him and exited the Moon dorm. "Is everyone ready?" Kaname asked Shiki, Rima, and Ayumi.
"Ah, yes I'll there in a moment." He said to Kaname. He had to find the new student and tell her that it was time to leave, but he didn't know her name or where she had taken off to. "Hello, if you're here it is time for the Night class to leave, so please begin to head outside." He announced to an empty hallway and hoped that someone had heard him.
Ayumi jumped when she heard Kaname's voice and hid behind Shiki. "Yes." She mumbled to Kaname. She was scared after he had hit Aidou and she didn't want to do anything to upset him.

Yuuki looked up at Zero. "Thanks for helping me up Zero!" she yelled at him as she picked herself up off the ground. Well at least he was able to keep the fan girls away so that she could get up instead of being trampled. As she stood up she felt a slight pain in her ankle.

"You really should be more careful, Yuuki." Zero stated. "Don't come out here if your not able to handle the girls." he told her. He wasn't always going to be able to protect her, so she really needed to be able to stand up for herself.

"Yes, Kaname-sama. I'm ready to go." Shiki said. He looked at Ayumi when she hid behind him. But he didn't try to make her move. He did promise Ichijou that he would look after her and he will.

"Well maybe if you weren't slacking off like always Zero" Yuuki stated a tad angered. She simply crossed her arms and stepped over to the say to block the screaming girls from the Night Class. "Stay back! she yelled not looking at Zero. She wanted to prove to him that she didn't need his help.

"I'm not the one slacking off. You are if you can't keep the girls in line." Zero stated. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms, watching her. He was going to let her handle them. If she wanted to do it herself and get hurt, that was her problem. Not his.

"It's time to leave everyone." Kaname walked past them and through the gate the led to the school. There was a crowd of girls forming outside and they were wild. It was probably because of Aidou's entrance that morning and that irritated him to no end. He didn't learn his lesson no matter how many times he was told. Yuki was fighting off a crowd of Day class girls trying to get to the Night class students. "Thank you, Yuki. Don't push yourself too far." Kaname said as he paused in the middle of the path.
She stayed hidden behind Shiki and wasn't going move until Shiki did or until Takuma came to save her. She could her there was some loud noises outside the gate and she didn't want to go out there. It would be scary! She reached out and grabbed Shiki's hand and began to squeeze it, but was careful not to over due it this time.
